Soma was in the mood for a leisurely pace and sightseeing, so he flapped his wings slowly but steadily, rising up the high tower of Demon Guest House. The white bat maneuvered casually between dancing ghosts, projectile-throwing skeletons and nightmare-born demons of the abyss. He slipped by unharmed, rising ever higher and leaving the demons to their sorrowful existences. They were his servants, after all.

On the highest floor of the Guest House, there was a very special guest room, tempting the rare visitor that made it that far, whether by invitation or just brute force. Its allure had proven too much for even the blood of the Belmont clan. Julius Belmont had succumbed there, sapped of his life essence. Truthfully, he had come to defeat Soma, but the last Belmont had been bested by Soma, after which he gave Julius to the mercy of his most loved servants.

He flew over the stairs leading into the tower's penthouse bedroom and through the doorway, and in the blink of an eye, where there had been a white bat, there was a youth with wildly flowing silvery white hair. A chorus of squeals welcomed Soma as he materialized in his jeans, black shirt and white coat. His eyes gleamed red.

Since he claimed his power, Soma's taste in women had changed.
