Across the ocean from Tameriel is a very mysterious land that as inhabited by a race of fierce tribal women warriors since the merethic era. As creations of the Goddesses Kyne, Dibella, and Mara they devout worshippers of all three goddesses. They were also blessed with unique traits from each goddess. A tall, lean, strong physique, increased health, and stamina, a deep connection to nature, and a love for combat from Kyne. Divine phyiscal ageless beauty, their unique anatomy and biology, from Dibella. As well as a love for natural life, and longer life span than most races from Mara. However because of hunting has been an important part of their culture, they’re also followers of Daedric Princes Hircine, and Nocturnal because of the art of stealth being deeply ingrained into their style of warfare. Due to the obvious lack men on this land, the Goddess Dibella decided to bless the Amazons with a unique anatomy. Dibella blessed them with both female and male reproductive and sexual organs. Able to reproduce with either genders of the races of any race. While at same able to give and receive pleasure in ways that no other race can. There's another unique twist to their bodies, no matter what race or gender an Amazon's mate is. The child will always come out the same race as the Amazon mother, while inheriting certain racial traits and benefits from the father's race, such as skin tone, resistance to frost, magic, fire, poison, or magical abilities and so on. Knowing this, and understanding the benefit this ability has on the Amazon race as a whole. The pilgrimage an Amazon's rite of passage into a adulthood a young Amazon is sent to a foreign land, and returns a year later either with new knowledge from the distant land, or with a child or mate from a different race. Becomes a standard tradition among the entire Amazon Nation. This tradition also helps the Amazon Nation to understand the different races and cultures throughout Nirn.
Throughout the centuries many different people have tried to invade and conquer this land. With each invasion ending more or less the same way. The invading force being defeated by the Amazons who's entire culture and way of life is based on combat and warfare, and the survivors ending up prisoners of war. More often than not these prisoners of war, end up assimialting into Amazon society. Then more and more people of different races find their way to the Amazon homeland, either through exploration, more failed attacks, or by simply ending up shipwrecked on their shores. These people eventually ending up assimialting into their society. Giving birth to a more diverse race of Amazons. These Amazons undergo this rite of passage, their temporary stay in a foreign land, exposes them to even more races and cultures. Eventually the Amazon Nation becomes a race with a very wide range of diverse appearances, special abilities, cultures and traditions.
Over time their race became so big that one tribe evolved into many tribes, each tribe divided into clans so risk there's no risk of inbreeding. Some tribes end up resembling nords or atmorans, or redguards, Argonians, Kahjiit, Breton, Imperial, or many other the other elven races. There's even tribes that resemble the human race of Alkavir, and other races not known to Tameriel. Even this doesn't stop a mixture of racial traits, for example an Amazon may have the facial features and skin tone of human race, while also having the pointy ears and magical abilities of an elven race, and visa versa. Each tribe also adopts the gods and goddesses of from their forefathers. Over the years they go from worshipping three Aedra goddesses, and two Daedra deities, to worshipping a vast range of Aedra and Deadra. The female deities being the most prominent, while Kyne, Dibella and Mara remaining the chief deities in the Amazonian Pantheon.
With their numbers easily replenishable among their own kind, and in a land rich in natural resources. The Amazon Nation thrived, but because of their devout worship of Kyne, as well as their appreciation for the beauty of the natural world they get from Dibella they believe that they belong to the land, that they share it with all natural beings, because of this they don’t believe in the concept of land ownership. It’s these same beliefs that caused them to maintain a tribal lifestyle. For over a thousand years while the races of Tameriel war with each other over land, power, and religion, while kingdoms and empires rise and fall. The Amazon Nation has thrived as hunter gatherers who also farm. However, despite being a tribal society they are in no way, shape or form a primitive society. Their understanding of how nature allows them to invent methods of agriculture that repair the soil that they use to grow crops of grains, fruits, vegetables, nuts and beans that aren’t seen in Tameriel. Plus with knowledge they have gained from the sacred pilgrimage, and the races who have assimilated into their society. They have made incredible advances over the centuries, while still holding on to their tribal culture. They also maintain a simple barter and trade system, rather than exchanging coin for goods and services, they simply trade back and forth. Turning many of the older Amazon villages into trading hubs. Where tribes and clans throughout the vast and diverse landscape would come to trade meats, hides, livestock and other goods not readily available in other regions of Amazon country. Which over time had turned these trading hubs into cities. Being a tribal warrior society there is one thing that every tribe values, and that is horses. Horses are such an important part of Amazon culture that the animal is considered sacred. Horses are used for everything from warfare, farming, hunting, to simple traveling. Each tribe has it's own unique breed of horses, horses are more valuable to Amazons than gold or silver. And horses are often traded at these cities.
Any dispute between clans is settled in meeting among clan leaders, and the final decision and method of dealing with the issue is left up to the Queen of the Amazon Nation. Who rises to her position through electoral votes from Council of Tribes. The Queen doesn't rule over the Amazons, she simply acts as leader of the Amazon Nation as a whole. Tribal leaders are chosen by the elders of each clan. Each tribe is governed independently from the other, each tribe has it’s own stories, songs, battle tactics, and its own traditions. While the Nation share the same beliefs, ceremonies, and sisterly bond as a whole. Their constant physical training and combat training, as well hunting, fishing, tending the fields and athletic games. Gives each and every Amazon a greater understanding of warfare, combat, and an incredible athletic physique that's always at its peak physical condition. The Amazon Nation can be considered an advanced tribal society.
One of these Amazons named Eve, is about to embark on her rite of passage into adulthood. Having spent her life since the age of seven to learning the deadly martial arts, one handed and two handed combat weapons, archery, and fighting from horseback. As well as the guerilla war tactics and strategies of her people. She is ready to embark on her pilgrimage to a new land. Where she will experience life outside the Amazon Nation, and return to her people with new wisdom and knowledge, and hopefully with child or mate, or not at all. After receiving blessing from her patron deities Kyne, Dibella, and Mara through the ceremonial dances, as well as blessing from Hircine and Nocturnal through the shaman of her home village.
Eve is sent by raft, with only a few essential supplies, such as clothing, food, water, and her choice of weapons which are the sword and shield, her hunting bow and a quiver of arrows, and her grandmother’s chakram the traditional weapon of her clan. With only these items she is sent to the distant land of Tameriel. Eve eagerly awaits to experience a new land, full of new and strange people. Eve eventually finds her way to the border of Skyrim. Where she’s mistaken for a forsworn by a patrol of imperial soldiers, and arrested near the border of Skyrim. An arrest that cost the lives of thirty five of the fifty imperial troops, if it hadn’t been for the idiots escorting someone by the name of Ulfric Stormcloak getting in her way. She could’ve easily fought off her attackers, and lost them in the woods. But no, because of the stormcloaks and a horse thief, she finds herself stripped of her clothes and weapons, that’s replaced by a gunnysack, and tied up in the back of wagon with a thief, the stormcloaks and their leader.

I've updated this chapter so many times that I've lost count. Every time a new idea for this race comes to mind, I have to put it in, to give the Amazons something unique that sets them apart from the other races in the elder scrolls. The cities, connection to horses, and the part about being an advanced tribal society is the newest update. The cities are far different from those in Skyrim or Oblivion, which are more based on medieval cities. Since I made the Amazons a tribal warrior society, I wanted their cities to seem tribal as well. So when think of Amazon cities, think of something similar to what the Aztecs and Myan cities in Central America, with a touch of ancient Greek architecture, because the Amazons real world connection to Ancient Greece.
