First, I apologize for the terribly late review, I try to review stories and chapters within 24 hours of publishing, but the site decided to switch to pong mode right as I hit submit, and I've been lazy since then...

Joachim and Leon would make an adorable couple; I've always thought so even after first playing through LoI (though, my mind tends to twist ideas of any two good-looking characters into all sorts of bizarre combinations). I was grinning by the end of the story, Leon's squirming like a toad, when he would probably just smile and laugh were it anyone *else,* which of course can only mean the feelings are on some level mutual.

A nice ending, by the way, I xD'd when Joachim mentioned the bath.

Again, I liked it. Nothing noticeably odd, but then, I've been awake for 36 hours, so I wouldn't really know. I enjoyed it as usual, I'm glad you decided to continue.

Mhmmm, yes you should write more, write like 10 chapters more!! Absolutly love how you have them act/think. The tasty blood & Host idea was a good explantion. Hoping for more naughty "dreams" courtesy of the lovely vampire!

This is really well-written and in character, as far as I can tell. Please keep up with this story, I've enjoyed it so far and I'm very anxious about what's going to come next. You really are a good writer, and this story is much better than any other ones I've read for Lament of Innocence. Please, please keep writing this!

I liked this one even more than the last. Leon and Joachim have always seemed like they would get along together, yet finding FF's that suit both their personalities is difficult. You've pulled it off quite well, though, and I commend you for that. The only minor complaint I have is that you used "wretched fool" three times in a row, which read a bit odd to me. It's the term he uses in the game, I know, but it sounded strange to hear it so often so close together. Again, I look forward to the next chapter.

Please allow me to express my enjoyment of your fic. Though I admit that I have never played this particular Castlevania, your characterizations (and a quick lookup on wiki, heh) have provided enough background where I can understand essentially what is going on.

I really do appreciate the effort you put into your first two chapters. There are times when I enjoy a quick one shot, but other times I really prefer to read an author's unique take on the characters or universe. Oftentimes I find that the build up, if properly executed, leads to a greater sense of anticipation for the rest the of the story (whether it includes NC-17-type content or not).

In both of your chapters you questioned your readers as to whether you should continue. I would like to suggest that you do, because you have already spent so much effort in developing a wonderful backstory, that it seems like an honest shame to just let it go. Please understand, that I have actually never written a review before (I tend to be very shy in expressing my opinions). However, I've read that authors really do appreciate feedback, and that it can encourage them to continue with their stories. And I would very much like to see you continue with yours.

I look forward to reading more of your work (I noted in your profile that you have several animes that I am interested in, and given your writing style I'm curious to see what you may have published) and hope that you have as much fun writing as we do reading!

Nice. I liked how the two of them developed some sort of a pseudo-friendship immediately, as it seemed they would have under different circumstances in the game. One thing I should note is that it might be a good idea to try to have the characters themselves explain things like how Joachim could taste Leon's personality, through dialogue or thoughts, rather than do it from a narrative perspective. But I anticipate the next chapter.
