A/N: Hi guys! Sorry I've pretty much stopped writing like all my fics, first I was discouraged by lack of reviews but then my computer crashed and I lost the chapter I already had ._. So I was going crazy trying to rewrite it but that damn writers block yo I hope I get out of my Lazy-writer-syndrom <3 I'll try busting out more chapters! Anyway onto the story!

Roxas groaned as he woke up. He turned the alarm off and glared at the numbers on the clock. 10:00 AM. What an ungodly hour.
He stretched, knowing very well Kairi would be texting him their plans soon. Just then he heard his phone vibrate.
'Like clockwork..' he smiled rolling over and grabbing it off the nightstand and sliding it open. Rox, meet us @ the mall @ 11:30. Don't b l8!
He sent her a quick reply and got up. He padded over to his dresser and pulled out a white long sleeved shirt and grey pants. He was so used to warm weather it wouldn't effect him much. He quickly dressed then headed off into the bathroom the brush his hair and teeth. Putting on a necklace that had a pendant on it that matched one that Kairi had.
Going back into the room he grabbed his wallet and cell phone slipping them into his pocket. Putting some converse on and headed for the door. As soon as it was open, Cloud was standing there about to knock.
"Hey, you're meeting up with Kairi and the gang soon right?" He asked looking over Roxas a little.
"Uhh yea, heading to the mall right now. Need something?" Roxas gave his dad a questionable look for a minute. He knew on their days off Roxas and Kairi hung out. "Actually I was just wondering if maybe Axel could tag along. Apperently Leon's getting a little sick of him, says he's kinda mopey, not focusing, and something about setting fire to little things... Thought maybe you guys could show him around, help him meet new people."
'Great...' He thought for a second. "Sure, I'm sure Kairi and the others wont mind." He replied with a forced smile.
Cloud chuckled and ruffled his hair. "Just give him a chance. He doesn't have anyone but Leon right now. I'll tell Leon to send him off and wait at the entrance of the mall by the fountain. It shouldn't be too hard to find him." He said patting Roxas's shoulder and walking off.
Roxas sighed a little and started going downstairs, this was torment. It didn't help that Roxas was attracted to Axel, but it was also a lost cause. The chances of Axel being gay were slim, things like that didn't work out for him. He pulled open the door and closed his eyes at the feeling of the warm air. He was sure he'd never get tired of that feeling. He grabbed his bike and took off. He passed the shop, and entered the semi crowded town. There where restaurants, truck stops, arcade, bowling. The mall had basic brand clothing stores, a movie theatre and food court. He locked up his bike, texted Kairi where he was and walked into the mall, instantly greeted with a rush of cool air. It was friday so it was decently active with teens and adults. He walked toward the fountain and finding Axel was as easy as his father had guessed.
You could see that red hair a mile away. Other people, he noticed, had also looked at the boy curiously, and even a few girls would glance at him and giggle and blush. But he couldn't be bothered because as Roxas got closer he clearly saw Axels head down and transfixed on his DS.
Roxas smiled a little as he stood infront of him for a good 2 minutes. "You sure bring a lot of attention to yourself without even trying." He said casually, and jumped a little when Axel's head shot up.
"WHOA! Don't sneak up on a man! You scared the hell out of me." He laughed.
'Oh god that laugh....how was a LAUGH attractive?!' "Sorry, but in my defense I was standing here for 2 minutes for you to notice me." Roxas chuckled.
"oh well...sorry then, I was pretty into this game." He replied gesturing to his DS before turning it off and standing to slide it into his pocket.
If Axel didn't stick out like a sore thumb before, he definitely did now, towering over Roxas by at least a foot and a few inches with his hair. They stood there awkwardly, but it gave Roxas a bit of time to look the taller boy over. He was wearing a black, well fitting botton up shirt that had shortish sleeves, and was decently long to cover such a long torso. If Roxas hadn't notice some muscle definition before, he sure did now. He was also wearing normal black pants and green converse. He looked so good, and it wasn't fair.
Axel got a good eyeful of the sexy little blonde. 'Damn...how is a boy so fucking sexy, beautiful even?!?' He inwardly yelled. Finally one had to break the silence between them. "So...what are we gonna do today?" Axel asked looking around. And right when Roxas was about to say something he was cut off.
"ROXAS!!" That girly voice couldn't come from anyone other than Kairi, she skipped up to them with a bright amazing smile on her face. Sora, Riku and 3 other friends, Hayner, Olette and Pence soon where with them. Roxas quickly hugged Kairi. And did a 'sup' motion to the rest of them, which was returned in the same manner. He suddenly remembered Axel.
"Um guys this is Axel, Leons...Nephew?" He said a little questionably to him.
"Yea, it's easier to call me that." He laughed a little nervously.
"And this is Kairi, Sora, Riku, Hayner, Olette and Pence." He introduced them all. And exchanges were made.
"So what do we wanna do?" Kairi asked after everyone was thoroughly introduced and acquainted.
"I'm kinda in the mood for food!" Pence piped in, with a rather loud growl from his stomach, and they all laughed, even Axel.
"haha ok lets get some lunch and we can talk more." She said taking Sora's hand and leading them toward the food court.
Once there they all split for their seperate food of choice. Pence to chicken bistro, Hayner and Olette to Panda Express, Riku to some little mexican themed one, Sora and Kairi to Subway. Roxas looked around trying to decide what he wanted to eat.
"hmmm maybe I'm not hungry..." he murmured to himself.
"Wanna share something?" Roxas jumped a little and turned to Axel staring at him. "I'm not really hungry, and it looks like you can't choose either." He said noticing the blonde internally fighting a blush. 'God he's too cute!'
"Um...sure. Fries are good for sharing.." He answered sitting down so that he wouldn't fall down.
"Sounds good I'll be right back." Axel smiled a little as he got up and made his way to Hot Dog on a Stick, they made the best fries.
'Ok..how many guys offer to share food...I guess friends would do that..' Roxas never had this happen, so he didn't know what to think. He'd never had any of his guy friends offer to share food. Sure, they'd snag some but never offer to actually share. Maybe he was just over thinking things..
"I saw that you know." Roxas jumped a little as Kairi sat next to him. "Roxas is he..."
"I don't know, and I don't plan to find out anytime soon." He replied, a little to quickly. "I just..don't want to make an asshat out of myself.."
"Roxas you wont make an asshat out of yourself, just...stay cool, good things will come on their own." She chuckled bumping her shoulder against his, effectively making him smile.
Everyone soon gathered to the table with their food, Axel sitting next to him with the basket of fries to be between them. Roxas avoided them for a few minutes, content with making it look like the fries were actually Axels instead of making it look like they were sharing. Eventually he plucked one and ate it, only briefly catching Axels all to sexy smirk. But no one else seemed to catch it. And casually began to eat them.
"So Axel, where are you visiting from?" Pence asked after inhaling half his food.
"I'm from Twilight City, I lived with my Grandma and Brother." He answered putting another fry in his mouth.
"Dude, that's swanky! Twilight City has like everything, mountains.."
"SNOW!" Olette clapped her hands together.
"A train station that goes all over the city." Riku added, clearly impressed.
Axel chuckled, "It's not that great if you've lived there all your life like I have. It loses its coolness after you've ridden every train, found every interesting place."
"Why would you come here? Is this some kind of punishment?" Hayner asked throwing his arm around Olette casually.
Roxas glanced at Axel right as Axel looked right at him before turning back to the guys. "I guess you could say that. My Grandma thought it'd be a good idea for me to get away, clear my head, get fresh air, soak up some sun. That bullshit."
Roxas could feel that that was more to his story, something deeper, but didn't blame Axel for keeping things low. He just didn't want to seem like a troubled person and lose his chances at having any friends. In a way, he was a lot like Roxas, having to hide something from anyone. Maybe if they became friends, Axel would tell him.
They dropped the subject for awhile, instead switching over to talk about car things, after Roxas reminded them that Axel was helping out at the garage. Roxas was never into cars or motors like his dad but seeing Axel light up when he talked about it made him smile. Knowing this was something Axel was his complete self with made Roxas feel good. He was content with watching the guys be gear heads, watching Axel smile made his heart warm. He never felt this way with anyone, he never really even had a crush on a guy before.
"Roxas." He was snapped out of his daze and turned to Kairi and her evil smile. She leaned over and got really close to his ear. "Your tongue is hanging out of your head." she giggled.
"God I hate you." he laughed pushing her away.
"Anyway." She shoved at Sora so it'd create a domino effect of everyone bumping into eachother. "What are we going to do now. Movie?" She asked.
"Sounds good to me. They're showing old horror movies for 5 bucks, I'm down for that." Riku said. They all agreed and headed over to the theatre. Roxas noticed Axel hanging back out of the group, slowing his pace until Axel was next to him. When Axel looked over at him, he smiled and Axel smiled back.
"Since you got fries, want me to buy your ticket? It's the least I can do." Roxas held his breath subconsciously, what if that was weird..if they weren't in a big group it'd seem like a date..
"Yea actually that'd be great." Axel smiled as they got to the theatre.
Roxas was glad no one said anything when Roxas bought both his and Axels tickets to Texas Chainsaw Massacre.
Except Kairi, because apparently she knew everything that could ever happen.
Not like the guys had never bought tickets for eachother, they were all rather close friends. This was just paranoia.
When they got into the theater there were quiet a few people already seated. Axel moved toward the 3rd row from the front.
"Axel were are you going?" Roxas asked reaching out to grab his arm. It startled him when he could swear he felt a twinge of electricity from the simple touch.
"uhhh...going to sit down.." he relied rather confused.
Riku laughed and sora just grinned, "Roxas is crazy when it comes to sitting in theatre's."
"He always has to sit in the "prefect spot"." Hayner laughed too, walking up the stairs.
Roxas tried to fight the blush trying to make its way to his cheeks. "....The best spots are open.." he looked down as he too made his way up the stairs.
"And what spot is the "prefect spot"?" Axel asked following them.
"3rd or 4th row from the top, and in the center." Kairi said giggling and sitting down. "I've told him a million times it doesn't matter but he still has an OCD about it."
"It's not an OCD! It's a fact!" He looked at Axel. "It's prefect because you don't have to look up at all or turn your head." he explained.
"huh never thought about that but I get it." Axel smiled at Roxas and sat down.
"Well good, atleast someone gets it but it's stupid to everyone else." Riku said kicking his feet up on the empty seat infront of him.
Roxas felt hot all of the sudden. Did Axel just say that to make him feel better about getting picked on. Not that it really mattered, but he was glad Axel didn't think he was weird. Just accepted him.
They talked for a little while until the lights dimmed and the movie started.
Chapter Note: Sorry if this chapter's a bit boring but I wanted to save the movie for the next chapter. And if anyone was curious about why I changed Twilight Town to Twilight City, it sounded fancier lmao and added more shtuff because ya kno, yolo lol See you next chapter!
