Notes
– Welcome to the second chapter of Today was just a memory! I’m r3 and I’m going to be your author
today. I hope you have lots of fun
reading this and will review at the end.
Nice reviews make me feel happy and make me want to write more. Bad reviews make me want to cry and so I cry
and don’t do anything else.
WARNINGS! – This story contains spoilers! It also contains ooc-ness, shounen-ai, and
yaoi, mass references to pork related foods, self gratification and more! Read it at your own risk.
Disclaimer – I’m too poor to own Kingdom Hearts,
although I do own a Heartless action figure (the big shadow one the you have to
fight twice right at the start of the game.
I forgot what it’s called), a Sora mermaid and Ariel action figures and
I nearly owned an Irvine action figure, but by the time I did have money, the
shop had sold out. I also don’t own anything Tarzan related. I do own Lexu and this story however. And as for Cupid…he’s a lazy assed git…
Thank you for coming today, now read on -r3
Today was just a memory
- On with the mayhem -
With a dull thud and a poor landing, Riku found
himself face down in the dirt. The air
around him felt heavy and humid and it smelt of exotic flowers and unknown
plants. Pushing his self up, eyes
scanned the tropical area around him.
He didn’t remember coming to this place, but wherever it was, it had a
jungle theme to it. Pulling his body up
into a sitting position, he contemplated on where he’d seen an area like this,
and then it struck him. The Heartless
had been drawn to this world because of a man named Clayton. Sora had been here when he was searching for
him. He didn’t know much of what had
happened, but he knew the other had locked the heart of this world. Plus, there was currently no Heartless
around.
That was until a Shadow popped up right infront of
him, empty yellow eyes staring at him, it’s whole body shaking with the need
for a heart. Gasping and pulling back,
pushing himself away from it as far as possible, it suddenly bust into a ball
of light then disappeared. Standing
none to far behind where the Heartless had been was Lexu, bow and arrow poised
and ready to strike his next opponent.
Letting out the air he didn’t know he was holding in, Riku collapsed
onto the vine-covered ground, eyes staring up into the masses of trees
above. He was defiantly in the Deep
Jungle.
Lexu lowered his box and twirled the arrow into the
air before putting it back with the others.
Slinging the bow over his shoulder, he narrowed his eyes at the human,
and then sighed heavily, shaking his head.
“What, no thank you?”
“Thanks”
“Bacon to you too”
“Will you stop mentioning food!?” shouted Riku,
sitting bolt upright and glaring at the angel.
“I’ve had nothing to eat in I don’t know how long and all your
references to food is making me hungry!”
“Sausages?”
Riku growled, pushing himself upright then flung
his arms into the air before charging at the angel, only to end up hitting the
tree behind him as Lexu easily stepped out of his way, once again giggling like
a school girl. “You missed,” he
said. “You know, I’m kinda glad you
chose to take Darkness in a way. I
mean, having you as the Keyblade master would of meant the whole universe would
be doomed” This caused Riku to growl again, but Lexu merely ignored him. “Plus, you fled such a weak Heartless. Shadows are nothing; you can beat them away
with a stick. There are some pretty
stronger Heartless than that here, so you better get yourself something to use
as a weapon.”
“Only the Keyblade can truly defeat them,” Riku
stated, brushing himself off as he glared at the angel. “And Sora destroyed mine and he still has
the other”
“Pfft” came Lexu’s response and he pulled out one
of his arrow, twirling it like a baton in his hand. After a few moments, he stopped twirling at held it straight
upwards and the arrow glowed and began changing. Growing longer, the heart shaped arrowhead forming the top half
of the key, part of the lower half coming out and forming the handle, curling
around Lexu’s hand, forming some sort of protection. Within moments, the arrow had gone from a simple arrow to a long,
golden Keyblade. It resembled in a way
to his old Dark Keyblade, yet was longer and golden, with white wings growing
out near the handle. After a few
practice swipes, Lexu offered it over to Riku.
“For you”
“You can make Keyblades?”
“Only the Angel Heart” he said modestly. “It’s linked with the wielder’s heart. Depending on your mood is how the key
reacts. Try it”
Taking it from Lexu, the moment he had full hold of
it, the colour began changing from gold to reddish brown in a swirling
motion. Gasping, he held it out before
him, the colour once more changing, yet not completely, and green forming and
swirling inside it, almost like someone was swirling paint inside the
Keyblade. “Why is it doing that?”
“It’s linked to you. Because you’re feeling a mix of emotions, the Keyblade is a mix
of colours. When you’re fixed on one
emotion, it will change to a much pure colour.
Right now its says your angry, yet amazed” Lexu grinned at him. “It’ll let me know how you’re feeling, even
if you’re not saying anything to me”
“More ways of getting inside my head…hmmm?” Deep purple formed, replacing the green.
Lexu shrugged “Sort of”
“So how come it was just gold when you held it? Is
it because it wasn’t linked to your heart since you created it?”
“Oh no, it was linked” he said, still smiling. “Gold simply means pure. I’m not overly emotional like you
humans. I don’t need to be. All I really want to do is protect KH. It’s my mother and my father, it is my life,
and without it I cannot exist. From my
point of view, all your anger towards me and hatred of things is pointless”
“But don’t you hate the Heartless? I mean they’re trying to take Kingdom Hearts
away from you. They took everyone I
cared about away from my and it nearly consumed me. I hate it” Riku said, the Keyblade in his hands turning a soft
violet colour.
Lexu merely shrugged. “Like I explained before, the Heartless and I are from the same
thing. No, I don’t hate them, I pity
them. They do not know of the beauty of
Kingdom Hearts. If they could
experience just how wonderful KH is, then perhaps they wouldn’t seek out
substitutes such as the Hearts of others and the Hearts worlds.”
Listening to Lexu explain, Riku nodded softly, and
then turned his attention to the Keyblade he held in his hand. Practising a few times with it, it sliced
the air well, killing Riku’s imaginary enemies. Watching him for a few moments, Lexu soon tired and began walking
away, focused on finding the next way out of the Jungle and onto their next
destination. He didn’t want to be stuck
on a Heartless infested world that was too hot for even him to handle. His hat had been removed, tucked into his
arrow quiver. Blue hair was pulled back
into a tight ponytail, revealing long, pointed ears that grew from the sides of
his head. Previously, those ears had
been hidden beneath hair and hat, but were now on full show. They seemed to even twitch slightly when
there was just the slightest sound.
Giving up practising, the silver haired youth
turned his attention to the Angel, noticing his ears. Running up behind the taller male, Keyblade was sheathed and blue
eyes looked up at the strangely shaped lobes on Lexu’s head. “You’ve got funny ears” he stated, pointed
at them with a gloved hand.
“Hmmmm…?”
Hands were raised to brush fingers over the elongated lobes, and he
shrugged, dropping hands to his sides.
“They’ve always been shaped like that,” he said.
“I’ve never seen ears like that”
“Well, that makes you a poor gammon then doesn’t
it?” he replied with a smirk. A growl
was his only reply as Riku was once more angered by Lexu’s constant use of meat
related items in his sentences. Most of
the time there was no need for it.
“When can I eat?”
“Eat?”
“Yes, eat.
Nourishment. I can’t take on the
Heartless if I haven’t eaten anything.
I don’t know what Angels of Love do for food, but I’m getting
hungry, and you constantly talking about food is making me even more hungry”
said Riku sounding very agitated. Even
his stomach managed to rumble in protest at not having eaten in so long. Lexu could only giggle at the noise, wings
fluttering like some half-crazed faerie.
“Foodie-food-food.
Awww, diddums to you then, meh Rikoooooo?”
“Lexu!”
Growling once more, Keyblade was raised, swirling a deep, angry red as
he made to strike the angel. But, Lexu
easily dodged the swipe, prancing around through the jungle, before darting
away through a mass of trees and vines and vanishing from Riku’s view. His laughter could still be heard though,
and the silver haired youth chased after him.
Only to come face to face with a man hanging
upside-down from a vine, spear held in one hand, and a giggling Lexu behind
him.
“Oook?”
“Gyah!” scream Riku, Keyblade raised in
defence. The brown haired male merely
stared at the weapon, then reached out a hand to touch it.
“So-ra?” he asked, but seeing the one holding the
Keyblade, he shook his head, thick clumps of hair dangling side to side with
the motion. “Not Sora”
“You know Sora?” asked Riku, watching the man flip
from his vine to stand in a rather crouched position on the floor, now
inspecting Lexu, fascinated with his wings.
“Bird?”
Lexu let out a girlish squeal, spinning as a
feather was plucked from his white wings.
The feathered appendages were then held high, out of reach from the
native’s hands, and curled close to his body, fearing more attack. “I’m not a bird you oaf, I’m an Angel” Lexu
said proudly. “And don’t you forget it”
“You’ll have to forgive Tarzan. He’s still learning” came a young woman’s
voice as she walked into the clearing in which the three males inhabited. Spotting Lexu cradling his poor wings, she
walked calmly over to him, stroking the feathers softly. “I do apologise for what he’s done to you
sir, he, and myself even, have never met a young man with wings”
“Man?
Pah. You’ve got your burgers in
a bunch there miss. I’m Second
Lieutenant Lexu, at your service” and he bowed gracefully before her. Watching, Riku muttered ‘show-off’, but the
angel seemed to ignore him. “I’m simply
guiding my friend here so that he may join with his friends. I take it Tarzan has met Sora?”
“The young boy with the weird friends? Yes, he passed here some time ago, saved the
gorillas from the Heartless. However,
Clayton was not to be saved and was destroyed”
“Clayton?” Lexu nearly spat the man’s name. “He wasn’t worth the time or the effort KH
put into him”
“I beg your pardon?” asked Jane, seeming rather
confused at the way Lexu acted. Not to
mention she had no clue of what ‘KH’ was.
“Clayton was a fine man until that Heartless beast possessed him”
“That Stealth Sneak did no ‘possessing’. Clayton wanted it here. Kingdom Hearts put an awful lot of effort
reviving that worthless man from their clutches; all to have him talk of
gorillas again and once more get lost to the darkness. No, he was no fine man; he was forever
tainted b the darkness and will forever remain that way” he explained rather
angrily at Jane, especially since she didn’t know the truth behind what had
happened. As for keeping the secret and
the peace between the worlds, Lexu couldn’t care less. He was going to prove that Clayton was
better off left to the Heartless than bringing back to his home planet.
Riku had to interject, and walked up to the taller
male, placing his hand lightly on the Angel’s arm. “Drop it Lexu, she doesn’t understand. Let’s just keep going shall we?”
With a ‘hmph’ noise, Lexu stuck his nose into the
air and began walking away from Tarzan and Jane. Riku however, wanted to learn more of what Sora had done on this
world. “So you say you met Sora? Do you know where he went afterwards?”
“I’m afraid I don’t, sorry. Perhaps Tarzan can be of some assistance?”
At the mention of his name, the ape-man headed over
to Riku, reaching out his free hand to poke him. Nearby, Lexu was glaring daggers at him. The fact he’d pulled on his wings, and then
insulted him by calling him a bird was far beyond belief. Lexu was in the right mind to inform the
others working for Cupid not to come near this planet ever again, but thought
against it once he remembered his original mission. So, leaving Riku with the two natives of the Deep Jungle, Lexu
stalked off into the humid wilderness, taking his frustration out on any
Heartless that came his way.
Meanwhile,
in Hollow Bastion, Sora was now dressed and ready to go and help clear more of
the Heartless from the Waterway. It may
have been a never-ending battle, but it kept him in shape and kept up the
practice with his Keyblade skills.
Lurking at the entrance was the now fully dressed, spiky haired blond, a
huge grin upon his face as blue eyes watched the smaller male approach. Seeing the other there, Sora let out a long,
heavy sigh and shook his head. He was
hoping that Cloud would leave him alone just for a little while.
“Hello my pet” said Cloud, grin still in place.
Why oh, why did Sora agree to such a stupid thing?
“Hello…master…”
Pulling a hand out from within the depths of his
coat, a black spiked collar was held in his clawed hand, a dog leash hanging
from the link at the center. Moving
with ease, Cloud was quickly behind the smaller youth; fastening the collar
around his neck, fingers stroking the flesh gently once it was in place. Claws travelled along Sora’s body, tracing
the plain white tee, curled slightly around the dog leash, finally grasping it
at the end and giving it a gentle tug.
Sora’s body heaved as he let out a long, heavy
sigh. “It’s going to be difficult to
fight the Heartless with you holding onto the leash” he pointed out.
Cloud grinned.
“And? I’ll let you go if you get
desperate to fight those things, although, I was hoping you’d come and clean my
room instead my pet”
Sora’s eyes widened, staring at the taller
man. “Are you joking? That place is a biohazard zone! I’d put up hazard tape but Aerith won’t let
me”
Cloud wasn’t the greatest of housekeepers, and each
of the group knew it, possibly even Cloud himself, since he was still grinning,
and even chuckled at the mention of biohazard tape. But, Sora seemed intent on going and practicing his Keyblade skills,
since he was currently wandering into the Waterway as far as the leash would
let him. Watching him as he gave Cloud
a pleading look over his shoulder, the blond sighed and reluctantly followed,
still holding onto his ‘pet’. Today was
going to be a long day…
Currently,
deep within the bowels, another was also ‘practising’ against the Heartless,
his gunblade slicing through the air like a hot knife through butter, the
monster falling and vanishing into nothingness, hearts floating up and
away. Water dripped from the ceiling
and footsteps echoed through the long corridors, accompanied by voices, most of
which were Sora’s battle phrases as he struck down Heartless after Heartless. With a long sigh, the last Heartless in the
area was stopped in it’s tracks, and the gunblade was lowered, icy blue eyes
looking into the darkness to where the voices came from. He was seriously hoping that he could avoid
Sora today, especially since this mornings display was still firmly implanted
in his mind.
Waiting and watching, two shapes emerged from the
shadows, both connected by a length of rope or leash as Leon soon saw as Cloud
and Sora came ever closer. His
expression almost changed into that of shock, until he shook his head, hand
rising to rest against his forehead.
“Hey look, typical Leon brooding pose!” pointed out
Cloud, to which Sora gave a soft chuckle.
“What’s a guy like you doing in a place like this?”
“Avoiding guys like you” Leon replied coldly.
Cloud looked hurt.
“Ouch Leon”, fingers clutching the fabric of his shirt as if he were
wounded. “That was cold”
Sora felt left out and looked up at the two warring
males. “Umm…Excuse me. I’d hate to ruin this mother’s meeting, but
weren’t we going to find out what’s causing the heartless to keep coming back
here? Heeeeeyy…Ow! That hurt Cloud” and
hands moved to rub at his neck where the collar had pulled against his skin as
Cloud tugged it.
Leon was going to ask about the leash, but seeing
the collar around Sora’s neck and how he submitted to the blond sent images
into his mind, and shaking his head, he sheathed his gunblade and walked past
the pair. “Maybe later” he said, and
after a simple wave of his hand, was gone.
“Your right, he got out of the wrong side of the
bed,” Cloud said, looking down at Sora, who nodded in reply.
As Leon headed through the Waterway, eyes focused
down at the floor, he had no clue as to where he was going until the ground
beneath his feet nearly vanished from beneath him. Standing at the entrance to the castle, his gaze swept across the
rising falls and he let out a long sigh.
Wing played with the dark strands of his hair, idly tugging at the
locks, causing them to brush over his scared face. Eyes stared past the sight before him, staring into nothingness,
focusing upon the invisible.
Why did his brain have to plague him with such
images? Raising his hands, digits
fisted in his hair, body falling as he hunched over, curling up, rocking back
and forth, raking his nails through his hair, down the back of his neck and
over his chest, throwing his head back in an attempt to remove the erotic images
in his mind. All of his attempts
however, were in vain and he curled up tight, forcing his folded arms into his
stomach.
Without realising it, tears began to bleed from his
eyes, coursing down his pale face, tracing the scar slightly. He was a complete failure at everything he
did, even when it concerned himself. He
couldn’t save his home and his friends from the Heartless. He wasn’t able to get Sora home. Hell, he couldn’t even remove images from
his own mind. Emotions took hold of his
body, tugging at his heartstrings, causing tightness in his stomach. He had to do something to relieve the knot
in his stomach, and with a sudden lurch of his body, he was off through the
floating rocks, straight to the far end of the falls where no one ever
ventured.
And in that one, lonely spot, he sat, staring up at
the castle in the distance where the body he lusted for, the being he adored
was currently submitting to whatever devious plans the blond had in store for
him. Biting onto his lower lip, Leon
concentrated on the sound of the water rushing past, his right hand coursing
down his chest, trailing a finger over his body to come to his hips where his
leather pants hung loosely upon.
Slipping his eyes closed, pink tongue reached out between his lips to
wet his dry lips.
“Sora…”
Slowly and at an agonising pace, he unfastened a
few of the belts that hid the zipper to his leather pants, the sound of the
metal piece sliding down reaching his ears, loud against the sound of the blood
rushing in his ears and the sounds of the falls around him. Once it had reached its limit, the gunblade
warrior slipped his hand within the fabric, heading into the warmth of his
clothing. A slight gasp passed through
slightly parted lips as his aching organ met with the cool outside air, soon
replaced by a gently moan as he began caressing his own shaft.
“Sora…”
Leaning back, his shoulders touched the ground
beneath him as Leon lay upon the floating rock, slender digits curled around
his erection, sliding up and down, hips bucking slightly as he continued to
pleasure himself. Lower lip was drawn
into his mouth, held by his teeth, blocking the pathway for any more moans that
tried to escape from his body. Thumb
slicked over the drops of pre-cum that began weeping from the head, his hand
now sliding from hilt to tip in long, fluid strokes.
‘You have no idea what you do to me’
The strong, slow pace was increased steadily, but
not to the point where Leon was pumping furiously. In his mind, floated images of Sora in nothing but that collar,
his gentle caress being the one that was pleasuring his aching cock, cause Leon
to moan and writhe about so. In Leon’s
mind, Sora was skilfully working his body to completion, not his own
hands. Normally, he would of gone back
to his room and taken a cold shower, but it had al built up that Leon’s body
was begging for some sort of release.
And so he was giving it a way to release by the
long strokes up and down his shaft, more pre-cum leaking from his slit. The tightness in his stomach building, body
arched upwards, shoulders digging into the ground beneath him, hips bucking
into his own hand. The captive lower
lip was released as a long, low moan finally worked its way out of Leon’s
body. Finally the pressure was to
great, and Leon felt his whole body burst as he came by his own hand, cum
streaking from the slit.
Body collapsed to the floor beneath him, hand
stroking him still as he brought his own body down from it’s high. Letting out the breath he had no idea he was
holding in, Leon felt his whole body fall limp and he merely lay there upon the
floating platform, staring up at the sky through closed lids.
