Chapter 1: The Future
Author’s Notes:
Ok, in the opener for this story you got a quick view of
some girl getting raped by Ganondorf.
You’ll find out more about her and what was being talked about at the
end of that in this chapter.
This is meant to take place roughly 200 years after The Wind
Waker. Ganondorf of course is definitely
not gone forever. Has he ever been? Legend of Zelda without Ganondorf is like LoZ
without Link, or without Zelda *which is why Majora’s Mask bored me
senseless. Well that and the time limit dealio, and a number of other things*.
It just doesn’t work.
Ok, sit down, strap in, and shut up. Here I go.
The birds were
chirping.
Good, the world
hadn’t ended yet.
Graide yawned,
sitting up in his chair, cracking his neck a little. He shook his head vigorously
and looked around slowly. He was still
in his house…still in his chair. His bed
was next to him, occupied by a slumbering female. His eyes looked her over slowly. Her bright blonde hair spilled over the pillow,
her sharp green eyes closed in sleep.
Graide sighed quietly, wistfully.
Vaneza was her name. She was known to many within the village as
Caresta He’ Nakincha; Queen of Beauty. The villagers…they weren’t too far off. The soft curves of her body moved slowly with
her slumbering breath. She and Graide
had been together for over a year. Last
night had been their final time making love to one another. It had been less romantic than it had always
been previously. It had been rough,
almost violent, lusty, and desperate, like they were trying to get in a
lifetime of sex into a single night, and it sure seemed like they had
succeeded. Four hours after starting,
they had finished in a most unromantic way, Graide finishing in her mouth, on
her request. She had fallen asleep
within minutes, and Graide had crawled off the bed, sweat dripping off his lean
but muscular form. He had gone into the
bathroom, taken a shower, washed off, pulled his clothes on, sat down in his
chair, and fell asleep in it. He had not
slept in this chair since before he met Vaneza.
Just a bitter reminder of what had to be done. They had felt themselves distancing from each
other, both known it. Before they had
both decided to start cheating on one another, they both put it in the open
that they needed to be break up.
Graide sighed sadly,
standing up. He wore a loose black tunic
with black cloth pants, and black leather boots covered his feet, ankles, and
the lower half of his calves. His hair
was shoulder-length, straight, soft, and like his clothes, black. He loved black. He did not know why. He was a very attractive man of 22 years,
with navy blue eyes. He stood 6’2” and
weighed in at 215 lbs. of rock-hard muscle.
Graide moved over to the still-sleeping Veneza
and bent down, kissing her on the lips.
His hand rested gently on her left breast a moment as he did, then he
pulled away. He turned and walked out of
the door, as she stirred silently behind him.
The black-clad man closed the door behind him, walking through the many
trees. The village was built within a
jungle. Very small areas had been
cleared of trees for the purpose of growing crops. About fifty people lived here, all different
varieties of people, from the strong willed, minded, and bodied, to the weak, timid,
and cowardly, but they were all friendly, and looked up to Graide as their
guardian. He was a master with any
weapon, but he carried no designated trademark of his own. He was undefeatable at kickboxing, grappling,
hand-to-hand combat, martial arts…he had never been bested at anything, not
archery, not swordplay, not spear-dueling, disc-throwing…but he’d spent his
entire life training for it.
He glanced back at
his small hut, closing his eyes to keep the tears from spilling forth, then moved off through the forest. They had talked about being just friends…but
after all they had been through…he couldn’t look at her the same and feel for
her just as a friend. This village held
too many memories of them. He couldn’t
stay any longer. So, he didn’t. He faded into the mist of the morning, and
was never seen there again.
“Get up.”
She looked up to see
Ganondorf standing over her, his eyes ablaze with insane fury and hatred. She instinctively shrank back from him, until
he reached down and backhanded her across the face.
“I said, GET UP!!!”
“Y-y-yes, my-“
“SHUT UP AND GET
UP!!”
Shaking in fear, she
stood. He took a step towards her and
she instinctually recoiled, but he wrapped a hand around her neck and began
throttling her, punching her repeatedly in the stomach and whacking her across
the face. She sobbed, body reacting to
each blow and the violent shaking, but as usual, she could do nothing. She felt herself lifted up and tossed aside
like a rag doll, and then a mighty kick to her stomach as she picked herself
up. She flew several meters to the side,
landing in a heap on the ground, arms wrapped around her middle as she slowly
rolled in pain, sobbing but trying to control her sobs, knowing that, for
whatever reason, it just infuriated her captor even more. Ganondorf moved over and reached down,
grabbing a handful of her bright red hair and jerking hard at it, forcing her
face to look up into his, smirking at her shriek of pain and the sight of the
tears rolling down her face. Without
giving a logical explanation for doing this, as if he ever did, he smacked her
across the face, flinging her away and turning and walking out of the dank
cell. She curled up in the corner,
bringing her knees up to her chest and wrapping her arms around them, burying
her face in between them, not bothering to hold back her sobs. “Somebody…please…help me…” she whimpered,
knowing nobody could possibly hear her.
Except
someone did.
Many miles away,
Graide slept fitfully in the hollowed pit of a tree, shivering slightly. It was raining, as it always did in the
jungle, and it was suddenly very cold, for a reason, he had thought to himself, that was simply unexplainable…it was the jungle…and
it was the middle of the summer. Now, as
he slept, his dreams shifted back and forth between many images. Veneza and him when they had first met, and
how awkwardly they had stammered their hellos to one another, Veneza and him,
their first time making love with each other, and in general, how inexperienced
they had been, yet how perfect it had seemed…and then the memories
shifted. A beautiful girl from the
heavens with bright blue hair speaking to him of helping her sister, another
with green hair adding to her pleas, and then images of an even more
breathtaking female with bright red hair, a tattered red dress, cream-white
skin, flame-red eyes, shining with tears as a man in dark clothing like he, but
with dark skin and eyes more evil than anything he could ever imagine, abused
her horribly, throwing her around, beating her, raping her, sodomizing her,
breaking her spirit again and again many times within a minute, never
relenting. He watched every time that it
happened, from the first to the most recent, and somehow despite the fact it
was just a dream, he knew it was all real.
And then, moments before he awoke sweating and gasping for breath,
horror-stricken and with the memories of the dream still fresh in his mind, he
heard a soft, indescribably beautiful, terrified, pain-filled voice cry out as
if to everyone, but yet it seemed like it was directed to him and only him…
“Somebody…please…help me…”
Graide looked around
the cave, blinking owlishly and remembering the dream that had just finished
its sequence. It was more like a memory
of a real event than that of a dream. It
was so…clear. And that voice…that
woman… He frowned. He knew of the three goddesses, had heard
stories of how they had created the first lands, and later, gifted the world to
everyone’s ancestors. And despite the
total incredulity he felt about it…he could not help but feel that he had just
seen all three of them. For the life of
him, he could not remember their names…Den, Fora, and
Naru or something like that. Still frowning, he stood up, crawling out of
the hollowed tree and sniffing the air.
It was still raining, and from the scent of it, it was not going to let
up anytime soon. He paused a moment, and
then decided against remaining here any longer.
He had to keep moving. Strangely,
he had not quite felt the same way before he had fallen asleep. Maybe it was just that he was
rejuvenated. His navy blue eyes looked
northwest, the way he had come from, and then in the direction he had
previously decided he wanted to go, east.
That way, he knew, led to the ocean.
He had intended to go there and then head south along the coast until he
found somewhere he would settle in.
Then he looked northeast. He knew from travelers that way led to a
town. Before, he had wanted to avoid
going there completely, never trusting townsfolk. Now… He turned and moved off northeast, his deep
impressions in the mud left from his boots quickly covered by more mud and
rain. Whatever was there...he suddenly
wanted to know more about. By this time,
he was completely soaked, but he didn’t care.
He pressed onwards doggedly, his black hair plastered against his face
and the back of his head, neck, and shoulders.
The cold, the wetness, the wind, none of it affected him. He had always believed in destiny and he had
always followed it, and now, he felt destiny was telling him what to do…and he
never disobeyed it.
She looked up hours
later to see Ganondorf’s shadow standing over
her. Closing her eyes, she waited. For an hour, her screams rent the air as she
was beaten and sodomized. And strangely,
for once, her screams weren’t falling on deaf ears. Several miles away, wide awake and pressing
on…
Graide heard them.
Alright, that ends the first chapter. I already have the feeling I’m gonna have fun
with this. ^_^ Stay tuned, trickies.
