This was pretty hot! I will say, it's nice to have a story where Samus isn't being raped by aliens and just gets to enjoy herself (it's surprisingly rare around these parts).
Given the independent character we get to know through the games, this also seems like the kind of thing she would do from time to time; she has to keep moving, but she can grab this guy and spend the night, well, relieving tension.
I personally think it would have been nice to see how this got started, but in medias res is a powerful tool as well, and does serve to immediately grab the audience's attention. Overall, I really enjoyed it!
