Part 3 - "Heading For New Pastures"

Kid, Dawn, Dominique, and Hiro all walked along, heading for the distant New Reno. Dawn and Kid walked close by one another, Dominique walked a little off to the side by Kid, and Hiro walked by Dominique's side. Kid wasn't doing much aside from walking and simply thinking about how much longer it would take to reach New Reno. It would be another five to six days, depending on how fast everyone moved. The sun beating down on them, heating them all up a little uncomfortably, Dawn refused to wear her helmet, gripping it and carrying it in her right hand. A few minutes passed where they all stepped through the dusty wasteland, a cool breeze beginning to pick up, blowing along them all and beginning to cool their bodies down. Dawn suddenly narrowed her eyes as she began to pick up a sound. It was like something rather large was racing towards them. She looked to the side, her eyes widening. "Deathclaw!!" She said loudly.
Kid looked over, Dawn pulling on her helmet, Dominique and Hiro both pulling out their guns. It looked like something out of a nightmare. It had dark tanned skin, taking on a brown tint. It stood on two legs, but it's two front arms were quite long, the creature looking like it could walk on all fours if it wanted to. It was much taller than Dawn or Hiro, the two tallest people in the group. It was deeply muscular and looked extremely strong, the fear of it's power only growing stronger within Kid as he noticed each of it's fingers were ended in a long talon. It's feet only had three toes, each ending in a long talon as well, but the claws on it's hands looked like the truly dangerous ones, being longer and a little more curved. It had large horns on it's head, pointing forwards past it's face, the horns being darker than it's skin, being nearly black.
It had a long, thick tail, extending out quite a length behind it, the tail looking as long as Kid himself. It's eyes were milky and pale. It's mouth was open slightly, Kid seeing it had multiple large, sharp teeth. Dawn raised up her Gauss Rifle, immediately firing a shot at it. The bullet hit it in the chest, opening a small wound in it's chest, slowing the beast down for hardly a moment before it continued to sprint at them. Hiro gritted his teeth and fired his pistols rapidly, his bullets not seeming to do anything to the creature. As it neared close, Dominique fired her Pulse Pistol, hitting the creature in it's left arm, the electricity running along it and scorching it's skin a bit, but not stopping it at all. Kid dropped the bag of supplies, reaching in and pulling out a combat shotgun. The beast was upon Dawn in another moment, slashing across her chest, Dawn twisting to the side as she crashed to the ground. Four long cuts had been torn open across the chest of her armour, but no blood was visible.
She pointed her rifle at it's chest, firing a shot and hitting it, pointing her rifle up at it's head a moment later, firing another shot at it's chin but missing it's skin, chipping off the tip of it's left horn, instead. The beast hardly seemed fazed by her bullets, although it did seem to be in a bit of pain now. Dominique fired another shot at it, hitting it in the chest, the beast letting out a loud growl as the electricity ripped along it's tough skin. Hiro's guns were drained of bullets, looking to Kid. Kid saw him looking at him, tossing his combat shotgun to him, reaching in and pulling another one for himself. The two of them approached the beast, holding the triggers to their guns, blowing storms of pellets at the it. The deathclaw launched a hand down at Dawn, Dawn rolling to the side, it's claws stabbing into the dirt for a moment before it pulled it's arm up. Dawn stood back up, the creature turning it's attention to the nearby Hiro, swinging an arm at him, smashing him hard enough to cause him to backflip onto his chest.
It raised up a hand to stab down into him, Dominique firing another charge into the creature, firing the last shot it's small energy cells could muster up. It's claw stabbed completely through the stomach of his metal armour, impaling all the way through him, Hiro shouting out in pain, shutting his eyes tight. Kid ran up to it and began to blast his combat shotgun into the deathclaw's arm, the one it had stabbed Hiro with. From such a close range his attacks simply couldn't not be effective, Kid seeing blood begin to blow out of the creature as it's thick skin was pulled apart by the pellets of his shells. It picked Hiro up on it's claw, spinning it's body around and knocking into Kid's legs with it's tail, causing him to plummet to the ground on his side. Dominique ran up to the creature and fearlessly jumped up on it's back, ramming against it on her chest and grabbing a hold of it's shoulder with one hand, stabbing her claws down into it repeatedly with her other hand, it's dark blood running down it's back.
It let out a strange animalistic shout, twisting it's body left and right, trying to shake her off of it's backside. Hiro began to push himself off of it's claw, shouting out in agony, blood running out along it's hand from his body. Dawn ran up to it and pointed her Gauss Rifle right under it's chin, forcing the barrel against it's skin. She pulled the trigger. The cap of it's skull blew open, one of it's horns flying off and hitting the ground, blood and brains bursting out, as well. It's body immediately collapsed in a heap on the ground. Dominique landed with a grunt as she hit her side, the beast falling over on it's left arm. Hiro pulled himself from the deathclaw's hand as he lay on the ground, gritting his teeth as his precious blood continued to pour out of him. Kid looked at him in a bit of a panic, not knowing what to do. Dominique got up as Dawn raced back over to the supply bag, throwing her Gauss Rifle to the ground as she reached it, pulling it open and reaching into it.
She pulled out the Trauma Pack. It looked like a small bag of assorted medical supplies, a small canister of red fluid attached to it's side with several tubes and needles attached to it. She ran back over to Hiro, dropping to her knees by him. He was starting to quiet down, his movements were calming down. His life was slipping away. Dawn pulled one of the tubes from the canister attached to the Pack, attaching a needle to it and pushing it into a vein in Hiro's left arm. She did the same thing for three more needles and tubes, pushing them into his arm at different spots along him. She reached into the bag and pulled out a can of spray, holding it over the larger wound in his stomach, spraying a white mist along it for a few moments before throwing the can away into the dust around them. She reached into the bag again and pulled out what looked like a stimpack of sorts, only it didn't look quite like any stimpack he had seen before.
There were two stimpack attached together, one having a brown brace connected to it by several yellow tubes, the other having an intravenous bag attached to it by more yellow tubes. Dawn attached the brace to his other arm, the first stimpack immediately shooting it's fluid into the brace, the brace firing a needle down to his skin and injecting him with it's medicine. The other stimpack fired it's fluid into the intravenous bag, filling it with it's crimson healing agent. Hiro gritted his teeth for a few moments. Kid held his breath as he watched Hiro's wound slowly begin to close for a few moments before it suddenly sped up, shutting in nearly a single second. He sighed softly, staring up to the sky. Dawn watched as the red canister of the Trauma Pack slowly flowed it's fluids into him. Hiro took in a deep breath, blinking a few times as he groaned "Argh..." He sat up slightly, Dawn laying a hand on his chest, pushing him back down. "Not yet. Rest a bit, let all of the medicine get into you before you move."
Hiro chuckled softly. "Fuckin' deathclaw..." He muttered before seemingly falling asleep. Kid blinked, stepping forward slightly as he was about to ask if Hiro was okay. Dawn raised a hand. "Sleeping." She said. "Trauma Packs tend to do that. I think it's part of the medicine, so the wounded can sleep and let their damaged parts heal a little better. The Ultrastim will really help, though." She said, pointing to the strange double stimpack attached to his arm. Dawn pulled off her helmet and dropped it to the ground, getting on Hiro's other side, grabbing the intravenous bag of the Ultra Stimpack and holding it up, the fluid in it slowly trickling down through the yellow tubes and into his arm. After another few minutes it was all inside him, Dawn undoing the brace from him and pulling the entire thing away, tossing it off to the side. Eventually the Trauma Pack had poured all of it's medicinal concoction into him, Dawn pulling out the multiple needles that were attached to him. The Pack totally used, she simply threw it off to the side, hitting the deathclaw's corpse.
Dominique asked "He will wake up soon, yes?" Dawn shrugged. "There's no way of telling. It could take a few seconds, a few minutes, a few hours sometimes. Never more than a day, though. He should wake up some time soon." Kid sat down with a thud, dropping his combat shotgun beside him. Dawn looked at him with a smile. "You did pretty good. Most people that see a deathclaw for the first time freeze up, usually ending up with them getting killed. Good job." Kid smiled at her. Dominique reloaded her Pulse Pistol, throwing the spent small energy cells off to the side. She pushed the claws of her glove back into it's inner sheath, shortening them. She walked over to the supply bag and grabbed Dawn's Gauss Rifle, bringing it back over to her. Dawn nodded at her and took it, resting it by herself, bringing her helmet over and resting it by her rifle, as well.
They all sat around for about twenty minutes before Hiro's eyes suddenly fluttered opened. Dawn looked over to him. "Welcome back." She said. He groaned softly as he sat up, looking to his stomach, to the large gash in his metal armour. "Aw, little fucker ruined my armour..." He muttered to himself. Dawn smiled, raising an eyebrow as she said "Better a ruined piece of armour than a dead body. Get up, we have to keep moving." He nodded, standing up, grabbing his pistols. Remembering that they were empty, he pushed them into his pockets, grabbing the combat shotgun that Kid had passed him earlier. Kid walked over and pushed his combat shotgun into the supply bag, Dawn walking over and saying "Hey Kid, hang on a second." Kid looked over to her. Dawn got down and reached into the stuffed bag, pulling out the chest of her old metallic combat armour. "Put this on." She said, handing it to Kid.
She pulled out the pants as well, handing them to him. Kid thought for a few moments as to how Dawn had worn the armour for a while with nothing underneath, her bare skin having been touching the inside of the armour for a bit. Even after they went to New Reno and she got a pair of underwear, it had still been tight-fitting on her. He slowly pulled it on over his shirt, it being a bit big for him but sitting solidly on his shoulders regardless. He pulled the pants on over his, the pants being rather loose without a belt. Dawn said "Hmm...Maybe the shirt will be enough for now...But seeing as how you can fight okay now, I want you to be wearing a suit of armour. Forget about the pants, but wear the chest armour." Kid nodded, pulling off the pants, handing them to Dawn. She threw them away carelessly, picking up the bag and handing it to him, Kid taking it in his arms. They all began to walk once more, heading into the distance.
"Another day passed. We haven't seen any creatures or people since the deathclaw yesterday. New Reno is about four or five days away now. We're all relaxing in a cave by this cliff with a small fire going. Hiro is already asleep, but Dawn and Dominique are still awake with me. Dominique stepped out of the cave to get some fresh air and to take a walk, and she invited me to join her. I think I might meet up with her in a minute or two. Dawn says to be careful if I go out and to take a gun. I'll grab one of the shotguns before I leave. Alright, nothing else really interesting to write about, so I'll just go see Dominique now."
Kid stood up from the fire's side and pushed his book and pencil into one of his back pockets, grabbing a combat shotgun as Dawn said "Remember to be careful." Kid nodded, getting down by her again, kissing her on the lips twice before getting back up and heading for the exit of the cave. He stood outside in the relative darkness for a few moments, letting his eyes adjust, looking left and right for a few seconds before calling out "Dom?" Footsteps came up to his left side, Kid looking in their direction, pointing his combat shotgun towards them, as well. Dominique raised her hands for a moment, looking at him as she said "Kid, it's me, Dominique." He lowered his gun and smiled as he looked along her face, Dominique having left her gasmask back in the cave. She waved him over, walking away a few steps and looking over her shoulder until he began to follow her. They walked in silence for a few minutes until they reached a broken tree, the tree having toppled over onto it's side by some strange occurrence, whether natural or not, it was unknown.
Dominique sat down on it, taking in a deep breath and looking up to the sky, to the full moon. Kid sat down beside her, looking to the moon and the stars around it for a few moments, as well. "It's a nice night..." She said softly. Kid nodded slightly. They were silent for a few more moments before Dominique slowly said "Kid, I...I want to ask you something. I know it's not really any of my business, but...I asked Dawn a few days ago and she avoided giving me an answer." Kid nodded, looking over to her curiously. She looked down to the ground in front of her feet, asking "You and Dawn...Are you in love?" Kid kept looking at her in curiosity for a few moments. "What is..."Love"?" He asked. She looked at him with slightly-wide eyes. "You know, love." She said. Kid only looked more puzzled. Dominique said "Don't you know what "love" is, Kid?"
Kid slowly shook his head. He had never heard the word before. "Can you describe it?" He asked. She slowly sighed. "No, it's...It's sort of hard to explain with words, it's just something you feel inside." Kid looked forwards and slowly said "Well...I care about Dawn a lot...I t-try to make her happy...I don't r-really know how she feels, but she's been looking after m-me for a while now...I think she cares about me, t-too..." Dominique nodded slowly. Another few moments of silence passed between them. "Kid, where are you from?" Dominique asked in a bit of a cheerful tone, almost as if she were trying to change the subject suddenly. Kid looked over to her for a moment before looking off to the side. "I...I don't know. I woke up in the middle of th-the wasteland a while b-back. Dawn s-saved me from a slaver not l-long after. Th-That's all I can remember." Dominique said "Oh...I'm sorry, Kid...You don't remember anything before that?..."
Kid slowly shook his head. "But...I keep having these nightmares..." He said slowly. Dominique seemed a little interested by this news. "Really?" She asked. He nodded. "Want to talk about them?..." She asked a little gently and quietly. Kid didn't say anything after a moment, Dominique remaining silent. Kid slowly said "For a while, I k-kept seeing the same thing...I was b-being dragged through a wh-white hallway...People in yellow and blue jumpsuits keep w-watching me, but they d-don't do anything to help...Eventually, seeing that a few times, I started seeing a little m-more..." Dominique nodded gently. Kid said "I get thrown into a r-room where I'm forced onto a t-table...A man in a gasmask..." At this, Kid closed his eyes, taking in a breath, almost to calm himself down. "...A man in a gasmask...He holds up a needle of some kind with s-some glowing g-green stuff inside...He tries putting it into me, into m-my arm...Not too long ago, I s-saw a little bit more, after that..."
Dominique nodded again slightly, listening intently, Kid opening his eyes once more. "I was running d-down a hallway...There was a little cut in my arm, and the g-glowing green stuff was l-leaking out of it...I get tackled by the m-man in the gasmask, and he was about to stab me with the needle again, b-but then I woke up...I haven't had one since..." Dominique quietly asked "Did you see any big numbers on the suits of the people or any numbers on the walls, any big numbers in general?" Kid looked over to her curiously, thinking for a moment, shaking his head after. "No, why?" He asked. She said "Well, from the sounds of things, you might have come from a vault." Kid raised his eyebrows. "Vault?" He repeated. Dominique nodded. "I don't know much about them...I think they were built before the war to protect people from the bombs. Vault jumpsuits were yellow and blue, I know that for sure, though. I got to look inside Vault 15 when I was younger, a lot of the doors and walls had a big "fifteen" on them in numbers. If you saw some numbers, we might be able to figure out where you came from."
Kid nodded. "Well...Maybe I'll see some th-the next time I have a n-nightmare..." Dominique quieted down, looking up to the moon once more. "Kid, can I ask you something a little weird?..." Kid nodded. "Sure." He said, looking forwards into the darkness. "Are we...Friends?" Dominique asked a little quietly. Kid looked over to her with a bit of a smile. "I like to th-think we are." Dominique smiled a little and looked over to him, looking into his eyes for a moment before looking down to his legs slightly. "...I'm glad I met you...I'm glad the Holy One wants me to follow Dawn, it means I get to see you..." She said softly, almost in a whisper. Kid smiled more and said "I'm glad I met you too, Dom..." They both looked up to the moon slightly, smiling to themselves. Dominique suddenly yawned gently, stretching a little as she said "Well...We better get back...I'm feeling pretty tired..." Kid nodded, the two of them getting up, walking back in the direction of the cave, the soft glow of the fire within gently illuminating the entrance, the two of them spotting it easily.
Ace sat back inside her Highwayman, slamming the door shut in anger. Dawn had eluded her once more. She had spoken with several people around town, and after checking the hideout they had been using for a few days, she found out that they must have left town again. She found out from a few more people that they had left in the middle of the night, heading in the direction of New Reno. Ace was furious. She had just come from New Reno, after all. She turned the key in the ignition, her car jumping to life. A disco song immediately began to play on the radio. "Rollercoaster...Of love...Say what?...Rollercoaster...Ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh...Rollercoaster...Of love..." She raced off into the distance, heading back to New Reno, her face dark with annoyance.
Marv sat with Heather in another alleyway, having made it to New Reno. Heather was shaking slightly from the night's cold. Marv noticed her wrap her arms around her legs, hugging her knees to her chest beside him. He got up for a second, Heather looking up to him with her big, innocent eyes. He pulled off his dark suit jacket, saying "Heather...Get away from the wall for a second..." She scooched away from the wall slightly, Marv bringing his jacket down around her shoulders, Heather taking a gentle hold of the lapels of the jacket, drawing it a little closer around her body for warmth. He sat back down beside her on the ground, Heather leaning against him slightly, murmuring out "Thank you, Marv..." Marv reached an arm around her, keeping his hand over her right arm, on her shoulder. "Don't mention it. I don't want you freezing up."
Heather leaned against him a little more, smiling contently to herself now that she was starting to warm up. "You won't be cold, will you?..." She asked quietly. "I've been worse. It's not too cold out here. I sort of like the chill, actually. Better than the burning of the day." He said. Heather smiled a little more, gently. She reached her left hand up to the hand he kept on her shoulder, grabbing a hold of his index and middle fingers, pulling his hand from her shoulder until it was close to her face, closing her eyes and smiling still as she rubbed the side of her face along him. Marv didn't react, simply staying silent. Heather began to grow sleepy, yawning gently. She fell asleep in a few moments, stil keeping his hand near her face. Marv eventually fell asleep as well, staying close to her as he drifted off to a deep slumber.
"New Reno is on the horizon. It's only a day or two away now. I'm writing this as we walk, so I'll make sure to keep it brief. Dawn noticed just a few minutes ago that someone was following us. She's calling them a "mysterious stranger", and said that one of us must have gotten their attention. They're wearing some sort of robe with some armour, and because of a hood, Dawn can't tell if it's a guy or a girl. They have some sort of assault rifle with them, but they haven't taken a shot at us yet. They stop moving when we do, and they follow us when we move. Dawn says it's best not to confront the stranger. As long as they don't try anything funny, I don't care how far they follow us."
A day later, Kid and the rest of the group had finally reached the outskirts of New Reno. Dawn was holding onto her helmet with her right hand, her Gauss Rifle shouldered on her left side. Dawn glanced over her shoulder. The mysterious stranger was still following them from a distance. Dawn looked forwards. "They're starting to annoy me..." She muttered. Kid gave Dawn a light pat or two on the mid back, saying "They haven't tried shooting at us, Dawn...I suppose that's okay...And they're keeping their distance, so..." Dawn glanced at him before shrugging gently. "I suppose so..." She said quietly, almost sounding a little subdued. Kid reached over and held her hand, Dawn smiling a little to herself, holding his hand back, locking fingers with him. Hiro walked with them around the outskirts, heading back for the Wright manor. Within nearly an hour of silently walking, they finally reached the manor.
The children were all excited to see Dawn again, Dawn smiling as they all clamoured around her and her friends. One of the children was curious as to Dominique's gasmask, Dominique shyly saying nothing in explanation. "Get out of here kids, you bother me." Hiro said loudly in annoyance, the kids all looking a little dejected as they walked away. Hiro quickly walked over to the double doors of the large single-story building, stepping between the two armed guards at the front and pushing the doors open, waving Dawn and the rest over. They all walked inside, Hiro walking through the building, everyone following them. Several people were happy to see Dawn, saying "hello" to her. Hiro walked up to the door to Keith Wright's room, knocking on it. "Yes?" A voice called out from within. "Mister Wright, I have Dawn here."
Hasty footsteps approached the door from the other side. It opened, Keith standing in the doorway, smiling happily as he spotted Dawn. "Dawn!" He said. Dawn smiled. "I was taking a little vacation, Keith. Sorry about not having someone send you a message." Keith said "Oh, it's fine. I'm just glad to see you're okay. I guess Hiro told you exactly why it is that I wanted you back? Come inside, we need to talk...In private." Dawn nodded, stepping into the room alone, Keith closing the door behind her. Kid sighed softly, Hiro shrugging and saying "Well, that's that. It was nice knowing you guys, but I gotta see a girl about some whiskey an' sex. Peace."
He walked off, leaving the manor, heading out on his own. Kid watched him leave with a raised eyebrow for a few moments before Dominique tapped him on the shoulder. He looked over to her. She was smiling gently. "Any more Nuka-Colas in the bag?" She asked. Kid thought for a moment before nodding a little. "Like...Two." He said. She smiled more. "Wanna drink them together?" Kid smiled a little and nodded. The two of them walked outside, Kid laying down the bag of supplies, reaching in and gently pulling out the last two bottles amid the guns and ammo. The two of them drank the Dazzling Blue Nuka-Colas in silence, simply enjoying one another's company in silence.
Dawn sat in front of Keith's desk, in one of the many chairs that rested in front of it. Keith sat at his desk and poured himself a shot of whiskey, downing it a moment later, laying the shot glass down on the desk. "Dawn, we're hitting the Salvatores tomorrow. They don't know it's going to happen, so we'll be catching them relatively off-guard. To add on top of that, we've figured out that they barely have thirteen people in their group, that's not even including Mason, the boss. The trouble is, they're using energy pistols on top of some normal guns, and they're going to be using metal armour mark two for the most part. I'm asking you to help with the assault when it goes down. You're the best fighter I have, I can count on you to do anything from lockpicking to cracking skulls. Looks like you have some better equipment now too, so you should be alright. What do you say? Will you help us?"
Dawn smiled, saying "Relax, Keith. You're practically begging me, here. Of course I'll help. Why wouldn't I?" Keith grinned. "Thank you. Now, it's not going to happen until tomorrow around noon. At noon, meet up with some of our guys at the Desperado. There'll be more than a few people there, and I'll make sure your old team is there, too. Head over to Salvatore's Bar after and do your thing. If you pull this off, the Wrights will be in total control over all of New Reno." Keith leaned back in his chair and looked off to the side with an almost dreamy look on his face. "Ah...If only my dad were here to see this...I wonder what he'd think..." Dawn smiled gently and said "He'd be proud of you, Keith." Keith took in a deep breath. "I hope so." Was all that he said in reply.
A moment of silence occurred, after which Dawn asked "Was that all?" Keith blinked as if coming out of a spell, nodding gently as he said "Yeah. Just remember, head to the Desperado and meet up with the guys tomorrow." Dawn stood up and said "At noon, right. Even with lightbringers, the Salvatores won't stand a chance. See you later, Keith." She walked over to the doors of the office, pulling it open and stepping outside, closing it behind herself. She walked through the building until she approached the front double doors, seeing Kid and Dominique walk inside. The three of them approached one another, Dawn speaking once they got close enough. "Alright, I don't have to do anything until tomorrow, so the rest of the day is free. I'd like to spend it relaxing, so...Let's go to the Golden Globes studio, Kid."
Kid blushed faintly, smiling a little. Dawn turned her attention to Dominique. "Now, as for you...I know you think you're on some sort of holy mission to follow me around, but there's such a thing as privacy. I'd like some with Kid today, or, at least, what's left of today. As in, you won't be able to stay in my room with us when we get there. Only workers and performers of the studio can stay in the outer rooms as well, so...I don't know what you'll do for shelter." Dominique arched her eyebrows slightly for a moment in thought, looking off to the side. "I can take care of myself, Beautiful One." Dominique said quietly a moment later. "A rest in an alley won't kill me." Dawn nodded. "Glad to hear it. Come on then, we'll walk to the studio, you can pick out your little alleyway when we get there." Dawn smiled slightly and reached a hand out to Kid, Kid smiling and taking it in one of his, the two of them holding hands and walking off, Dominique following them.
Within twenty minutes, Dawn and Kid walked into the studio, the sun beginning to lower in the sky in evening. Dominique had walked into a nearby alley, disappearing. She made sure to keep her helmet off so nobody would stop her and bother her with identification. She held Kid's hand still, walking with him into the front room, walking into the next room, the room filled with beds and camera sets. The room was dark for a shoot, loud techno music playing from a radio as a couple "acted" on a bed nearby, a few cameras rolling on them and catching the act. Kid avoided looking at them but Dawn glanced over, smiling for a moment before looking away. The two of them walked into Dawn's room, Dawn flicking on the soft red light of the room, closing the door behind herself and locking it. Kid walked over to her bed, resting the bag of supplies by it before lying down on her bed with a sigh, closing his eyes as he stretched slightly on his back. He heard her place her helmet by the bed, on the floor.
Her trenchcoat hit the ground with a soft thud. She took her gloves off, laying them by her helmet. She slipped her boots off. "So...Wh-What do you want t-to do?..." Kid asked quietly, holding his hands behind his head as he lay on his back, keeping his eyes closed. Dawn chuckled softly but said nothing for a few seconds. He heard her take a few steps towards the door, the light dying as Dawn flicked the switch again. "Make looove..." She said seductively. Kid opened his eyes, blushing gently while hearing Dawn unzip her chest armour, dropping it by her trenchcoat. He heard her pull out the belt to her pants, dropping both the belt and the pants to the floor. He was about to look up when Dawn crawled over him, her knees on either side of his thighs, her elbows by his, her hands on his wrists. She was still in her underwear, the black silk material of her bra and panties looking beautiful on her pale, creamy skin. She was smiling gently, looking into his eyes, her face close to his.
She simply looked into his eyes for a few moments in silence. Kid thought he could notice a bit of blush entering her cheeks. She closed her eyes, bringing her face closer to him, pushing her lips to his. Kid closed his eyes, returning her kiss, the two of them kissing a few times in the darkness. Dawn pulled her face up a second later, sitting up quietly, reaching behind herself and undoing her bra, slipping it down her arms. Kid reached a hand up and gently felt along her lean stomach. He hadn't noticed it, but Dawn's stomach had completely healed by that point. She had several thin scars along her soft tummy flesh, but her actual wounds had closed days ago. Dawn smiled, dropping her bra by the bed, reaching down and placing a hand on his, holding it against her stomach. He smiled and looked up to her eyes. She stood up on the bed for a moment, slipping her dark silk panties down her legs, dropping them by the bed, by her matching bra. She got back down on him, reaching down and undoing his pants.
He blushed deeper as she slowly pulled down his pants and boxers, Kid slowly growing aroused. Dawn smiled a little as she saw him in the shadows, rubbing her hand along him gently as she slowly grew aroused, as well. She moved a little closer to him, kissing him again, slipping her tongue through their lips and into his mouth. That was the first time she had ever done something like that. Kid was a little surprised, his face slowly beginning to fill with red as he felt Dawn rub the tip of her tongue along his, her long tongue gently going back and forth. Kid slowly closed his eyes, reaching his tongue out a little closer to her's, rubbing back against her, rapidly growing fully aroused in reaction to the new sensation. Dawn smiled a little around her tongue, happy that her tongue kiss got a reaction out of him. She brought her hips closer to his, finding his rock-hard tool with her now-slick lower lips, rubbing back and forth and grinding against him slightly. She pulled her face up from him a few seconds later, opening her eyes and looking into his eyes without a smile. He opened his eyes.
The way she was looking into his eyes...There was something special about it. Her eyes only had that look when the two of them were actually making love. They weren't full of desire like when they fucked, it was more like care, only her eyes always had care in them. This type of care was deeper than what her eyes usually held in them. It was closer to the heart and soul. Her chest touching his shirt, still leaned down on him quietly, looking into his eyes with that caring emotion, she softly said "Kid...I don't think I've ever said this, but...I'm really happy I met you...You mean everything to me now..." Kid softly said "Dawn...You mean so much t-to me...I don't know what I'd do without you..." Dawn didn't do anything for a moment, but eventually she closed her eyes, giving him another soft kiss on the lips, Kid kissing her back.
After the kiss, she brought herself up, sitting up on his upper thighs slightly. She reached down and gently pointed him up towards her, his hard member having been lying back on him slightly. She brought herself up a little, bringing her moist lips down to him, sighing softly as he gently prodded her pussy a few times before Dawn fully began to lower herself, Kid slowly penetrating her, pushing between her moist lips and going deeper into her warm, tight orifice. She was starting to breathe a little quicker, Kid reacting in the same way. She laid her hands on his chest, raising her hips slowly, squeezing along him as he began to slip out of her until only the tip remained within her. She lowered her hips once more, feeling him push up into her, clenching around him as he felt all the way inside. Those movements led to a long night of passion, the both of them eventually drifting off to sleep in one another's arms lovingly, no dreams coming to Kid that night as he slept in the caring and protective arms of Dawn.
