Authors Note: YEP, I'm starting another story. Shocker. This one has been in my brain box for awhile so I started writing it and I guess I decided to post it. So enjoy, review, all that jazz <3
We never think of the far future. Sure we lie and say we think about the future and that we have things all figured out.
If only things were that easy.If only we could plan out our future. If only we knew what was in store.
But then what's the fun in that?
"Roxas are you listening to me at all?"
The sandy blonde snapped out of his slight daze. His beautiful blue eyes focusing on the white haired girl in front of him. The noise of the crowded cafeteria flooding into his ears, how did he daze off with all that noise?
"I'm sorry Nami, I must have dazed off. I'm so bored." He said crossing his arms on the table and leaning his head on them. They would be outside but it was pouring and as much as he'd love to sit in the rain, he didn't want to spend the last two classes of the day soaking wet.
"Good to know I can't stop your boredom." She giggled putting her sketch book down. "I was thinking about what we should do this weekend, I assume you'll be over like always. Riku said Sora was spending the weekend over at our house, and Kairi's coming over too, so we'd have the whole gang their. And our parents will be out so we'll have the whole house to ourselves." He was always at Namine's because he couldn't stand being at home. His parents were always disappointed in him, even though he was a straight A student and he did everything they wanted him to do. It was never enough. They were in and out of the house all the time, but when they were home they'd somehow manage to have parties and trash up the house then have Roxas clean it up. He never even made a mess, his room may have looked slightly messy but that was just so he wouldn't go crazy. His parents made him clean everything from a young age, no normal boy should keep everything so clean.
Namine and Riku's house was his second home, he'd stay there when he didn't want to be alone. Not like his own parents would notice if he was there, they only barged into his room when they were drunk off their ass. Otherwise they'd yell from across the house. Fighting, yelling, leaving, that's all that house was. They left money for him, that's the only good thing they've ever done for him.
He smiled a little for her, his best friend in the whole world. "Anything you plan for us will be amazing." He said reaching his hand out and rubbed hers. She gave him the cutest smile back.
"Awh look, a fag and his faghag that also happens to be a fag." Roxas groaned and looked up at the source of his current annoyance and his two little lackeys.
"Go away Seifer, I'm not in the mood. Go harass Hayner or something." He said putting his head back into his arms.
"Oh you don't get off that easy." The beanie headed football player grabbed the sandy blonde boy by the back of his shirt and yanked him up. Roxas made an agitated sound as he was trying to breath, his shirt choking him slightly.
Namine stood up. "Leave him alone Seifer! Fuck, why do you bother so much with him, do you love him or something?" She said angrily. That definitely grabbed Fu's attention.
The short hair girl was in front of Nami in a split second
"What. Did you just say?" she grabbed her wrist and she yelped as nails dug into her pale skin. "I dare you to say that again bitch. My Seify is no fucking queer, I have all the proof in the world." She said raising her hand to hit her and right before it could come in contact with her face another hand grabbed it and twisted it.
And Roxas was dropped.
"You lay another hand on her and I will break you." Kairi's voice was a relief along with another.
"If you don't want me to kick your ass in front of all these people you better leave now." When Roxas looked up he saw Riku holding a pressure point on Seifer that made him almost seem frozen before shoving him away and into Rye. Kairi did the same with Fu.
"Awh there's wonder fags here to save the fucking day." Seifer spit out straightening himself out.
"Big words for pretty much getting your ass handed to you and we just got here. Run along now." Kairi said crossing her ams as Nami buried her head into her lovers back.
"You wont be around forever to protect them." He said as he wrapped his arm around Fu and they left the Cafe.
Riku looked around. "Go back to what you were doing, you shitty bystanders." He said coldly and everyone went back to talking and soon it was as if nothing happened.
"You ok Rox?" He reached his hand out and helped him up.
"Sure." He looked over at Namine who was being cared for by Kairi. Kairi kissed Namine's wrist then slightly teary eyes then they came upon her lips and they shared such a sweet kiss. It made Roxas very jealous.
They were maybe the most beautiful girls in school, the fact that they were a couple made all the boys crazy.
"Hey guys, I heard about some commotion and came right over." the hyper little brunette bounced up and linked arms with Riku.
"Just some Seifer trouble again." Roxas said sitting back down on the bench of the table.
"Again? You got to be kidding me, actually wait why am I surprised? It's Seifer. He'll do anything to cover up his blatten homosexuality." He said sitting down as well.
Roxas laughed a little and things seemed to go back to normal until a strange feeling came over him.
"Oh I didn't tell you guys, but you know that band um.. Night Walker? Yea Night Walker?" Sora said perking up a little.
"That underground dark emo band? What about them?" Kairi said as she held onto Namine.
"Yea well apparently from what I heard when I was in the Main office is that two of the band members started school here today."
"You kidding me?! How did we not notice them all day?" Namine said, Roxas happened to know she really liked that band.
"You think it'd be a little hard to miss the lead singer/guitarist, Axel, with how tall he is and his tattoos and fire red hair." Roxas said picturing the boy, who he actually had thought was attractive.
"I guess they've been laying low. I don't blame them, they're so foreign looking they'd be swamped by girls, even if no one knew they were in a band." Riku said eating something from Roxas's food tray.
"I slightly feel like us and the goth kids are the only ones that know about them so at least they wont be to bugged for autographs and they're appearance may scare girls away. They like to get really into the "Night Walker" thing, they look like Vampires for real." Sora said drinking some water.
Roxas seemed to be the only one to notice the room get slightly cold and the talking quieted slightly.
"Oh there they are, should I go say something to them?" Sora's voice got a little excited.
"Well you are Class President go on and make them feel welcome." Riku laughed.
Roxas's weird feeling came back as he looked up. It almost seemed unreal to see the two boys that had just walked into the room. Axel and Demyx from Night Walker, they were even more beautiful in person. In their band pictures they wore lots of chains, leather, black, make-up and hair all done up. But nothing compared to how they looked in person.
The Blonde, Demyx was the bands Bass player. He had a mullet like mohawk that seemed to look natural at the moment, he had some ear studs and hoops, and an obvious neck tattoo. He had gorgeous face features, primarily his lighter green eyes. He wore and fitting black T-shirt with the bands logo on it and red skinny jeans with black skull suspenders hanging down and chains, finished off with converse.
But Roxas mainly focused on The red head, Axel, his breath hitched when he looked him up and down. Axel was so tall, easily the tallest in school, his hair probably added some inches but whatever. It was almost enchanting at how red it was, it made his face just pop, especially his emerald eyes. He had upside down triangle tattoos right under them, they seemed to hit. He too had some ear piercings. He was wearing a black fitting button up shirt and black skinny jeans with simple wallet chain and converse as well.
He couldn't deny wanting the boy, after with how gorgeous and talented he was, it wasn't hard to get swept up into his mysteriousness.
Sora was so short compared to them, Demyx was maybe Riku's height then Axel seemed to be at least 5 inches taller than him. Roxas was jealous that Sora was so not shy and was just talking to them. His heart beat a little faster when the brunette started leading them over to their little group.
"Guys say hi to Demyx and Axel!" he was so cheerful. They went about introducing themselves and when it got to Roxas he glanced up and a slight blush crossed is cheeks as he locked eyes with Axel.
"I'm.. Roxas, nice to meet you guys." He said holding his hand out he shook Demyx's hand and before you could touch Axel's the tall boy fled the room looking a little sick.
"Don't mind him, just a bit of jet lag. We were in Amsterdam before we got here this morning, guess he's a bit sick." Demyx said almost musically with a big smile.
"Woah, you're so committed to your bands image, you have your teeth filed!" Sora gasped.
Demyx laughed. "Yea our manager thought it'd be a good investment instead of fake teeth. And they're cool, but not when you bite your tongue." they all laughed but Roxas who was looking out the door that Axel had ran out of.
After a few more minutes the bell for the lunch rang and they all dispersed to their classes. Roxas had World Culture without any of his friends. When he waved bye to everyone as they went on their way. Walking into class he tried not to freeze when he saw Axel sitting in the back with his feet propped up on the desk. His seat was right next to his. When he approached his desk he could see Axel tense up and it made Roxas a little uneasy. He sat down and watched from the corner of his eye as the fire headed boy kicked down his feet and made an almost pained sound as he wrapped his head in his arms.
'I wonder if he's ok..' he thought looking at him as class started.
Axel didn't move the entire time and no one but Roxas seemed to notice or care. When class was almost over he looked at the taller boy and reached his hand out almost touching him.
"A-are you ok?.." he asked lightly placing his hand on his back. Roxas jump when he sat up quickly.
"Don't. Touch. Me." He gritted out as he grabbed his backpack and stood up right when the bell rang.
Roxas sat there a little taken aback, had he done something to him without knowing?
He could barely focus in Science with Kairi and Demyx, he was concerned about the red head, and he didn't even know him properly! And he had a weird feeling that Demyx was watching him but he never caught him staring so it must have just been his paranoia.
When the last bell rang They met up with Riku, Sora and Namine at the front of the school. Demyx had tagged along until he saw Axel standing in the rain by two motorcycles.
"Well I gotta go, we're still moving into our apartment, it was nice meeting you all." he waved and started walking toward the bikes.
"Wait! It's pouring rain, freezing, and you guys are going to ride motorcycles? Are you two insane?" Namine yelled clinging to Kairi for some warmth.
Demyx let out a laugh. "We like to live on the edge, it's apart of the gig." he called back waving them off as he approached Axel.
Roxas locked eyes with Axel again even with the distance and rain he could see his face and eyes, greatly darker green then before. Axel looked almost pained as he slid his helmet on and got on his bike and peeled out of the parking lot with Demyx right behind him.
"Weird dudes." Riku said walking out into the rain.
"I hope they'll be ok." Kairi said pulling out her umbrella for her and Namine.
"I have a feeling they don't really care, it probably helps with their image." Sora said grabbing Riku's hand.
"Anyway we ready to go for a weekend of awesome?" Namine smiled as she grabbed Roxas's hand and pulled him along. He smiled and for a second stopped thinking about the Mysterious red head.
