Disclaimer: Mass Effect isn't mine |
Author's Note: This doesn't happen at any particular time during the first game. Just right whenever Kaidan is standing right outside Commander Shepard's quarters. The Shepard starring in my story (just to give you an image) is a bold red head, with short hair (buzzed on the sides), with a large scar over his eye, and domineering grey eyes. This Shepard is a renegade. I fabricated a rather elaborate backstory for him as well.
Commander Allister Shepard had just finished talking with Chief Williams about the last mission. It was a long talk that ended in an argument; as always. Chief Ashley Williams was a very bright soldier, but she was very stubborn and often clashed with her superiors acting mostly on her own intuitions. Shepard walked away feeling like he wanted to bust her in the face. Not much could be said about Shepard himself other he did everything in a true renegade manner. He could have done well with or without a team most of the time. And the more experience he obtained, the more deadly he got. He was trained to be as such. Anyone who crossed his path and exchanged more than a few words with him, realized he was saturated in hatred, but the Council and his superiors knew he was the best for the job. A Specter to the core, until he'd lose his mind, then they'd have to send someone to stop him. Until that time they'd put up with his disregard and dangerous methods. He put up a decent facade for initial impressions so as to give the humans a powerful representation. The only time he fully relied on his squad members was when there was talk about diplomatic affairs.
The two squad members that Shepard could tolerate were Lieutenant Kaidan Alenko and Wrex. Wrex was quite the renegade in his own right, though he did concern himself with the affairs and well-being of his own people. Other than that he did support most every one of Shepard's decisions no matter how violent or extreme they were. Shepard and Kaidan got along fairly well due to a small level of understanding and mutual respect. Shepard respected Kaidan's fighting skills and Kaidan looked up to Shepard, recognizing his strength and abilities. Kaidan also feared him a little, sensing the evil dwelling deep within him. He didn't see any poorly executed missions thus far so he followed the Commander loyally.
It was time for the crew to rest for there was plenty of work to be done the next day. Shepard walked toward his quarters, but he felt as if he should really consult his Lieutenant about the last mission first. Lieutenant Alenko was fixing a control panel just outside of Shepard's quarters. He saw the Commander approaching and stood upright, saluting him.
"At ease Lieutenant." Shepard told him with a serious look.
"Yes Sir. Is there something you need?" Kaidan asked, he wore a look of pain on his face, but he was struggling to hide it.
"Just looking for some personal feedback?" Shepard asked him.
Kaidan seemed very unfocused though as the headache was overtaking him.
"Is everything okay?" Shepard asked him, showing no emotion.
Kaidan was too ashamed to show any ailment around him. "Yeah it's nothing Sir. Just- a headache."
"The pain must truly be awful. You are a real fighter Lieutenant." Shepard told him as he placed his hand on Kaidan's shoulder and squeezed firmly.
"Thank you Sir." He nodded. He knew the Commander couldn't possibly fathom how much it hurt. No battle wound other than an amputation could hurt that much and he knew the Commander had seen his share of stabs, burns and bullet wounds.
"We can talk about the mission tomorrow okay?" Shepard said, taking his hand away.
"Sir we can talk now, I don't want to disappoint you." Kaidan quickly said.
"Okay if you don't want to disappoint me, would you mind fixing the computer monitor in my room then? It blinks every now and again." Shepard asked him, he wore a little smile; his face looked softer, even with the brutal scar that tore across his eye and trailed down to his lip. It was an expression Kaidan hadn't seen before and it was very becoming on him. It was odd actually seeing the Commander relaxed. He was an attractive man but when he was fighting and negotiating he was quite a terrifying sight, with his temples pulsing and his eyes so cold and grey.
"Of course Sir." Kaidan followed him, but he was nervous. He had never been in the Commander's room before and it was a strangely awkward situation.
Shepard turned the monitor on and stepped away. Kaidan watched it for a moment and it flickered briefly. He opened it up and began working on it immediately.
"Sir I'm going to --." Kaidan turned to his Commander who stood in the corner by his other desk, he was removing his shirt. He was very well-muscled, the perfect soldier's build and on his one arm he had a tattoo featuring large numbers, across the upper portion of his back, he had some alien runes that Kaidan had never seen before. "Sir, permission to ask you something?" Kaidan was uneasy; he felt like an intruder.
Shepard turned to him, his grey eyes intense, as usual. "Yes Lieutenant?" Shepard had what looked like a strange geometrical maze marked on his chest and stomach but it was symmetrical and all black, with very little bare skin left in between the lines. It went all the way up to the sides of his neck and Kaidan was surprised it didn't show over the collar of the uniform. There was something evil and treacherous about the markings on him but Kaidan didn't question him. Shepard pledged his life and allegiance and nearly died plenty of times for his cause and crew. He had scars from knives and a few bullet wounds around his chest area. Kaidan didn't ask the question, he just stood and stared.
Shepard put his arms out at his sides a little. He was getting annoyed, "Yes Alenko?"
As if snapping out of a trance, Kaidan spoke, "Shit, Sir, I'm sorry, just this headache is killing me. I was going to ask, are those, prison numbers?"
"Yes, they are. It was on a frozen planet. I can't tell you the name, because I don't remember. That was years ago; they tortured the hell out of me." Shepard replied, as he folded his shirt; his biceps flexed as he did so. Kaidan tried to get back to work but he wanted to ask him about the other tattoos.
"You know, I always wished I could've embraced the powers of the Adept." Shepard blurted out. It was unlike him to say something in such an unplanned manner. It seemed as though everything he said and did was deliberate and premeditated even the heinous and vicious actions and words.
"Well, some say it needs to be at birth. NOT to say that you can't learn Sir." Kaidan quickly corrected himself.
"It's alright I already know I'm not able to do it. My mind seems to be meant to harness some other power,s but that's not meant to be discussed at this time." Shepard told him. There was a curious little smirk on his handsome face.
"With all due respect Sir, now you've sparked my interest and you can't just leave me hanging like this. There I've fixed your monitor." Kaidan folded his arms and waited.
"Oh? Well like I said, not at this time Lieutenant. And I've only mentioned it to you, so don't say anything to anyone else, understand?" Shepard walked towards him with a dominant gait.
"I don't plan on discussing this evening with anyone else I assure you." Kaidan replied, rubbing his temples.
"You know if I could be afflicted with those headaches and then overcome them, I would be that much stronger." Shepard told him, barely louder than a whisper.
"Sir?... That's sick." Kaidan responded. It made him feel ill that it seemed his Commander was making light of his agony.
"I'm serious, I respect your pain, and I wish I were gifted with such pain." Shepard told him, as something dark and evil rose from deep within his eyes.
Kaidan squinted at him as the pain grew. He clutched his head in his hands; he'd usually retreat to his own room when the pain was that great. The last place he wanted to be was there in front of the man he respected most; flinching like a baby from the agony.
"Here, lie down, I'm going to work on my computer for a few hours." Shepard told him.
"Are you sure?" Kaidan was blind with pain, as even the dim light was becoming too much for him.
Shepard guided him by the arm, and Kaidan laid down. He shut all but the lamp over by the desk off. Kaidan started to feel a little better. He watched his Commander, as he typed on his computer. It was eerie though, as if Shepard knew he was being watched, he turned rather quickly and looked at Kaidan.
"Better Lieutenant?" he asked, as if seeing right through the darkness.
"Yes Sir. Thank you." Kaidan replied, he went to sit up but Shepard stood and went to him. He sat down and turned the lamp back on a dim setting. "Well Commander, about that personal feedback. You want my honest opinion? I think the crew is scared of you. Don't take this wrong but you can be a very severe if not, a ruthless leader at times." Kaidan told him, sitting up with him.
"Well I appreciate your honesty, that's why I asked you first. and that's why you're the only I like." He replied, placing his hand on Kaidan's shoulder.
"That means a lot. I respect you so much, but.." Kaidan looked down.
"Yes?"
"Admittedly I'm a little nervous, if not scared of you too." Kaidan said, almost laughing at his own embarrassment.
Shepard laughed a restrained laugh. "You're joking right?"
"Well, no. Do you even know what you do? The last mission you could have used something to neutralize those colonists but instead you chose to shoot them in cold blood. It's things like that you know? You got the mission done though." Kaidan told him, avoiding eye contact.
"It all depends on how you want to view things. There was also a chance they would be so horribly corrupted and scarred that-" Shepard began to rationalize but Kaidan raised his hand.
"No no I didn't say it was a bad choice. I support you Sir." He told him, timidly.
"Yet you tremble." Shepard said edging closer.
Kaidan swallowed hard and stayed in place.
"Everyone supports me so much eh? So let's say if I were to kill you right here, would anyone say anything? Would you even protest?" A malicious little smile formed on Shepard's face as the hand placed on Kaidan's shoulder moved up closer to his neck.
"Well, Sir don't be presumptuous." Kaidan moved ever-so-slightly, preparing himself for anything.
Kaidan pondered for a moment if his Commander was even human, with his lush ever-straight, fiery-red hair and rich grey eyes. He had unnatural fighting talents, trained in multiple styles including standard, alien and exotic and he possessed uncanny speed and super fast learning abilities when it came to all things involving weaponry. It was a possibility that the humans were living a lie and that their unsung hero was a cyborg or worse-an alien. And he kept thinking about what he said, the part about his mind possessing some other power.
"I would say that no one would stand against me if I did, except maybe Williams. But everyone knows she has no respect for authority and she'd be thrown out of the service." He continued the threat.
"Sir? Why are you threatening me? What have I done against you?" Kaidan asked, edging away.
"Nothing at all, that's why I wonder. Why don't you? Shepard taunted.
"Sir, are you testing me or something? I only ever respected you." Kaidan told him. The headache was returning as always.
Shepard placed his hand on the side of Kaidan's face.
"Um Sir what are you doing?" Kaidan asked.
"Nothing, just admiring my Lieutenant, I'm just trying to get to know you." Shepard replied.
"Can I say something that might seem ridiculous, correct me if I'm wrong but isn't this against the rules?" Kaidan asked.
"Of course it is, but do I follow rules?" He told him.
Kaidan was shocked by Shepard's arrogance, but then again he was in the position to act in that manner. He had the looks, the medals and the right, it was just so shameless. He moved his hands up to Kaidan's temples and there was strange energy that seemed to emanate from his fingertips, it felt cold and invigorating. Kaidan felt as if for a moment, the pain was lifted as Shepard massaged him. He gripped Shepard's shoulders as he nearly fell forward. His eyes shot open as the hands retracted.
"Please don't stop." Kaidan couldn't stop himself from begging. It was the first time he could remember when he wasn't experiencing some level of agony. He had to hold back tears of relief; suddenly Shepard was a savior before him. Shepard placed his hand over the back of Kaidan's neck, massaging him and as little sparks of numbing pleasure crept up his back, the pain subsided.
"I can't do that too much, it could kill you." Shepard told him, still massaging him.
"I don't care Sir I could die content with you doing this." Kaidan was in a state of bliss; his eyes were open and sharp. He could see clearer than ever, yet his mind felt deliciously numb. Suddenly he felt as if he was rendered immobile, he heard a strange whisper, and then many whispers. He still felt wonderful but the whispers grew louder.
"I know you can hear me Kaidan. Wonderful isn't it?" he heard Shepard whisper as if right at his ear. It was impossible though because Shepard appear to be actually speaking.
"Sir how did you do that?" Kaidan asked, weakly.
Shepard took his hand away, with a smug smile. "Just using my mind."
"Can you control minds?" He said, feeling some of the pain returning.
"Probably." He replied.
"But how are you able to do this?" Kaidan asked him.
"That is classified Lieutenant." Shepard replied.
"Understood Sir. Please just one more time." Kaidan asked quietly.
Shepard slipped his hand around the back of his head and again the pain dissipated. Kaidan was overwhelmed; he caressed Shepard's face, with his eyes hardly open. He felt like some divine being was touching him, like some gift was being bestowed upon him.
"What are you doing Lieutenant?" Shepard asked, making no attempt to draw back.
"I-I'm not sure. I'm just so drawn to you right now." He rasped.
He brought his mouth within inches from Shepard's. He didn't ask permission as he kissed him; placing everything he had in to it. Shepard still had his hand on him so it sent some of the power back, sending them both in to a state of euphoria for a moment. As long as Shepard focused on using his power it worked in such a manner. They both sank back on to the bed, with Kaidan on top. As long as they were touching, his headache was virtually gone. Kaidan quickly moved to take his shirt off allowing more bare contact area. Shepard took his hand away and Kaidan slowly felt the pain come back, he was straddling Shepard, almost clumsily. He pressed his bare chest against Shepard's and he could feel the scars on Shepard's skin as their flesh grazed against one another's. He prayed for those miracle hands to touch him again. He felt some of the pain lift purely from the contact but it wasn't quite enough. Shepard studied Kaidan's musculature as he sat up, still on top of him. He was a model soldier, though a little on the slender side, his taste for violence and his high intellect made up for it. He slid his hands up Kaidan's abs and watched them tense, then traveled palms down, up to his chest. He immediately noticed the little silver barbell pierced through Kaidan's small, dark nipple. "Lieutenant, what is this all about?" he said, as he tugged on it.
It hurt a little and Kaidan bit on his lip, trying to hold back the little sigh. Instead a faint moan escaped his throat.
"I have to channel the pain somehow. It has a strange meaning for me Commander." Kaidan replied, trying to remain in control.
"Don't play coy with me, only those who are promiscuous have these." Shepard retorted, as he sat up with unexpected strength and speed, he placed his hand at the center of Kaidan's back.
"I like how it looks...and feels." Kaidan couldn't looked at Shepard, he almost laughed with embarrassment.
Shepard placed his teeth around the small barbell, catching some of the tender flesh with it and sucked. All Kaidan could do was open his mouth slightly, but no sound came forth. It hurt, but the warmth after the initial pinch began to tickle and tease him in indescribable ways. He felt Shepard's tongue, hot and wet dance over the injured and cut flesh. He gripped the back of his Commander's head and arched in to it, he almost scolded himself for giving in so readily but he never felt anything like it, and it was a man far superior to him, someone so special and so irresistible. The whole occurrence was completely unexpected. Shepard moved his other hand up and cupped it around the back of Kaidan's neck. Kaidan felt like his spine melted, the pain left him yet again. He weakened completely in his arms, almost falling backwards. Kaidan wrapped his legs around Shepard to keep his balance and Shepard brought him down onto the bed before him.
"Please don't take your hands off me Commander." Kaidan begged, hardly opening his eyes.
"Are you giving me an order?" Shepard asked him, looking severe.
"No Sir." He replied.
Shepard looked down on him for a moment, enjoying his little bout with agony and then finally he ran his hands through Kaidan's hair and planted his lips hungrily over Kaidan's. Kaidan wrapped his arms around him, pulling him close. Their mouths battled for a few moments as they sank back on to the small bed. Commander Shepard's growing need matched his rising impatience. He slid his hand over Kaidan's belt and with cool precision he undid Kaidan's trousers just as easily as he'd undone his will power. Kaidan did nothing to stop him; he kept his muscular arms wrapped firmly around Shepard's broad shoulders. Shepard didn't want his subordinate to know just how much self-control he was losing and, in truth, how fond he was of him. He kept himself as collected as possible as he slowly broke the embrace. He wanted to force Kaidan on all fours and just thrust right in to him, no matter how much it would hurt the both of them. It was the aggressive streak in him that always got the best of him, but he fought it.
Shepard snapped out of his thoughts when he felt Kaiden unfastening his pants. His lightening fast reflexes took over and he grabbed Kaidan's wrist. Kaiden winced in pain as Shepard gripped him too tightly.
"Ah shit, Commander, I'm sorr-." He whispered.
Shepard enjoyed the look of pain on Kaiden's face, he thought it looked so alluring, so hot. But he released him, "You just caught me off guard. I'm going to have to get you for that one." He told him, with his grey eyes piercing through him.
Kaiden didn't know if he was serious or not but he knew he would soon find out.
Shepard stood and began to get dressed again, "Lieutenant, you stay here I'll be right back. Unless you want to do things my way, I have to go and find something to make things go a little nicer for you."
Kaiden just nodded lightly in agreement and embarrassed as hell. There was something intimidating about his Commander and the fact that he was actually doing all this with him was unreal to him. He thought it wise to be undressed the rest of the way, so he slipped between the sheets and nervously waited. He was pleased that his headache was gone, he didn't even have to screw the Commander and the headache vanished. He wanted to thank him so badly for those magical fingers he had.
"Sir? May I have a word with you?" Ashley stopped Shepard a few steps from his quarters.
"What is it Chief Williams?" he asked, turning to face her.
"It's about Lt Alenko." She stopped and blushed.
The Commander scolded himself for feeling some dread for what was coming next.
"Yes?" he maintained a cold countenance.
"Well it's just he and I.." Her voice trailed off.
"Well, we've been talking more often than usual and my sister said he's really cute and all. What I mean to say is I really like him. I'm not sure he likes me though. Do you think I should pursue?" Ashley rambled on and on till Shepard stopped her.
"I'll ask him alright? Chief Williams this may be rest time, but you really shouldn't be devoting so much of your time to fraternizing with crew members. Just be a little more focused okay?" He advised.
She saluted, "Thank you Sir."
He waited for her to leave, then entered his room. The room was so dark and within seconds Kaidan was on him. Yielding fingertips on hard uniform, Shepard pushed Kaiden up against the wall and locked his arm around his leg, drawing it upward. Kaidan's soft flesh was nearly rubbed raw against Shepard's uniform as their hips met. He moaned softly against Shepard's ear as they shifted positions a little.
"Well, you were the one that made the fast move." Shepard said, reading the sound as a soft plea.
He threw Kaiden over his shoulder and placed him on the bed then undressed very militantly. In no time his hands were on him, those cleansing, powerful hands. Kaiden couldn't help but wonder what it would feel like having those hands placed firmly over his cock.
Shepard sat on the bed and readied the small vial that he'd gotten from the infirmary. It was medicinal oil that worked famously on small wounds and such. Kaiden's eyes adjusted again and he could see his Commander's beautiful hard-muscled form slightly sprawled before him. He propped himself up on his elbows and took his Commander's shaft into his mouth. He was generously endowed so it was quite a task even still feeling quite numb from his treatments earlier. He took him in nearly to the hilt, but then Shepard became too aroused and it grew too large.
Shepard stopped him after a few draws. "You're just too good at that." He smiled crookedly. He knelt behind Kaidan and after preparing himself, he forced two fingers up Kaidan's ass. Kaidan squinted one eye, not expecting any mercy from his superior. But at the same time there was that force emanating from his skin and it seemed to mingle with Kaidan's nerve endings. The fingers were replaced with Shepard's enormous manhood. It seemed to tear him apart at first but then after a few thrusts he relaxed and the tingling sensations swept over him. Shepard pounded him relentlessly, and Kaidan gripped the headboard for leverage. He felt a strange static charge on the metal of his nipple ring as if there was some electrical power surging from Shepard as they fused together. Shepard ran his strong hand up leaving sensitive little pings on Kaidan's skin until finally he reached his pierced nipple. He rolled the barbell between his fingers and pinched it, causing pain mixed with delicious electrical bliss to shoot straight up his body.
"Oh god Commander. Harder." he whispered.
Shepard bit his ear, and then trailed quick kisses down the side of his neck. He cupped the palm of his hand around Kaidan's neck, just under his chin, drawing his head back a little. His back arched more as a result and Shepard thrust in all the way one last time, he trembled slightly as he came hard spilling hot inside him. After pulling out, he straddled Kaidan, pressing the side of his face against Kaidan's and concentrated. He grabbed Kaiden's ass with one hand and the other was wrapped around his cock, only he was gently touching him there. As if only to maintain contact, it was the telepathic activity that was sending Kaidan over the edge. Kaiden bit his lip raw as Shepard licked the side his face, pulling his barbell again.
"I-I can't hold on anymore---." Kaiden's breath caught in his throat and he came.
When Shepard felt him relax under his touch, he placed both his hands on each side of his face and they tongue-kissed.
"Sir,you are so fucking hot." Kaidan panted.
