A/N: This is a companion piece to "Love Under A Waterfall". From the same plot line. NOT the same plot line as A Man's Duty.

"So beautiful"

It was an idle thought, but true nonetheless. So beautiful. She craved him. Wanted him so badly it hurt. To feel him, inside her, touching her, caressing her. But he wasn't hers to have.

It wasn't... love.

No, love is something bred from closeness, from familiarity. She had none of those things with him. What she felt was lust. Intense lust, yes, but lust all the same. And she knew this.

So many nights, alone in her room, had been spent thinking of him. Craving the feel of his breath, heated and ragged against her neck.

Wanting so much to know the taste of his sweat, dripping from his brow against her lips, as he ground himself into her.

She gasped, running her hands along her heated skin. Raking her nails over hyper sensitive nipples, scratching down against the smooth drape of skin that was her stomach.

She was careful to move slowly, teasingly. Thinking of his hands, large and lightly calloused, gliding over her skin. Teasing her, making her beg for it before he would continue.

"Please..." she begged, raspy and filled with need.

She, or in her mind, he obliged. Sliding his fingers down her stomach further until one of the calloused digits slid against her glistening lips.

She shuddered, taking a gasping breath as his finger teased her slit, waiting until she was writhing oh so deliciously beneath his hands before continuing.

His finger slipped between the lips of her sex, sliding slowly up to run against her clit. When she shivered and arched her back, he began to rub his thumb against it. Pushing into the hooded bundle of nerves with enough force to make her plead for more with soft moans.

She fell back, squirming into the mattress of her bed as he continued his ministrations. Sliding two fingers down to run a light circle against her entrance even as his thumb flicked lightly against her clit, sending waves of pleasure down her spine.

When his fingers slammed inside her, she nearly screamed. Bending her legs up, digging her toes into the bedspread. She bit her lip and could faintly hear him chuckling as he slowly began to pump his fingers inside her.

She squirmed and writhed, bed sheets wrapping around her feet, ass lifting up off the mattress as his fingers began moving faster. She swallowed hard, each shuddering gasp she took coupled with a moan.

When he arched his fingers inside her, running it against that one wonderful spot along her walls she fell back into the bed with a start.

Her entire world was suddenly foggy as her sex tightened around his pumping fingers. Every muscle in her body grew taut and she began to shake as heavy waves of pleasure overcame her.

When her euphoria subsided and the fog encasing her mind lifted, he slowly removed his fingers.

She sat up, panting and gasping, and looked down at her fingers with an exasperated sigh. She slid her slick hands to brace herself against the bed and shook her head.

"If only it really were you, Link," Zelda sighed, and fell once more back into her bed. This time to sleep. Alone, as she did every night.
