Disclaimer: Jealousy, violence, hurt/comfort, love, war... Everything, starts during the Threesome quest, but definitely doesn't end there! Also, any character that I did not create for this story DOES NOT belong to me, they belong to CDPR. |
I'm back, long chapter took a while to write, I hope it'll be good! HUGE chapter, literally and figuratively, definitely gonna enjoy this! Now I know that details may have been few and far between last chapter... But coming from myself at least, that has played through the ending of the game 6 times, and I am assuming that anyone reading the story has played through it at least once, knows at least what the characters are talking about and when? I hope? If not I will of course elaborate, the Nilfgaardian emperor and his fleet are stationed outside the Skellige isles, waiting to invade, Yennefer sent Geralt onto the flagship with a letter saying for the emperor to give them Fringilla Vigo. Now he is also having to agree to help them in their fight against the hunt... Also, Gaetan is here! Why? Because why not!? He'll have a role to play in this. This chapter is gonna be, as quoted by Eessamaster: "EPIC!" Some seriously cool stuff gonna happen in this one! Also a long one, deserves to be long, it is the official transition between the game story line, and the world that I will write. Warnings: Violence, cursing, sexual content, suggestive themes, the usual :) lol. This story is now also on A03, Adultfanfiction and partly on Wattpad, with just the first chapter and a link to the rest of the story. I want my views and reviews on this site, not on the others... But ultimately I just want people to read my story, to know that others are getting enjoyment out of it. I also went back and edited the chapters, fixing some spelling errors and mistakes.

Whenever I read a story, I always review every chapter, share my thoughts and compliment, please do the same for me? :) If I get 13 reviews, that's 13 reviews, but that is also 13 pieces of critique and thoughts from someone reading my story, EXTREMELY helpful! After you read the chapter don't panic, everything will be explained in the coming chapters.
Chapter 13- Friends, love, and enemies.
Time- early next morning
The King of the Wild Hunt sailed aboard the Naglfar, a giant long ship that traveled between worlds. As Ga'els had advised, the Witcher set out to find the Sunstone- An artifact needed to draw Eredin into a trap.
Geralt and Triss were lying in their bed, they had rented a room in the nearby Inn, yesterday Geralt and Rita had come back with the Sunstone. They all decided that the best thing was to get a good nights sleep, and then they would set their plan into motion. They were both in their undergarments and holding each other tightly, just enjoying each others presence, savoring this moment, because it may very well be the last time they can hold each other. The last time they can kiss each other, one or both of them very well might die that day... Nothing is for certain, tomorrow least of all.
"Geralt?" Triss called from next to him.
"Yes, love?"
"Come back to me today, I can't lose you."
"I'll always be here, for you, and with you, nothing can or ever will tear us apart."
"And I'll always be here for you, Geralt, always, no matter what."
"Thank you, Triss, you've always been here for me when I needed it most, even if it hurt you..."
"Yes, I've always put your needs above mine, above everything and everyone in my life. In Novigrad, after I saw you again... Every night I cried myself asleep, thinking "there's no way he'll ever pick me, he never has..." I still pursued you, desperate for you to love me. You had already found Dandelion, and knew Ciri wasn't in Novigrad anymore... You could have left me and gone to Skellige already, but you still stayed, to go to the ball with me. That night was the best night I'd had since the baths in Flotsam. Sure it was nice, but It wasn't because I got out of the city, it was because I got to be arm and arm with you again. Although... I just couldn't deny myself the pleasure of teasing you about Moritz, I just had to see what your reaction would be, would you be jealous? Or would you not care? I got my answer, and hearing the jealous growl in your voice made me feel soo good. That kiss in the gardens was magical, and cruel... Your hand inching up my thigh lit me on fire like a spark to oil, mhmm. Then Albert interrupted us, argh. I was convinced you'd regret it, see it as a mistake..." She finished, sounding broken.
"But I didn't, all it did was make me want to feel your lips again, more. I fully realized at that moment how stupid I had been, and that I wanted to be with you."
"That whole time in Novigrad, it was especially infuriating... That I could smell her on you, that putrid awful stench of lilac and gooseberries."
He looked at her, one eyebrow raised.
"What? Fine, maybe I couldn't... In reality, but it was still there, like she enchanted you or something. That if I looked at you, the smell would flood my naustrels... It was probably just my imagination, or insecurity, but it was awful." She said.
"I made mistakes, Triss, that hurt you... And I deeply regret them. You're far better than Yennefer ever was, she never compared to you, but I didn't realize it until almost too late, and I'm sorry." Geralt said, purely sincere.
"I made mistakes too, but nothing I did for or with you, I ever regretted. In the end, we ended up here, together." She said, loving.
"I don't blame you, Triss, we've both made mistakes that we regret... And I hope you don't blame me, too much. But there's nothing we can do to change what we did back then, all we can do is live for now, and for our future. Agreed?" He said to her, loving.
"We both still have scars, Geralt, I know I do. Only we can heal each others scars, and the only medicine is our love, for each other." She said it with all her heart.
She climbed on top of him to straddle him, and kissed him passionately.
"I agree, Triss, we do still have scars... Only our love can heal them."
"Mhmm."
She broke the kiss, and got up to walk to her bag... Of course she was swaying her hips too.
She dug around in her bag, making sure to bend over, she pulled out a cloth wrapped object.
She walked back over to him and unwrapped it.
"Geralt, take this," she handed it to him. "It's an alert, break it, and I'll know where you are and teleport to you. Should we ever be apart, and you need me, break it and I'll be there." She said to him, serious.
"Thank you, I pray I'll never need to break it..." He said.
"I do too, I don't know what I'd do if something happened to you... And don't get any smart ideas, if you break it and it's not an emergency? I'll be upset!" She told him, dead serious.
"What smart ideas?" He asked, playing along.
"Very convincing." She mocked, hands on her hips, making her look pretty good and she had a wide leg stance.
"Really, what smart ideas?" He asked, acting perfectly.
She actually bought it, ha. "You're dim as dishwater, I meant don't go thinking you'll break the tile when you're lonely and I'll come teleporting in looking like this." She explained, her hands emphasizing her body.
He did the smart thing of course: "Mmhhhmmm, well now that you mention it..." He teased.
"Don't even think about it!" She told him.
"I'm just toying with you, I knew what you meant the first time, ha!" He said, laughing.
She blushed, "Yeah, and I was just playing along!" She said, trying to make herself right in this.
"Haha, I doubt it, you fell for it harder than you fell for m-" She cut him off.
"Careful Geralt, swell anymore and they'll start calling you the Butcher of Flubberkin." She mocked, giggling.
"Ha, you'd like that wouldn't you? But then again you'd miss this..." He said, stretching and flexing his muscles.
It had the desired effect, she got turned on at the sight, her eyes darkening a shade. She bit her lip.
"Why don't you come back to bed?" He teased to her, his voice seductive.
She purred, and pounced on him, straddling his waist and grinding on him. She mewled and locked her lips with his.
He smiled and ran his hands down to her ass and kneaded it, she moaned at the feeling of him groping her, making her grind faster.
"Mmmmmhh, Geralt." She moaned.
"Mmmhmm," He murmured and tore off her panties, which made her even more aroused.
He grabbed her thighs and pulled them all the way up to his mouth and he latched his mouth onto her, his tongue reaching as far as it could into her and licking her walls.
She moaned loudly at the sudden movement and the pleasure, his tongue at her folds always felt so good.
He had her legs over his shoulders and he was dining on her sweet feminine cavern. He swirled his tongue inside of her, lapping her sweet love juices and making her feel so good. He's suck on her clit every now and then, just to make her go crazy.
He added two fingers, and thrust them in and out of her, hitting her special spot.
She screamed at the pleasure, and he took his other hand to knead her breast, which was covered by her bra.
She reached behind her, with shaky hands, and barely managed to unbuckle her bra, he was making her feel so good that her motor skills were on the fritz.
"Ahhh yes, right there." She moaned and threw her bra across the room.
He worked harder, added a third finger and licked up her folds to her clitoris and nibbled lightly, that would get some results... It did, she came with a window shattering scream of pleasure, he lapped up all her sweet honey and kept his rhythm. He didn't stop until she was twitching, her hips bucking every few seconds in aftershock, he knew she couldn't take anymore so he stopped.
He grabbed her thighs again and effortlessly lifted her up to put her on the bed next to him, he got up and over top of her to kiss her passionately, looking into her eyes.
"Damn, Geralt, th-that was i-incredib-ble." She stuttered, still high on pleasure.
"Sure sounded like it," he teased and she blushed red.
"That's what you do to me," She purred against his lips, "you make me scream." She stretched the word out sexily.
He kissed her passionately and they made out for a minute.
"I love to make you scream, my love."
"And I love it when you make me scream, for you." She purred.
"Mhmm," He responded against her lips.
She wrapped her legs around his waist and her arms around his neck, she leaned up right next to his lips and whispered: "Make love to me, Geralt." Seduction and love flowing in waves.
He smiled and pushed into her, they both gasped at the feeling, always fitting together perfectly.
"Yes Geralt, make love to me!" She said to him, high. She clawed his back in pleasure, her sharp nails digging into his back. It hurt, sure, but Geralt didn't care, he knew she was in ecstasy and he loved that she was showing it.
"Mhhmm," he responded.
They made love for what felt like hours, slowly thrusting into and up to each other, showing their love for each other in a beautiful and blissful way, full of love. They changed positions at least three times, her on top of him, him on top of her, and back again. Grunts and moans escaping them both, loving the feel of the other. He'd occasionally reach his head down to plant kisses on her neck, making her gasp, he bit her right over top of the mark he had left a few days before, renewing it. She did the same to him, refreshing her mark.
When they approached their climax they sped up, enjoying and loving the feeling of the other, when they climaxed she screamed in ecstasy and he moaned against her lips, they released at the same time, perfectly in sync. When they were spent they rolled on the bed and curled up in the sheets, tightly wrapped into each other.
"Thank you, Geralt, for loving me so much, and for choosing me." She said to him after a time.
"No, Thank you, for loving me with all your heart, always. I love you, Triss, I always will, and we'll be alright, we'll get our happy ending." He said to her, loving and sincere.
"Mhmm, thank you, I love you so much." She whispered to him, and they fell asleep in each others arms, tightly wrapped around the other, in perfect harmony.
Later that morning, wanting to get them up because they were leaving soon, Ciri pounded on their door screaming: "GET UP YOU LOVEBIRDS!" When she didn't get the effect she had hoped for, which was for them to get up... She waltzed into the room to see what was keeping them. Her cat medallion on her waist pulsed a bit going into the room, must be a sound spell... Made her stand out there pounding and acting stupid for nothing, figures.
They were, of course, tightly cuddled up on the bed, fast asleep. Seeing this, Ciri cheered up a bit, she loved seeing them so in love, and her dad so happy.
"He always looks and is so happy when he is wither her, she truly is good for him, really good for him. He deserves to be happy like this." She thought to herself, content.
She walked over to them, getting as close as she could get without alerting Geralt... Witcher senses and all. She decided to have some fun.
"GERALT!" Ciri shouted at them, she made it sound like a shriek. It had the desired effect, Triss was so frightened her arms and legs bolted around in fright and she shrieked, Geralt was a little better... He just shot up in the bed and yelled "Ahhh, what?"
Ciri burst into a fit of giggles and laughter, pointing at them incredulously, she was practically doubling over.
"Ha ha, Ciri, very funny. Don't do that." Geralt told her, serious, not at all amused.
"Sorry, I just couldn't deny myself the pleasure! Oh the expression on your faces, HA!" She burst into a fit of laughter again.
Geralt looked over to Triss, she was back into a state of calm, her expression said she wasn't amused, but she was looking at Ciri laughing... She had a look of content and happiness, like seeing Cirilla laughing and having so much fun made her get tingles of joy.
"Hmmm..." Geralt thought to himself, but didn't comment out loud.
"Alright, Ciri, why are you here?"
She panted, and panted, trying to come down from all the laughter. "Oooookay... I came h-" She didn't get it out before she burst into giggles again.
Geralt sighed, he was happy to see her like this, having so much fun.
"CIRI!" He called.
"Ahhh, fine, ok. I came here to tell you that-" *giggle* "-we are leaving in two hours, for Undvik." She managed to finish.
"Alright, thanks, next time just shake us awake... We'll be there in time, now leave us be so we can get ready, please."
"Alright, dad, see you outside." Ciri said, then walked out the door.
(A/N There has been a significant lack of Ciri in this story since chapter 2, you agree? Didn't mean it to be like that, just sorta happened, she won't be a huge character in this for at least another 5-10 chapters unfortunately... Then there will be lots of Ciri.)
"Ugh..." Triss said.
"You alright? You writhed like a fish outta water, and that squeal..." Geralt teased.
She smacked him playfully, and blushed. "Sh-shut up!" She squeaked.
"Ha, not fooling me." He said and then he leaned in and kissed her.
"Good morning, love." He greeted her.
"Mhmmm," She moaned, forgetting what happened, and she wrapped her arms around his neck and lay back against the pillow again.
They kissed for a few minutes, hands running over the other, when her hands got a bit more venturous he pulled back and told her: "Triss, we gotta get going." Geralt said to her, reluctant, he would have loved to go where she wanted to go... But they didn't have time, and they really need to save their strength.
"Ahhhh, Geeeeralt, we've got enough time." She cooed seductively to him, smiling sexily, her eyes dark.
"No, Triss, we need to save our strength, and we really don't have time." He told her, firmly.
"Ahhhh, come on, are you suuuuuuuure?" She purred to him, seductively stretching out on the bed more and arching her back to accentuate her chest, revealing more of her perfect, nude and alluring figure.
Damn her, why did she tease him so? It would be just soooo easy to reach out and grab those beautiful feminine handfulls of hers, they're just begging him to do so, so is she...
He wasn't gonna bite though, and so he just gave her his: "Stop it" glare, that he knew would set her straight.
She sighed in defeat, dissatisfaction and lust evident in her sigh.
"Fine, I'm sorry." She said, and waved her hand to put clothes on with magic, then she got up and walked to the dresser.
"Good girl," He called after her, teasing, he knew it'd driver her wild.
The comment made her start swaying her hips, she then sat down at the mirror and started brushing her hair out, when she was done she would tie it up into her famous hair buns.
Geralt got up off the bed and slipped on his underwear, he got a glance from Triss before he did though, she couldn't resist. He got up and walked over to the armor stand, Triss's eyes on him all the way, he put on his best set, mastercrafted witcher armor, modeled after the witchers of the cat, but made to be more protective for witchers like him that weren't trained the way they were. When he slipped on the chest armor, he swore he heard a barely audible sigh come from Triss a ways away... Only his witcher ears could pick it up.
"Like what you see?" Geralt called to her.
"Not anymore." She replied, dryly... He imagined she was still high on lust.
He chuckled, he loved that he had this effect on her. He walked over to the chest in the room and opened it, it contained his steel swords, he had all his best equipment for this fight. He went to pull out his mastercrafted cat sword, but stopped at the last second when he noticed another sword laying beside it, a familiar one.
"Witchers are safe in numbers..." Geralt thought to himself, "And even though we're far from friends... Gaetan is still a witcher, and by extension, a brother... I'll wear this one." He though to himself in decision, and pulled out the other sword, it had a shaped cross guard, a long handle wrapped in red leather, and a cat school emblem emblazoned on the end in the middle of a small steel medallion. The same as on the end of his master cat sword, they were from the same place after all... Teiger
He strapped it on his back then shut the chest and moved to another one, he took a key from his pocket and unlocked it, inside were his most valuable and well-made swords, most of them silver.
He took out the best and most well-made sword he owned, at the moment... It was also the most significant to the history of his school, to the history of the Wolf, (that he owned), it wasn't the most valuable one, but it was high up there, and that also didn't really matter. He unsheathed it a few inches, and ran his finger along the edge, razer sharp, he sheathed it all the way then shut the chest and locked it.
"Your's is sharper!" Triss called to him, playfully.
"Mhm, and your sheathe tighter!" He called back to her, just as playfully.
She blushed furiously, she went back to brushing, running the brush furiously through her hair in embarrassed strokes.
"Careful, Triss... If you want your hair pulled out, I'd like to do it myself." He told her, seductive and playful.
She stopped brushing, and blushed even harder.
"Don't tempt me with a good time! Not when you rejected my advances this morning!" She called, blushing.
"Mhhmm, you were a pretty bad girl this morning..." He said, thinking aloud.
He knew she blushed even harder at that, he knew she loved his dominant side, and that she loved for him to call her a bad girl, or a good girl, for him to command her... Too bad he didn't share the same fetish, not nearly as much as she did that is, but if she liked it then he liked it. He just strapped the sword to his back and settled all his armor into place. He strapped his crossbow to his back, not really thinking it would be of much use, but whatever. He also grabbed some grapeshot and samun bombs, and strapped them to his belt. He put three decoctions and a host of potions in his bag and zipped it up, then swung it over his back. He looked like a true witcher, and a powerful one, his armor and his looks making him a sexy witcher as well. Triss would agree...
"Which swords did you chose this time? Geralt? From the way you looked at those I'd say they're important." Triss asked him.
"The steel one I got when I first met Gaetan on the path... Reason I chose to wear it today is because witchers are safe in numbers, we're the only ones here, he'll have the same sword, and Cat school armor just like me, witchers are safe in numbers, so in a sense we'll be together. The other one, the silver sword, is Tor'Haerne... It's got a history with the wolf school, Barengar designed the sword and wanted to forge it completely by himself... Unfortunately he lost all the diagrams and supplies when he had to run from a chort he was hunting near Kaer Morhen, he was afraid that Vesemir would snoop through his stuff while he was gone." Geralt explained.
"My my, those are special... Look pretty mean too. Why did Barengar run from the chort?" She complimented and asked.
"Yes they are, he had to run from the chort because it turned out to be stronger than he could manage, and Barengar was no push over either." Geralt said, sounding not done.
"And?" Triss coaxed.
Picking right up from Triss's word, he said: "Naturally the overgrown cow was no match for me, thus why I got the diagrams and had the sword made." He said, sounding proud.
Triss laughed, "Good job, yet another tale of my big strong witcher coming out on top..." Triss said.
"Mhm, that's just the way you like it isn't it?" He said seductively.
She blushed, "You know it." She cooed. She put her brush down, pulled her hair into her special buns, then she got up and waved her hands, they glowed yellow and a large case slid out from under the bed, it was about as long as she was tall, which was a decent height, she was just the way he loved her.
She waved her hands and her clothes vanished, she swayed her hips at him, then made undergarments appear on her gorgeous form. She walked over to the case and opened it, inside was a full sorceresses armor outfit. A beautiful red suit of mages armor, it had thin metal plates of meteorite steel on the shoulders, and also ones that ran down in four long and thin plates all around on both of the forearms, probably sword guards. The same plates were on the ankles, and at the collar, it had a beautiful and intricate pattern on the stomach part that was done in woven silver and red lace. He recognized it as her symbol, her seal.
The gloves were red leather as well, beautiful patterns of orange fire woven into them. The symbol of magic was woven into the top of gloves on both gloves. Over the left breast there was a single number that would clear all doubt of who you were staring down on the battlefield, in white stitch, heavily and woven into the dark red leather, it read 14. The boots had red and orange flames erupting up them and it seamlessly continued up the pants. The sorceresses armor outfit was beautiful, and powerful, dark red with red and orange flames on the arms, legs, and boots, the symbol of magic and chaos woven into the gloves... The seal of the most powerful sorceresses alive and the searing white shine of the number 14 emblazoned on the left breast made for a powerful and glorious image... and it wasn't even on her yet.
She smiled, looking at Geralt's impressed and analytical witchers expression. She stood up and reached out her hands, with a twirl and a gesture both her and the outfit glew blue and after a second there Triss was, standing in complete regal glory and power that would have made Francesca jealous. But she wasn't done, she took a small knife from the case and slipped it into the sheathe on the side of the outfit. She then raised her arm up and summoned her staff, she twirled it around a few times expertly, then cast a spell on herself and expertly reached back to put it on her back, like a Witcher would with his sword. She truly looked a Witcher's lover, his lover, but she was far more.
She turned to him and said: "Haven't gotten this out in ages," she exclaimed. Geralt just looked at her with a very impressed look. He had the feeling deep down, looking at her, to bow to her, she certainly looked like the person you'd bow to.
"Damn, Triss. You look... powerful, regal." Was all he said.
"Thank you, I take great pride in wearing this armor. Custom made Sorceresses armor, for only the most powerful and talented sorceresses. I don't think even Yen has one like this. It's specially and incredibly enchanted too, the gloves are enchanted so that, like my staff for example, will never slip out of my hand. The boots enchanted to never slip on the ground, I can't fall on my ass walking on ice, but I can still have the advantage of sliding that comes with fighting on ice, should I need it. The legs enchanted so that I can run faster, jump higher, move quicker. The chest is of course enchanted with magic resistance spells, as well as the whole suit, but also enchanted so that I can channel more magic efficiently, casting more spells and magic without tiring as fast. It's also entirely arrow and bolt proof, no bolts through the heart to take me out. It's also made to be as durable as possible, wouldn't stop a witcher's blade, but a spiked mace wouldn't go through, just knock the wind out of you..." She explained.
"You look good, the other sorceress will be jealous, Rita will be proud. Who knows, they might even bow to you..." He said, still impressed.
"Haha, probably not, oh... and it's also resistant to the elements, fire/ice/wind/rain... Etc." She explained, excited.
He raised an eyebrow and said: "Can you enchant my armor to be like that?"
She laughed, "Sure, but I'd need a lot of time and a lot of power."
"Hmm," He said.
"Triss?"
"Yes?"
"After we defeat the hunt, when are we leaving for Kovir?"
"Whenever you like, but it would be better to go sooner rather than later..." She said.
"Great, I'm sick of this place..." He said.
"Me too, I can't wait to be back in court, and get into a country that I won't have to hide anymore."
"Not so much the first one for me... But the second sounds really good, and I heard once from Eskel, that Kovir pays really well for contracts."
"Don't worry, I'll be sure to, should the discussion ever come up... State firmly that you are strictly off limits, period. Also, you won't need to take contracts, I'll make a fortune being the mage advisor!" She said to him.
"Oh, that's right... But It's habit, Triss. Asking me to stop killing monsters and helping people, would be like asking you to stop loving politics, or like asking Yen to stop being a bitch..." He said, matter of fact, and humorous. They both got a good laugh out of that.
"Haha! Ok I get it, I'll never ask you to stop doing what you love, never." She told him, serious. "Just don't get yourself killed on me, I can't lose you Geralt." She said with a mournful tone.
"I'm always going to be here with you Triss, I won't take any really dangerous jobs in Kovir. It'll be like semi-retirement for me, just relaxing and growing old with you, luxuriating in Pont Vanis... Who knows maybe I'll be the first Witcher to ever die in his own bed." He pondered to her, stepping closer to her and bringing his hand to tilt her head up to look at him. He kissed her passionately, and said: "Just loving, living, and forgiving, my Witchers way." He said to her, full of love, and kissed her again, she kissed back eagerly and wrapped her arms around his neck. They stayed that way for a few minutes then pulled away.
"I like the sound of that, and to pass the time on those uneventful days, we can try out some of my many lewd ideas I mentioned... mmmmm." She grinned.
"Mmmhmm," he hummed, sexily.
She blushed lightly, "Yes... I think we'll have a great time. For many reason, and in many ways, living happy together... Gosh that sounds cliche!"
"It does... but it won't be." He said.
"Mmmhmmm." She replied.
"Geralt?"
"Yes, gorgeous?" He replies.
She blushed and asked: "I've been meaning to ask you for a while, since you lost your memory actually... But, whatever happened to that special silver sword you had? The one with 4 wolf heads on the hilt?" She asked.
"Huh? Gosh so many... Uhm, Oh! Aerondight?" He asked.
"Yes! That's the one, I think."
"Ahhh, I lost it back during the siege of La Vallete castle, stabbing Saskia the dragon in the mouth to save the king, who promptly got assassinated half an hour later..."
She cringed, "Damn, that Dragon was Saskia? How?" She asked, shocked...
"You didn't know? Geez... Well, I don't know how, but she was called the dragonslayer, so maybe it was a curse or something, but it didn't look reversible." He told her.
"Hmm, well... Can't ask her now! You're the dragonslayer, but I know you don't like to be known for killing that dragon... Especially when it was Saskia."
"Yeah, I don't like to be reminded about the time I killed a dragon... Witchers don't kill dragons, well, they didn't used to... Still don't, but I broke the record." He cringed.
"Yeah, I'm sorry, it was quite impressive though. If you hadn't... well, you know..." She gestured with her hands in a rejecting gesture, "Then I would have been more than eager to hop into your bed, for that reason, and to thank you for saving me." She said, sincere, seductive and sad at the same time
He raised an eyebrow at her statement.
"What?! Don't look at me like that! It was your loss!" She stated, firmly.
"I'm sorry Triss, I was an idiot back then..."
"As I said, you're not the brightest star in the sky, I've accepted that." She mocked, reminding.
"Yeah... Gee, thanks. It's probably true though."
"Yeah, it is... I mean, what man would be dumb enough to leave a women as beautiful as me?" She said, confidence and pride in her voice.
"None I know, and I sure won't, ever again."
"Mhmm, better not, and you know I'll never leave you, ever."
"Thank you, I love you, Triss."
"I love you too, Geralt, more than you could ever know... Anyways, back on topic, did you ever ask Saskia if she had your sword?"
He looked at her, incredulous. "Now that you mention it, I never did... But I do believe she would have given it back to me if she had, after all I did save her life, and fight for her, she should have remembered me too, so I doubt she had it." He explained.
"Hmmm, well, we won't ever know..."
"Yeah, we won't. Still, maybe I'll get my sword back one day..." Geralt said.
"Maybe, how'd you get it in the first place?"
"From the Lady of the Lake..."
"DAMN! Well, maybe if you can ever find her again, she'll have it?"
"It's possible I suppose..."
"Mhm, it was her sword to grant, so it may come back to her or she can retrieve it if it's ever lost." Triss explained.
"Yeah, if only I knew where to look for her..." He pondered, then got an idea, one he knew would drive her up a wall.
"You know what else she gave me?"
"No, what?" She said, skeptical.
He looked at her and raised his eye brows, and he said: "Some fun..." He grinned at her.
She just looked at him for a second then said: "Sorceresses not enough eh? Had to fuck a goddess too?" She asked him, her voice not raised or lowered, but unamusement, slight jealousy clear in her voice, among others... She stood there with her arms crossed and eyes narrowed, leaning on her back leg.
"Uh huh, couldn't pass on the chance."
"Yeah... I bet you couldn't." She said, her eyes narrowed.
"She was nothing compared to you though, and she looked like an elf..."
"Oh?" Triss asked, intrigued but light anger still evident in her voice, not amused.
"Yeah, she looked like an elf, like Francesca, but less..." He stopped, looking at Triss's expression, "Attractive..." He finished, slightly apprehensive.
He quickly leaned down to kiss her, knowing it would calm her down, or fix his situation... Luckily, she didn't pull away, and he kissed her passionately to show her that he loved her and that she's the only one that has his affection.
"Good save, Geralt... Good save." Triss said to him.
"Geralt?" She asked after a few moments.
"Yes, love?"
"When we talked to Yen the other day..."
He groaned, knowing what she was gonna say.
"And she made the comment about the threesome... Would you have really been happier if it had worked out?" She asked.
"In an ideal world where there was no jealousy between you two? Where she wasn't so bitchy? In a world where she was kind, loving, and anywhere near as beautiful and perfect as you? Sure... But in reality? Hell no, all those fantasies were gone the moment I told her it was over, Triss." He told her, serious and meaning it.
She smiled, and kissed him hard, very pleased at his honest answer, if they survived all this... she'd reward him well after. Mhmm.
"Mmmmm, Thank you, Geralt." She told him against his lips.
"You don't need to thank me, I said it because I meant it, you're the only woman I have eyes for and ever will, the only woman I fantasize and ever will, and the only woman I love and ever will, romantically that is... I love Ciri too." He said, chuckling towards the end. She jumped at him and wrapped her arms around his neck, kissing him.
"Yesss, you have no idea how good if feels to hear you say that, and mean it..." She smiled and leaned up to whisper sexily in his ear, her voice hissing with lust she said: "and Geralt... with me, your fantasies will always become reality..." She said sexily, and seductively, then kissed him romantically.
He smirked against her lips, "Mmmhhmmm," He responded and kissed her neck.
"Geraaalt... Don't turn me on if you can't turn me back off, and we have to get going." She moaned.
"Sorry, let's go." He said to her.
"Mhmm, we can play later, after we defeat the hunt." She said to him.
"Looking forward to it."
"Let's go," She said and opened a portal to the boat, he trusted her with his life, so he didn't fear her portals.
"Let's go." He said nodding, and they stepped through to meet with the others and then set off to defeat the hunt, they stepped through holding hands, together, forever.
(HUGE A/N- Mastercrafted cat school gear, Teiger and Tor'Haerne for his swords. For how Triss is decked out? IDK, her gloves are just a more Triss-like red-version of the Elder blood gloves from Witcher2. If you don't like that then you could say they look like Dany's red gloves in Game of thrones? Just with the magic/chaos symbol on them, IDK if that's a thing but it has to be... Her leggings are the mages/Elder blood pants from Witcher2? Whatever, she looks completely badass, beautiful, and regal, the armor/outfit is Dark-red with orange fla... Yeah, you read the description, just picture it the way you'd see it best, that's what Fanficfion is, after all! Not ending it there, so don't worry, huge chapter.)
The portal boomed to life on the deck of the ship, everyone looked to it and saw Triss and Geralt step out. Hand in hand, Geralt looking the badass Witcher he was with his best cat school gear and swords. Gaetan would approve. Triss looked the regal and dominantly powerful Sorceress she was, decked out in a beautiful and regal suit of Sorceresses armor, dark-red with meteorite steel plates where they mattered, orange and red flames up her feet and legs and onto her gloves and a wicked white 14 on her left breast, fully embracing the title. She also, of course, had her signature mages staff on her back, customized and designed to be a perfect fighting weapon for the Sorceress of Maribor.
"Damn, Triss, you look completely badass, put us to shame..." Ciri called to her, satisfaction and approval in her voice, Rita and Geralt looked on in pride and approval at both Ciri and Triss.
Francesca nodded in agreement, along with Ida, Fringilla looked on with approval, and Phillipa... Well, she wasn't looking anywhere was she? Yennefer was looking at Triss with jealousy, big surprise there... But this time because that the other sorceresses were looking at her with pure respect and approval, no malice, they looked at her as the most powerful sorceress now... Even the way Triss dressed she was dressed as the leader, and as the most powerful, the fact that SHE was holding hands with Geralt coming out of the portal just increased the look, and her rage at the scene.
Francesca was looking regal as ever, fully dressed in her Queen's battle armor, she looked the closest to as badass as Triss did, she had her Queen's crown on her head, she was the only one other than Triss that was dressed up in battle gear and decked out for the battle... She had her Queen's staff on her back too, the Queen of the elves really looked good, truly regal and ready to drive the usurpers from her world, Avallac'h had filled her in on the situation with Eredin and what he did to the Aen Elle's former King. She was going to fight with them not only to keep Cirilla safe, but also to defeat the usurper and his army of riders, she would crush them, no one got in Francesca Findabair's way and lived to tell the tale.
Time rewind: 2 minutes.
Francesca stood on the deck of their ship, waiting for Geralt and Triss to arrive so that they could set sail for Undvik and gather with the emeperor's army and defeat the hunt. She stand there idly though, she stood there in thought, thinking about her kingdom... Or more accurately, her lover, the "King" and the "dom" parts would come later, she hoped, if it went the way she wanted, she almost blushed thinking of the second part...
"Gosh, I miss him and it's only been a week or so, has it? Maybe only a few days, I dunno, I just wanna get this over with so that I can go back to my kingdom, and to my king, or at least my lover that will be my king. I wonder how he is holding up in Dol Blathanna? Is he handling the council and the generals well? I haven't felt the ping from the tiles, so he must be doing well... As I knew he would, he is plenty capable of being king, I knew he would be. I wonder if he misses me like I miss him? Gosh... I used to be the mighty and powerful Francesca Findabair, Queen of the Elves and ruler of Dol Blathanna, co-founder of the Lodge of Sorceresses. Now I am also a love sick girl, missing my lover. How cliche!" She thought to herself, almost laughing at the thought, she didn't care. She used to be so lonely, and she finally had someone that loved her and would keep her company, and was also a reliable ruler as well, he was perfect in both of those roles... And many more.
"I'll get back tomorrow or today, it will be soon... This whole trip was a lot shorter than I thought it would be, they will be quite surprised when I pop in only a week after I left, after saying I would be gone a month. Cedric will DEFINITELY be relieved, haha, he's got so little confidence when it comes to doing anything I do... But on the other hand, he is quite confident when it comes to doing things with me, in every meaning of that phrase too!" Francesca thought to herself, content and happy with her situation. She had, for so long, yearned for his touch, to be loved like a woman... Turns out he wasn't confident enough to ask his Queen out, but it wasn't exactly like there was a line... In fact no one was confident enough to do that, but all she had to do was invite him over one night, and dress like a woman and not a Queen, and presto!
"Yes, my life has gone quite nicely, and it's practically just beginning!" Francesca thought to herself, right as a portal opened.
"Ahh, the lovebirds finally decided to show up! Wait, DAMN she looks good in that, where did she get that outfit? That young sorceress puts even me to shame!" She thought, impressed at Triss's display of power and regal presence, wearing her Sorceresses armor, custom made for her and fitted perfectly for her style of fighting, her staff the same and on her back like Francesca's.
(A/N, ok, the pairing between Francesca X Cedric, is practically OC x OC wouldn't you agree? What 'character' do we actually have to go off of? NONE! Like take Fringilla, don't see much of her, but you have the exchange between her and Geralt on the emperor's ship and the one that you can initiate by talking to her on the boat, so there's your 'character arc,' for her. Where is the character arc for Francesca? There isn't one, all we know is that she was said to be the most beautiful woman alive. So she is an OC character in this story, like Cedric, at least she is in everything except name. (Which isn't even in the character list of Witcher characters on , btw) And to keep it interesting, I won't get into the politics of Dol Blathanna and all that, unless it is highly requested... Why? Because that to me, OC's are always boring if the whole story revolves around their boring made up lives, so it is gonna be 95% romance related with her, hee hee! And no, her character will not just dissapear after this chapter, she will make other appearances.)
"We ready to go, Avallac'h?" Geralt asked.
"Yes, we are. You were the last to arrive, shall we set sail?"
Geralt looked to the others who nodded, and he said: "Yes, let's set sail, the sooner we crush these bastards the better."
Everyone muttered agreement, and Avallac'h said: "Indeed, let us set sail."
And with that humble phrase, they set sail for Undvik, Geralt went to talk to Gaetan who was on the far side of the ship, in the corner away from everyone else.
"What's on your mind?" Geralt asked the witcher.
"The coming battle, the two regal sorceresses, and how you decided to take after the cat school, armor, and the sword on your back."
"Ahh, quite a lot. We'll defeat the hunt, the sorceresses can be dramatic... But these two actually are regal, and the outfits suit them. I took a liking to the light armor, looks really good too, always liked to be able to move around. And the sword I put on because as the saying goes: "Witchers are safe in numbers," and with the armor and the sword, we're practically identical." Geralt elaborated.
"Haha, start wearing a cat medallion and people will think you converted! Nice of you to remember about the sword, I agree on your logic. Armor looks great, must be a master design, never seen it before."
"It is a master design... Had to do some searching, but I found em, I wasn't trained at the cat school, so I like the extra protection this offers. Making the girls blush just ain't worth risking my arm getting slliced open, no offense."
"None taken, the idea is not to get hit by the claws, then you won't get your arm cut off... But I see your logic." He deduced.
Geralt laughed at that, "haha, brilliant idea!"
"Yeah, quite a genius one, I might add." He said, chuckling.
"Best one I've heard in a while! Oh, Gaetan, I met this witcher in Novigrad... His name was Jad Karadin."
"Oh? Really?" Gaetan said, interested.
"Yes, my brother Lambert said that Karadin had ordered and carried out the killing of Lambert's friend Aiden, also from the Cat school."
"Impossible! Why would he do that?" He asked, incredulous.
"I don't know, but it wasn't true, he had been killed by an arrow through the eye from an elven sniper. Karadin didn't start it, Aiden kinda did. That's at least what I heard, anyways... Lambert still wanted to kill him, but I got him to leave him alone."
"Dunno if I believe that story completely either, but thank you, witchers are practically extinct as it is."
"Indeed... Anyways, the reason I brought it up is because he is still in Novigrad, a philanthropist now, settled down with a wife and kids, inherited from the wife of course... I still remember the location of his home, thought maybe you would wanna pay him a visit?"
"Yeah, haven't talked to the brothers in ages, unlike you wolves we cats don't have a fortress to go back to in the winter and hang out."
"We don't either, not anymore, after our teacher died, we abandoned the place. Old pile of rubble was dead as it was..."
"Damn, that's a sad story."
"It is, assassin organization called Salamandra sieged the fortress, and led to the fall of the school of the wolf."
"That sucks ass, who would be stupid enough to attack a witcher keep? These assassins highly skilled?"
"Very, I remember fighting some of them... Incredible good, but I was better of course. The mage they had with them was especially deadly, Triss was there at the time, and he actually managed to get her with a curse. They got away with our witcher secrets before we could do anything."
"How long ago was this? Can't imagine Merigold over there getting kicked around by some mage..."
"Quite a long time ago, decade maybe. She was just as surprised, would never happen now though, and I'd never let it happen either."
"I get it, shit happens. You got your secrets stolen, everyone killed, and keep trashed by assassins... Another shit tale of the life on the path. Cat school went down because the degenerates thought it was a good idea to become assassins... Like those stupid Viper school pricks."
"Mhmm, I killed the last viper school pricks, by my own hand. They killed Foltest, and then when Letho kidnapped Triss, that was the end of my rope."
"Wait, what? I take it Letho was their leader, I think I've heard the name... I'm pretty old too, you know. Anyways, how'd he capture the sorceress?"
"Small room, surprise attack... Aard signs, the usual. "He knew how to fight a Sorceress" as quoted from the Elf that died fighting to protect her, gotta tell Francesca about that elf... Deserves some honor."
"Probably a good idea, how'd you manage to kill em?"
"Letho was good, but even without my memories I was better, I saved his life once so when he beat me the first time, causing Triss to be captured, he didn't kill me... His mistake, I of course didn't remember ever saving him, and I didn't care, so when we crossed blades the second time... I killed him. The other two witchers, died another time, I think."
"Wow, impressive tale, won't ask how you lost your memories because I honestly don't care, no offense... But pretty impressive killing the leader of the viper school, we all wanted that prick dead. Good job."
"None taken, it's a really sorry and pathetic tale... And it was great, felt so good to kill that prick, for personal reasons of course."
"Of course."
"Yeah, those were the days... Chasing kingslayers across continents and rescuing lovers. Well, actually that's exactly what we're doing now..."
"How you figure?"
"Probably shouldn't tell you, but Eredin killed the former Alder folk king, saw it from an onneiromancer myself, so it's true. So technically we are chasing a kingslayer."
"HA! the irony! You know and have lived through so much shit, you should write a book."
"Suppose I could, but I'm not interested."
"Don't blame you, writing sounds so boring."
"It does."
"Hey, look we're here! Right?"
"Yep, this looks like the place, you can tell from all the Nilfucker flags."
"Ugh." He replied, and with that the cat school witcher, and the cat school wannabe both got up and walked to the group to organize their approach to this.
"So?" Geralt said.
"We will discuss things in the command tent." Avallac'h said, and walked toward the doc.
"Pfft," Francesca said, "Well? Let's go sister's." She said. They followed her. Geralt and Gaetan followed too, a little further behind.
A short while and 1 not-so-witcher friendly planning session later...
"What the hell was that Avallac'h said? "Let us hope?" Hmm, I don't trust that sage, maybe I should tell Francesca about this..." He found himself thinking that, again...
Just then he felt a magic presence behind him, and he looked back to see his beautiful sorceress standing right behind him.
"Triss? Everything all right?" He asked her, concerned.
"Yesss..." She said, conflicted. "I just... Needed to see you, talk to your before the battle."
"We'll win, Triss, we'll defe-"
"No, no more about the battle, just... Hold me, and say something nice." She told him, hugging him.
"All this snow... it makes me think of Kovir."
"And what do you think about?" She said, slight apprehension and worry in her voice...
"That it's like this all year, dark and cold." He said, his teasing not reaching his voice.
And before she could say anything he said: "And you know what? Won't bother me a bit."
"It won't?" She said, surprised and hopeful, he was being so mean to her...
"No. Because the days? Yeah, days might be short, but the nights? Nights'll be even longer." He said, romantic and suggestive.
"I can't wait," He finished.
"Ahhh, Geralt... Yesss, I love this romantic side of you."
"Only for you," He said to her.
She smiled and kissed him, "be safe, if you're not... break that tile."
He patted his special pocket where he keeps it, "I will, I promise."
"Good, I love you." She said, loving. She turned and sauntered out of the tent.
"Triss! Wait." He called. She stopped, turned around and walked back to him.
"Yes?" She said.
"Avallac'h is planning something... With Ciri, and I'm not liking it one bit." He told her, serious.
"Hmmm... I don't trust him either, do you know what?"
"No, but it can't be good."
"I agree, I will try and keep an eye on him, maybe I'll even say something to Francesca." She said, thinking aloud to him.
"I agree, I don't trust him a bit, in fact I don't trust elves much period."
"I know, we have had our share of good elves though... Cedric, Iorveth to an extent..."
"He fully supported and helped me in my critical mission to save you at Loc Muinne." He told her, approval and gratefulness in his tone.
"I got that impression..." She said.
"And Cedric fought Letho to protect you, he has my eternal respect and gratitude for that. We need to talk with Francesca and have him awarded honors."
"I agree, I quite liked him..." She said.
"Yeah... I noticed, a little too much for my liking at the time." Geralt said, serious.
"Nothing was happening between us, Geralt. I swear, he was just a helpful Elf that lost his life because of me..." She said, sad.
"Good, I was suspicious that's all, and his death was not your fault, he died a warrior's death and an honorable one." Geralf explained.
"Still can't help but regret it, I made a lot of mistakes that day... That month, that year. Geralt, I would never cheat on you, ever, since the day I first met you I've only had eyes for you." She said, leaning up to kiss him.
"Thank you, and I wouldn't ever cheat on you either. Our love is far too strong, and I only have eyes for you, among many other reasons, beautiful." He said romantically, kissing her.
"Good, I'm a very possessive woman, and you are mine." She said to him, and bit his neck.
"I'll always be yours, Triss, I'm not going anywhere. I made my choice, and that choice gave me far more than I could ever dream of, and more... It was the right choice." He told her, definitive.
"Thank you, Geralt. I never once doubted your faithfulness to me, it's all the girls that I have to chase off you with a stick that makes me possessive." She said, serious.
"Good..." He sighed, "I was worried you didn't trust me." He said to her, leaning in for a kiss.
"No! My trust and my love come hand in hand, and I love you more than you can imagine." She told him, in a loving and serious voice.
He didn't reply he just kissed her, hard.
They made out there romantically and lovingly for a few minutes, he reached his arms down to knead her ass through her Sorceresses armor, and she purred against his lips, their tongues connecting. After a few minutes they pulled away for air, gasping.
She found herself thinking again that he chose her, he wanted to be with her, it used to be a dream and now it's her reality! And it always will be, and Triss will always be the best woman/Sorceress/lover/confidant to show him how deeply she loves and appreciates him. To always try her best to make his choice more than worth it for him, even though she knew that he never regretted it for a moment, and that he loves her so much that the choice wasn't even really a choice, it was just natural.
"Even through these leggings, your hands on me feel incredible."
He just smirked. "I can't wait till we leave for Kovir, with you."
She smiled, "Soon, Geralt, soon... Ok, I need to get back to the sorceresses, be safe, I love you."
"I love you, too, Triss, very much. I'll be alright, I'm not going anywhere, I'm far too happy here with you."
She smiled and walked out.
"Wait, one more thing..." He called to her. She stopped and looked at him.
"And don't you dare leave me either, if anything happens to you I will be broken, I can't lose you again, Triss, stay safe." He told her, voice clearly saying that he meant it..
Being ignorant as usual she started: "But you wou-"
"Don't give me that shit, Triss, you know damn well that I wouldn't and never would, you and Ciri are the only family I have, I can't lose you." He said to her, deeply sincere and serious.
"He just put me and Ciri in the same category, as family... He really does love me with all his heart, and more." She thought to herself with great emotion and happiness.
She looked at him for a few moments, how his eyes held deep love and worry for her. After a few moments she looked down and nodded, then walked out slowly.
Avallac'h and Ciri activate the Sunstone, Gaetan and Geralt each lead a team of soldiers into the ice, end up getting frozen... Avallac'h tells Ciri that she needs to destroy the mages staff that cast the spell of ice. The Lodge trap the Naglfar in the bay, lead by Fringilla and Phillipa. Triss and Francesca choosing to fight instead of staying on the cliffs.
Time: Ciri begins battling Caranthir.
Cirilla Fiona Elen Rionnan dodged and wove as Caranthir signed at her with his staff, the one she needed to destroy.
A particular low swipe had her jumping to avoid, she blinked away behind him and swung for his back, Zirael dug a decently long slash into his back and he growled, swinging expertly behind him but she jumped out of the way.
"You've improved, Zirael." Caranthir taunted.
"Indeed, and I can see you're still shit!" She shouted and blinked to his right, swiping at his shoulder but he parried with his staff. He jabbed at her stomach but she dodged and jabbed her sword into his foot.
He roared in pain and started limping lightly, not enough though.
As she blinked away again she appeared directly behind him ready to pierce his heart, but he was ready and hit her hard in the chest making her fly a few feet before landing hard, she got back up and got back into the witchers defensive stance.
"You first, then those bitches of the lodge!" He screamed at her.
"WHO you calling a bitch? Whoreson?" Came a powerful voice, familiar.
Ciri looked and saw Triss step out of a portal, glowing staff in her left hand and radiating power.
"You, in fact, bitch!" Caranthir stated and teleported.
Triss knew he'd appear right behind her so she put her hands up and teleported a few feet behind her, she without even needing an incantation cast Alzur's lightning right at Caranthir's back when he appeared.
It worked, sending him flying, and a satisfying black mark to appear on the back of his armor, steaming and hissing as he was hit by it.
Not giving him any time to recover Triss teleported again, to the spot Caranthir landed and when she appeared she sent the pulse of magic through her staff to extend the prongs and the spear point, both silver this time and brought it down with all her strength aimed at his heart.
Caranthir stopped it though with his staff and pushed, sending her staggering for a second, he cast a spell at her but she easily deflected it. She summoned a fireball to rain from the sky and land on him, but he raised a shield at the last second. He teleported away and appeared in front of her swinging his staff, she blocked it and countered, he blocked it as well and brought his staff down in a deadly arch at her, she brought her staff in a horizontal block stance and it blocked it, thus giving him the opportunity to kick her hard right in the chest, sending her flying and landing roughly on the ice, tumbling hard when she landed... The wind knocked out of her and hurt badly from the impact, her Sorceresses armor the only thing preventing her from having multiple broken ribs and several large bruises and deep cuts... Although she probably did anyways, she had a deep gash on her cheek and brushes on her forehead. She groaned in pain, slowly rolling over onto her back, wincing in pain, if Ciri didn't help her, Caranthir would kill her.
"Ciri..." She groaned softly.
"You bloede D'hoine mage bitches are weak, inferior, I admit you bit hard, but put down like a dog." He mocked, raising his staff above his head.
"I'm sorry, Geralt... I was a fool, and I love you." Her final thoughts being only of her lover, as Caranthir brought his staff down on her.
The following CRUNCH could be heard like a thunderclap, drowning out all other sounds... And everything went black.
Somehow, the majestic and strategic Francesca findabair found herself battling the King of the wild hunt aboard the Naglfar!
You could hear the sound of the two of them whooshing away and reappearing somewhere, swinging and slashing, dodging and countering, Francesca wielding her Queen's staff and Eredin his lightning bolt sword.
King vs Queen, the battle for the Elves.
She brought her staff down swiftly swiftly block a low slash by Eredin and knocked him off balance with an offensive spell.
However he was good, and arguably more talented at fighting than she was, he dissapeared and before she could turn to block he slashed her down the back three times leaving three deep cuts.
She screamed in pain and frantically teleported away, to the far front of the ship, where the small nilfgaardian ship that had run into the Naglfar was stuck like a ramp.
She'd die in front of a boat from the same nation that had made her Queen... No, she won't.
She stood her ground, and she got into a stance and waited for Eredin to attack her.
He didn't disappoint... He teleported in front of her and attacked with his sword, she tried to counter but the cut in her back made she faulter.
She felt herself get blasted off her feet.
She heard the sound of steel hitting steel, and shen she got her head on straight enough to see what had happened, she sae Geralt locking swords with Eredin, Geralt pushed off and got into a stance.
"Witcher... I was hoping you'd come."
"Why?"
"Because I've something to tell you, but I'll do it after, as I watch you expire."
"Don't count on it."
And it started...
"Gaaah! Come on, show me your pirouettes, spins, dodges and faints! I want to watch."
He dissapeared and reappeared behind Geralt, who dodged and slashed at Eredin. It actually connected, slashing him nice..
After they fought for a few minutes Eredin realized he would have to fight the witcher on an open field if he was going to win... So he forced them into a portal to a place about a quarter of a mile from the battle.
Eredin would send energy craters rolling at him, and called down freezing nodes onto him, instead of wasting his energy dodging them he'd just put up a Quen active shield and absorb the blast, regenerating his stamina and giving him strength through the Quen shield.
He would dodge and counter over and over, dodging magic and repeating.
"They trained you at Kaer Morhen." He taunted.
When and if Geralt went on the offensive, Eredin would just parry effortlessly since with his Elvish height and the armor he was taller and bigger, so Geralt stuck to dodging and countering, finally after he got yet another hit landed, Eredin teleported them back to the ship.
They battled one last time, Geralt stabbing him through the eye on a spin block.
One last stand and Eredin was laying on the floor of the ship, dying, Geralt put his sword to his neck. After kicking his sword away.
"You said you had something to tell me," Geralt said in a mean voice.
"Avallac'h has tricked us both, he put us against each other, and he's made off with Cirilla."
"I don't believe you."
The king of the Wild Hunt lay defeated at last, though at what cost?
"Good... Job... Geralt." Francesca managed to say, shaky, wincing with pain.
"This is no time for praises, Francesca, are you alright? Can you walk? If not I can carry you." Geralt said to her.
"I'll be alright, I can still do this." She said and opened a portal.
"Wild hunt's army will start to swarm the Naglfar since you killed Eredin, hurry!" She said and walked through, Geralt following behind.
A/N, long chapter took long time for update... lots of editing, life problems, writing... the usual. If this chapter was tear jerking, I'll just say I'm sorry and it was supposed to be, everything will be OK, maybe... Anyways, I could have kept the chapter rolling but I feel like this was the end of this chapter, it's like just let it end... The rest will be next chapter, as I said before, my ending is going to be a bit different than the game. Please review, reviews transfer into updates and ideas, which make the story better! Please review! Till next chapter, which will also be important, everything gonna be explained next chapter, don't like cut yourself or any of that... because that would be bad... Explanations will be done!
