"Hey, I asked if you're okay," Alexandre said firmly, not caring that he had to look up into the elf's eyes. It did look to the warrior as though the long-eared man was just fine, though, primarily because he looked as though he was glowing. Maybe it was just because he appeared to be a devoted priest? Nah... maybe it was the bright, shimmering eyes? Nope.. maybe he had the hots for him?
By the Light, he hoped not.
Alex snapped his fingers in front of the elf's face, and that finally seemed to be enough to snap the giggly priest out of his daydreaming. "Ooh, me? I'm jus' fine, deary, thanks!" Xandy grinned broadly as he eyed the human up and down. Sure, the man was shorter than he was; that was a given, considering their races. However, those well built arms, the shoulder-length black hair, the small goatee on his chin...
Ooh, such a beautiful human. Such a beautiful, well built human...
Xandrienne was almost too busy fawning over Alexandre's well built frame that he nearly zoned out again. This time, however, he saved himself from looking like an idiot. "I'm really glad ya were here ta help me.. that man caught me by surprise." Xandy lowered his head a bit, looking a bit discouraged. He should have been able to take that guy, and perhaps any other time, he could have.
I'll have to next time, though, since there more than likely will not be a beautiful, well built human here to save me.
The aforementioned beautiful man was awfully modest, waving one of his large hands dismissively. "Wasn't a big deal. I was just in the right place at the right time, I guess."
"Yer tellin' me, sugar!" Xandrienne exclaimed back, relaxing enough to let out a light giggle. It was enough to make Alex stop and tilt his head for a moment in confusion.
Did he just call me... no, no, I'm hearing things. My mind's all cloudy and foggy from work still, that's all. Yeah, that's all.
The human scratched his head, somewhat from a sudden loss of words, which may or may not have been thanks to the pet name he was just called. "Yeeeah, so, uh, Alexandre's my name. Most people get lazy though and just call me Alex." He held out his hand, and was purposefully gentle with shaking the hand of the priest as he accepted the gesture. For an elf, he looked awfully dainty, enough to make Alex worry that he'd break the poor sap's hand if he had maintained even a relatively firm grip.
Xandrienne blushed lightly as he gingerly returned the handshake. "Well, I'm Xandrienne, but most'uh my friends call me Xandy." He let out another giggle and pulled his hand back to run his fingers through his waist-length violet hair.
Gods, his hands are strong.
Alex's mouth hung open as he tried to think of what else to say. But in all honesty, he felt like whatever he could say would probably be turned into something much different from what he meant. So, after a long pause, he finally decided to say...
"Oh, hey, looks like you dropped something. Let me help you with that." While he had thought about the elf taking his kind-hearted words as something more serious, he had no problem bending over to pick up the book and letter on the ground at their feet. Then again, once he noticed that both objects looked more than just similar to the ones he had tucked in the backpack slung over his shoulders, the last thing on his mind was a possibly gay elf staring at his ass.
Xandy slowly reached out to take the book and letter from the warrior's hands and Alex did not relent. Instead, Alex slung his backpack onto one shoulder and around so it was in front of him. Peeling it open, he glanced at the book inside. Yep, same design... He then filed through his things for that envelope. He took it out and ripped it open. Inside, in plain, easy to read Common handwriting, was:
'Meet at the Salty Sailor tavern. Saturday evening. 7 PM Goblin Servo Time.
-Vincent'
"'Ey, uh... Xandy, right? What does that letter of yours say?" Before the priest could even begin to read the letter, Alex spoke over him. "This guy wants you to go to Booty Bay, too, right?"
With a bit of a surprised look on his face, the elf nodded his head. "Erm, yes..."
Alex grumbled. "Fuckin' A."
"So, what do ya make of all this?" asked Xandy.
He and Alex had shared theories for what seemed like hours while they sat across from eachother in the Salty Sailor tavern. The letter did say that they didn't need to meet until the next evening, but Alex had hopes that perhaps he'd find this Vincent wandering around. No luck.
In the end, though, nothing made sense. It wasn't as though either of them knew eachother before, and they sure as hell didn't have any idea what they could possibly have in common for them both to be singled out by the same guy. All this speculation could only lead to a headache. A headache that Alex needed to fix. "Barmaid! Another round, please, before I punch a small child."
Xandrienne wracked his brain for any other ideas, but he was sadly drawing a blank. "Hrm... maybe we shouldn't try an' find the answers," he said finally, "maybe it'd be best if we jus' sorta talked an'.. let the answers come to us, eh? Maybe we'll find out that we have more in common than meets the eye!"
Alex shrugged lightly. They had gone through so many possibilities of what the Horde could have in store for the Alliance, what kind of corrupt politics could have them both involved, what kind of elf that would stalk a blacksmith and a very, very nancy priest, that they hadn't really bothered to get to know much more about eachother. "Alright then," the human replied, "in that case, what should we talk about?"
Xandy shrugged and clasped his hands together over the table that separated the two men. "I dunno! How 'bout the basics, yeah?"
With a nod, Alex began. "Well, I grew up in Goldshire, but I moved out to Westfall when I was sixteen. Since my training to become a paladin was usually based around there, I uh.. just figured it'd be easier to live close by instead of in the next district, you know? So.. after a couple years, I decided that bein' a paladin wasn't really for me, and I decided to become a warrior instead. That didn't really last long, either..."
Alexandre sighed faintly as he took a breath. His eyes seemed to lose their sparkle for a second, before he continued on. "I just decided that bloodshed wasn't really my thing, so I decided to go work in the smithing building in Goldshire. So here I am, nineteen years young, punching out Defias thugs, making weapons for anal retentive dwarves and.. recieving odd gifts from some cryptic elf who thought it'd be cute to take up a human name."
Xandrienne smiled. His life sounded as though it had more potential of being fun than his life had. And he sure did have some natural charm to his voice... the man was just so likeable, not just as someone that Xandy would've wanted to drag to bed with him, either, but as a reliable person.
Soon, however, the matter at hand presented itself once more and Xandrienne's smile faded from his features. "This man... he's an elf?"
"Yeh," Alex continued, "seems like one of them brooding types, too, y'know? Didn't you run into him?"
The priest shook his head slowly. "Nope, my momma- I, uh, mean m- my mother!- had answered the door, and he gave that stuff ta her ta give to me."
"Ah, I see. So, you dunno anything about this guy. Great..." Alex was a bit more than frustrated. His simple life had been interrupted by this random stranger just waltzing up to him like it was no big deal, and now he had to figure out why. "Pain in my ass," he grumbled.
Frowning at the remark, Xandy reached forward and- perhaps a bit too boldly- placed a soft hand over the human's. "No need ta get upset now, we're gonna figure out wha's goin' on, an' everythin's gonna be jus' fine! Besides, no good ever came from swearin' an' causin' a fuss, right?"
Alexandre looked at the hand on his. Looked at Xandy. Looked at the hand. Looked at Xandy. Looked at the hand. Looked at Xandy.
"Here's your Rumsey Rum, 'Lex," said the barmaid as she returned upstairs to the two men, with a full mug of ale in her hand, "and I've told you a thousand times, dear, stop it with the threats of punchin' kids. You'll scare all the loc-"
The woman's sentence trailed off suddenly, just as she noticed the hand holding over the table. Alex turned and glared at her. Sure, he didn't say anything, but the look alone sure meant worse than 'I'm going to punch a small child', that was for damn sure. Slowly, she placed the mug flat on the table, raised her hands up in the air defensively, and backed away from the two men, leaving them to their conversation.
"Hrm, I wonder wha' she was busy lookin' at!" Xandy exclaimed with a cheerful smile, not caring that his hand was still touching the warrior's.
"She was probably wondering at what point we were going to be going to the upstairs rooms to fuck, with your hand on mine like that," Alex answered bluntly, to which Xandy's cheeks flushed brightly, and his hand recoiled in an instant.
"I'm sorry!" he snapped back, "I didn't mean ta.. y'know... sorry!"
Great, Alex thought to himself, now I really feel like an asshole.
Sighing softly, Alex leaned forward a bit, but not before taking a long swig of his drink. "Yeah.. it's no problem. I'm just not exactly used to another guy.. you know, being near me like that. Usually most guys I talk to are scared of me."
Xandy loosened up a bit. "Scared? But.. ya seem too nice ta be scary!"
"Yeah, well, tell that to the folks in Goldshire." Alexandre drank a bit more from his mug, before he stood up from his seat. "Anyways, I gotta go to the rest room, I'll be back in a minute." Without another word or moment's hesitation, the dark-haired man made his way across the bridge that separated the tables from the rooms, and out of Xandrienne's sight. Hopefully, with a little privacy and a few moments to collect his thoughts, he could figure out what to make of Xandy, and this predicament they found themselves in. Night was coming on fast, though, so whatever ideas Alex had, he'd need to come up with them quick.
"I don't need the help of strangers," Zidane said defiantly. Even pinned against a wall with the towering elf standing inches from him, he did not back down. It was one of his greatest traits, but also proved to be one of his biggest flaws on more than one occasion.
This time, it could've been categorized as a flaw.
Vincent shot his left hand forward, and the breath in Zidane's lungs was immediately choked out. "Human..." he trailed off, glancing down sternly at Zidane who was in the middle of a coughing fit thanks to the vice grip around his throat, "..your recklessness is going to get you into a lot of trouble some day, that I can promise you."
Vincent's other hand moved towards the smaller rogue, though it came with a much different touch. Much more deliberate... much more gentle.
What.. the hell.. is he doing?
To Zidane's wide-eyed surprise, the elf's other hand moved slowly down his chest, fingers snaking underneath his shirt to circle a thumb around his innie. "My mother and father may have had a thing for humans..." Vincent sneered as the hand quickly slipped out and repositioned itself, this time falling over Zidane's crotch. The human winced as loud as he could with the little air he had, as the hand then gave a squeeze. "I, on the other hand, want to see you live long enough to complete the job you've been given. Beyond that... you're nothing to me."
The elf pressed closer, and to both his amusement and Zidane's frustration, Vincent could feel the other rogue grow hard in his grip. "Hm.. you like that, don't you?" the elf asked, with a tone of voice that sounded almost intrigued. Zidane could feel the elf's chest push against him with each breath the much taller man let out. The elf's hand gently began soft, soothing circular motions around his package, occasionally stopping to give another playful squeeze. "Yeah.. you want it.. you need someone to touch you like this again."
With a wicked grin, Vincent loosened the grip around the human's throat, instead using that hand to soothingly stroke his neck. By the look in his eye, though, it was blatantly obvious it was only to tease, and nothing more.
"It is tempting.. I never have fucked a human before."
Zidane glared angrily as he squirmed with a renewed sense of urgency against the elf's advances. Vincent, however, could only laugh softly at the feeble attempts of the human freeing himself. Finally, the taller rogue let up, giving the human a mocking pat on the groin. "I'm only joking. Even if I wanted a man, I'd still have standards to hold up to."
That struck a nerve.
"Standards?" Zidane immediately pushed forward, and before Vincent knew what was happening, the human pushed his hips toward his hand. He then flung one leg haphazardly around the elf's waist and vaulted up with the other foot. To Vincent's displeasure, the smaller rogue was latched onto him, and kissing him on the lips. Hard.
The body contact caught the elf off guard just enough to have him stumble backwards and to the floor, just as Zidane had hoped for. It didn't matter what the situation was, but Zidane always had to be in control. Always.
He managed to slip a knee in between Vincent's legs, forcing them apart. Then, as he pushed against the apex of the other rogue's thighs, a triumphant smile formed on his face, breaking the liplock on the blue haired giant. "You don't want a man, hm? Seems to me- and your body- that all you needed was one who could get you on your back."
Vincent looked up at the human, as if wondering whether to strangle him or force him into giving him a blow job just to shut him up. However... he couldn't fault him for being awfully kinky. For a male. A human male, at that.
"Us rogues," Vincent muttered under his breath, "we're just full of surprises, aren't we?"
"Sure are." Zidane dipped his head down for another kiss, and this time it was returned by the elf underneath him with equal eagerness. Their tongues wrestled with eachother while the human's hips rocked against Vincent's out of the necessity for more warmth, more friction. Smirking against the heated kiss, the red-head slipped his hand downward just as the elf had before, though the human was quick to slip his fingers into Vincent's pants. It didn't take long for them to find the elf's thick member in his grasp. His fingers coiled snugly around the elf's cock...
...and at that moment, Zidane's body jerked upwards from the couch he'd been sleeping on. "Man... weird dream."
Morning came far too early for Zidane as he awoke tiredly from his dreams. Sunlight greeted him from through the window across from the couch he reclined on, shining on his semi-naked body.
Zidane wasn't an overly-muscled human, if he had any muscles at all. He was a bit on the small and slender side, and coupled with his bright red hair and his baby face, you wouldn't ever expect him to be the type to be a sneaky rogue peddling his wares in the darker alleys of Stormwind. With that said, it didn't need to be mentioned that he especially didn't appear to be the type who would be eager to stick a dagger in someone's back in a heartbeat.
Most, however, would be too busy swallowing their disbelief of the fact that he was married once, to even bother with thinking that he could've been one of those shady dealers that the Stormwind Guard wanted nothing to do with.
Groaning lightly, he began to quickly rub his arms in a lame attempt to get warm. That morning chill was still in the air, as it normally was with the September weather. And of course, naturally, as it would be to a man in nothing but a black silk pair of boxers. What he was mainly worried about though, was not the cold.
"I must be losing it.. having dreams like that." He didn't know exactly why he'd have a dream about trying to get himself into the pants of another man, especially one he seen for all of three seconds. Was he really that desperate for an outlet for sex after leaving his wife? It wasn't like Zidane really wanted to be with her anyhow; she was a worse alcoholic than any man he'd ever seen, and to have someone like that around with a child- his child- it was obvious that she wasn't one that would've meant for anything good except for a good lay.
But dreaming about love making with another male...
His thoughts trailed off there. The more he thought about it, the more he questioned himself about whether he really did mind it or not. It wasn't as though he was overly apalled by the prospect, and certainly not scared of it...
That was when he realized, however, that it didn't matter. Oliver mattered. He needed to spend some time with his kid before his son didn't need him at all. That was what scared him.
"Fishing. Yes... I need to go fishing." First thing's first, though; if the erection he kept in his boxers was any indication, Zidane was going to need a cold bath.
