The castle within the Astral Plane had many advantages. An included barracks for everyone to sleep in, as well as a mess hall for eating, fields for farming, and every living arrangement they could think of. However, despite its accommodations, there was no true Training Field, and some of the members of their little adventuring party desperately needed the training.
For instance, Corrin today.
Having sustained a broken arm from a trip through the Dragon’s Gate to terrorize some innocent Faceless who were just enjoying their evening, Corrin had been forced to sit in this timeless realm allowing his arm to recover. He had gone jogging to maintain his fitness, and he had even taken up learning to use the Yato with his non-dominant hand just to balance himself out, but it was a poor substitute.
Now that his hand was freed from his sling, he was eager to get back into the swing of things, so to speak.
At the crack of dawn, Corrin awoke, grabbed some food from the mess hall, and took some time jogging on out toward one of the many exits toward the world gates. Since there was no true training ground, and the world just sort of ended not too far from the edge of the castle, he figured he could just head to one of the known worlds with weaker enemies in them and get himself a workout.
Upon arriving at the portal, however, he found that instead of the large watery surface glowing blue, it instead glowed purple, which meant it was connected to an Outworld.
Who could be out on their own at this hour? he wondered. Obviously he was on his way out to train, but everyone else seemed to just be waking up. Even Rinkah, who had that glorious washboard to maintain, didn’t seem to favor mornings as training time. Corrin had seen her practically swallowing breakfast fruits in the mess hall when he had gotten himself something lighter.
Since he couldn’t just redirect the portal while it was still open, he figured it likely had monsters in it to do battle against anyway. After all, the portals only connected to known worlds at the moment, and all the known worlds had monsters in them somewhere.
Corrin hefted Yato onto his shoulder, and stepped inside, feeling the cool surface wash over him. As he stepped out into this other world, he discovered that he had stepped into a large enclosure not unlike their castle. The walls weren’t much more than logs lashed together, but they were tall, there was a gate on each wall, and inside this makeshift fort, the ground was overturned and trampled down, making for a firm earthen surface.
Huh. This looks like a proper training ground, Corrin observed. There were weapon racks, a mini stable, practice dummies, archery targets at a roped-off area, even a separate roped off square resembling a boxing ring. Off in a corner, there was even a shack with what appeared to be a bed inside of it, too. Who made this?
“Corrin?” came a familiar voice from up above, as well as a sudden gust of air downward. Wincing as the gust kicked up dust and earth around him, Corrin looked up to see Hinoka riding her pegasus above him, about thirty feet up, carrying her naginata and looking surprised. “What are you doing here?”
“Could ask you the same thing,” Corrin shrugged. “Did you build this place?”
“Me and Ryoma, yeah,” she nodded, grinning proudly. “Needed a place to practice while you were off moaning about your arm.”
“I wasn’t moaning,” Corrin frowned, stepping aside as Hinoka began to swing herself off of her pegasus, thus making room for her to land without crushing him.
She jumped, falling for only a split second with her scarf flying behind her, before twirling her naginata fast enough to slow her descent, and landing on her feet with a grunt, her knees flexing under her.
Corrin let out an appreciative whistle. “Doesn’t seem like it’s physically possible.”
Hinoka grinned. “It’s not. Well, not in our world, anyway,” she shrugged.
“And I thought landing on one knee was the best way to do it,” Corrin noted, as Hinoka stabbed her naginata into the ground and began dusting herself off.
“Terrible idea,” Hinoka shook her head. “Your knees absorb the shock of landing because they’re meant to flex. You hit the ground on a knee, that could break the bone and cripple you. I learned that one the hard way,” she added with a grimace, before reaching down to slide the top of one of her red boots down just enough so Corrin could see some discoloration on her lower knee at the point of impact. “Was lying in the bed in that shack for hours,” she shook her head, blushing. “Normally I take naps in the thing, but now I kinda hate it after spending almost the whole day lying in it while my broken knee healed. Anyway, as you can see, the bruise hasn’t completely healed yet.”
“Why haven’t you had Sakura or Felicia heal it the rest of the way, sis? Or even at the beginning?” Corrin asked, giving her a concerned look. “How long have you had this?”
“About three weeks,” she shrugged again. “Orochi helped me out. Ryoma went and got her to make me a potion that healed me about as well as it could, but I had to let nature do the rest. Didn’t want Sakura worrying, you know how she can get,” she added, seeing the look on his face.
“Wait,” Corrin frowned. “If you could have Orochi heal your broken knee with a potion, why couldn’t she heal my arm?”
“Your arm was broken for several hours before we got back to the castle. My knee was broken for less than an hour before Ryoma came back with her. Time matters.”
She yawned and stretched. Corrin couldn’t help but admire how Hinoka looked in the morning sun. Not as well-endowed or curvy as Camilla, but that wasn’t to say she was ugly. Far from it. Those fiery eyes, the look on her face when she wanted something, her short red hair, her long smooth legs--
No, stop that brain. Bad thoughts.
He was already aware that Hinoka wasn’t his sister by birth; he and Ryoma had discussed his mother several times, and it had eventually come up in conversation that he was not King Sumeragi’s son, nor Hinoka Lady Mikoto’s daughter. Nevertheless, it was still hard to think of her otherwise, even if he hadn’t known her nearly as long as he had Camilla, Elise, Xander, and Leo.
“What?”
Corrin blinked. He’d been staring. Fortunately, he’d somehow found himself staring at her naginata instead.
“Oh, nothing,” he shook his head. “I just came out here to get some work on my arm done. Get back into the swing of things, you know?”
“That was a bad pun,” she replied, giving him a flat look.
“It’s early,” Corrin replied with a shrug in response. “I’m here to train, not crack jokes.”
“I can help you with that,” she smiled, hefting the naginata. “I know you wanted to whack it to dummies all day--”
“Can you please phrase that a different way?”
“--but nothing beats going up against an actual person. Get you thinking on your feet.”
“Can you seriously please rephrase what you just said a moment ago?”
“What,” Hinoka smirked, “you don’t like beating off a bunch of dummies?”
Corrin groaned, burying his face in his hands. Hinoka, meanwhile, laughed, before giving him a bump. “Just teasing you, Corrin. You always make the most adorable faces when you’re flustered.”
“Can we… can we please just start training now?”
“Sure thing,” Hinoka chirped, patting him on the head, before trotting away. Her pegasus had flown down and was grazing in the grass outside, barely visible through a slight crack in the fence. Once over on a section of flattened earth, she began twirling her naginata while she waited for him to approach.
He did so cautiously. Was she going to spar against him? Maybe training against spears was a good idea. Force him to adapt to fighting against a practitioner with a weapon that (theoretically) was supposed to have an advantage over swords and katana.
“Don’t worry, I’ll go easy on you,” she smiled in a predatory way. “Just want to get you moving again, right?”
“Uhh, right,” he nodded, feeling nervous all of a sudden. Hinoka could get a bit… into it during battles. He was certainly hoping that wasn’t the case today, he didn’t want another broken arm after just coming back from this one.
Though maybe Orochi could heal it this time.
“Now then,” Hinoka swung her naginata in front of her in a defensive stance, “try and hit me.”
“Just hit you?” Corrin blinked.
“Just hit me,” Hinoka confirmed, spinning the naginata in her hands for a brief moment while she waited for him to strike. “I know, naginata users aren’t exactly your specialty, but that’s the point. Wanna make you work.”
“Thanks, sis,” Corrin sighed, rubbing at his face with his free hand, before he assumed a ready stance as well, sword held behind him pointed downward, and his dragon arm raised in front of him.
“No dragon attacks,” added Hinoka quickly, eyeing his prepared hand.
“Well, yeah,” Corrin frowned. “Why would I? I don’t want to hurt you, sis.”
“In the heat of the battle, you never know what you’ll do,” Hinoka glanced away. “Instinct and reflex take over. Let’s just keep things a little light today, alright?”
“Can do.” Corrin nodded. Hinoka resumed her ready stance, and Corrin leapt forward.
“A little light”, it turned out, was relative. Most of Corrin’s body was still in fighting shape, so jumping around, dodging Hinoka’s jabs, and lunging in to try and get a nick or two, all of that was easy for him to do. However, the fact that he was doing it at all meant that he really needed to up his training game if this was what Hinoka considered a light training routine. She was indeed making him work, dodging gracefully, trapping his sword on the ground with the butt of her naginata, giving his exposed body parts some light taps with her weapon as well to remind him to close up his defenses, and most importantly, she was making him use his weakened sword arm.
He was having to slash and guard, swipe and block, stab and parry, sometimes only by millimeters, as she made sure to really test his defenses. It didn’t take long for him to work up a sweat, yet she looked as clean and fit as ever, her short red hair dancing in the wind as she deftly bent to avoid a cut toward her right shoulder.
Yet even though she would occasionally lightly give him a knock, she continued to not actually attack.
Dammit, sis, Corrin mentally growled as another avenue of attack was thwarted by a timely block with the haft of her naginata. His fingers were starting to feel numb, and his arm muscles, having spent months resting, were now feeling the effects of their lack of exercise. Every sword motion was pain and soreness, now. The rest of his body was still fit as a fiddle, but not this arm. No, this arm was really letting him know it was about ready to call it a day.
Finally, after yet another attempt to tag her failed, Yato slipped out of his fingers, and he hunched over with a winded breath.
“You finished?” she asked, walking over.
Corrin nodded tiredly, his free hand wiping his face to clean it of sweat. Now that she was closer, he could see that she had definitely been working. Her face was flushed, her breathing was rushed, and the roots of her hair were damp.
“Made you work, at least,” Corrin smiled. “Guess that’s something.”
“Well, I wasn’t gonna make it easy for you,” she teased, giving him a playful bump. “Wanna get cleaned up? There’s a hot spring not far from here. Great place to wash.”
Sure,” he sighed, but then he paused. “Wait. I didn’t bring swimming clothes.”
“Just wear your smallclothes, that's what I do, and I’m pretty sure Ryoma too, whenever he’s out here.”
She then punctuated her statement by stripping out of her Sky Knight attire, leaving her clad only in a red brassiere and red shorts that only made it about an inch or so down her thigh. Very little was left to Corrin’s imagination as he got an unwanted eyeful of his adopted sister in her undergarments.
Her arms and legs were already open to his eye, outside of what her boots covered, but her stomach was, somehow, enticing in the best ways. Not a hint of fat, nothing but lean muscle, with a defined set of abdominals that, while not even close to comparing with Rinkah’s, were still quite toned and seemed to perfectly frame her navel.
Though, to his surprise, despite the suddenly-revealing attire she was wearing, Hinoka’s undergarments weren’t nearly as revealing as Camilla’s. Hinoka’s seemed like they were designed with physical work in mind, holding tight to her body and hugging her upper torso and hips quite closely. Camilla’s, on the other hand, had left practically nothing to his imagination, and she’d always found excuses to tease him wearing nothing else from time to time.
Secretly, those occasions had helped him through many a lonely night. This one probably would too. He’d already thought of her many times, in the last few months, but this would give him more first-hand experience.
“D-don’t stare,” Hinoka blushed, recoiling slightly and shifting her arm reflexively to cover up.
“Why’d you strip down in front of me, then?” Corrin asked, bemused.
Hinoka scowled. “I thought we were going to the hot spring.”
“I thought I was going alone,” Corrin replied, still feeling very bemused.
“It’s a big hot spring,” she huffed, crossing her arms. “If you want a little alone time to clean up, you have plenty of room. Hell, if you want to wear your armor when you get in, you can do that too,” she added, glancing up and down his body. “Wouldn’t recommend it, though.”
Corrin just let out a heavy sigh. “Fine, let’s go, then.”
Hinoka nodded, and turned around, reading him toward a nearby grove of bamboo shoots, on the other side of which was a large steaming pool of water. It wasn’t a huge pool, but it was still large enough for about eight or nine people to have plenty of room to move around inside. There wouldn’t be privacy, but Hinoka wasn’t lying when she said there would be space.
“Ta-daaaa~~,” Hinoka did a mock flourish. “A hot spring fit for a Hoshidan prince. Or two. Or three if we ever get Takumi out here. See you inside,” she added, before dashing forward, leaping up into the air, and landing in the springs with a rather spectacular splash. Corrin just sighed at his older sister’s antics, before hesitantly stripping down to his underwear.
He hadn’t planned on getting into a hot spring today, or else he would have brought actual swimming gear with him. Instead, all he had were his knickers, which did well to preserve his modesty. Tentatively, he dipped a toe in the spring, and finding it to his liking, then a whole foot. Finally, he went ahead and just stepped right in, sighing as the hot water immediately began to soothe his tired muscles.
“Sooooo?” Hinoka swam over, before turning onto her back and lazily floating along, “Whaddya think?”
“It’s nice,” Corrin admitted, swimming over to the side, where it looked as though seating had been cut into the rock that made up the side of the pool. “Water’s really refreshing. Azura would love it out here, I think. Did you and Ryoma make this too?”
Hinoka frowned at the mention of Azura, but only for a moment.
“Sorta,” she followed him over, sitting next to him as he settled in on the stone bench. “The spring was already here. Ryoma and I just shaped it a little. Made it wider, shallower, more accommodating for tired people after training, that whole thing. Some good work, if I say so myself.”
“You both did a good job,” Corrin smiled, giving her a nudge back. “You and Ryoma both should be proud. This will make an excellent place for us all to train.”
“That was the plan,” Hinoka beamed. “It’s as good a place as any for you to come beat off some dummies, am I right?”
Corrin let out an annoyed groan at that one, sliding into the water until it was up to his neck. “Why must you insist on tormenting me?”
“‘Cuz it’s fun to watch you get flustered,” Hinoka replied with a mischievous glint in her eyes. “You’re always so confident and so sure of yourself, and so caring. It’s nice to see you’re human like the rest of us.”
Corrin wordlessly gestured toward the pointed ears.
“Well, mostly human,” Hinoka amended with a slight blush.
“But why, though?” Corrin pressed, sitting up straight again. “Why do you think it’s fun to watch me get flustered?”
“Corrin, if you want me to stop, I can stop,” Hinoka’s smile disappeared, in favor of a more concerned look. “Is it that big of a problem?”
Corrin leaned back, running both of his hands through his hair. The warm water felt soothing as it trickled down to his back.
“It’s just… the masturbation jokes do get under my skin. I don’t mind the other teasing-- if I did, I would have told you by now-- but… for whatever reason, I just never saw the appeal in them. Maybe I just need to try cracking one.”
He sighed again, before giving his healed sword arm some rotations. Beside him, Hinoka was staring at him in confusion.
“It’s kind of nice being back to full strength. With my dominant arm at full strength, maybe I can now polish my sword much better now.”
Hinoka stared at him, the confusion replaced with surprise. After a moment, though, she snorted, and then threw her head back and openly began to guffaw.
“Not bad, Corrin!” she elbowed him, before she suddenly clasped his far shoulder and playfully thumped his chest with her fist. “You should crack sex jokes more often! It’s extra-funny coming from you!”
For whatever reason, Hinoka’s touch, with them sharing a moment of bonding clad only in their undergarments, made Corrin’s skin tingle. He blushed. Thankfully, it was getting rather warm in the pool, so he could easily blame it on the hot spring.
“So,” Hinoka leaned back against the stone bench, “Corrin, you got your eyes on any of the ladies around the camp?”
“Wh-what?” Corrin sat up, feeling his senses go on high alert. Was his sister really prying into his dating life?
“You got the hots for any of our partners?” she rephrased, giving him another mischievous smile, though Corrin noticed there was… something else in her eyes. The playfulness didn’t seem to be reflected in them. Only… nervousness?
“Uhh…” he shrunk down. “I’ve… never really thought about it.”
“You mean to tell me you haven’t thought of any of us on one of those lonely nights up in your tree house?” she pressed.
“Alright, no more of them, please,” he threw up his hands. “Getting real nosy about my dating life, and then you crack yet another joke about me self-relieving,” Hinoka had gone from playful to guilty in an instant, “so please, if you want to know stuff about me, can you just ask me straight instead of deflecting it with yet another joke about me finding a nice quiet spot and--”
A warm hand covered his mouth, cutting him off. Corrin glanced over to see Hinoka looking away, the guilty look magnifying.
“Sorry, Corrin,” she said quietly. “I… really do want to get to know you more, but… “ she grimaced, “I’m… not good at the whole feelings thing. Growing up with Ryoma, we would joke around like this all the time.”
Corrin reached up and gently took hold of Hinoka’s hand, leading it down back into the water, though he didn’t let go.
“No, I’m sorry,” he shook his head. “You’re trying to connect with me the way you do with him, and it’s not working the same. I appreciate that you’re trying, but I’m not being mindful of that.”
“This is what I’m talking about, though,” she pulled her hand out of his, giving him an angry look, though Corrin could tell it wasn’t directed at him. “You do this… this thing where you’re really nice and caring, and genuinely try to meet people in their comfort zone, and it’s all i see because I know you’re that good a person. And I also know there’s more to you than that, so I try to get you to show it, and all it does is annoy you!” she punctuated that by slamming her fist into the water, the splash washing over him slightly. “I just… want to see more of you than just the perfect version of you everyone else sees.”
“Why, though?” Corrin asked, shifting to face her more fully. “Why do you want to see the other sides of me? I’m not going to pretend like I’m a perfect person, because I’m not. I don’t want people to see that side of me because I hate that part of me. It was the part King Garon was feeding. A love of battle, a desire to kill and conquer, things I’m glad I can keep down.”
“You’re not like that though,” now she grabbed his hand, meeting his eyes with a determined look. “I know you, Corrin. You may think that’s what you are because of your time in Nohr, but I’ve seen the real you. I just want to see every part of the real you.”
“But why though?” he pressed back.
She tensed, and that nervousness was back, and seemed worse than ever. But after a short moment, she took a deep breath, and let it out slowly.
“Because I love you, Corrin.”
Corrin felt his mouth part slightly. She… she loves me?
Hinoka looked away, her blush growing more and more intense each second. “I don’t know when I fell in love with you all over again, but I’ve known for several weeks now. Back when you still lived with us, I had feelings for you too, but I didn’t know it at the time,” she admitted with a small humorless smile. “Mother left me a letter, telling me to open it if I ever was worried about the one I loved, but I never knew what she meant until I realized that.”
She closed her eyes, edging away from him ever so slightly.
“I was the one who asked Ryoma to come tell you the truth about Mother. I thought… I dunno, maybe if you knew I wasn’t your sister, you’d look at me differently?” she glanced back at him, a pleading look in her eyes, before she turned away again. “I know I’m not…curvy or developed like your sister in Nohr, or as muscular as Rinkah, or anything else. I know I’m not pretty,” she admitted, her shoulders slumping as she stared down in the pool with a forlorn expression. “But I thought maybe I could…”
“Hinoka?”
Hinoka glanced back at him, her confident red eyes now on the verge of crying.
Corrin leaned forward, turned her to face him, and kissed her.
The action startled Hinoka, who tensed the moment his lips made contact with hers, but after a long moment, he felt her relax with a soft sigh, and one of her hands took hold of the back of his head and pulled him deeper into the kiss.
He wasn’t experienced by any stretch, not that Camilla hadn’t tried to “give him some practice”, and for that matter, neither did Hinoka seem like she knew what she was doing. But it didn’t matter to him. This moment, this wonderful, timeless moment where hidden feelings were finally brought to the surface, this was worth everything.
After a moment, they separated. The kiss had been chaste, but it still left them both breathless. She rested her forehead against his, their breath intermingling, and she stared into his eyes with a combination of tenderness, warmth, and disbelief.
“But… I thought…” she whispered, still holding to the back of his neck. “I thought it had to be someone else.”
“I just said there wasn’t anyone else I was looking at,” Corrin replied.
“But… I mean, I thought you liked y’know, more feminine girls. Like Sakura, or Orochi, or Oboro.” She clutched at her elbows as though she were ashamed of something. “I’m… not. Oboro loves to do peoples’ hair, Orochi likes to make perfumes, and Sakura’s… well, Sakura. Meanwhile I’m over here riding a pegasus and spinning naginatas and dashing into battle...”
“That’s what I like about you,” Corrin gripped her hand under the water again. “You’re strong, and you aren’t afraid to show it, or use it to protect others.”
“But I-I’m not… pretty!” she protested.
“No,” he shook his head. “You’re beautiful.”
Tears sprang to her eyes the moment he said that, and she buried her head into his shoulder, hugging him close and sobbing. Corrin embraced her, letting her cry as much as she needed. Feelings may not have been her strong suit, but everyone needed an outlet, and he certainly wasn’t going to abandon Hinoka after a moment so tender, and a realization so personal.
When had he fallen for her? Had he always felt this way? Maybe he had, and he had just needed to see how attractive she was without the armor to make him truly realize it. Maybe that was why he tolerated all of her teasing, up to a point. Anything he could do to make her happy.
She sniffled, shook her head slightly, and rubbed her nose. “S-sorry for crying all over your chest,” she sniffed.
“Don’t,” he took her hand reassuringly. “I’m here for you, Hinoka. I may not always have been, but I always will be.”
He barely finished his sentence before she kissed him this time, and she wasted no time in deepening it, pulling him as close as she could, even straddling him and hooking her legs around his back.
Corrin let her take charge. There was never any doubt of that.
Hinoka kissed him hungrily, separating for brief seconds to catch her breath before diving right back in. Corrin was more than happy to let her do as she wished, even snaking one hand into her red hair, and placing another on her hip to hold her close.
She separated finally with a gasp, before resting her shin against his shoulder and pressing her cheek against his.
“You have no idea how long I’ve wanted to do this,” she sighed dreamily, squeezing him for the briefest of seconds, as though she were afraid he’d vanish.
“I can imagine,” Corrin smiled.
“I’ve literally dreamed about it,” she clutched him tight again. “W-well… “ she turned away, and out of the corner of his eye, he could see that she was going red, “this and… other stuff…”
“Other stuff,” Corrin shifted, snorting. “You mean--”
“Y-yeah,” she went even more red. “Sex.”
Corrin chuckled. “Always so blunt, Hinoka.”
“Sh-shut up!” she bopped his shoulder, but she couldn’t help a sheepish grin herself. “It’s not like I practice telling you this or anything!”
“I’m not laughing at you,” he gave her a reassuring hug. “Well, not laughing at you maliciously. It’s just funny. We’re having a moment, and you’re still being you.”
“Who else would you want me to be?” she asked, smirking.
“Absolutely no one,” he replied, grinning toothily at her. “Your straight-forwardness is something else I love about you. No beating around the bush. And don’t you say a thing,” he added as she opened her mouth to make yet another crude joke.
She giggled.
“You know me too well.”
She kissed him again, a bit more chastely this time, before she began to clamber out of the water.
“I think we’ve soaked enough. Frankly, I’m ready for a nap.”
“It’s still early in the morning,” Corrin pointed out, cocking his head. “I haven’t even been awake longer than a couple of hours.”
“Y-yeah, but… we’ve done training.”
“And we’re in a relaxing hot spring.”
Hinoka sighed. “Corrin, I’m trying to find an excuse to get us into bed together in the shack. Work with me here.”
“Oh, you’re trying to seduce me,” Corrin chuckled. “Carry on, then.”
Hinoka sighed and shook her head. “You know what? Moment’s ruined. Corrin, let’s go back to the shack so you can lay me down on the bed…”
“Go on…”
“Take off my last bits of clothing…”
“Mm-hm?”
“...and fuck me so hard they can hear it in all the other Outworlds?”
Corrin snorted. “We’re not gonna fuck, Hinoka, let’s make that clear. We’re gonna make love, I hope you know.”
“What’s the difference?” Hinoka actually stepped out now and started wiping herself off, though without a proper towel, it was a little difficult.
“I wanna look into your eyes, I want to make you feel good. I want us to grow closer while we do it. Not just… y’know, get each other off.” Corrin blushed. Hinoka wasn’t a sap, but he was, and he knew it, and she knew it, and they both knew each other knew. But it really was what he wanted with a partner. Closeness and intimacy.
Hinoka blushed too, clutching her elbows again. “Geez, you, uhh… you have dream-seeing powers or something?”
“No…” Corrin decided now was as good a time as any to follow her out of the spring, if they really were going to do this. “Why?”
“I, uhh… was kinda hoping that’s what you’d wanna do.” Her face was now as red as her hair.
“So, let me get this straight,” he stepped up beside her. “You wanted me to… how did you say it? Lay you down, take off your clothes, and make love to you?”
“P-pretty much,” and somehow, she went even more red. “It’s dumb, I know, and really sappy, but--”
Corrin reached down, swept her feet away, and caught her in his arms. Hinoka let out a startled gasp, and even after she landed, she seemed quite surprised. Maybe because Corrin had actually done something bold? “Then let’s not wait any longer, shall we?”
With that, leaving his clothes behind, he carried a blushing Hinoka, nestling herself further and further into his arms, back toward the training grounds. He passed through the gate, passed Hinoka’s discarded clothing, pushed open the door to the shack with his shoulder, revealing its insides to them both, and stepped inside.
The bed was simple, but it looked quite sturdy, and the mattress on it looked adequate. There was literally nothing else in the room except a wooden T-shape, likely to hang or drape clothes on, but they had no need for it.
Corrin lay Hinoka on the bed, who stared up at him breathlessly. Corrin met her slightly-embarrassed look with a tender one of his own, before reaching back with a hand that transformed into an elongated dragon claw, and shut the door.
Hinoka snickered.
“Couldn’t take your eyes off’a me long enough to shut the door?”
“Why would I?” Corrin asked, before darting forward and giving her a brief kiss. “I have the ability, why not use it?”
Before she could answer, he gently slid her back on the bed until she was positioned with her head near the back of it, and crawled onto it, above her. They stared into each others’ eyes, before Hinoka couldn’t wait any longer. She reached up and yanked him down into her, kissing him again, and this time, nothing was held back.
It didn’t take long for her lips to open and her tongue to poke out, trying to coax his own into a dance between them, a dance which Corrin was only too happy to enter with her.
At first, the dance was tentative. The partners nervously reached out and touched, before retreating. Their courtship was cautious, each touch measured, but before long, they were dancing quite passionately, wrestling and pushing and enhancing the pleasure and closeness felt by their owners, while said owners embraced each other all the tighter, basking in the intimacy.
The separated, heavily breathing, blushing, and eyes half-lidded as they stared into each other’s.
“Corrin,” whispered Hinoka, holding her arms over her chest nervously.
“I’m here,” he replied, sitting up to give her space.
Hinoka lay still for several seconds, before slowly, she slipped an arm through her bra, and began to pull it off over her head. As soon as it came to her shoulder on one, she slipped the other through, and finally pulled it free, laying exposed before him.
“They’re not… the biggest,”she admitted, holding her hands just below her modest bust, as though she both wanted to cover up and not at the same time.
“They’re perfect,” Corrin assured her with a warm smile. Sure, they weren’t anywhere near the size of Camilla’s or Rinkah’s, but that was to be expected. Hinoka was a being most at home in the sky, and her lithe figure exemplified that.
“You don’t have to make me feel better,” she mumbled.
“I’m not,” Corrin replied, replied, taking one of her hands, pulling it up to his mouth, and beginning to kiss his way down her arm. “Just being honest,” he added, before kissing near her elbow and continuing.
When he reached her collarbone, he decided to give her a little nip. Leave a nice little mark there that would be visible in the gap between her pauldrons and her tunic, something for everyone to see, evidence that she belonged to someone.
It just so happened, he had chanced upon a particularly sensitive spot.
“Aah!” she gasped, her hands shooting to the back of his head. “C-Corrin!”
“You okay?”
“Y-yeah,” she nodded, still breathing heavily. “Keep doing that.”
“Can do,” he nodded, before giving her collarbone another bite. He lingered there for a few seconds, enjoying how every time he bit just a little bit harder, she would gasp and clutch him tight again. In short order, he’d marked her with a small purple bruise right where it would be visible even when she was wearing her usual attire, and he continued his way down.
Her bust was the perfect size, he felt. Large enough for him to hold each one of her breasts in his hand, but small enough to not be oversized. They weren’t nearly large enough to sway and jiggle with every movement, but they still had plenty of motion to them, as he found when he cupped one and gave it a squeeze. Hinoka let out a tiny moan at that, tensing up, but holding his hand over it with one of her own.
“You’re really sensitive,” Corrin noted as he began to more directly rub at one of her nipples, which caused her legs to twitch underneath him.
“N-not used to… being touched.”
“Let’s see what other sensitivities I can find,” he gave her nipple a pinch, which got her to let out a pleasured groan. “Like that?”
“Y-yeah. More.”
He obliged, and began to be a bit rougher with her now, pinching a bit more forcefully, and even pulling at them. This got her to start shifting and letting out more obvious noises. Down below, Corrin could see a dark spot begin to stain her shorts, and a slight musky scent began to waft in the air.
“Getting a little excited,” he teased.
Hinoka blushed again.
“Sh-shut up,” she mumbled., Corrin snickered.
“You’re just too adorable, ‘Noka,” he muttered, just loud enough for her to hear, before he darted down and kissed her again.
While their tongues renewed the dance, Corrin reached down and began to prod the spot between her legs where the darkness was spreading. The warmth radiated off of it, he could even feel how warm she was before he touched her. She sucked in a breath, sensing that Corrin’s hand was close, and the moment he made contact, Hinoka let out another gasp, her legs clenching around his hand.
“A-ah! Corrin!”
He simply kissed her again, and then set to work, pressing against the warm wetness with more intensity. Hinoka’s twitches became more frequent as he began to stroke, and the warmth and wetness only grew with each passing second.
Then, he brushed closer to the top, and she twitched again, breaking away to let out a cry.
“Ahn!”
Corrin pulled back, alarm shooting through him. “Hinoka! Did I hurt you?”
Hinoka panted on the bed, a dreamy smile spreading across her face. “N-no, I’m fine, Corrin. You just found my…”
“Your what?”
Hinoka let out a shaky breath, before she reached down, hooked her fingers around the lip of her shorts, and pushed. Corrin sucked in a breath of his own, feeling all the blood rush to the south as inch by inch, her glistening flower was revealed.
It was like a little flower, with two delicate petals on either side, soft pink insides just peeking out past her lower lips, puffy red skin all around it, and tiny beads of arousal glimmering in the morning light. There was a small patch of hair above it, trimmed but not styled by any stretch. He couldn’t tell how often Hinoka kept it down to size, but ultimately it didn’t matter.
“Is it… okay?”
“Hm?” Corrin looked up at Hinoka, to see she was blushing again.
“You’re staring,” she said softly. “Is it… bad?”
“No!” Corrin exclaimed, kissing her reassuringly. “It’s perfect.”
“I-I can shave it--”
“‘Noka!” he silenced her with a finger to her lips. “It’s perfect.”
She stared at him for several seconds, before nodding slowly. Corrin wasn’t convinced, though. Hinoka would stubbornly refuse to accept his words alone. Action was needed.
He began to kiss his way down her body, starting under her neck, trailing his lips between her breasts, taking a brief detour to give her nipples a light nibble each. As he neared her treasure, she began to grow more and more impatient, which only caused him to slow down all the more, further teasing her.
Then, when he was mere centimeters away from her wetness, he changed course, kissing his way down her thigh instead.
“Corriiiiin!” she whined.
He did not oblige her. Instead, he switched legs.
“S-stop teasing me,” she huffed.
“Alright, alright,” he snickered. “No more teasing.”
With that, he leaned in. Her musk was overpowering, and before his eyes, he could see that more and more of her arousal was starting to drip from her lower lips, and it only seemed to be getting more and more wet with each passing second.
So he leaned in, he stuck out his tongue, and he dragged it up.
“C-CORRIN!” Hinoka squealed, hands shooting down to grab fistfuls of his hair. Corrin leaned back and let the taste of Hinoka’s essence wash over his tongue. It tasted the tiniest bit metallic, with hints of saltiness mixed in as well, no doubt the sweat from their training earlier, or perhaps the hot springs were salted as well?
In any case, Corrin found it to his liking, so he dove in, causing Hinoka to cry out and grip his hair all the tighter as he devoured her flower. He nibbled every so often, flicked his tongue toward the fleshy nub at the top that really seemed to get a reaction out of her, or just leaned back and blew, but for the most part, Corrin simply licked away at her core, as though he were trying to drink away every last bit of Hinoka’s essence that he could.
“Co… Corr’n” Hinoka moaned lazily as he continued in his ministrations. “Ah!”
“How is it?” he asked, lifting his head to look at her. She had her head tilted back, her breast heaving, but she lifted herself up to look at him through clouded eyes.
“W-wow,” she sighed, reaching a hand back to brush her hair. “I’ve never felt a-anything like that bef-fore.”
“Well, that’s not even the best part,” he said, before climbing up and leaning down over her, the head of his rod guided into place with his hand, until it met her sopping entrance. The moment they touched, she let out a quiet hiss, but her eyes never left his own.
“Are you ready?” he asked softly, reaching a hand up to cup her cheek.
Hinoka nodded, an expression of determination on her face. “Do it.”
With that, Corrin pushed forward, feeling more of himself slip inside of her. It was the warmest, wettest, most amazing thing he could ever remember feeling. However, the further he slid in, the more confused he got. It was absolutely the most amazing thing he’d ever felt, but...
“What’s with the dopey expression?” Hinoka reached up and gave him a light shove. “Is it really that good?” She punctuated it with a quick squeeze, which elicited a moan from Corrin.
“I thought… isn’t there…?” he replied, still reveling in the feeling.
“Oh, my hymen?” Hinoka asked, before giggling. “They don’t work like that. Why? Did your Nohrian brothers teach you uninformed things about women?”
“No!” Corrin protested. “...yes,” he admitted.
Despite the moment, Hinoka let out a guffaw.
“You’re just so adorable.”
Corrin, getting a little tired of this, thrust himself the rest of the way in, fully enveloping himself in her depths.
“Aaah!” Hinoka yelped, reaching up and clutching at him. “W-warn me next time!” she scolded him, pouting.
“No,” Corrin grinned, leaning down and pecking her nose, which caused her to flinch, before he began to pull himself back. Hinoka hissed, her insides clenching as though they were trying to pull him back in. Corrin only pulled out just a little bit, before he thrust himself back in, just enough so that his hips and Hinoka’s met.
“Tch!” Hinoka grit her teeth and clenched her thighs. “Feels good,” she grunted.
Corrin nodded, heeling his freshly-washed hair start to slicken with sweat again from this work. He pulled out and thrust in again, and again was met with another moan from Hinoka. He did it again, and again was met with Hinoka’s voice. And again, and again, and again. They were slow, but each one brought something new, be it a new feeling, or a new sound, or even just a new closeness between them.
He sped up. This brought even more sounds from Hinoka, and even more euphoria. She was clawing at his back now as he lost himself to the rhythm. There was no pain, only this wonderful feeling.
As he continued to thrust away, a familiar pressure began to build up.
“‘Noka… I’m close…” he gasped as his thrusts grew more and more erratic as he started failing to control himself. “Where--”
“Ins-side!” she answered. “I’m close! Keep going!”
He was able to contain himself for just a few more thrusts, but as he did, Hinoka’s walls began to spasm under him, and they shredded the last bit of resistance he had.
“G-GAH!” he finally let out, and he climaxed. He felt control slip away, and he released, sending spurt after spurt of his essence into Hinoka’s depths. As she felt it, she too cried out, clutching at Corrin’s back as her insides tightened around him, milking him for every last drop.
After an eternity of bliss, Corrin finally felt the pleasure recede, and suddenly overwhelmed with his fatigue, he collapsed, managing to fall beside Hinoka, both of them panting heavily.
He didn’t know how long they lay there, panting, sweating, and basking in the afterglow. Their hands remained joined, and they idly traced each other’s fingers with their thumbs, as if reassuring each other they were still there.
“That…” Hinoka mumbled, “that was…”
“Yeah,” Corrin nodded weakly, leaning his head over to touch hers. “It was…”
They rested some more, wordlessly cuddling into each other, Corrin wrapping an arm around her midsection to pull her close. She cooed, before pressing herself against him and letting him hold her.
“How long do you think we’re out here before people start looking for us?” she asked.
“Who cares?” Corrin answered, giving her a loving squeeze. “Not like I’m keeping this private.”
Hinoka snorted. “You wanna phrase that a little differently?”
“Not particularly,” he replied, grinning. “Payback for all the teasing earlier.”
Hinoka chuckled. “So,” she asked, slipping out of his arms. “Up for round two? You haven’t made me scream loud enough for everyone in the castle to hear it yet.”
“That can be arranged,” Corrin, sat up, feeling his manhood start to grow erect again. “Wanna see who can make the other cum the most?”
Hinoka smirked. “You’re on,” she said, before pushing him down to the bed.
Ryoma stepped through the portal carrying Raijinto within its sheath as he made for the training ground, with Scarlet in tow behind him.
“Ah, so this is where you’ve spent all your time the last few weeks,” Scarlet chuckled. “Off in your own personal training ground.”
“Actually,” Ryoma smiled, “Hinoka and I were building it. Seeing as how the castle doesn’t have one, we figured it’d be a good place for Corrin to get himself back up to full strength in that broken arm of his, and help anyone else lagging behind in the party train.”
“I see.”
As they grew close to the training grounds, however, they started hearing sounds they did not expect. Slaps and moans, both of which seemed to be coming from the direction of the small shack they’d built in the corner.
“What’s that?” Scarlet readied her spear.
Ryoma frowned, before his nose caught an unmistakable scent in the air.
“It would seem that two of our compatriots are using this facility for a tryst, as opposed to training,” he said, though his amusement outweighed his annoyance. “I wonder who…”
“I’m close, Corrin…!”
“Me too, ‘Noka!”
Those voices were certainly unmistakable as well. As were, now he noticed it, the pile of Hinoka’s discarded clothing off to the side of the training ground.
He smiled appreciatively.
“I think we’d best put off today’s training until later, Miss Scarlet,” he turned around. Scarlet looked completely nonplussed, but she returned her spear to her shoulder when he started heading back toward the Outrealm portal.
“What’s going on?”
“Hinoka and Corrin could use a few more hours alone,” he replied with a smirk, before he stepped back through the portal. Scarlet looked back at the shack, where she could plainly see Corrin, bare back turned to the window, clearly having sex with someone. Ryoma had mentioned it was Hinoka…
Now it was Scarlet’s turn to smirk. “About time,” she muttered to herself, before she followed Ryoma into the portal, leaving them to it.
