This story was pretty good, though there was a lot of dialogue dump; add more descriptiveness next time. When you have a lot of dialogue shot after another without describing even the dialogue, it blends together and loses meaning.
But I do have to point out that Enzai takes place in the Victorian period- IE, late 1800's, and the French Revolution took place in the late 1700's. An error that glaring does affect my ability to enjoy a story; if the setting is historical, research should be done.

This was my first time reading an Enzai story and I was really happy.I have to say that your story is really good! Please keep updating!
