Thank you for this intense, perfect story. It totally captured everything Assassin's Creed feels like to me, captures the very essence of Altair's lonely soul and though I wouldn't have expected for Altair to make such a perfect bottom, with Maximilian he has found his perfect counterpart. A lovely read!

The ending was a nice touch; I'd forgotten it was Desmond accessing the memory. You did a great job with this story. The only thing I can fault with it is the double spacing.

Wow. I mean, simply, wow. I came in here on a whim and never expected to be this entertained. Lovely job. I totally adore Maximilian and the way you write him is delightful. He's a refreshingly cool, mature original character.
Also, third chapter, Altair all desperate and feral-like, bloody hot.

For the love of little pink elephants, please continue this story. With 99% of the current AC fandom being Mary Sues written with various levels of proficiency, a fic like this a breath of fresh air. Wonderfully written and a pleasure to read. I am usually weary of OCs, but Maximilian is a great example of how it can be done right.
