“I-I accidentally the whole bottle,” Haku hiccuped as she set her empty sake bottle on the table in front of her. The white haired woman was drenched in sake from spilling the entire contents of the bottle on herself.

“What, no way, you made such a big mess too,” Meiko said as she gave her friend a napkin to clean up with.

“I'm sorry!” Haku apologized as she rested her head on the table.

“It's alright, but I hate having to babysit you like this!” Meiko said to the drunk Haku. The wheels in her head began to turn. “Hey Haku, do you want to play a drinking game with me?” Meiko smirked as she asked Haku.

“I would, but I spilled all of my sake,” Haku whined.

“No problem, I'll share mine with you. Okay, here are the rules, every time you didn't get a chance to sing this week you take a drink, I take a drink after you have taken at least five. The first one to stop loses,” Meiko explained to Haku.

Haku nodded in agreement.

“Okay, so did you sing on Monday?” Meiko asked.

Haku shook her head and took a drink from the sake bottle they now shared.

“Did you sing on Tuesday? No? How about on Wednesday? Thursday? Did you get to sing today?” Meiko urged her friend on.

Haku hesitated before she took her last drink.

“Okay, well that was five so now I take a drink,” Meiko said. “Ready for round two?”

“No way!” Haku rested her head on the table once again.

“Alright then, but you lost so now you have to babysit Miku tonight.”

“Miku is a big girl...” Haku whispered as she drifted off into a alcohol induced sleep.

“Hurry and wake up!” Neru shouted as she kicked Haku awake. Haku had been asleep for a couple of hours.

“I didn't touch it!” Haku exclaimed as she sat upright.

“I need to borrow that certain pump, go find it for me. Oh, Miku is also here,” Neru said.

Haku vaguely recalled the drinking game that she and Meiko had played and now understood what Meiko had meant by “babysit.”
