Chun Li was not superstitious. She didn’t believe in ghosts or aliens or monsters.
But she did have some rituals she believed in strongly, even if Bison rolled his eyes. She never stuck her chopsticks in a bowl of rice or ate noodles that were too long. When Chun Li got the chance, she stuck irises on the doorframe of their bedroom to repel bad spirits (though she was always disappointed when Bison easily comes through).
On one particular day, Bison couldn’t help but watch his wife tack Chinese symbols all over the bedroom. He should have been working on his reports but it was absolutely fascinating to see her almost mathematically determine where she should be putting these little slips of paper.
“I know I shouldn’t ask this but what are you doing?” Bison questioned, propping his arm on the armrest, “And more importantly, when is all this going to be removed?”
“There was ill wind from the west.” Chun Li replied, taping another card to the nightstand.
“Oh good, my wife is talking in fortune cookie riddles.” Bison had some exasperation, “Let’s pretend I’m not well-versed in whatever psychosis you’re having right now.”
“It means sickness and death.” She explained, “It blew into our bedroom. So I’m just making sure that there’s some protection.”
“It’s the jungle. That’s malaria.” Bison reminded her, “Besides, why do you think I’m going to get sick? I have infinite power.”
“It’s for me.” Chun Li said simply, “That’s why I’m putting all the cards on my side. You can fend for yourself.”
Bison rolled his eyes, getting back to work. Chun Li got finished and put her calligraphy set away, making sure the ink wasn’t going to stain anything. She didn’t need that argument again.
Standing on her tiptoes, Chun Li carefully put her calligraphy set on the shelf. Her brushes were quite important to her and ruining them would ruin her writing strokes.
Turning around, she felt her heel strap suddenly snap. Frustrated, Chun Li bent over to see the problem: part of her shoe had snapped where the ankle strap meets the arch.
“Overpriced piece of--” She muttered before a loud crash was heard behind her. Chun Li jumped away as the shelf suddenly collapsed, shattering ink bottles and breaking their shared items.
Bison slammed his pen down, “What did you do, Detective?”
“Nothing!” Chun Li insisted, “It broke on its own! I swear! No way my calligraphy weighs that much and I don't like your accusing tone!”
He gruffly mumbled to himself about her attitude before storming over there, inspecting the mess. After a beat, Bison gave a short grunt of acknowledgement.
“The screws gave out,” He said, “Someone will clean this up. And you should be more careful.”
“What did I do?!” Chun Li followed after him, shrill as he messaged his servants, “I put my set exactly where you made me put it! I did everything right!”
“Maybe you should have put your ridiculous little symbols on my shelf.” Bison tartly said before speaking into the receiver, “Send someone over to fix a shelf and carpet.”
Chun Li made a face, “Your shelf broke my things.”
“Your things are my property because I bought them with my money for you.” He corrected her like a grumpy tenured professor, “Which I don't have to do, by the way.”
“Sure, because you want me not distracted and able to bitch at you all the time.” She threatened, “I’ve been holding on to some good ones too that I have been itching to complain about.”
“I wish I had the foresight to remove your vocal chords when I kidnapped you,” Bison muttered, “Or remove my own hearing.”
“You could have not threatened to murder everyone, including anyone who I shared an elevator with, and not marry me.” Chun Li reminded him, “That was also an option. I begged you to take that option. The priest begged you to take that option.”
“You also could just accept your fate and stop being a colossal bitch because you're married and that's final.” He said, “Besides, what does a priest know? Their whole religion rested on what animal or rock one gets reincarnated as based on some good and evil laurels.”
“You shot the priest on our wedding day.” Chun Li spitefully stated.
“I bet he wished he had your stupid slips of paper at that time.” Bison remarked rather coolly.
A pair of servants came in, heading straight for the collapsed mess of items. The two began to argue as if they were still alone in the room, making the servants hurry quickly before there was even a bigger mess to clean up.
“It was a joke! I can’t make jokes now?”
“How is shooting a Buddhist priest a joke?!”
The servants carefully set the personal items of the married couple aside, sweeping up the dust and debris into a bag. One servant picked up the screws and tossed them away as well.
“So now my religion is a joke to you?!”
“Because you’re so religious! Religious women don’t drink enough to pass out on my floor!”
After picking up the shelf itself, the servants then discarded the broken wood and quickly vacuumed up the dust, somewhat muffling the fight a little. Another man entered, carrying tools to fix the stripped holes in the wall and attach another shelf.
“I cannot believe you won’t let that stupid chandelier go! Maybe it should have fallen on your head!”
“I wish it had fallen on your head! Perhaps it might have knocked some sense into that empty brain of yours!”
The repairman quickly caulked the wall, dabbing the damage with sealant before measuring out his shelf. The servants had begun dusting the items carefully as well as scrubbing the carpet of ink.
“You’re one to talk, Detective, about my dick! How many times have you begged me to stop fucking you so hard?!”
“You just rely on size and power, not any actual technique or talent so fuck you about your sexual prowess because it’s non-existent!”
The sound of a drill finally ended, enabling the repairman to quickly set up a new shelf. The servants had carefully placed the items exactly as they were before, dusting off the new shelf before grabbing their trash.
“Oh, what do you expect me to do?! Pick up a hobby if you’re so bored!”
“Being your sex slave isn’t a hobby! It’s domestic abuse!”
Finally, the three subordinates exited with the shelf completely fixed as if nothing had ever been wrong in the first place. Both Bison and Chun Li were fighting, carrying along in their own world before the husband pinched the bridge of his nose.
“I don’t have time for this crap.” He muttered, “I’m running late for a meeting.”
She rolled her eyes as he went into the closet to fetch his cape. Chun Li looked over the pieces of her calligraphy brushes, annoyed with the concept.
“My calligraphy set is broken.” She said out loud, “Now what?”
“Perfect opportunity to find a less filthy hobby.” Bison called out from the closet, “Or working on personal development like not being a complete bitch.”
Chun Li stared daggers at him as he exited, watching him fasten his cape. She sat on the bedside, Indian style, as the master of the home started to procure his papers.
This was ample opportunity to pepper Bison with questions to irritate him.
“When are you going to be home?”
“What’s the meeting about?”
“Who has meetings this late?”
“What does the “M” stand for anyway?”
Bison eluded most her questions with simple one word answers (“Late”, “Business”, “Me”) but the last one he merely skipped over. However, Chun Li piped up with another one.
“Can I watch movies on the screen?”
He had to groan. That one sparked a much more elaborated answer.
“No. Absolutely not.” Bison replied, “Read a book.”
“I’ll watch movies based on books.” She suggested rather smugly, as if that was the winning answer. He shot her a dirty look.
“Movies are uneducated swill. It’ll fill that empty brain with nonsense and eroding your mental state.” Bison stated rather sternly, “Besides, you get too involved in them. You have an extremely active imagination.”
“I cried one time when the dog died!” Chun Li indignantly said, “One time! Dogs shouldn't die in movies!”
“I meant…” He trailed off, making small circles with his hand as if he was trying to hurry up the conversation, “You know what? I really don't have time. Do what you want. I’ll get you another calligraphy set later.”
Chun Li made no secret in her loud “Yay!” cheer as she scrambled off the bed to call in for movies. Minutes later, an assistant brought in a laptop and handed it to her. Gleefully, she began to browse through the selection like a little kid in a candy store.
Her favorite genre, aside from detective thrillers, was horror. Specifically, low budget Chinese horror movies. There was just something appealing about supernatural ghosts and goblins tormenting blood of the innocents.
Chun Li found one that translated to Fantasy Loving Wife. There wasn't really a synopsis but the cover looked like bad Photoshop so she was already loving it.
Laying on her stomach, she pressed play. Bison had finished gathering up what he needed before spotting the obvious horror aesthetics in the title.
“You better not keep me up all night.” Bison warned, rolling his eyes at her settling in for her movie, “Why do you even watch such trash? It's not real.”
Chun Li scoffed, “Sorry your real life is an actual horror film but I like them. I don't have to like “tasteful” things every single second of the day and be a hollowed out grump.”
“I don't argue with childish women. Watch whatever nonsense you want but if I lose an ounce of sleep tonight, you are going to regret it.” The Master of Psycho Power threatened with some frustration, “I mean it, little girl. You better not be begging me to check under the bed.”
His lover upturned his statement with a huff of air, “Trust me, buddy, I’d rather sleep with the monster under the bed than the monster in the bed.”
Bison gave a short burst of clicks from his throat before he leaned over the bed, giving her a rough kiss on the cheek. Chun Li flinched a bit at his tense expression of twisted affection.
“Don't stay up too late.” He warned her, leaving her to her movie. Chun Li made a dismissive motion with her hand, starting to curl up to her movie. The beginning, cheesy montage began to roll upon some busty, nameless girl who picked the wrong day in heels to run away from a unknown force.
The quality of the helpless actress is how Chun Li knew how bad this movie was going to be and the terrible quality was going to be excellent. She eagerly watched the girl meet her demise against this strange, unseen force.
She wondered if she should ask for snacks to be brought up but then remembered how much she hated popcorn now.
Within minutes, there was an old woman telling the backstory to another pair of helpless, busty, Asian girls: the legend of Yuan-Shui. The Emperor’s faithful wife. The Mistress of Evil.
Chun Li remembered the legend of Yuan-Shui like it was told to her yesterday. Her father used to scare her with stories before bed (probably regretting it later when she begged to sleep in his bed).
Yuan-Shui was the wife of an emperor who took her role very seriously. She was devoted, beautiful, and hard-working. But her husband demanded nothing but her absolute loyalty so Yuan-Shui would prove her love to him every day. Eventually, the Emperor demanded that she bring young women to him to serve as his concubines and Yuan-Shui agreed, wanting to please him. So she would roam the countryside, kidnapping girls and bringing them to him.
The Emperor would die soon and Yuan-Shui, heartbroken, began to kill young girls to serve her husband in the afterlife. She would bind their necks to pillars and draw blood, letting his spirit drag them away.
Yuan-Shui was said to look like a beautiful noblewoman but have strange, painted features. Her teeth would be sharp like a fox or bear. Her skin was pale white and her hair was dark as night. Pale, purple eyes that could hypnotize...
The story used to terrify Chun Li as a girl and she would never play outside too far from her father. Undoubtedly, the tale’s purpose was so that girls wouldn’t play too far from their protective fathers but Chun Li was never really one for rules until that story came about.
As she watched the movie progress, Chun Li had a tightened grip on the pillow. She wasn’t really into the film anymore, remembering her own fears and tummy churnings as a six year old girl laying in bed. Young Chun Li was utterly convinced that Yuan-Shui was standing over her bed, ready to snatch her to her ultimate doom…
It was as if the film was getting much more terrifying to her. While the makeup on the actor who played Yuan-Shui was cheap at best, Chun Li could visualize something even worse. The sleek face of her jawline morphing into the predatory, unhinged jaw that revealed sharp teeth. The slanted eyes that were all bright purple, staring straight through an abyss. Her haunting white skin, painted to perfection with blood of innocent girls…
The last girl was on screen. The heroic girl. Of course. The last girl always lives. Even the feared Emperor’s wife couldn’t defeat movie logic!
Chun Li anxiously watched the girl try to destroy the spirit. Old Chinese folk remedies and salt, perished to the Earth. The young girl was then tied up because the tension had to be built but the Shadaloo wife convinced herself that she would be safe. After all, the film just had to make people think she was going to die.
Suddenly, the heroic boyfriend burst through the scene!
“Yes!” Chun Li cheered, grateful. While she often hated the old “damsel in distress” adage, she was thankful there was a man to rescue her this time. Yuan-Shui was summarily locked back into the spirit world forever.
Easy now, Chun Li realized there was about three minutes left. She had her finger poised over the stop button.
In a twist of fate, the heroic boyfriend had taken the girl to another location that was dark and dreadful. The girl, seemingly naive and innocent, asked where he was. The boy then...turned into the goddamn dead Emperor that Yuan-Shi served!
“What the fuck!? What kind of movie is this?!” Chun Li screeched, more pissed off than she should be, “So that undead bitch is alive?! These filmmakers should be shot! Should be hanged! Fuck this movie!”
Out of fright, she chunked the laptop off the bed and smashed the screen. Chun Li angrily stormed off to the bathroom, careful to avoid any dark spaces as she turned on all the lights possible in the bathroom.
She wasn’t scared. It was just a movie! But still, people shouldn’t mess around with things like that! Why didn’t the Chinese government do something? Censorship her ass!
Chun Li then pulled over her clothes and stepped in her shower. The hot water started to spray out of the showerhead, making her hesitate as she stepped in. Then, she heard a loud noise.
“Ah!” She screamed, “Go away!”
“I’m so-sorry, Mistress! I’m just cleaning the mess!” A male voice apologized profusely. Catching her breath, Chun Li put her hand on her chest and tried to calm down. Of course. They must have heard the crash and came to tidy up.
“Okay!” Chun Li called out, still swallowing gulps of her terror, “That’s fine. Sorry.”
She started to take her shower, rinsing herself off. However, she couldn’t help but think that she was a prime target for a murderer or ghost (or worse, a lustful husband). Bison had snuck up on her plenty of times while she was showering so the concept was simple enough.
Her stomach started to hurt. Turning off the shower quickly, Chun Li grabbed her dry towel and wrapped the cloth around her. Taking a deep breath, she raced out of the shower and peeked out the door. The bedroom was so big and dark, something she never noticed before. Plenty of places for something supernatural to hide...
Chun Li tightened her grip on her towel. It was just a story. Nothing was wrong.
However, she still ran and turned on every single light which she knew her husband would be groaning about later. But to be safe than sorry! Then she grabbed the first pair of underwear and sleep gown she could have and threw them on. Twisting her hair up on her hair, Chun Li hid under the covers.
This was a safe place. Nobody was allowed in Bison’s bed. Maybe he had extra security just for that purpose, like machine guns or a elite sniper trained on the mattress. Chun Li huddled under the massive amount of covers, trying to control her fear.
Nobody was here. Just her.
However, she felt a stroke going down her body above the covers as if someone was sizing her up. Chun Li froze in terror, trying not to lose it completely. The hand felt soft and gentle, as if she was a baby kitten to be petted. A scoff, perhaps too womanly, was echoing through her ears.
Oh God, Yuan-Shui! She finally came for her!
Footsteps going towards the bathroom was heard. Water was running. Was Yuan-Shui cleaning her blade? Readying her rope? Chun Li didn’t want to think anymore. She slipped out of bed and shoved her slender body under the bed. Fuck this bitch! She spent over two decades eluding this cunt and she wasn’t going to make her marry someone again!
Chun Li wondered if she could scream loud enough to bring Bison here for a showdown.
The footsteps came back. This time, they were lighter like air. She hugged herself, feeling the weight get on the bed. The spirit must have been confused because she felt a hard thump on the mattress as if someone had sat on the bed.
“Hm.” A reply from the terrible Mistress of Evil. Clearly thinking of their next move.
Chun Li tried to be silent but she saw a foot come before her eyes. Before she could inspect the appendage further, she felt someone grab her leg and start pulling her out from the bed. Thrashing and fighting for her life, Chun Li could only think of one thing.
“Ahhugh!” She screamed, kicking the spirit hard. Her bare foot connected with the ribs.
“What the hell is wrong with you!?” The spirit angrily snapped before Chun Li blinked as her smaller frame lurched forward to an upright position.
Bison had her by the collar, looking pissed off. He was only wearing his sleep pants and nothing else, now sporting a small bruise on his stomach.
“Oh…” She uneasily chuckled, “I got a little carried away.”
“Carried away? You’re lucky I didn’t get too hurt or you’d find out what carried away means.” He grunted, letting her go, “Care to explain why you’re hiding under the bed? And why all the fucking lights in the world is on? Or is this some joke?”
Chun Li felt his grip release her but he was waiting for an answer.
“So...uh…” She stammered, “Hey, how was work?”
“Start talking or else.” Bison threatened, avoiding the question. Chun Li sighed.
“Okay, I might have been a little scared.” She confessed, seeing him glare, “You were not right. Some memories got brought up…”
“I was right. You got scared by a dumb cinema flick because you have an overactive imagination. I’m not going to argue. I was right. Now settle down and get on top of the bed.” Bison ordered, turning his back to her, “I’ve had a long day and I want to rest. Preferably, after you do your own late-night job.”
Normally, that would disgust her but Chun Li bit her lip.
“You don’t get it. There’s a ghost and she’s…”
“I don’t care for ghost stories nor do I believe in them.” He interrupted firmly, “Bed, now. I don’t want to expend what little energy I have arguing with you or listening to some dumb stories. Detective, I won’t say it again.”
Chun Li crawled into bed, crossing her arms as her husband followed under the sheets as well. He started to pull her towards him in order to get his sexytime on but she was summarily distracted, enough to bring him great annoyance.
“Detective, do you mind?” He snapped his fingers in her face as he was kissing her, “You have one job. One job.”
“I’m sorry!” Chun Li burst out into irritation, “I’m afraid! Like Yuan-Shui is going to come!”
“Oh...Je--what is so scary about this boogeyman?” Bison glared at her, baring his own teeth, “Is she some spirit that saps the sexual drive of women? Because then I would be somewhat concerned!”
“She’s...she was the wife of an Emperor and she kidnaps girls and kills them so they would serve him in the afterl…”
“That’s the dumbest story I ever heard.” Bison stated rather annoyed, completely giving up on his sexytime as he began walking to the restroom, “And I have to suffer through plenty of them from you. This is why I don’t let you watch horror movies because you get it in your head that it’s real.”
Chun Li put her hands on her hips, “It’s not that dumb!”
“Yes, it is.” He countered with exasperation, “Alright, look. Let’s pretend there’s some evil bitch ghost out there who kidnaps women for some dead husband’s harem. What makes you think I would let you go? You’re my wife. Not his. I’m pretty sure you’d be fine.”
Chun Li bit her lip, “You would fight a evil ghost for me?”
“In this hypothetical, completely unreal, fictional scenario, sure. I do pretty well in the physical realm so I would be perfectly alright fighting the supernatural realm too.” He answered, “Now will you stop? I am going to sleep. You’re going to give me a stroke.”
She relaxed her shoulders, settling into bed with him after he was done with his last routine. Bison was apparently beaten to death because he fell asleep rather quickly without initiating any additional lustful excursions.
However, Chun Li couldn’t fall asleep. Even with her husband’s proclamation, she still felt afraid. The young bride could barely keep her wits about her, much less fall asleep in a vulnerable spot.
I don’t want to be killed and taken away to a harem. Chun Li thought unhappily. Even if Bison is right, she could be faster! Maybe even stronger! Unless he’s laying on top, he wouldn’t even…
That’s it! The answer. Yuan-Shui couldn’t take a consummated woman, could she?
“Bison,” Chun Li whispered as if this meant life or death, “Wake up. Bison.”
“If this is about the ghost,” Bison mumbled into his pillow, “I’m going to hand you over myself so I can get some damn sleep.”
She paused, “...Okay, it’s about the ghost.”
“Goddamnit.” He said much louder this time, his words muffled, “Detective, I swear I am going to--”
“Put your cock in me.” Chun Li interrupted, not wanting to waste any time. There was a long pause from her warlord husband as he attempted to gather his thoughts.
“That’s...Detective, admirable, but I’m very tired…” Bison started off before she nudged him.
“No! Listen. She can’t take a married woman and you’d know if I was taken! So all you have to do is put your cock in me and fall asleep on top of me. Perfect plan! She can’t do anything about that!” She excitedly whispered, as if it was a secret, “I did deny you your rights or whatever, right?”
Now Bison was awake.
“Well, if it’ll make you feel better.” He suddenly was sympathetic, “And safer. Except you are going to have to get it hard enough to...do this plan that you have.”
Chun Li eagerly took out his softened member, deepthroating his dick right away. Bison moaned in relief, feeling her tight mouth on him. Her tongue was running across his skin like a marathon runner.
God, he never felt her so quick before. Before Bison could settle in for a blowjob of the night, Chun Li started to rub the shaft as the tip jabbed itself back to her throat. The cock was hardened, enough for her liking.
“Okay, put the cock in.” Chun Li spread her legs. Bison sighed.
“Can you just finish?” He muttered, thrusting himself in her tight, wet pussy, “Fuck. So tired. Nevermind. Just…”
Bison passed out, his blood away from his brain and into his cock. Chun Li giggled to herself, feeling her husband deep inside of her. No ghost could do this now!
His cock was firmly inside of her, letting her feel safe. Chun Li wrapped her arms around his neck for extra layer of protection and fell asleep.
However, she had this strange dream. She was laying on a beach, under a huge umbrella, and this octopus was between her legs. Thrusting a tentacle in her body or what she thought was her body. There wasn’t any pleasure, just the motion.
Confused, she felt her body tremble. Slowly coming to, she realized that Bison was humping her body but he was still dead asleep! His grinding was minor compared, just subtle enough. But when Chun Li felt a shiver go down her spine, it was enough to compel him to fuck her harder.
He began to fuck her deeply, as if his hips were controlled by something else. Chun Li knew she wasn't wet enough anymore for him so each thrust was painful and aching.
“Hey! St-stop!” Chun Li tried to kick him off but his sleeping body was too heavy, “Wake up, you pervert!”
Bison's body continued to thrust into her, pretty much sleep fucking at this point. Chun Li felt his ramming deep inside of her, making her womb burn with desire. She was starting to warm up to him, lubricating herself.
“Dad-Daddy…” She cried out, “Sto-stop dreaming of...me... you're so...rou-rough…!”
He laid his head next to her ear, grunting like a caged animal. His breath was rugged and hard, like he was fighting.
“My...my detective…” Bison mumbled, clearly in deep sleep, “So...cute...tight…”
Chun Li felt his cock erupt inside of her, making her whimper. Surely he’d stop now? Now she wished some ghost bitch would kidnap her. This was so disgusting, how much Bison came into her.
He collapsed on her, seemingly spent now. His seed was starting to leak out. She tried to squirm out but he was too heavy to push off.
“Asshole,” She muttered, “Get off.”
Wrong choice of words.
His body was being possessed by something else entirely. As if he was running through the motions, Bison flipped the young wife on her stomach and began to thrust in her ass. Chun Li shrieked, starting to fight back but his grip and weight was too strong as he held her down.
“Stop! Stop!” She yelled, trying to deter him but damn, Bison had a long day. Nothing was getting through to him!
“Uhnf...Detective...my...my...wife...so fucking tight…” He grunted, sleeptalking, “Ass...I want...hole…”
Chun Li honestly couldn't believe what was happening. He was now deep inside her ass, stretching her beyond her limits. How was a sleeping guy even able to?!
“Daddy, st-stop, please…!” Chun Li wiggled, “Oh...God, it feels so good...Daddy...stop…!”
The mattress started to move under her body. Was Chun Li molesting Bison against his will or was she being molested against her will by a sleeping barbarian? The ethics were a little muddy in this situation.
Her ass was destroyed, stretching around his monster cock. His balls were swollen with deep, drenched cum that Chun Li just knew would fill her up. One night Bison goes without sex and his balls were as blue as the sky or Chun Li’s old qipao.
The slender hand of Chun Li clenched around the sheets as Bison finally came inside of her tight hole. He then slumped over her body again, finally passing out completely into his dreamland as his seed was spent.
Chun Li wished she had just stayed under the bed.
Hours later, Bison woke up on top of her, realizing his wife had gotten sexed up as he slept. He did think his dream was more intense, something that he was not very used to. Bison wondered if he sleeptalked again, as he was prone to do and Chun Li had complained about before.
It was a very vivid fantasy about the first time they fought, with Chun Li wearing that tight little jumpsuit...just letting him fuck her brains out after Bison beat her soundly into the ground…
It also helped that his dream wife was an insatiable little slut and she didn't wear any undergarments under that thin fabric. He could practically draw the lines her womanhood made in those bottoms…
He should tell her to wear that for him. Maybe if Bison sat through more of her superstitious stories, he could convince her that wearing that leotard would save her spirit from monsters.
