Asleep and deeply, Lianne was
still troubled by her lack of hope. That she might never have a family of her
own disturbed her even while sleeping the sleep of the exhausted. Her thoughts
came clearly to her conscious bedmate. Reyn nodded in comprehension of the
agony in her heart. Now that he knew her trouble he could indeed agree with her
assessment of her trouble and her thought that he would not like to help her.
Had it only been any other thing!
Anything else and he would
gladly wrestle the gods themselves to give her every wish of her heart, and yet
he could not do this thing for it well might mean his own life. For a demon to
conceive a child meant that his own essence must be cleaved asunder and he must
pour pure power into the vessel chosen to bear his offspring. If anything went
wrong all would be lost the power could not be sealed up again and would drain
the demon dry and burn up the vessel in the process.
“So sorry darling! But I can
not help and that leaves you with even fewer options then before!” he
whispered, then he disappeared in a swirling of aircurrents that were sucked in
to fill the void where he had just been. She did not even awaken, worn out as
she was with the soul shattering glory of the previous twentyfour hours. He
returned, making his appearance nearer the door so that Lianne would be spared
the cold breeze that marked his passing hither and yon. “Sweeting, wake up it
is time for breakfast.” He called out softly.
Lianne sprang up from the bed
as if possessed. She fell on the warm bread and sweet fruits he presented for
her morning meal with vigor. Her utter lack of table manners amused him so much
he began to chuckle. She glared at him with her cheeks still stuffed with her
last bite. This made him break out into open laughter. She continued to glare
for a moment more, then swallowed and joined him in laughing.
The week of bliss that
followed almost erased her heart’s sorrows...almost. It was the last day that
she would spend in the fortress home of Reyn. He strolled in with her morning
breakfast, this time waffles covered in heavy cream and fresh strawberry
slices. She ate with gusto as was her habit, stopping only long enough to try
to coerce him into sharing her meal with her. He refused so she ate it all
herself.
That finished she stood and
asked politely to be allowed to bathe. It had been two days since her last bath
and she longed to be clean again. “Of course my dear.” This time she did
convince him to join her in the bathing pool he caused to materialize between
the flames and his bed. He was lazily rubbing circles on her belly with a
soaped rag when he brought up her painful trouble from out of no where.
“I wish that I could aid you
Lianne. It would please me greatly for you to have my child, but the risks are
far to great for us both. Should anything go wrong in the process both demon
and vessel are destroyed.” She sighed and
he wiped away the tear that trickled down her cheek. Then as if he was
determined to make her forget all her troubles Reyn bade her rinse herself of
and then when they got out he proceeded
to lick every drop of water from her body.
Her flesh hummed when he urged
her to part her knees and then licked his way to her center. As he flicked the
forked part of his tongue over her bud she struggled to stay standing. Thinking
all of a sudden of what she had wondered about asking before Lianne humbly sent a request to her impassioned
lover. “Since it is the last day we shall spend together for some time I will
do so gladly.” He replied then in a flash he became his vampire hunter self.
Still obviously demonic in his nature but also appearing far closer to human.
His eyes she did not insist he change, for she liked the black colored iris’s
silver pupils and red colored whites the hue of hearts blood. Looking into them
made her long to have him inside her.
Reyn licked her over every bit
of her tenderest flesh and teased her
with fingers and tongue until she wanted to scream then he rolled her over and she braced her hands on
the edge of the bathing pool. Even in his false human form his length was huge
and his forceful thrusts made her tremble and reach her peak several times
before he allowed himself to come.

She returned to her lord once more, determined to never leave his
side for more then a day again. Unfortunately determination is often not all
that is needed to achieve ones desires. Lianne was seated at her Lord’s feet
before the flames, reading once again from the Tome of Rathmus. Her lord too
was at his own studies, learning some kind of advanced ship craft. She looked
up at the spine of the book he had propped up on a stand. “Whatever would you
need Villimonteir’s Shipwrights Primer for?” She asked. Lord Raziel looked down
on her and smiled like a teacher who was most pleased with his student. “The number
of Humans in the allied villages and Clan strongholds is far to low. On the
other continent they have quite an excess of your kind. It is the plan of Lord
Kain to build a small fleet of very well equipped ships to sail over and bring
back a few flocks of humans to supplement your flagging numbers.”
Lianne smiled at her lord, a
habit she had found it was impossible to resist. “But Milord, how are you going
to convince them to come back with you. Surely these people will have families
, businesses and lives they do not wish to abandon to become a vampire’s
property. Across the sea they also have hunters Milord, who are most dangerous.
Reyn told me that many of his brethren have gone into this business since
the humans and other creatures pay gold
for the deaths of the ones who do not follow the strict laws regarding the
practice of vampirism. It could be terribly dangerous.” She said.
“It is sweet of you to worry
about me my Lianne, but unwarranted. You will be journeying with me so what
danger could I fear? None with your sorcery to protect me!” Raziel teased. She
bowed her head and flushed when she realized that had he not known her as he
did that would have sounded like a challenge to his strength. No human with any
sense offered a vampire of his many centuries such a challenge. Or at least not
if they wished to live to see the welcome rays of dawn. “It is unfortunate but
once before Kain tried to encourage colonists to come over under the free
villages treaty but they refused outright, so now we must resort to slavery and
piracy to get what we require.” He explained. His Lianne looked sad for a
moment, then seemed to shake it off. “Why Must you do these things Milord?” She
inquired.
“I am the only one skilled
enough to design and oversee the construction of such a fleet. I am like that
male ancestor of yours that cared only to be an architect. Engineering and
design are were my talents lie not in magic.” She smirked and said, “I can
think of a few more areas where you have a great deal of talent.” His grin was
full of fang, and his eyes now glowed like golden embers, full of desire. She
rose up from her seat at his feet and went to the door. opening it she stepped
out side, and just before she slammed it she said, “Catch me if you can!”
Kain was walking down the hall of his favored son’s fortress when
Lianne streaked by him at an incredibly rapid speed. She was running at her
best pace, full out, arms and legs pumping forcefully. As she blurred by he
knew she was using magic. Even a Human servant wasn’t that fast on their own.
The reason why she was running so fast streaked by on the other side of Him.
his eldest son was making all speed in an attempt to catch Lianne. Even at such
a pace he could see that his son did not pursue her as food, but as a mate. “Seems
like a fun game Raziel! Might I join you in the chase?” Kain called out. A
guttural response of, “Come ahead father!” Was all he caught before his son
turned a corner and disappeared.
He stretched carefully, giving
his son and the woman Lianne a few more minutes head start, then he took his
mark like a runner in a race and shot off faster even then Raziel had been
going. Kain soon closed the gap between himself and his eldest child. Ahead
they could both see her firm rear moving almost seductively as she ran as hard
as she could. They looked at one another and grinned. “A repeat of the harvest
festival?” Kain inquired? “You may have top this time!” Raziel agreed. They
both winked at one another and increased their speeds. before they had been
performing at human super athlete levels, now they were in the bottom ranges of
Vampire Lord abilities.
Lianne looked back and saw two not one ferally grinning Vampire
Lords behind her. “Oh so that’s how it is now eh? Fine then here’s a challenge
for you both to overcome!” She shouted over her shoulder. Then Lianne began to
speak another spell. Bright white wings grew from her back exploding outwards
with a snap, and carrying her aloft. They had not flesh too them, being made of
solid magical energies. She managed to attain an altitude of about six feet off
the floor, the ceiling vault was about eight feet above her. She glided now,
her former momentum carrying her even faster now that she had taken a more
aerodynamic shape. her wings almost brushed the walls on each side of her. then
a person appeared down in the middle of the hall she had just turned into.
“Darn it Jeremy! Get out of
the way!” She shouted. Her Vampire cousin dove to one side and went down on one
knee, safely out of the path of his relative and her pursuers. Several other
halls were even more filled with humans and Vampires but these were used to
something being chased through the halls daily and knew to dive and dodge out
of the way when they saw the flying human and her Lordly hunters coming.
With a cry of unadulterated
joy, Lianne flew up the short flight of steps and out onto the battlements. She
had never imagined flying could be such a pleasurable experience! That and the
euphoria of being far ahead of her pursuers made her almost giddy with delight.
She looked back and saw that they were still reasonably close. It was time to
test out the capabilities of her new appendages. She snapped them fully open
and began beating them in time with her throbbing heart. This made Lianne’s
speed increased twofold at least. She laughed wildly and beckoned to her
hunters with her right hand. “Come on and get me! You’re not even really
trying!” The gesture seemed to say. Kain and Raziel screamed like they were
both frustrated, starving fledges, a truly frightening sound if ever she had
heard one. She could tell though that the two were having the time of the
century pursuing her this way. She turned the corner and winger her way along
the South wall of the battlements. Still beckoning as she had before every other
moment.
“How might we do this? If we drag her down as a cat does a bird
she will loose most of the skin on her underside as well as maybe breaking her
neck!” Raziel asked of his maker. “I have a way to catch her without harming
her Raziel, but the change to us will be permanent.” Kain whispered his answer
in his son’s ear. “How?” Raziel asked again. “We too may have wings but ours by
our very nature are forbidden the stuff of light. ours must be of our own flesh
and grown from our own backs. Are you ready?” He asked his favored progeny.
"Yes Father! Do it!” he cried out. Kain fell back behind his eldest son
and lay his claws side by side in the space right between Raziel’s shoulder
blades. A single word sent a pulse of power through his eldest’s flesh and
began the growth process. He reached behind himself and placed a similar pulse
between his own shoulder blades. A moment later Raziel screamed out again, his
cry more pained then desirous. The wings ripped forth from his back and arched
out into the moonlit night. Kain’s own ripping out a moment later. A few quick
flaps flung any clinging gore and black blood from the wings that dried to be a
supple leathery texture like unto a bat’s. Kain’s were as green as the rest of
him with darker veins coursing through them. Raziel’s were a golden tawny color
several shades darker then his eyes, with ebony colored claws at the points
where they bent. Kain’s claws were also black on his wings.
Lianne looked back and saw the two lifting off the battlements,
learning the rhythms of flight that had been implanted magically into her
muscles. The two Lords learned exceptionally fast though. It was probably
natural for vampires to get wings at a much later life stage. Yet Kain had
forced it in himself and Lord Raziel. It occurred to her why they did this. If
thy had tried to pull her from the sky she would have been very seriously
injured if not killed. Their concern made her feel very warmly inclined towards
her pursuers, even more so then before.
She had reached the Northern
battlements, and she knew that soon it would grow boring for the two to merely
chase her around the familiar ground. So Lianne flung another beckoning gesture
at the vampires and flew off the battlements in a power dive. She entered the
woods and began to weave in and out of the tree cover. “ Come on Milord’s! Or
is little old me too fast for your elderly selves to keep up?” Lianne teased
them. Then she took another extreme route through he thickening trees, slowing
the vampire Lords on her tail just a bit.
Kain roared in defiance of her little maneuver. She was skilled at
this, proving that he was right to insist on her joining his son in the quest
to bring more humans back into their lands. Her magic would be a great help,
and if he knew her peculiarities at all she would also talk the abducted humans
into being good little slaves rather then defiant captives. In her mind it
would be for their own good. Kain flew in close and grinned at Raziel. “I have
a plan my son. You stay on her trail while I try to get in ahead of her. Then
we shall close the vice and she is caught!” Raziel nodded and turned back to
the pursuit of their prey. His son’s eyes gleamed like blood red embers now. If
Lianne thought that he would be gentle with her when they caught her she was
very mistaken. Kain knew himself very well, and he had not intention of
restraining his passions ether. She was going to be on very exhausted human
come the dawn!
Lianne sighed in ecstasy at
the heat she felt from Lord Raziel. Usually
her love was gentle with her, as if he might break her, and rightly so
since he very well could break her if he did not restrain his titan-like
strength. This time however, all of his control had been overridden by the
powerful lust the hunt brought forth in him. If that was so she was sure that
Kain would be in a similar state, with only marginally more control. “Now won’t
this be exciting!” She whispered to herself.
Kain flew up and up and up
until he could see the gleam of Lianne’s moonbeam wings, then he watched her for
a moment. His rapid clever vampire’s mind combined with the skills of a general
when it came to strategy soon allowed him to determine the pattern that Lianne
was unconsciously using to judge which way to turn. Kain saw a clearing up
ahead on her course a ways and knew it would be a perfect spot to spring the
pincher trap. He flew down and landed on a tall outcrop of rock. He faced the
direction Lianne would be coming from and reached out to Raziel’s mind. Be ready Raziel. The trap will be closing
in about two minutes. Kain sent and received an affirmative response.
Lianne looked back and saw
that one of her pursuers was missing. “Lovely! That means he’ll be lying in
wait someplace up ahead. Dandy trap they’ve thought up.” She murmured to
herself, then she increased her speed. She saw a clearing up ahead and knew for
certain that it would be where her run/flight ended. Had she really been trying
to evade them Lianne would have flown up and over Lord Kain and kept going, but
she was as ready as they to end this little game with it’s deeply pleasurable
conclusion.
Raziel was deeply into the
hunt, he saw Lianne pull up short, and knew the trap was sprung. He slowed and
hovered just as she was doing. He heard her say something to lord Kain but the
pounding of the blood in his veins blurred what it was. Luckily for her his
maker commanded him to catch her just in time. Her wings had been made the
quick way and ceased to exist the moment she stopped using them.
Lianne found herself clutched
by the two lords, and pressed between their muscular bodies several dozen feet
above the forest floor. Her heart was still throbbing from the exhilaration of
the hunt, and both her captors could feel it beating against them. Kain and
Raziel reared back, both sets of fangs extending to their fullest, then struck.
Their bites landed perfectly over the old marks where they had bitten her
before. Each Vampire lord took a full measure of blood, leaving Lianne slightly
dizzy from it’s loss. As always the wound’s closed upon the command of their
makers.
She looked into the bright
gleaming Eyes of her Lord’s Lord. Lianne liked what she saw there. Within his
eyes she found equal parts, pleasure, awe, amusement, and promise. Lord Raziel
slid one talon up her bare thigh all the way up till it settled around her
waist. Lord Kain did the same thing on the opposite side. when they realized
that she didn’t even have a petticoat they smirked so much alike that you would
think them brothers not maker and progeny.
Raziel slid his claws around
until they found her warm center. His soft mental chuckle, heard both by his
maker and by Lianne told them he was amused by how wet she already was. “So
very eager Lianne?” He teased. her slightly drunken chuckle was answer enough.
“She will need rest when we are through, I believe the force of her heart
caused us to take too much of her blood.” Kain told him. Raziel nodded
seriously, then the ‘boy with a much loved toy’ look returned to his face.
Kain slid her skirt up till it
bunched around her waist, revealing to his hungry gaze the perfection of form
that had driven himself and all of his sons to madness with lust. He and
Raziel realigned their bodies and slid
home in her orifices exactly in sync with each other. She cried out in pleasure
at being filled so completely. The pleasure was only enhanced by the novelty of
their position, hovering in the air with wings beating in time with one another
so that their hands would be free to caress her flesh into a fevered pitch of
excitement.
Kain looked down into Lianne’s
face and saw that even though she had passed out she was still smiling. “My own
hidden sanctuary is near, lets take her there Raziel.” he instructed his
eldest. “As you command Father.” Kain flew off in a northwesterly direction
until the reached an ancient oak almost two hundred feet high. In it’s branches
was a tree dwelling made of a wooden platform and a small structure built on
top of it. here Raziel lay Lianne on the bed and went out to hold council with
his father about the upcoming ocean voyage.
}}}A/N next chapter the
building of boats and the sad goodbye before the first voyage. And maybe the
reappearance of the villain of the piece!
