"Where to go?..." Link thought, slowly beginning to walk forward. His mind slowly turned back to Din. "...What will I do if I got her pregnant? Will I make a good father?" Link shook his head. Strange." Link muttered. He continued to make his way over to the bridge. He nearly reached it when he heard something like the clapping of thunder. He looked up. The cloud was still white as snow. Link shrugged. "Aaaaaah!!" He heard someone cry. Link looked up. Something suddenly crashed into him!

The top of the dress, near her neck, seemed to have some kind of scarf attached to it, with a long apron-style fabric sheet hanging down from it. She had long, red hair, almost as long as her body, but then again, she wasn't that tall because she was young. Two golden hoops wrapped around her hair, turning it into a ponytail. The hoops were situated near the back of her head. A long mane of hair hung down in front of each of her ears, reaching down past her jaw slightly. She had full lips, enticing Link. She had big, red eyes, which confused Link slightly. But he thought they were mysterious and beautiful. What shocked Link the most was the fact that she had no nose- Instead, she seemed to have something like the top part of a beak! Two small holes could be seen on either side of her beak-like nose, near the front point. "What the..." Link thought. She stared into Link's eyes with a smile. "Hello!" She said happily.
"Hello!" Link said back, smiling. The girl got off of him, standing up. Link stood up as well. Link finally saw the design on the front of her dress. It was three crescent moons, like the Zora's Sapphire. She looked around, a confused look on her face. "Where am I?" She asked. Link glanced around without moving his head. "You're in Hyrule." She looked at Link, a shocked look on her face. "Hyrule??" She exclaimed. Link nodded. "But...That's impossible! Hyrule flooded into the Great Sea!" Link raised an eyebrow. "What?" He asked. She nodded. "Yeah, Hyrule flooded a long time ago...I'm not quite sure why exactly...I kind of forget..." She blushed slightly. Link looked around, and caught a glance at the girl's feet. He raised both eyebrows in mild shock. Her feet were covered in what looked like some sort of scale, yellow in appearance. They reminded him of bird's feet. "...What are you?" Link asked. She looked at him. "...I'm a Rito."
Link looked at her still with raised eyebrows. A moment of awkward silence passed as they stared at each other. "...What's a Rito?" Link asked. She looked around once more. "Man, I must've been sent back in time or something...Must be hundreds of years into the past...How am I gonna get home?" She muttered, seemingly ignoring his question. Link closed his eyes with a sigh. "Could you at least tell me your name?" He asked, opening his eyes. She smiled at him. "Sure! I'm Medli. Pleased to meet you." Link smiled. "I'm Link." Medli nodded, but quickly placed a hand on her stomach. Link could faintly hear something almost like gurgling. "Ooohh...I skipped lunch today...." Link chuckled. Medli looked at him with an embarrassed smile. "I don't suppose you have any food?" She asked. Link shook his head. "Not on me, but I can take you somewhere where there is food." Medli smiled. Link heard an evil cackling. "Oh boy..." He muttered. He quickly swung around, unsheathing his Master Sword and pulling out his Mirror Shield. A poe floated nearby, holding up it's lantern menacingly. "What is it?" Medli asked, standing by Link. "A Poe! Get behind me!" Link said urgently. Medli shook her head. "No way, if it's a bad guy I wanna help!" She said defiantly. Link shook his head as the poe cackled once more, doing a twirl and turning invisible. "Frig, get behind me!" Medli stared into his eyes, and stepped behind him, but she didn't seem happy to do so. A ball of fire leapt at Link, from his right. He spun around, Medli staying behind him. He raised his Mirror Shield, and the flames disappeared when they hit it. The poe appeared in front of Link again. It laughed, like a taunt. "Wait...That laugh...Is that the poe that's attacked me twice now?!"
Link's face grew angry. The poe twirled towards him, spinning it's lantern in an attack. Link forced the poe back with his shield, and then slashed downwards. The poe shrieked, and turned invisible once more. Because Link had rushed forward with his shield, Medli stood apart from him, looking around for the ghost. Link closed his eyes. "Where is it...Where is it..." He thought. He suddenly heard a strange humming near him, to his left. "GOTCHA!!!" Link shouted. He threw his Master Sword, it spinning in the air. The sword stopped in midair. The poe appeared, it's arms wide. It let out a cry, before it dropped it's lantern. It smashed against the ground. The poe's body began to disintegrate, ashing away. The Master Sword fell to the ground. "YEAH!!!" Link yelled triumphantly. A small purple flame appeared, near the sword. "I got you, you sonuvabitch!" Link shouted. He ran forward, and kicked the Poe's spirit. It blew away. "Haha, mothafucka!" Link shouted. He raised his arms in the air, saying "And one more bites the dust." He turned back to Medli. She watched him with wide eyes. Link stared back at her. "...What?" He asked.
Medli shook her head, and said "I'm just surprised. You got rather worked up over defeating that creature." Link grinned embarrassingly. "Well, that damn poe had been haunting me for a little bit, so I was glad I killed it." Medli nodded slowly, and then placed both hands on her stomach again, making a face. "Ooohh...Could we get some food now?" She asked. Link nodded. "Sure." They began walking together towards the drawbridge, which wasn't that far away. "So, Medli...Tell me about yourself." Medli looked forwards again. They had just passed the drawbridge, and were passing by a guard who smiled at them. "How did you end up here?" Link asked her. "How should I know?
