Summary: Even though Hades was taken down, Pit couldn’t get his voice out of his head. Even when he was taken to the grave, Hades will continue to plague Pit’s dreams with horrifying nightmares of what if situations and Pit feels like he’s at the end of his sanity…

Warning. Huge spoilers for those who haven’t finished Uprising; this story will ruin your life if you didn’t finish it. Also, given that I made the royal bodyguards, they’ll be in the story too but won’t have a huge role besides being briefly mentioned. And of course, I had to change Dark Pit’s name to Li again. I mean Pit will keep calling him Pittoo still to show it’s still in the Uprising setting but it’s better to have a different name so you can tell the two apart. Hades had been defeated and peace had return to all realms, but there were still problems that Pit, captain of the royal bodyguards and Palutena’s most royal servant had to solve. The Goddess of Nature Viridi was now their enemy as she was still trying to wipe out humanity even after the proof that humans can put their differences aside when they see the light of truth in front of them. Pit wasn’t thrilled with having to go up against her given that she helped defeat Hades. Without her, everything would have been destroyed.
With fighting Viridi, he had to fight her assistant Phosphora multiple times to make sure that she didn’t try to wipe out humans as well. It sucks that his Goddess Palutena gave them the chariot during the final battle and now they abused the shit out of it. It made Pit has to retreat a few times and let them win battles.
His twin Dark Pit AKA Pittoo (or he would rather go as Lived Twilight so they could tell each other apart) thought the battle was pointless. Defeating Hades was enough for him and even though he stayed around Viridi given that she was the one giving him the power of flight, he never fought for her side since he thought the humans learned their lesson. The blonde Goddess thought it was annoying that he would talk back to her, but in the end, she never did anything to him because in the end, he was right. The battle between Palutena and Viridi was pointless but they kept going due to Viridi’s stubborn attitude.
Pit was hoping Palutena would come up with a resolution fast. He was already exhausted fighting day by day; his performance becoming more awful with each battle. Whether he won or lost, he would go back to Angel Land (that still needed to be rebuild after what Chaos Kin did) and fall asleep in his bed. When he did though, Hades would plague his dreams, forcing the angel to stay up until the next day when Palutena would send him on another mission. He had no breaks and no one was going to help him with his awful sleep pattern. He would yell at the royal bodyguards for not doing their job during the three years he went missing but it wasn’t just Pit that was in the situation. Every single bodyguard…except Kaguju Martel was thrown into the same horrifying situation where they were trapped in a stationary object unable to get out. Out of all of the royal bodyguards, Pepper probably had the best outcome when it came to being trapped…as she was trapped in her Pokémon Black and White game…that was a dream come true for her. As for Kaguju, he disappeared before a possessed Palutena could even trap him to an inanimate object. Why he didn’t get any help is a huge mystery but he refuses to talk about what happened.
The incident though did make everyone distant though, so in the end, Pit couldn’t ask Himeno Kurumi, the leader of the fourth division and healer to cheer him up. He had to deal with the nightmares alone…but this nightmare…was going to be different from the rest…

He could still remember that incident fresh in his mind. They thought it was going to be the final battle against Hades after a year distraction thanks to Chaos Kin. Pit was prepared to kick his ass with the Three Sacred Treasures that has gotten him through hard times. He would remember Hades blasting the pieces off of his body and then swallowing him shortly afterward. He would remember Hades' voice taunting him while he was inside the god of death…the voice that were telling him to give up and submit as he searched for a way out. The dream always ended up with Pittoo slamming the chariot into Hades' heart and getting him out of there. Despite still escaping in his dreams every single time, it was a horrifying experience he didn’t want to repeat, but his nightmares were always the same…except this time…
Pit woke up in his dream with his trusty bow in hand. He was surrounded by darkness. There was no digestive tract in sight. It worried Pit that things were different…but he could still hear Hades laughter.
“Oh Pitty, let’s play a different game this time.” He could hear Hades' taunt. “Just keep running forward and I’ll show you what game we’ll play this time. Hahaha!”
Pit didn’t trust Hades at all. He never trusted that backstabbing bastard but he ran forward wondering what sick game Hades would try to play this time.
The single path to Hades seemed to be never ending but he kept running. Pit stopped running when he saw Hades sitting down on his thrown staring into Pit’s soul with those evil eyes.
“Took you long enough Pitty. I thought you turned chicken and ran.”
“Hades!” Pit shouted. “Why do you keep coming into my dreams?! I killed you and I don’t want you in them anymore!”
Hades laughed. “Dreams don’t work like that Pitty. Your worse nightmares will always come back and plague your mind. You thought I would leave you alone after you blasted me away? That’s not going to happen.” He chuckled evilly as he had a chain in his hand. Pit didn’t realize that there was a chain there until Hades yanked on it. The chain looked similar to what Chaos Kin looked like. “You know what this is?”
Pit’s eyes widened in horror when he heard a familiar moan coming from the darkness; it was enough for the angel to want to run over to Hades and kill him again with his bare hands.
“Pittoo!”
His dark side was captured by the god of death, wrapped in the body of Chaos Kin like a birthday present. The dark angel was naked and barely awake.
“Uh…Pit…”
“You let him go you bastard!” Pit cursed as he proceeded to rush toward the god of death.
“Not so fast Pitty!”
The angel stopped in his tracks as Hades pulled Li in front of him effectively using him as a shield.
"You…scum!”
“It was rather easy to capture Pitooey.” He announced in a mocking tone. “What’s the point in taking him when I can have you though?”
“What…”
“This is the game.” He smiled victoriously as he gave the command. “You switch places with Pitooey and I’ll spare him from the games I’m going to play.”
“You wouldn’t!”
“You want to test that Pitty?”
Li gasped as he felt Hades’ hand start to invade his private areas. He struggled to get away from his madman but it was worthless as long as Hades had the chain.

“You stop it now Hades!” Pit shouted as he prepared his bow getting ready to shoot the evil god in the head.
“I don’t want to. If I did, I wouldn’t be able to taste something so delicious.” Hades responded in a mocking tone as he licked behind the dark angel’s ear causing Li to shiver. “Pitooey is very sensitive.”

Li couldn't hold onto Pit though because he was still in the chains.
“…Pit…get out of here…he’s tricking…”
It was too late as the chain that was on Li ended up extending out toward him. Chaos Kin wrapped around Pit and ended up electrocuting them both. Both angels screamed in pain as both of them fell to the ground. Hades laughed as he walked toward them.
“You told me to let him go. Well, I did let him go, but I’m not letting him out of the chain.”
“Monster…”

Now that he had to chains in his hand, Hades ended up yanking the chain that had Pit tied to it as he pulled him close. “Ah Pitty, I thought you would be happy to switch places with Pittooey, but I guess nothing makes you satisfied.”
Pit gave the God of the Dead the best glare he could muster. Hades found this amusing as he clasped the angel’s cheek.

With a snap of his fingers, a bed appeared near them. Hades let go of Li’s chain as he forced the white angel on the bed. He laughed again as he tour part of the tunic off the angel. Pit tried not to react when his nipples were exposed to this insane god.

The water woke up instantly causing the angel to realize what just happened. He glanced at his dark half to see he was perfectly fine. Not beaten and bruised by the god of death, not stuck in the chains of Chaos Kin and finally not broken and different like in his dream.
“Pittoo…you’re okay…”
“It’s Li!” The dark angel shouted annoyed at the name given. “We’ve been through this many times. If you guys find it weird to call me Dark Pit then call me by the name I gave myself!”
He’s still the same as usual. Pit thought happily as he looked toward his blanket and frowned. His erection was still very obvious now that water was soaking his bed. Li didn’t seem to notice in the dark though as he was focusing on the Captain.
“You’re an idiot. You’re making Lady Palutena and everyone worry.”

Li tried to leave when Pit called out to him causing him to turn around with his arms folded. “What is it now?”

If Hades is going to keep going after you even after death…that’s fine…because this time, I’ll stick by your side instead of sitting on the sidelines because that old bastard wouldn’t give me a Sacred Weapon.”
The angel chuckled at the last comment as he lent the black angel a cute smile. “Thanks I needed that.”
Li blushed again as he turned away. “Get some sleep, change your sheets and do something about that uprising!” That last one was blurted out and made him uncomfortable as he rushed off closing the door behind him.
The angel looked down to see his cock and frowned.
“I guess I’m going to have to deal with that alone after all…”

Since it’s a spoiler in the game unless you beat it of course, Pit goes through a major break the cutie phrase in chapter 18-21 and gets better by chapter 22 thanks to Li. However, he goes right back in by chapter 23 and really starts to go crazy. Talking to himself? That’s hilarious and all…but then you realize that this is after you realize that Hades broke him in the previous chapters (along with everyone else that just loves to lay the smack down on him) so when you think about it, talking to himself might be more serious when you consider how schizophrenia works…it starts with the breaking process and it gets to the point that when you can’t rely on anyone, you start talking to yourself.
The fact that Hades successfully messed with Pit unlike Dark Pit in the game makes the dream darker. Pit is more prone to stockholm syndrome in comparison to Li who won’t take Hades’ shit and that will backfire when the situation was thrown at him in full force. So the dream manifestation comes from the fact that Hades had successfully broke Pit and shows his state of mind, so if you ignore the whole sexy yaoi moment, it kind of shows how messed up Pit is. Fortunately, Li’s encouraging words will probably allow him to get over it since Pit doesn’t focus on the past for too long.
…Now that is it.
I wasn't happy that this was taken off of FF.Net due to the ToS. I have many stories like this one, yet they're not taken down. It really comes to what the mods can get their hands on, but any story that gets taken down will be moved onto here.
