I enjoyed this story. I like Vera and Kristoph, not together but I like their characters. You did a good job writing them.

I'm not too keen on rape, but otherwise this was an interesting read. You could do with more exposition and detail, and the way your put the dialogue was a bit stilted. To put it more simply, you left too much to the readers' imaginations; this sort of writing needs to be meatier, at the risk of sounding trite.
