The last train out of Dusk City whirs along the track, the evening sun glittering off its windows as it ventures into the forested mountainside. The train is pretty packed, as rows upon rows of tall and muscled people line the seats. Some sit quietly, but many are having a friendly chat about what they’ll do once they’re untethered beneath the light of the full moon.
Roxas must have looked pretty out of place among the lot of them: propped up to gaze out the window, and smaller than everyone else. He also dons a bright-red cloak with a hood that obscures his face; eerily resembling that of the Organization’s favored garb. It hangs tattered and worn in some places, in the rugged way that tells you someone is just dangerous enough to avoid… so most of them ignore him.
Though this wouldn't be his first freelancing job outside of the city by any means, something about it felt a little off. It’s the first time since he left the Organization that a job had made him uneasy.
A couple years ago, he discovered what the Org had been hiding about their connection with Xehanort, and the rest was history. Any other person would have been a fugitive to them, especially with the knowledge he possesses, but he was far too powerful for them to hunt. So he was simply a deserter, and for the time being they’ve let him be.
His leaving led to Sora’s departure as well, and when the reasoning behind such a massive severance made it to Mikaeus, a storm began brewing. They were teetering on the cusp of a nightwalker war, and Roxas was right in the middle of it… but, for now, he had money to make. His work cleaning up whatever messes the Org neglects is how he survives now. He, Cloud, Leon, and Tifa opened up a nice little mercenary side-hustle, which they dubbed Avalanche, and the results as of late have been successful.
Despite this, it’s been a little lonely because Roxas misses Sora and Riku’s company. He very quickly developed a crush on Riku after all that time the three of them spent together: going on missions, experimenting with new magick, and practically attached at the hip. If someone had told him how close they would become after those first terrifying encounters, he would have scoffed; after all, Riku has a gnarly scar because of him. His dear friend Sora and eager crush Riku felt like they’d vanished into thin air now, as if they were distant dreams drifting in his subconscious.
But both of the nightwalkers had their own lives to deal with. Kairi didn’t ask for much, and that’s part of what made Riku’s aim to please her so mighty. That’s also what made their breakup so spectacularly unexpected. Sora, in the meantime, had Princely duties to attend to; if a war was on the horizon, then he needed to be ready to inherit His Majesty’s throne sooner rather than later. Once Roxas left the Org, King Mickey saw no further use of the partnership. It was probably for the best, anyway… heartache was another weakness he couldn’t afford.
If he was desperate enough, it’d be easy to find someone to fall into bed with. If he really wanted to, he could always drag himself back to Twilight Town and siphon love and pleasure from Hayner or Pence. However, he’d already caused them enough grief in this life… it wouldn’t be fair to just fuck around with them only to leave again.
At this point, he wasn’t sure if Cupid hated him, or he created his own misery… but it was probably both.
So, he poured his efforts and focus into his work instead. Recently, there’d been reports of suspicious activity in the mountainside where creatures were causing some rural townsfolk serious problems. Though they’d chalked it up to some especially ravenous werewolves, the pattern seemed a little off from the typical werewolf attack. He decided to go on a full moon because it would be even easier to find the culprit if they were a werewolf and thinking less logically. Sitting on the train in plain view is also a power move meant to partly intimidate the culprit, should they be riding it. Everyone on this train is a possible suspect, and if they catch his scent now, they might be easier to oust later.
For all intents and purposes, this was a normal mercenary job. However, what was especially strange about it is how the call made it to them so fast, as if it flew completely under the Organization’s radar and straight into his lap.
Eventually they make it to the town, the lycanthropes pile off the train, and head toward the town’s storage centers to drop off some belongings. It was quite brilliant actually: many rural towns had little shops for werewolves to leave some things over the course of the full moon. It had become consistent flow of income for them.
Most of the wolf-people would go far enough into the mountains or forests that they wouldn’t come near the town again during the night. Plus, there were enough safety precautions that it was nearly impossible for werewolves to get in under a full moon anyway. There hadn’t been a lycanthrope-based tragedy in years, which is why the townsfolk were so startled to find several murders had occured. Based on the corpses’ conditions, the culprit was looking to be more and more like a werewolf.
Upon his arrival, Roxas explores the town and speaks to a few of the people there, including the man who made the call. When Roxas asks why he contacted Avalanche instead of the Organization, the man explains it was through a personal recommendation.
From there, Roxas decides to hang out at a local pub until they close at sunset. Then, he ventures out to visit the crime scene: a particular tree on a hiking path about 30 minutes away from the town. According to some very unfortunate coroner’s reports, the victims were dragged while unconscious to the spot where their bodies were brutalized. Most of them bled out just before daybreak, and some just barely had enough energy to drag themselves a little ways. If his timing was correct, he’d be able to catch the culprit just before they tore into the next victim.
The forest itself is gorgeous: fireflies flicker across the air, wildflowers sway with the summer breeze, and the lingering light of dusk slips between gaps in the foliage to illuminate the well-traveled path. Eventually, he comes across a clearing where the darkening sky is clearly visible between the treetops. As of now, he’s about 26 minutes out; this spot is pretty close to the crime scene.
Roxas decides to linger for a while, enjoying this peaceful moment while he has it. Although he loves being in the city, it was nice to have the kind of natural peace that comes with being in a forest.
A twig snaps. He whirls around, and lifts a hand; an orb of white light flickers to life against his palm, illuminating the clearing.
“Show yourself.” He demands, although it’s more of a courtesy. He can drag whoever it is out of hiding if he needs to.
A figure steps out from behind a tree, seafoam eyes peering down at as silver hair glimmers in the light.
“No way,” Roxas pulls back his hood, happy to see a friendly face. “Riku!”
The taller man responds nonchalantly. “Hey.”
“It’s been a long time. So much has happened… how are you?”
“I’m doing alright, I guess.”
“How has Sora been?”
Riku shrugs, “Just fine.”
“How are things at the Covenant?”
“They’re going great.” Roxas’ brows furrow. Last he checked, it was total chaos over there. Riku seems to notice the skeptical look on Roxas’ face as he quickly adds, “Well, you know, all things considered. It could be worse.”
Roxas blinks at him, “...right.” Something seems really off. The fingers on his opposite had twitch, ready for Riku to make a sudden move.
“Listen,” Riku says, very carefully approaching him, “There’s something important I need to tell you.”
Roxas remains still, unsure of what Riku’s intentions are. He can very easily get away and fight back if he needs to, but he remains vigilant. “What—”
Gently, Riku takes the wrist Roxas is holding the orb with. Roxas is caught by Riku’s eyes, which are staring down at him with a hunger that makes his heart jump. “Do you remember that time I licked your face? In the alley?”
Face flushing, Roxas finds his eyes are suddenly unable to meet the lycanthrope’s face. “Yeah… you never told me why you did that.”
Using his free hand, Riku lifts the blond’s chin. “I didn’t tell you why because I wanted to show you why.”
Before Roxas can say anything else, Riku leans down to kiss him. The blond practically melts into the contact, all reason drifting from his brain like a firefly into the night. Gently, Riku pushes him back into the closest tree, the hand holding his wrist now pinning it to the bark. The taller man takes Roxas’ other wrist and also pins it. Roxas can feel Riku’s lips parting, tongue flicking, and the blond opens his mouth welcomingly.
The silver-haired man breaks away to kiss lightly down his chin and neck, muttering sweet little things between breaths: I’ve always wanted you, I need you, I must have you. The words leave Roxas dizzy and hungry as his tilts his head to allow for more access. Riku’s breath leaves his skin tingling, as his eyes flutter in the moonlight—
Moonlight.
His eyes snap open to see the satellite hanging bright and heavy in the sky, filling up the clearing with ghostly light. The moon is out, but Riku hasn’t changed at all. His eyes dart to Riku’s wrists, finding the X-shaped scar is completely missing.
He rips his hands away, using his kinesis to throw the imposter off of him.
“Who are you?!” He snarls.
The person resembling Riku grins wickedly, a low cackle trickling from his lips. “What’s wrong? Didn’t you enjoy my little treat? Well, now that I have your DNA...” He watches the imposter’s skin ripple, shifting in a sickly way as their features contort and rearrange themselves. Seafoam becomes sapphire, silver becomes blond, tall becomes short. His own voice drifts from the shapeshifter’s mouth. “...I guess playtime is over.”
Roxas growls at him, lifting a threatening hand, “What exactly is your plan, asshole? It’s a full moon, I can send you to space if I need to.”
The doppelganger smiles wryly, mirroring the action. “It’s a full moon for me too, cutie.”
A blast of force knocks Roxas back into the tree, pinning his body there.
Idiot! He thinks, Never ask the bad guy what his plan is!
“I’ve been meaning to jack your powers for a long time now, blondie. Since I can only steal one set of DNA at a time, I’ve been sitting with that werewolf’s in my body for years. I was tailing you for quite some time when I finally figured out the plan I needed to draw you out and expose you. Now that I have your body and your powers, I’m gonna make my way into the Organization and destroy them from the inside.”
Although Roxas’ first thought is Be my guest, dick. he realizes there are a lot of people still in the Organization he cares for and doesn’t want to get hurt. So instead, he hisses, “Tough luck, dick. You know I’ve obviously defected from them. What makes you think they’ll let me back in?”
The other Roxas blinks in confusion, “Wait, you defected? As in completely left?”
The real Roxas scoffs, “Yeah, smartass, what did you think I did? Got sick of wearing black every day so I got a new uniform? I’m guessing you’re the one who put in a word for Avalanche?”
“Yeah, but…” He sighs in exasperation, “It doesn’t matter! I’ll sweet-talk my way back in, maybe even shake my ass a bit if I need to. If you’re still alive, then you’re still a valuable—”
Roxas blinks, and suddenly he’s landing back down onto the grass. There’s the rustling of foliage, and a fragmented-sounding voice gargling a strangled scream into the night. Roxas’ eyes scan intently for the beast that took his captor, but all he can see between beams of moonlight is darkness.
Holding a new orb of light aloft, he travels in the approximate direction of the struggle; using a trail of blood, destroyed flora, and the sound of galloping feet to guide him. In the distance, he can hear the babbling of a brook. He searches for a long while, but the trail quickly runs cold and there’s no body—man or beast, living or dead—to be found. Eventually, he ends up standing near the brook, looking around for signs of life.
He freezes. Laying in the running water is a silver-haired werewolf. Riku’s body lifts up from the water as he turns to acknowledge Roxas’ presence, and the blond can barely see the brook running pink in the moonlight. Roxas watches in stunned silence as the werewolf slips out of the water and towards him. Were-Riku’s demeanor is friendly, ears perked up and tail wagging slightly. Then, standing in front of the blond, he shakes the water off.
Roxas squeals, “Riku, stop! You’re gonna get me soaked!” Riku halts, and his tongue comes lolling out of his mouth. Roxas groans, “Riku, you can’t do this to me. You’re supposed to be a terrifying werewolf, you are being entirely too adorable.”
Riku responds by howling spiritedly. In the distance, he can just barely hear other werewolves echoing him. Despite the night’s stress, Roxas laughs. It seems that, although the moon-rise intensifies everyone’s supernatural abilities and makes some nightwalkers lose control, Riku actually gains more control over his wolf-self than most.
“Well, if you’ve gone off and devoured my culprit-slash-doppelganger, I’ll just head back now. Okay?” He turns to leave, but hears Riku growl at him. He looks over his shoulder. “What? I can find my way back.”
But that’s about when he realizes he has no idea where he is. He’d been so focused on tracking down his targets that he doesn’t know which way the trail was. He could follow the brook all the way down, but who knew if it was straight or winding? It definitely doesn’t pass through the town, or he would have seen it. Plus, there are other werewolves out tonight, and even though he could easily use an aura-detection spell to avoid them it could take all night to find his way back.
He sighs at himself, “You weren’t planning on this, were you? Because you probably knew I was going to try and follow you.”
Riku stays silent, moving stoically over to a nearby tree to sit down. Deciding Riku is truly no threat to him, Roxas goes to sit down in front of him.
“Well, you win. I guess we’re camping out for the night.”
He makes a compressed ball of white light that starts dumping out heat between them like a supernatural campfire. They sit for a long while, watching as the brook trembles under the moon and fireflies flit lazily through the air. Roxas yawns despite himself, wondering where the best place to sleep would be. Seeing this, Riku curls up in the grass. He stares at the blond, glance occasionally flicking to his stomach area.
Roxas cocks an eyebrow at him, “...are you… saying you want me to sleep there?”
Riku’s tail begins wagging, and Roxas’ face flushes again.
“Are you serious?” Riku’s tail wags even harder, and Roxas groans. “F-fine, I guess… as long as your fur is dry. I don’t want to wake up smelling like wet dog.”
He crawls over, situating himself to prop his back and neck against the werewolf’s midsection. Pleased with himself, Riku lays his head down on his front paws. Roxas doesn’t think he’ll be able to drift off like this, but the sound of the brook and Riku’s breathing is actually decently soothing. Before he knows it, everything is dark.
When he first wakes, he can feel the sun on his face. He refuses to open his eyes, trying in a small way to get a couple more winks of sleep. He feels a hand, gentle and soothing, combing through locks of his hair. He sighs.
Then, his eyes pop open as the events of the previous night come rushing back to him. Riku must have noticed this, because he places a reassuring, but firm, hand upon the blond.
“Don’t get up just yet,” He pleads, “I’m really comfortable.”
Roxas cranes his neck just enough to look up at the silver-haired man. He’s shirtless, laying on his back in the grass, and Roxas’ head is laying on his stomach. The blond’s face feels hot, and his body is tense, and his heart feels like it’s going to explode in his chest... but he remains still. Riku continues to run his fingers though Roxas’ hair.
“How did you find me last night?” Roxas asks, rubbing the sleep from his eyes.
“I took an earlier train up here for the full moon. I caught your scent once you left town, and kept following it. Then, as a werewolf, I caught a whiff of the shapeshifter and tracked it until I found you both on the trail. I was hoping you wouldn’t have to see me basically mauling you, so I tried to be quick.”
Roxas chuckles, “Well, fortunately for you, I blinked just in time.”
“‘Fortunate’ sounds about right.”
“Where did you take their body?”
“I handed it off to a hungrier werewolf. Then I got in the water so I could wash the blood off and make sure you knew I was friendly.”
Nodding a little, Roxas asks, “How much did you hear?”
“Honestly? Not a whole lot.”
The blond releases a pent-up breath. Then, he realizes, if Riku went through all the trouble and is now stroking Roxas’ hair as they lay in the grass… maybe a little honesty is in order. Much to the lycanthrope’s dismay, the blond sits up and turns toward him. Riku follows suit. They lock eyes, and Roxas can feel that strange electric current he feels anytime Riku is near. It was prevalent since that time at the Covenant, when Riku first pulled him into a hug and he could feel their bodies pressed together. It was apparent on every mission, the way Riku went out of his way to protect Roxas and had trouble looking him in the eye afterwards. Every strange gesture, every non-answer, every touch, every glance… it all hangs in the air between them the way static does just before lightning hits.
“Riku, there’s been something I’ve been meaning to ask you. Well, maybe not ask you. Maybe not even say to you. Maybe just… do to you.”
Riku is about to question him when Roxas leans forward and lays a kiss on the other man’s lips, and they can both feel the sparks igniting. Suddenly, everything feels still: the brook, the clouds, the birds, even the wind rustling the trees. They are fully there, and yet fully gone, as their lips move against one another.
Roxas reaches up to run his fingers through silver tresses, pulling the taller man in closer by leveraging the nape of his neck. The lycanthrope responds by nipping at the blond’s lips, their tongues meeting halfway when their mouths open.
Without thinking about it, Riku is unzipping the fiery red cloak to expose Roxas’ chest. Carefully, the blonde pulls away for just a moment to remove the X necklace and let the cloak crumple to the ground. After pulling his gloves off, Roxas slides his hands across Riku’s already-exposed torso; delighting in the feeling of the smooth, muscular frame. Suddenly, Riku is kissing his harder, faster, as if desperate for a deeper taste. He’s pulling the blond tight into him, biting fervently at Roxas’ lips and emitting a low growl from his throat. Riku’s hands slide down to Roxas’ pants impatiently, fingers trailing over the apparent bulge behind the zipper.
Riku doesn’t want to wait. Neither does Roxas. They’ve been patient long enough.
They struggle out of their pants, pull themselves back into each other, and fall on top of Roxas’ cloak. Riku lays a string of wet kisses across Roxas’ throat and collarbone, sucking lightly as his hands drift all across Roxas’ naked form.
After some time, Riku leans back to spit on his fingers, “How fast?” He asks.
Trembling slightly, Roxas replies. “Fast.”
Wasting no time, Riku presses two digits against Roxas’ entrance, then slides them fully inside in one fluid motion. He hooking his fingers and rhythmically slips them in and out of Roxas’ tight hole. His head dips down to take one of the blond’s nipples between his lips, gently trailing around the nub as his fingers work their magic. He keeps going until Roxas is a writhing, moaning mess beneath him, then he removes his fingers. Slicking up his cock with spit, he prods it gently against Roxas’s entrance.
“W-wait, wait,” Roxas breathes, “Let me get on top.”
The silver-haired man obeys, flipping them around so Roxas is sitting atop him. Carefully guiding Riku’s member, the blonde slowly lowers himself down onto it. He sucks in a breath when he fully sheathes Riku inside of him; after a little adjusting, he finds a comfortable angle to ride from. The lycanthrope takes hold of Roxas’ outer thighs and helps the blond lift himself up and down Riku’s length.
“Fuck, I’ve wanted this for so long,” The lycanthrope admits, “I dreamed of the day I could finally pin you down and make you mine… but this is acceptable, too.”
Roxas can’t help but laugh, “Just ‘acceptable?’ Well then…”
The silver-haired man watches in awe as Roxas begins to take his cock at a feverish pace, grunting in pleasure. Each time they make eye contact, the electric tension runs its course. A bead of precum becomes apparent on the tip of Roxas’ dick, so Riku spares a hand to gently stroke it; not wanting to bring Roxas too close to the edge just yet.
Wrapped up in pleasure, they can’t tell if minutes or hours pass. When Roxas finally reaches his peak, he grips around Riku so tightly that it brings the lycanthrope to his own rolling orgasm. Roxas ejaculates onto both his and Riku’s stomach, and the taller man fills him up so much that he can feel the cum dripping out of him despite Riku still being fully sheathed inside. The lewd sensation gives him chills.
Spent, he lets himself collapse on top of Riku, uncaring of the cum slicked between them. He pants, knees sore, and head buzzing with post-orgasmic bliss. Riku goes back to stroking the blond’s hair, their lust and release mingling with the summer breeze.
After a while, Riku says, “Okay. Hear me out.” He gestures a finger in the air to no-one in particular, “Little Red Riding Hood.”
Roxas isn’t sure what Riku means at first, but as soon as the joke dawns on him, he buries his reddening face into Riku’s chest.
“Just for that, you’re officially the Big Bad Wolf!”

"Welcome home, Roxas!" Olette's words played through the blonde's mind like a broken record.
"Home… More like Hell…" Roxas hissed as he entered the huge gap in the Twilight square's wall—his red trench coat flickering in the wind behind him like a fire. Upon entering, he was greeted by a beautiful sight: a forest illuminated with fireflies hovering slowly in certain areas. The full moon could be seen through a gap in the trees; making rays of light shine through certain spots in the branches.
The blonde sighed as he casually approached the opening. Upon reaching it, he sat down in the grass before averting his gaze up at the moon.
Roxas sighed and let himself fall backwards onto the soft grass. He smiled to himself. 'I guess Sora was right—it feels so much better to have this weight lifted off my shoulders.' Roxas closed his eyes.
A year ago, when Roxas left Twilight Town, he was in a state of depression caused by his parents who never cared for him and a guy names Seifer. Eventually, Roxas ran away from home into the next district: Dusk City. There, he met three generous people. Their names were Axel, Demyx and Namine. Eventually, they agreed to let him stay with them.
About four months after that, he ran an errand for them—he was to simply go to a shop and buy a gun and a few rounds of bullets. But as he came back, he lived the city's worst nightmare. He was chased by a vampire. In time, he and the vampire actually became close. The vampire's name was Sora; he loved to tease Roxas all the time. He also met Sora's friends: Kairi the spell-caster (or a 'witch' to be specific. She prefers spell-caster though) And Riku the Lycan (werewolf).
Roxas sighed again. "Riku…"
Roxas had to admit; he had a bit of a crush on the silver-haired boy. The first time they met was when Riku was a Lycan and was greedily feasting upon a unsuspecting drunk man in his late 40's. Not the best way to start a relationship—the very image of the scene still makes Roxas' stomach do belly-flops.
Returning to the story… After Roxas had met them, he was asked to join a cult called "the Organization". Axel, Demyx and Namine were in it and they explained it was a group that kept order around the city. They needed another member because all Hell was starting to break loose. So Roxas joined and they bestowed upon him the number XIII. He would take down any one or thing that would kill innocent people (like a mercenary or an executioner).
Earlier on this current day, they asked him to run an errand; they wanted him to take a letter to the mansion of Twilight Town. At first, Roxas was unsure, but Sora managed to talk him into it. So far, it was great: he saw his friends, he beat up Seifer and he even got the chance to reminisce about old times.
"Welcome home, Roxas…" Olette's voice was heard again, "Welcome home…"
Roxas reached into his coat-pocket and pulled out a letter with an insignia in wax on it. 'Now I just need to take this to the mansion…' He stuffed the letter back into his pocket and got up. The blonde stretched him arms into the sky and yawned before brushing off his coat for any fly-away grass. He was about to continue on when a crack of a twig rang through his ears.
"Who's…" He started, before turning around, "…there?" There was silence when a tall figure stepped out from behind a tree—clear blue eyes glinted in the moonlight as silver hair shimmered. "…Riku?" Roxas asked, and the figure nodded. "What are you doing here? …Sora did this right?! I KNEW he could trust me!"
Roxas fumed, but Riku shook his head. "No… it was all me. I asked if you'd be all right… coming her by yourself… but he said you'd be fine. But I didn't think the same—I knew I had to follow you. If any thing had happened to you, I'd…" Riku trailed off. Roxas blushed and averted his gaze.
"Well, I can handle myself you know." There was no response. "Riku?" Roxas looked back to the tree, but Riku was gone. 'Were did he—?' Roxas was cut off.
"You can handle yourself huh?" Riku whispered into Roxas' ear—his voice dripping with lust and sadism. Roxas gulped, he knew something bad was about to happen. Not only was the moon full, but when Riku was in his Lycan state-of-mind… the image of Riku devouring the drunken man flashed in the blonde's mind and his stomach turned.
"But we both know you're lying…" Riku whispered; putting his hands or Roxas' waist. Roxas froze, he didn't know what else to do—he didn't have any weapons on him at the moment and the mansion was still a few kilometers away.
'Guess, I'm gonna have to run…'
The blonde rested his hands on Riku's, and the Lycan flinched. "I'm not lying." Roxas spoke quietly. "But you sure did call my bluff!" With that, Roxas tore out of Riku's grasp and ran in the direction of the mansion.
Riku chuckled almost insanely, "You're gonna have to try harder than that, babe!"
Roxas totally ignored Riku's comment and picked up his pace. He reached the clearing in the trees that led up to the dirt path into the mansions courtyard. He stopped to catch his breath and supported himself on a nearby tree. 'Gotta keep moving, before he…!' There was an updraft in air.
Come hither little red riding hood…
"Hello." Roxas looked up and saw Riku, smirking at him. His eyes were turning an amber and that means he was close to turning into a Lycan. "Did you actually think you could outrun me? What a joke." Roxas backed up, and Riku continued to approach him.
After a few steps, Roxas backed up against a tree and stopped. "Riku, please… don't do this…" Roxas begged, but Riku continued to approach him. "You're stronger than this! Fight it! Please…" Roxas pleaded, his eyes were starting to water and he felt tears stream down his cheeks. "God dammit!" Roxas dashed out from his vulnerable position, but didn't make it far because Riku had grabbed him and slammed his back up against at tree. "No!" Roxas struggled, but Riku held a firm grip and wouldn't let go. "Dammit, Riku! Why wont you just let me go?!"
"Because I love you."
Roxas' eyed widened. "What…?" Roxas whispered and Riku leaned closer.
"When I saw you for the first time, I knew I had to have you—you were so innocent, so angelic…" Riku loosened his grip, "…I loved you ever since."
Roxas blushed. "Riku, I…" He looked into Riku's eyes and saw that they were fully golden—he was close to turning now. 'Was all that the Lycan speaking?' "…let me go." Riku raised an eyebrow and the blonde narrowed his eyes. "If you truly love me, you'll let me go."
There was a long silence, and Riku's lips curled into a smile. "I'm afraid I can't do that."
Roxas growled, he was sure this would work. "Why not?!"
Riku let go of Roxas and settled his hand on either side of the blonde's head. "Because my Lycan side wants a piece of the action too…"
There was a loud smacking noise—Roxas had just slapped Riku. "You idiot! Don't succumb to your Lycan side so easily!" Riku's smile grew even wider. 'Uh-oh… maybe that wasn't the best idea…' Roxas gulped.
"My, you're feisty." Riku purred, and Roxas groaned. 'Why are all the perverts attracted to ME?'
Riku leaned forward and kissed the blonde's cheek before tracing a small heart on it with his tongue. The Lycan pulled back and looked straight into Roxas' eyes. "My little red riding hood…" He leaned in and kissed the blonde, making the younger boy shiver. Riku slid his tongue over Roxas' bottom lip, asking for entrance. The blonde opened his mouth and let Riku dominate him. The silver-haired boy pulled back and gasped.
"Riku?!"
"Roxas…" Riku rasped. "I want you to run, as fast as you can…"
Roxas' eyes widened. 'He's turning into a Lycan…!' Riku panted and gripped his chest.
The blonde ran a few feet away and Riku growled. "Go!" Roxas nodded and sprinted down the path, his red trench-coat swaying behind him.
After a little while of running the blonde managed to reach the gates of the mansion. He gave the giant steel-barred doors a push and they opened with a loud creak. Roxas stepped into the front-yard were all the disfigured bushes and large mounds of rubble were. Suddenly, there was a loud howl and Roxas gasped. He quickly ran toward the giant oak double-doors were and fumbled with the doorknob.
"C'mon, c'mon… OPEN!" Just then, there was a click and the doors opened slowly. 'Creepy… Roxas thought to himself and another loud howl was heard. "Crap!" He ran in and shut the doors behind him.
Glancing around quickly, he saw a thick iron pipe and grabbed it—placing in the crescent door handles. Without another though, he dashed to the staircase on the right and attempted to open the door.
"It's locked!" He cursed and a loud slam and a growl erupted from the entrance. Roxas ran toward the hallway to the other door and proceeded in attempting to open it. 'Yes! It's unlocked!' He quickly ran in and closed the door behind himself. Turning around, he realized the room was pure white. Since he was wearing red, he would stick out like a sore thumb. There was no use hiding there. "Oh no…" Roxas turned around and opened the door; he ran outside and dashed down the stairs.
There was another slam and the blonde looked up to see the pipe was denting and would eventually give out. "Dammit…" Roxas ran toward the door on his left, but growled to see it, too, was locked. He glanced around to check for anymore doors, but unfourtunalty, the last one was blocked by debris.
Roxas was screwed. But then, something caught his eye…
The doors of the mansion flew open with a loud clang of the pipe giving out and in stalked a silver-haired Lycan. The Lycan turned around and slammed the doors before grabbing the dented metal pipe and sliding it through the crescent door handles; bending it to were leaving was hard.
'Wow, Lycan Riku is pretty smart… now its gonna be difficult to get out…' Roxas had hidden under one of the staircases behind a few boxes and was peeking out through a singed hole in the wood and carpeting. Riku was sniffing around, but smelling out the blonde would be difficult because of all the dust and things left behind from the debris.
Riku sniffed the air and then stopped. His eyes darted over to the staircase where Roxas was hiding.
'Uh-oh…'
Riku stepped over and growled at it Roxas backed up and pushed himself against the wall facing the boxes. He tightly closed his eyes and awaited his demise. He could hear Riku's raspy breathing but suddenly… it stopped.
Roxas peeked through an eye. 'What the hell?'
Just then, the boxes in front of him were torn out of their place—packing popcorn and bubble wrap scattered every were and there Lycan Riku stood; looking very hungry. Roxas whimpered and slid down the wall until he was sitting on the floor and attempted to back up even farther into the wall.
Riku leaned forward and stared at Roxas. The blonde could feel the Lycans hot breath on his face as he felt tears running down his cheeks.
Who's afraid of the big bad wolf…?
Riku reached forward and grabbed Roxas by the neck before lifting him up and slamming him back against the wall. Roxas gagged and gasped for air. "Riku… s-stop…" He begged, but Riku only snarled at him. "R-remember… what you s-said… Riku?" The blonde said through gasps. "Ever s-since I've…m-met you… I could n-never t-tell you but…" Roxas gagged, "I love you too… Riku…"
Riku growled, and Roxas shut his eyes tightly. But nothing happened. He heard a few popping noises and then silence. Roxas opened his eyes to see human Riku standing in front of him; his eyes were back the blue and he was only in his tattered pants. The sight made Roxas blush a little. Riku slowly let Roxas down and they stood in silence.
"…I'm sorry…" Riku whispered, and then Roxas wrapped his arms around the silver-haired boy's neck. Riku was startled at first, but eventually wrapped his arms around the blonde's waist. Roxas pulled back and Riku leaned in for a kiss. "Thank you Roxas… Now I know how to control my Lycan half. If you hadn't said what you did, I could've…"
Roxas smiled "No problem."
"Hey, don't you have a letter to deliver?" Roxas flinched and reached into his pocket before pulling out the letter. "That's right!" He walked over the door and slipped it into the mail slot. "There we go! Now we can leave." Roxas turned around but Riku was gone. "Riku?"
"Y'know… there's another reason why I tied this pole around the doors besides just to keep you in." Roxas looked at the double-doors and there Riku was, fingering at the metal pipe wrapped around the crescent handles.
"What was it?"
He smirked. "So if anyone heard you screaming, they would come to your rescue." Riku looked at him and Roxas gasped.
His eyes were golden again.
And they lived happily ever after. The end…
A/N: *cringes so hard I vomit*
HAHAHAHAHA I LIED THIS WAS THE REASON IT TOOK ME SO LONG TO POST THE FINAL CHAPTER OF THE NIGHT. I wanted to give you all an extra-special treat.
So as you may have noticed I actually spoil the conclusion of The Night in Little Red Classique. The story has been up on my profiles since—I think—the last chapter I wrote of of Things That Kill in the Night. It was kind of a dumb move on my part... but I was pretty impatient as a Fairy Tale contest had come up and I thought I had a million-dollar idea for it.
Joke's on me, I think it's one of the worst Fanfictions I've ever written! Aside from a few decent lines here and there, it’s awful… but despite that, you all enjoyed it! So I took it down from where it was posted, mainly because it has massive spoilers, but also because I wanted to write a new version that I could include along with the final chapter of The Night.
Fun fact, I wasn’t planning on including a sex scene… BUT THE PUN COMPELLED ME TO DO SO. You’re welcome.
I love you. Thanks for reading, you goddamn precious creatures.
