haha, naw, no biggie. I like that you've given so much thought to Stronghoof's class switching. it also kind of makes the story a lot more believable too, in terms of thoughts like "omg you noob how did you even get to Northrend if you can hardly play your class" haha!

naw, I'm just too hard on him. it really does interest me though. I kinda wish there was more detailing of it in the earlier chapters though. you know, just to break some of the focus that's on all of Anarchei's adventures and instead make Stronghoof a... a more compelling character, I guess. because there really is a lot of Anarchei's past, you know? it's just in all the little things he does and that you casually mention, which IS a lot of fun, but in retrospect, now that I think about it, it does also kind of overshadow Stronghoof a bit.

but that really is something that only comes in retrospect I suppose :P no big deal. and, heh, no problem. I love to review! it helps me to organize my thoughts on a story. plus, haha, well I know how awesome it is to get them so I do try to share the love ya know?

anyways, this last chapter was cute. well, the beginning was not so cute, but the ending made it nice and fuzzy, which is good because those are the best ways to end tense chapters. but I am definitely glad I held my tears. and also that Anarchei remembered he had rez! Stronghoof should switch back to being a shaman though, if he's gonna keep dying so much. at least then he'll be able to ankh. lawlz, I'm ripping on him again, the poor guy. I just really am so tittillated by the class changes he's undergone. I do believe that this is the only WoW story I've read that has dealt with that. then again I'm pretty sure this is the ONLY dranei/tauren story too so there's that for ya eh?

I've mentioned that before too though, I think, about how I like that you pay so much attention to the general lore but also to each individual character. like Jorvus and his family, for example (haha, actually I'm really attached to him. I like elves (even fakers who aren't but still want to be ones) and I'm pretty attached to the Netherdrakes as a whole so he's like, a double bonus!). anyways, my point with them is that you didn't let up on the description of their homes and their clothing (haha, just reading about that gala at the end made it so obvious that the netherdrakes have absolutely no clue how things actually work and instead are just mimicking what they see other races do). it was fun. and sort of appropriate too, I think. especially considering Stronghoof's rather quick recovery from seeing his ex appear again. my interpretation of it is that he's already dealt with the guy's death a long, long time ago, that grief is over and done with. this new development was so sudden and so quick (on top of the losses he's already suffered (i.e. spirits, etc)) that it's nothing more than just a short, bad dream, a nightmare that's over and done with even before it can actually affect his life.

or at least, affect it any more than it already has. I think what amused me the most though was the fact that the instant Jorvus says he's bi, Stronghoof just flat-out asks if he and Anarchei have had sex. haha, wishful thinking on his part perhaps? or does he just suffer from terribly bad manners and poor control of his tongue? haha, lawlz, I was just so amused by the fact that that's the very first thing he asks. haha, hilarious.

oh man. a pally-DK-pally duel? that musta lasted for weeks! I bet Stronghoof just chose the easier of the options :P

haha, naw, I kid. that was a pretty intense chapter. and I was surprised to see mention of Quel'delar. you know, at first I was like "yeeesh... filthy Alli gettin' their dirty paws on elven swords" (personally I am of the opinion that the blood elves would simply kill whoever the blade "chose" and let it choose someone new instead, since the humans: tried to execute their prince/abandoned them to the Scourge, etc., night elves are, well, night elves (same goes for Tauren), orcs killed tons of them only 20 years (the blink of an eye) before, trolls are their hated racial enemy (even jungle ones) and then dwarves and gnomes just don't get any respect, but that's just me!) anywho, but then (after all that) I was also kinda like "well, he IS a dranei pally, and the Shattered Sun and Prophet Velen did kinda help restore the Sunwell" so actually that would make the most sense of all the Alli race/class combinations.

also, I am kinda curious how serious you are about this kinda like, class switchin' stuff. I mean, was Stronghoof's change whole-sale? like, no leftover abilities (from any class), nothin? it's interesting to think about. but, more importantly, what's gonna happen next? is this like, a real dead-death as in real life kinda death, or is it like a WoW death which is not so much a death so much as just a revolving door? time will tell how teared up I should be here, I guess.

ahahaha, what a cruel place to end the chapter! especially when it's such a rare pairing as this. I'm awfully excited. dare I hope that Jorus simply joins in? I mean, geez, he is telepathic right? or are you hell-bent on simply being a frustrating tease

ah, you did continue it! I'm really wondering how this is gonna pan out, you seem to be doing a lot of things that a, heh, a little out of the norm for the WoW universe. it's very refreshing, especially the deviance from the *grunt**grunt* Alli good Horde bad *grunt**grunt*. did I comment on that before? if I did, it hit me anew when I read this again! I love it! and oooo, backstory. where'll this all go? we shall have to see huh? especially with the whole altenate names thing (and the... long Dranei lifespan? how did Daniel come to be hmm? questions questions).

lots of intriguing stuff. and some stuff that was just flat-out cool too. like, some of the the dialogue with the elder tauren shaman/druid amd Daniel. that was just so spot on for the peaceful/easy-going and down to earth tauren! honestly, that right there was is one of the major reasons I'd really like to see you keep developing this! heh, I mean, I'll admit that I'm srsly addicted to elves. and demons. there's nothing I like more in the world! but here I just... can't help but find myself interested in a race I usually never glance twice at! I'm super serious here! heh, the banter was *spot on*! it was witty, it was clever, and it was cute. I really do want to see what's next. oh, and the tauren racial name for themselves was perfect too. added a... certain touch of respect, perhaps? it made Daniel seem so much more worldly and aware. I mean, I usually excited when one member of a race actually refers to themself with the proper terms. to see an outsider refer to them in their own terms makes the character just... well, that muchmore compelling.

in terms of critiquing, I think that there are some definite spots that could use a little more explanation (and I just say this because I tend to view everything I post as a "draft" that I'll continue to work on later. if you don't feel like editing some or something feel free to just keep these things in mind for the future :P). where exactly Daniel goes is one question that wasn't the clearest in my mind. I mean, they're in Dalaran right? are they just in the "healing houses" of Dalaran? because the tauren guards and... um, gosh, I forget his name (sorry, I'm really bad at remembering new characters). I'll call him R for now. anyways, between the tauren guards and R's sudden dropping back, I assumed they were like, somewhere in the Horde's Sunreaver section or something. but if they are in the healing houses, why might they be druids in there? after all, druids (aside from the high elven druid-magi) are relatively new to the Eastern Kingdoms. unless they're with the Cenarion Circle? or the Emerald Circle? or just a group of dedicated healers? etc.

just a little bit of lore stuff. or maybe descripters about the building and the halls itself. I mean, the "teldrassil glow" made me think of like, moonwells and the insides of trees, but me being Hordecore I might have missed what you actually meant :P. so yeah, some more descriptors. and then, like, when Daniel is examining the wounds, or at least helping the elder druid guy to think through them, perhaps explain why Daniel can come to the conclusion so quickly (and in that case, why he might not have healed the tauren dude himself?). like, maybe he's Holy, or has a lot of Holy friends? something to pull the reader into the seriousness of the situation and the length of the process. know what I mean?

haha, or don't. just thinking aloud, if you're curious about ways to perhaps improve. yeeaaah. gold star!

aww, why not? I thimk there's definitely a lotta potential here for this story. plus I rather like a lot of the cooperation that you got going on between the races here. it's warm and fuzzy, and I'm tired of the *gruntgunt* "me horde you alli, I evil you die" *gruntgrunt* that's so common.
