Hadn't expected that Virmire twist! Nice work with tweaking the shuttle sequence to fit the take on the characters that you're building up.

Thank you much for starting and sharing your fic. I've been hoping for someone to write a male Shepard and address what could be going on in his head during his death and resurrection. Enjoying your writing style in this and definitely looking forward to reading where you plan to take the story and how you will write Shepard/Ashley with regard to ME2 events like Horizon.
