Reviews for Zelda II: Adventure of Link - Vibrant Red

Wow a Zelda II story! You know back in the day when I was a little girl playing this game, I knew something kinky was going on when Link followed some lady behind those closed doors. I am glad to see that I wasn't the only one to think that. But I do have to wonder (like another reviewer mentioned) what happens when Link follows the old hag? Heh...not sure I want to know.

You know I really like Zelda II. It was a hard game that I found very challenaging. I like the fact that the game story was dark and tended to have more of a adult theme...more so than any other Zelda game made yet.

On a side note: Did anybody else notice that when you talked to one of the random town people that said "Hello" if you stopped them before they said the letter "O" in "Hello" they would say "Hell". That used to crack me up. Look Mom and Dad my game said a cuss word. Yeah my parents were none to pleased.

Yes, I see your point. As it happens, that aspect was actually played up in the new, edited version.

Although the after-the-fact explicitness (if you know what I mean) is not really my cup of tea, I still have to give you five out of five for a thoroughly good piece of work, and extra brownie points for covering one of the older games.

    Interesting little concept.

But it does beg the question how the hag in orange restores Link's magic.

I have heard about what the lady in the village dose to Link as she "replenishes his health"
Good job in writing a story about it.

Have you seen the inn's in Golden Sun?
    One bed, 4 warriors. 2F's and 2 M's.
I wonder what is going on?

    Wow! Awesome, friend!!
As you know I'm not a zelda fan but the warmth
and simplicity of the story is most delightful!
Good to see you back in business! I don't think I'm
the only one who thinks so.
