I am a bit more open to het recently then I was back in my day -- And lucky for me. This was a great story, well written, beautifully descriptive and the concept wasn't too shabby, either. Did I mention sexy? Don't think I did.

And ignore the top reviewer completely -- I think I know a well-versed story when I see it. It wasn't clunky at all, your tropes were wonderful, and the description was intricate and detailed.

You need to show and not tell. All felt a little bit clunky to me.
Also, I read that fic you were talking about. It felt like it had been written by children -- what's with the chapter of single lines? Please tell whoever did that it comes across as lazy, not some super-clever stylistic choice.
