I don't review often but chapter one caught my interest right away. It is descriptive without droning and flows beautifully. It reminds me of the Kingdom Hearts cutscenes ^_^

Even though part of me wants to drop to my knees and scream "WHY???" to the skies, the majority of me understands.

It's hard to work on something you've lost interest in. I know the feeling all too well. I start something, then I get stuck and the thing just sits there, never to be worked on again.

But you're right, about the little snippets being better than nothing. I actually think that's a better idea. This way, you can just jot down ideas as they come, without having to worry too much about having to struggle with a particular storyline.

So yeah, as much as I was looking forward to Absolute Nexus, I kind of had a feeling something like this'd happen. I'm still going to look forward to the snippets, though, and I am SO going to raid the Writer's Block section. X3

Wow! This story had me reeling from the moment i read the title. I loved it. *giggles* i also like the fact that Axel isnt always the one on top. The way you rounded everyone's characters fit right in. I feel so sad for Reno tho. That part made me cry and i was constantly laughing at the humor in this story. Way down deep this story really touched me. You are an awesome writer and i will now search out more of your work. You have now become one of my favorite authors on this site.

I shall comment you on your very, very brilliant piece of fanfiction right here. It is rare to find fanfiction that in such a way is both consistent with the past (aka series, game, books) and at the same time has it's very own plot that's both original and interesting.

The way you describe Gaia's grotto is excellent, it truly feels like a nightmare of the more disturbing kind. No the kind where you wake up screaming or flailing and terrified, but where you wake up and can't get the dream out of your head and is afraid to fall asleep again.

However as a personal taste I prefer slightly more angst (and slightly more dwelling on said angst XD) but... well, I must admit in this case I don't give a damn. It's just that good.

Okay, I'm going to give my honest opinion! For one I loved the story, though, yeah more Roxas would've been great I understand why there wasn't much until the end. The first few chapters when they were in Gaia's Grotto I thought was cool at first but to me, personally, they got extremely boring and I little redundant at the end. I loved Reno, though, and I cried my eyes out when he died. The way you wrote it was extremely emotional and the imagery was prefect. The balanced of angst and comedy and amazing, too. It was sad without being overly dramatic yet it invoked such emotion that it made me feel almost everything the characters did.

I absolutely adored how all the characters acted and reacted together at Radiant Garden. I believe you fit everything to a T. Yuffie's hyper-activeness, Aeris' calm mothering yet frighteningly vigorous nature, 'Mr, Fur's' seemingly detached moods, and Cid's gruffness was all, for lack of a better word, perfect. Even Merlin's aloof mysteriousness fit him extremely well. The relationship between Sora and Riku was vary well done, in my opinion. The Axel/Vincent I wasn't too big on but it was understandable and the way you wrote it seemed natural enough.

The relationship between Axel and Roxas was, above all else, my favorite parts. All the memories that kept Axel together through the story never ceased to bring tears to my eyes or had my laughing until my sides were sore. Just call me over sentimental. Of course, the ending was amazing and I can't wait for more Axel/Roxas in the next story! All in all this was a wild ride and is no doubt one of my favorite fanfictions. I'm early waiting for when you start up the squeal but I can understand the need for a break. Take your time and wow everyone like I'm sure you did with this beautifully written story.

I�m sorry I missed the end of this.

I had to leave around the time Ax finally got it through Vinny�s head that he should just go up and talk to Cid, where Sora shows up at the end of the chapter.

Probably a bad place to leave, but that�s college for you. But I had thought I�d make it back before the show ended. Just over a week too late. Damn.

Well, the hell with it. I�m going back to chapter one and reading it all over again! I�m not sure if I should leave back-reviews for each chapter, but I�ll most definitely leave a huge-ma-tastic review after I read the final chapter.

Still, this has been one long and crazy ride. You always exceeded any expectations I had of the story. You gave me hooks to hang on, questions to ask, and things to hope in. I have come to love this warped little version of Axel, come to love your quiet, commanding, shy Vincent. And I have come to hate Hojo on whole new levels, because if 'DoC' has taught me anything it�s that everything is always Hojo�s fault, as is the Grotto (whether Hojo had anything to do or not with it�s creation/organization is irrelevant and doesn�t make anything less his fault).

I have laughed, and bled, and dreamed in the reading of this. I have loved too, and find myself consoled with the satisfying ache that comes with the close of any well wrought story. In the years to come, this fiction will more than likely always play at the back of my mind. I will be going through a humdrum day, and then find myself smiling over the lighter points of this tale.

This world was nothing if not rich, and I will miss it.

May your pen be ever light, and may the muses always find you.

i must say. this was a very sweet read. definitly NOT what i expected. at all. yet I couldn't get away from it, its so damn addicting. February? damn... that a looong asssss time. i kid you not. Ill try to be patient though cus your so awesome. =]

The answer is YES! *screams at the top of her lungs, at the top of the tallest mountain so that all may hear* Please make a sequel. I don't know if I've reviewed this before, rather under or a different name or otherwise, but I've been reading this fic since it's been posted here and it is my absolute favorite AxelRoxas Kingdom Hearts fanfiction. I'm in love with your writing, your ability to capture the character's personalities so well, and even when they're interacting! It's fantastic! This KH fan is very, very pleased. Hope to see the updates and sequel up soon~!
