I love your vocabulary. That's for starters. Secondly, while I had no clue about the characters coming into this, you painted a wonderful image with your words. I have a very nice description in my head now of Gale. Cielo is still a little bit of a mystery to me. But all in all, excellent opening chapter. :] Mores~
