I come back to this fic every few years. First-person is tricky to write well, but you nailed Zoey's voice and characterization. The progression of her relationship with Tristian feels natural, and I was rooting for them. The cliffhanger ending gives the reader hope, but boy is it evil! (In a good way.)
I adore this story, definitely my favorite fic. <3

Came for mindless smut, got an excellently written emotional journey. I thoroughly enjoyed every minute reading this story. I know that by now there isn't really any chance that you'd continue it, but I wish you would... so I can be 100% positive it was Tristan she heard. But... even knowing it was him wouldn't be enough, they gotta find a way to be together forever ;_;

I gotta say, this is one of my favorite Fanfictions, Ero or otherwise. But I wept like a baby at the end (╥_╥) Thanks for the feels, and I hope to see more from you.

Why must you end this story?! It would be wonderful if you made another sequel to this. I remember reading this fiction a while ago, I believe the movie "Warm Bodies" ripped you off big time! Please make a sequel! I feel like this fiction is incomplete because I have so many questions. Great story, though! Very original.

Hey! That was a great story! Had me at the edge of my seat the whole time! I love how you took these people and made them real. A nameless hunter into a man named Tristan. It was really awesome and I like how at the end she went back :DDD I wish there was more though :(

I didn't think this fic would have so much emotion to it either. I just entered this with really smutty assumptions. But it was actually really good. Great writing and I loved the whole story. It was deep and emotional and all that stuff I never expected out of a L4D fic. Once again, kudos for the great job!

In all honesty, I had began reading your story with solely naughty thoughts, completely unaware of the feels I was going to have. The emotion I felt reading this piece of literature generally surprised me. PLAYTHING was a beautiful story, and I hope to see more from you in the future. A new and hopeful for more fan, endlessClockwork.

This story was simply amazing. I came on AFF today not thinking I'd find anything that would capture me and force me to read to the end like this story did to me. It was very well played out and I loved every bit of it. The ending was phenomenal and I could only wish for a sequel but know that there most likely wont be one. This is one of my favorite fan fictions of all time and I recommend you write more for I'd love to read anything by you.
