Note: this Chapter, which as per my modus operandi is late beyond belief, represents a time skip in the Fat Man Chronicles timeline. The reason is I realized that I was turning the whole thing into a level per chapter affair, where Lara essentially was learning a new skill in bed or for bed every chapter. While that certainly fits the spirit of the source material being a game and all, it makes for very plodding story telling. I’m sure I could manage to spice it up and make it interesting, but that was more effort than my lazy mind could handle, which contributed to me not updating for nearly a year.
So, this chapter essentially skips all of Lara’s “training”, and I’ll fill in the details regarding that as I go, whether in flashbacks or in expository. The story picks up again, six months after the previous chapter, “Kitty Play”.
At one point this was supposed to be a Dec 25^th release for the holidays, and parts of the chapter retain that motif, but the date came and went and I still didn’t like the chapter all that much. But I figured it’s not going to get any better if I stall anymore, so this chapter does take place during Christmas, but the next chapter won’t really need a time setting other than it being sequential.
Also, when I read Bitamin's updates to his Tomb Raider fic, I’ve really been humbled. Unlike me who tend to abuse stuff like semen and orgasms, this guy has really managed to flesh out his scenes. From now on, I'm making a promise to myself to try doing more of that as well, without copying him outright of course XD. It’s a shame that he seems to have removed all of his fics from the AFF. They showed such potential.

Chapter 16: Christmas, A Time of Giving
