I paused when seeing the title, and with this being my top favorite pairing, I had to read. Not even two paragraphs in did I start freaking out, haha.

Only because I swear I just started my own RoxasSora fic recently, and it's about Church and such as well. Though they're only friends and Roxas is an Atheist, whereas Sora is Christian. I'd tell you more but I'm sure I'd bore you, heh.

About this fic though, I absolutely love it. I swear I have a ... sin-fetish? Or something. I don't know. I just love corruption in all sorts of ways, and what better than being gay, incestuous, AND devout to a religion that frowns upon it?

    Anyways. WRITE MOAR. Me like.

There's so much I'd love to say, but it feels rather pointless as Vaed has already worded it more eloquently than I ever could. So I'll leave my comment on this gem to his/her capable fingers.

But Devil!Axel is an absolutely perfect twist.

The surreality, the ungodliness, he blasphemy. Morals mixed in with questionable integrity, what is right and what is wrong? The lack of dialogue is a breath of fresh air, leaving us to think on the events that transpired. Very effective. Their beliefs all but shattered, struggling to pick up the pieces only to scatter them again. The inner turmoil boiling through both of them, Sora's faceless form though emotion-filled actions. Roxas' guilty conscience, letting the devil take his soul as long as he had sin. Cleansing himself in water as though it will save him. It all builds up into something very powerful. I love it. The narrarator isn't smiling in this fic, not smiling at all. Rather, the narrarator equates to a judge dealing out a death sentence. Very, very fitting. No'one is smiling in this fic. None except for the devil. All things fall apart, but when things fall apart, doesn't that also mean the start of a new journey?

I can't wait to find out.
