Hmm. Not sure what to think. On the one hand, it's pretty well written. No major mistakes, nice use of language.
On the other hand, it's really really short. Perhaps too short. Still, you managed to give Hood a bit of personality in the short time we were with him. So that's good.
In short, a promising beginning and I look forward to seeing what you do next.
