(A/N: And this is chapter 2. There's sex in it, so beware. Although this IS AFF, so... yeah, you likely expect it, hm?
At any rate, I'm closing in to the point where this reimagining merges with MGQ canon, so expect to see Alice soon. In the meanwhile, enjoy this offering.

Two more months passed, and Luka’s training continued. Slowly but surely, he gained a firm grasp of the basics of swordplay, and his physique began to show the fruits of the daily exercise, with his body developing a noticeable muscle tone while still remaining thin and agile, and losing its baby fat.
One day, Liese dropped by for one of her rare visits during Luka’s training, bringing food and beverage. As Luka practiced a ways away from them in the courtyard surrounding the old ruin in the woods, the two women sat in front of its entrance, watching, and suddenly Liese began talking to Thermidor...
----
“Are you feeling all right?”
The sudden question caused Thermidor to stop drinking her herbal tea and look at the woman sitting by her side, who was watching her quietly. While Liese had largely ceased accompanying Luka to his training sessions, she still occasionally paid the monster woman a visit by herself in the evenings, and the two had become close friends, often chatting and gossiping about what little news made their way down to the remote location Ilias Village was in. However, as time went on, Liese couldn’t help but notice that Thermidor’s condition grew steadily worse, and found herself worrying, trying to think of a way to ease her suffering.
“I will be fine, but thank you for your concern,” Thermidor replied in a reassuring tone. Liese’s face, however, clearly showed she did not believe her friend’s words.
“You’re not fooling anyone, Thermidor,” she chided her, concern creeping in her voice. “Even Luka couldn’t help but notice you look unwell, and asked about it. I told him you’re sick, and refrained from being more specific, but he’s upset and told me I should do something to help you.”
“Ah, so that’s what has been distracting him lately,” Thermidor replied, shifting her gaze to the practicing boy. “I thought there was something on his mind. He has been making far too many mistakes lately for someone normally as dedicated as he is. I’ll have to think of a way to try and reassure him...”
“Well... I did tell him I had something in mind and would talk to you about it. That seemed to tranquilize him a bit,” Liese said. Giving Thermidor a sharp look, she continued. “But I do believe this needs to be discussed.”
“I already told you, Liese - I am running out of time, and there’s not much else to be said about it,” Thermidor stated, looking back at her. “I know you think I’m taking this the wrong way, but what else could I do? At the very least, I will make sure I complete Luka’s training. It is my hope he will continue on where I left off.”
“You really should just have sex with someone...” Liese started, only to be cut off by a wave of the other woman’s hand.
“We already went over this. It’s too dangerous,” she stated flatly. “In my current state, I am not sure at all I could stop in time to keep from draining my partner dry, and I won’t have another needless death on my head just to save myself. Perhaps it’s better this way, anyway...”
“I disagree. If anything, this world needs more monsters like you,” Liese replied with certainty. “And, if you are so worried about being unable to stop, why not get a third person to help so they can force you to stop should that happen?” At that, a mirthless laugh escaped Thermidor’s lips.
“Are we talking about pigs soaring, majestic and free, over the icy reaches of Hell, now?” the fencer replied, sarcasm dripping from her voice. “You know as well as I do how incredibly hard it is to find one person willing to have sex with a dangerous monster like me nowadays... let alone finding another person willing to peel the first off me, or viceversa, if something goes wrong. It’s such an unrealistic idea, it’s not even worth discussing - especially not here of all places, where nearly everyone is a dutiful, fanatical follower of Ilias’ teachings. They’d just as soon slit my throat themselves than help me. That’s how things truly are.”
“That’s... unfortunately true,” Liese agreed, falling silent in quiet speculation. Thermidor sighed, glad the discussion was over. Lately, Liese had been more insistent in bringing this topic up, and while she appreciated the concern, it was a frustrating talk to have every single time.
A few minutes passed, with the two women watching Luka’s training without further talking. Then, Liese suddenly broke the silence.
“...if the only problem is finding two willing partners, would Luka and I be adequate?” she asked, out of the blue.
It took a second for Thermidor to process the words, and when she did, she reflexively spat out the herbal tea she’d been sipping. Casting a bewildered glance at Liese, she expected to see her chuckling, thinking it a joke at her expense. Instead, she was met with a completely serious expression.
Thermidor needed several seconds to put enough order in her thoughts to answer the human woman’s question, and when she did, her reaction was hardly calm or composed.
“Have you gone completely insane?” she nearly growled out, barely managing to keep her voice down so that Luka wouldn’t hear their discussion. “I told you that I am a dangerous monster, and anyone who has sex with me could die... and you suddenly come out with this reckless notion of letting your own son take such a risk?! ...is that even how a mother should think?”
Liese quietly let her vent, a serene but firm expression on her face. Then when Thermidor managed to somewhat regain her composure, she spoke up again.
“I knew this is how you would see it,” she said, smiling. “I am glad to see you are primarily concerned for Luka’s wellbeing. I am, too... and I assure you,” she continued, her expression hardening, “if I thought he’d be in any actual danger, I wouldn’t even think of proposing this arrangement.”
“Then I have to question your judgment of the situation,” Thermidor stated flatly. “He would be in actual danger. You of all people should realize it.”
“I told you before, in our past conversations,” Liese continued, seemingly unmindful of the interruption, “that I learned to trust my instinct in matters like these. And in this case, my instinct tells me there is no danger. Luka will be completely safe... I just know it.”
“Forgive me for not sharing your certainty,” was the swordswoman’s dry reply. “And in the first place, where did you get this idea that offering up your son as a monster’s dinner is a sensible choice?”
“...”
Liese fell quiet at that, looking down at the ground. Thermidor remained silent, as well, curious in spite of herself. Something about Liese’s behavior suggested she had been thinking long and hard about it, and while she was going to turn down the offer, she admittedly was interested in discovering the meaning behind it.
“...Luka is getting to be that age, by now,” Liese started talking in a quiet tone. “As you are certainly aware, this is an unforgiving world. With monsters roaming around and getting more desperate to find men due to Ilias’s teachings widening the rift between the species, it’s becoming increasingly common for young boys like him to have their first experience end up as being raped by a random passing monster and treated as mere food.”
Looking up at Thermidor, Liese smiled wistfully. “Luka likes you... adores you, even, and if at all possible, I would like his first time to be with someone he feels affection for - be it a human or a monster - rather than being forcibly held down and violated by a nameless wandering monster out of nothing but hunger.”
Thermidor found herself at a loss for words. She could find no fault in Liese’s logic, although she was still surprised the other woman would be open minded enough to consider a monster as an acceptable choice. It was true that with the current state of things, the likelihood of something like what she had just described happening was extremely high, her training to Luka notwithstanding. Monsters were simply naturally more powerful than humans, and that difference was often enough to overwhelm even the most skilled warrior.
She could now see why Liese had proposed something like this. She still found the danger it would place Luka in to be unacceptable, but she could sympathize with the feelings behind the proposal.
“I’m flattered that you’d consider me the right woman for something like this, but the risk Luka would be exposed to in the process still makes this solution far too dangerous to accept,” she finally said, shaking her head. “I will be honest: I wouldn’t refuse if things were different. But as they are... I cannot in good conscience take you up on your offer. And besides, this completely disregards Luka’s own will. I don’t think he sees me that way. What if he were to refuse?”
“...I think I know him better than you as far as that goes, Thermidor,” was Liese’s reply as a small smile spread across her lips. Then she grew somber again and got up, dusting her dress off. As she started to walk away, heading home, she stopped and looked behind herself to the still-sitting monster woman.
“I can see that you don’t believe my instinct is trustworthy in this situation, and I will not attempt to sway you from your decision,” she said quietly. “But I want you to know this: when I asked Luka if he’d be willing to put himself in danger if it meant a chance to make you healthy again, he unhesitatingly answered he was ready to do anything, no matter the risk, to see you get better. He was serious... there was a determined light in his eyes that I’d never seen before. That’s how much you have come to mean for him. I will respect your decision for now, but I do hope you will truly give it careful consideration. Because as things are now... when you die, Luka will be crushed.”
With a courteous nod, Liese turned away again, and walked off.
Left alone, Thermidor sat still, staring at the spot she had disappeared in. Then her eyes turned to Luka, and she watched him practice, pondering.
Lost in thought like that, she didn’t take her eyes off him for the rest of the day.
----
Time passed, and Luka dutifully continued his tutelage under Thermidor. The fencer observed him, day by day, as his body grew strong and his skill improved. At one point, she decided the time for wooden swords was over. In agreement with Liese, she had an iron sword forged for the boy. Much like her own weapon, she had it designed as a bastard sword.
Due to Luka being oddly small for his age, it was more a short sword with an unusually long grip, but for his build and size, it was closer to being for him what Thermidor’s own sword was to her, scaled down to even the balance. When the two women felt the time was right, they presented it to him.
----
“Is this really mine?” Luka asked, his eyes shining as he admired the iron sword lying on the table before him. The two women on the other side nodded.
“Thermidor and I talked a while ago, and we came to the conclusion it was time to give you an actual weapon,” Liese said with a smile. She then grew serious. “That said, don’t think you are being given permission to hurt people or animals at random. Thermidor believes it is time for you to get used to an iron weapon... and for my part, I will feel a bit safer if you carry something other than a wooden sword, since I hear there’s been cases of travelers being attacked by both bandits and monsters recently.”
“Speaking of which,” Thermidor chimed in, “you should try to avoid confrontations if at all possible, even though you now have a real weapon. In particular, try to avoid monsters. I know you probably feel like you could take on the world now, but believe me, to most monsters I’ve seen, you’d be little more than an appetizing morsel. You’ve got good legs; use them. Run if you meet monsters, and for good measure, if you meet bandits as well. The time will come when you can stand your ground and fight, but it probably isn’t now.”
“Ehhh, I’m still not ready after all that training?!” Luka pouted, but he couldn’t help smiling as he took the new sword in his hand and lifted it. He blinked in surprise and lost his balance a little as he felt the different weight. “Wow, this is heavier than the old one. Will I really be able to use it?”
“With practice comes perfection,” Thermidor replied with a smirk. “Which means starting tomorrow, you’re going to be put through the wringer again. Welcome back to Hell, boy.”
“Whaaaaaat? Big sister is mean!” Luka cried out in protest at hearing that. “Don’t tell me it’s back to swings again?”
“That’s right,” Thermidor laughed. “You have to get used to the new sword’s weight and balance. But if it makes you feel better,” she added, seeing the frown on Luka’s lips, “it should go much faster this time. You already have the basics down pat, all you need to do is work on getting used to the new weapon’s characteristics.”
“Okay!” Luka nodded enthusiastically. “I’ll do my best!”
“Good, I expect nothing less from you,” the swordswoman replied with a nod. Then she got up with a grunt of exertion, and walked over to the fireplace, tiredly letting herself drop on the makeshift bench she had set up before it. While she was in no need of warmth, she found it comforting still.
Luka did not miss the noises she made, having become more attentive to her tiredness lately. With an alarmed expression, he walked up to Thermidor and peered at her from the side.
“Big sister, are you all right?” he asked, worry creeping in his voice. She looked up at him and smiled, affectionately rubbing his hair.
“Are you concerned about me? You’re a precious child,” she said, eliciting a smile from the boy. “Don’t worry, I will work something out. You should focus on training...”
“Okay...” Luka nodded, a tint of doubt in his reply. Turning around, he took the sword and started towards the exit, intent on practicing in the courtyard. Before leaving the room, however, he stopped and looked back at Thermidor. Briefly hesitatingly, as if searching for the right words, he finally spoke.
“Big sister... if there’s anything I can do to help you, let me know,” he said. “ I’m worried... you look more sick every week, and I... I don’t want you to die. So, promise me? That if there’s anything I can do for you, you’ll tell me?”
“...”
Thermidor regarded the boy before her thoughtfully. He was clearly concerned, that much she could plainly see. She did not think he fully realized all the implications of the situation; Liese must have kept the details a secret, after all. But even he could see something was plainly wrong, and he was anxious.
He was also very, very serious. She had not really given it much weight when Liese mentioned it, thinking she had been overstating things, but now that Luka had come out and declared it himself, she could see that the human woman hadn’t exaggerated things at all. There was a certain light in the boy’s eyes... the same light she had seen in the eyes of men and women ready to do anything, even if it meant grievous harm to their person, to help someone they held dear.
The silence stretched as Thermidor contemplated the boy before her. After a long, drawn out period of silence, she at last nodded slowly.
“Very well... If I absolutely feel that there’s something I can in good conscience ask of you, I will,” she reluctantly agreed. “That is as much as I can promise you without feeling uneasy about it, though. You will have to settle for that.”
“Um, okay... it doesn’t feel like much, but if that’s what you want...” Luka replied with equal reluctance. He was clearly dissatisfied with the answer he’d received, but Thermidor showed no inclination towards conceding a little more.
After a final moment of hesitation, he bowed to the swordswoman and left, running outside in the courtyard.
Left behind with Liese, Thermidor sighed deeply. To her side, Luka’s mother cast a meaningful gaze her way.
“I told you so, did I not?” she pointed out. “He means it... and so do I. The offer still stands, and will for as long as it’s needed. Please do consider it, Thermidor.”
Without waiting for an answer, the human woman turned and left. Sitting by herself in the ruined house she had elected as her home, the monster woman was left alone, facing her inner turmoil.
----
Six months had passed since that fateful meeting in the forest. During that time, Luka diligently trained every day, growing stronger and learning more and more about the art of fighting.
In that same period, however, Thermidor’s own strength had slowly been decaying. By now, she found herself unable to advance Luka’s training past single practice and to sparring, being too tired to do much more than move around and instruct him. Frustrated at her own inability to carry on her initial goal and worried about Luka’s increasing anxiety due to her ailing health, the fencer found herself unable to decide what to do for the first time. In her current condition, she would soon run out of energy and perish, unable to fully complete the training of the young boy she’d come to view as a little brother.
Then, one day an unexpected event took the decision away from her.
----
Luka skipped along the road, humming. He was in high spirits, having been promised by Thermidor that he’d be taught an actual technique for fighting during that afternoon’s session.
As he walked along the dirt road that led from Ilias Village to the forest ruins, he stopped, suddenly aware that something was wrong. Looking around, he finally discerned what the oddity was - the noises of the forest had died down.
That usually meant some kind of dangerous being was nearby. The forest’s noises only ever died down if the creature that scared the other denizens of the wood off was dangerous to them as well, which could mean a wild animal, a bandit (as he knew all too well), or...
A squishing sound interrupted his thoughts, and he took a step back as an unusual form emerged from the underbrush before him. After a second of confusion, he realized what he was looking at - the female-shaped, translucent form before him must have been a Slime Girl - a monster!
A tinge of fear crept into him as he remembered Thermidor’s warnings: monsters were far stronger than humans, and he was too immature to be a match to one. Taking another step back, he began to look for escape routes, and that was when the monster before him noticed him and began to talk.
“Oh? It’s a human boy,” the Slime Girl giggled. “How nice! I was just getting hungry... hee hee, time to eat~!”
“Guh...” Luka gasped out, feeling the beginning of panic rise up within him. The monster looked slow and harmless enough, but he’d been repeatedly warned to never underestimate any monster he met, as that was often the first and last mistake anyone made. Cautiously keeping an eye on the Slime Girl, he began to creep backwards, ready to dart away.
The monster, for her part, eyed him curiously, as if sizing him up. Finally, she pouted, looking unhappy.
“Aaah? You’re so tiny,” she complained. “There’s no way you’re going to be enough to fill me up. Oh well,” she continued with a shrug and a grin, “If a human kid is alone out here, then that means there’s a village nearby. I’ll just have to go there and look for more food after this light snack...”
Upon hearing that, Luka froze. The monster was going to attack the village?
Slowly, he realized that this was one of those situations both Thermidor and his mother told him about: a time when a true Hero had to stand his ground, regardless of how hopeless the situation may be. If he fled now, what would happen to the village? This monster could bring total chaos to it, weak as it may have been.
Taking one step forward, Luka made his choice and drew his iron sword. He would rather be a Hero than a coward. The slime looked at him, puzzled.
“Hmm? You want to play?” she asked, then grinned greedily. “Sorry, but I’m too hungry for that. Now, give it to me~!”
Ignoring her words, Luka decided on a course of action. He very much doubted he could beat this monster - even though slimes were supposed to be the weakest of all monsters, he himself was still a novice. However, he could try to drive her away, at the very least.
Shifting his position to a more stable stance, he gripped his sword with both hands and waited for an opening, watching the Slime Girl as she approached. He patiently waited, occasionally taking little steps to the side to search for a better angle. Finally, the monster appeared to present an opportunity, and Luka seized it. Quickly stepping in, he slashed at her sideways.
The sword’s blade went straight through the slime’s body.
Eyes widening, Luka barely had time to react as the slime attempted to grab him with her gooey limbs. Backing away in haste, he watched in costernation as the “wound” he had inflicted closed up, leaving the slime’s surface smooth and flawless as before.
Of course, he realized. This monster is mostly made of water, isn’t it? My sword is going to be useless against this kind of body... I could cut her and cut her, but she wouldn't stay cut!
Realizing his mistake, he quickly retreated, placing himself safely out of range. The Slime Girl giggled.
“Silly, that thing can’t hurt me,” she stated, though Luka had already figured that out by himself. “Now, be a nice boy and come here. I promise I’ll make you feel really good~!”
Reassessing his choices, Luka realized they really had just been reduced to two: Run away and let the monster proceed to the village...
...or use himself as bait to lure her as far away as possible from it.
As he considered, he suddenly had a flash of inspiration: he was not too far away from where Thermidor was, and she had a magic sword! If only he could lure the slime all the way there, or at least within hearing distance--
A shuffling noise caught his attention, and he narrowly avoided a tendril of slime that had suddenly extended from the monster. Realizing that her reach was much longer than it appeared, he made his decision, and began to move away from the village, leading the monster on.
With that, a game of cat and mouse of sorts began. Luka would occasionally stand in one place, or slow down, luring the monster girl in, and then resume moving, deftly avoiding capture. The monster would follow, alternating between excitement at the prospect of almost catching him and frustration as he evaded capture.
The strange dance slowly lured the two away from Ilias Village, and closer to Luka’s intended destination. But as time went on, Luka began to feel fatigue. And he wondered...
Would he be able to get close enough to Thermidor before being captured, or...?
Distracted by his worries, Luka never saw the protruding tree root until his toe encountered it, and gravity asserted its dominance.
----
Not too far away, Thermidor looked up, frowning.
Luka was late.
Luka was never late.
Slowly pulling herself up from the log she’d been sitting on, she wondered if she maybe was overreacting a bit. While it was true that in six months, the young boy had never once showed up late at training, and in fact often showed up early, it was also true that an exception always existed for anything and everything.
Still, she couldn’t shake off the uneasiness she felt.
With a sigh, she decided to spend a little bit of what energy she had left to feel the surroundings. As an undead-class monster, she possessed the ability to sense lifeforce in the vicinity - a skill which normally undead types used to hunt down prey without needing visual contact. But it was also handy for tracking others down, and she had grown familiar enough with Luka’s life signature that she was sure if he was nearby, she would feel his presence.
Closing her eyes, she focused. Almost immediately, she picked up Luka’s lifeforce not too far away.
And he was not alone.
Her eyes shot open as she realized a monster had stepped in the area... and if the overlapping of life signatures was any indication, said monster was now attacking, or at the very least pursuing, the boy.
“Luka...!”
Pausing only to pinpoint the right direction, Thermidor dashed out, paying no heed to the sudden surge of strength that went through her body.
There was no way she’d let some random monster snatch up Luka.
----
“Gah!”
Luka struggled to get up and, at the same time, shake off the gooey tendril that had wrapped itself around his left leg.
Thanks to his moment of distraction, the situation had taken a turn for the worse. Aside from being in a bad position to begin with, he was finding himself unable to shake off the oozing tentacle the Slime Girl had seized him with, and on top of that he couldn’t swing his sword at it - unless he was suddenly fond of the idea of losing his foot.
The Slime Girl giggled as she inched closer, sending a few more tendrils out and gaining hold of his other leg.
“Hehehe, caught you~!” she said in a singsong voice. “You’re a bad boy. I had to chase you this far... you’d better give me a good meal!”
“Ugh... get off!” was Luka’s reply as he shook his legs, struggling to break free. As he moved around, he realized with alarm that his pants were melting where the slime had got hold of them.
“Hahaha, don’t worry,” the Slime Girl laughed, noticing his stare. “I'm not going to melt you... I think, anyway. Just so long as you feed me a lot, I won’t hurt you. Come on, it’ll feel really nice!”
“Wah... this isn’t good!” Luka cried out, panicking as more appendages seized his arms and torso. Tendrils began to climb up his legs from where they had taken hold of his feet, and where they went, no sign remained of his trousers. Scared, and energized by desperation, he struggled to get his limbs free from the slime. It was futile, though, and he was beginning to realize it.
When the cool sensation of writing slime tendrils made contact with his boyhood, and he saw the clothes dissolve there as well, he finally gave in to his rising fear, and shouted at the top of his lungs.
“Someone help meeeee!”
Instants later, he felt a violent pull on his arm, and was harshly wrenched out of the encroaching slime. His eyes watering from the burning sensation caused by the sudden movement, he looked up past his sore arm to see who had saved him.
Thermidor’s eyes met his own, briefly holding contact, then she shifted her gaze to the confused - and now more than a little upset - Slime Girl a distance behind.
“Hey!” the slime monster shouted angrily. “I saw him first! Give him back! Go find your own!”
Thermidor shifted her grip and pulled Luka over her shoulder, then cast an apologetic glance at the other monster.
“A thousand pardons, but this boy is my pupil, and he’s not anyone’s food.”
With that, she darted away, disappearing in the foliage along with Luka’s disheveled, half-naked form. The Slime Girl’s frustrated cry followed her.
“It’s not faaaaaair-!”
----
As the two darted through the forest, Luka mumbled something, still slung over Thermidor’s shoulder in a safe spot where her armor’s decor could do no harm to him. The monster, however, couldn’t quite hear him.
“Hm? You said something?” she asked. “You weren’t talking loudly enough. Please speak up.”
“I said I’m sorry,” he repeated, a little louder. “I know you told me to not try fighting a monster, but--”
“I’m going to assume that Slime Girl did or said something that made you try to stop it regardless of danger,” the swordswoman interrupted him. “You aren’t a stupid boy, Luka - overzealous, maybe, but not stupid. I want to believe you had reason to engage a monster, even one as weak as a slime, in battle. But right now, let’s not think about that. I’m bringing you home.”
With that, the pair fell silent again, both lost in thought as Thermidor continued her rush through the forest. However, the monster fencer was beginning to feel fatigued, and realized she had pushed herself way past the limits she considered safe. Bitterly, she wondered if that was as far as she would get to go, and resolved to at least make sure Luka would be returned safely to his own home.
For his part, Luka was replaying the ‘battle’ with the slime in his mind. He was well aware of where he’d gone wrong: he had made a very big mistake when he’d let his mind wander away from the fight in a moment of distraction, and had nearly paid for it. What he focused more on was the rest of his performance. He imagined Thermidor would want to hear all the details from him, and did his best to analyze his handling of the situation, trying to determine if he’d made any more mistakes along the way.
Like this, the two kept themselves preoccupied with their thoughts until the first evening lights illuminating Ilias Village came into view. Upon seeing them, Thermidor slowed to a halt and set Luka down, feeling woozy all of a sudden. Realizing she was almost completely out of energy, she told the boy to circle around the village and lead her to the rear entrance to his house.
Taking care not to be spotted, Luka led Thermidor by hand to his home, which fortunately was built on the outskirts of the village. The evening protected them, concealing any readily visible signs of her nature as a monster, as well as his partial nudity from the slime’s attack, but Ilias Village’s residents did not take kindly to outsiders either, and he was fairly sure getting caught would have dire consequences even if the villagers did not, at first, realize that his companion was actually a monster.
Thus, he used all the skill he could muster up to quietly maneuver the two of them until he finally reached the relative safety of his house’s back wall - no small feat, considering Thermidor was much taller than he was, and wore a very eye-catching suit of armor.
After a bit of fumbling with the key to his house’s back door, Luka managed to open it and led Thermidor inside, quickly closing the door. Immediately, he brought her into the kitchen proper.
“Mother!” He yelled with urgency as he helped Thermidor prop herself up against the wall. “I’m back! Where are you? I need your help!”
As he looked up at the swordswoman besides him, checking on her condition, Luka heard the sound of footsteps, followed shortly afterwards by his mother entering the kitchen.
“Welcome back, Luka. How did...” she began, then stopped and gasped as she took in his dirty, disheveled, half-naked appearance. “Oh my! What happened?! Are you all right?”
As Liese rushed over to her son and began checking on him, Thermidor looked up from the spot on the wall she was leaning on.
“Don’t worry, he’s fine, if a bit shaken,” she spoke up wearily. “A Slime Girl attacked him, and managed to get ahold of him long enough to ruin his clothing, but I managed to catch up to them and rescue him before things got out of hand.”
“I see,” Liese nodded, giving her a grateful look before she resumed checking Luka for wounds. “Thank you for saving my son. Truly, I am indebted to you. You look tired, though. Please, sit down while I get Luka some new clothes.”
As Liese turned around and began to lead Luka out of the kitchen, there was a scratching noise followed by a loud metallic crash. Looking back, both Liese and Luka froze in shock.
Thermidor had collapsed, and laid unmoving beside the house’s back door.
“T-Thermidor?!” the human woman called out, alarmed. As both she and Luka rushed up to her, she paled upon noticing the monster’s skin had almost completely lost the usual otherworldly glow it had. She instantly understood what that meant: the effort she had put into Luka’s rescue had used up what little energy she had left. She was now only hours, perhaps minutes, away from death.
While Luka shook Thermidor, trying to reanimate her, Liese finally reached a decision. Monster or not, the woman before her had saved her once and her son twice, from death or worse.
She just could not let Thermidor die.
Having made her choice, Liese gently but firmly grasped Luka’s arm, stopping his panicked attempts to shake the swordswoman awake. Luka looked up at her questioningly, close to tears.
“Luka... help me,” she said gently. “ We need to move Thermidor to the bedroom. We cannot leave her on the floor like this. Take her feet. I’ll lift her up by the shoulders.”
Luka was clearly confused by the instructions, but obeyed nonetheless, choosing to believe his mother knew what she was doing. Grabbing Thermidor’s legs in a firm grip, he waited for his mother to give the signal. Then they both pulled... and promptly let go with a grunt.
“Ah, she’s too heavy!” Luka cried out, frustrated. Gripping Thermidor by her leg-guards more firmly, he prepared to attempt lifting her again, but his mother’s raised hand stopped him.
“That’s a waste of time,” she explained. “She’s too heavy because of the armor; she told me herself her body weight comes almost entirely from that, and her actual body actually weighs very little. Help me - we should remove her breastplate. It’s the largest piece of armor she has on, and she should be light enough for us to move without it.”
“Um... okay,” Luka nodded. Following Liese’s gestures, he moved to Thermidor’s side, and held her torso upright as his mother fumbled with the chest piece’s releases. Having found them, Liese unfastened the bonds and began removing the armor with a sigh of relief. She had been unable to locate them at first, and for a second she’d feared that removing the breastplate would prove impossible.
As Liese set down the body armor, Luka looked over the unconscious monster woman’s now-exposed chest, and blushed involuntarily. Apparently, Thermidor wore no underwear whatsoever above her waist, and he got a good eyeful of her round breasts and smooth abdomen. He had become curious about women’s bodies, and seeing one other than his mother’s was having an effect on him. Idly, he noted Thermidor’s breasts were larger than he thought - he’d be barely be able to cover one of them if he used both hands.
Turning back to Thermidor and Luka, Liese managed to notice where the boy’s eyes were looking before he hastily averted his gaze, a crimson tinge adorning his pale cheeks. Inwardly, she smiled and felt more relaxed as she removed the swordswoman’s loincloth as well: what she had in mind might not prove as tough to accomplish as she’d feared, after all.
Nodding at Luka, she grasped Thermidor’s arms again, and signaled the boy to pull. This time, the two of them managed to lift the monster’s unconscious form, and with a bit of difficulty they managed to quickly transfer her to Liese’s bedroom and lay her down on her bed’s covers.
As Liese caught her breath from the exertion - she wasn’t as fit as Luka had become lately, and even without her body armor, Thermidor had proved heavier than she expected - Luka approached her anxiously.
“She’s not waking up, mother!” he said, panic evident in his voice. “What do we do? Please do something... d-don’t let Thermidor die!”
Turning around, Liese wordlessly reached for her son and, to his confusion, began to remove the tattered ruins of his clothes. After a few moments of bewilderment, Luka began batting away her hands, giving her an angry look.
“What are you doing?!” he protested. “This isn’t the time to get me a change of clothes--”
“That’s not what I had in mind at all,” Liese interrupted him, shoving his hands aside in response and removing the last scraps of fabric. “Luka, do you remember what we talked about a while back? About the reason why most monsters attack humans?”
“What’s that got to do with it?” Luka inquired, annoyed at the seemingly pointless diversion. Liese sighed.
“Luka... a lot of monsters feed on human males’ semen,” she bluntly reminded him. Luka opened his mouth to speak, stopped as realization set in, closed it and blushed violently. He was beginning to have an idea of what his mother was going to ask him.
“I see you are connecting the dots,” Liese continued, noticing his expression. “Right now, Thermidor isn’t just hungry, she’s starving to death. She needs food. But... I’ll be fully honest with you. She has refused to feed so far because, due to her nature as an undead monster, she doesn’t consume semen, but rather the lifeforce within it - and the lifeforce of her partner, as well. Because of it, she can kill men during the act.”
Liese gently cupped Luka’s face with both hands, leveling a serious gaze at him.
“Luka... I don’t believe you will be in danger,” she continued. “My instinct tells me you will be fine. But, even if I am sure I am right, there’s a chance I may be wrong. And if I am wrong, I want you to understand that this is a very dangerous thing I’m suggesting you to do. It has to be your choice. Do you value Thermidor so much you’re ready to risk the worst for her?”
Luka remained silent, deep in thought. Slowly, his eyes turned to look at Thermidor, then closed as he pondered. Then he opened them again, and Liese knew at once that his choice had been made.
“What do I have to do, exactly?”
--------
Thermidor slowly regained consciousness, her vision blurred and her body feeling extremely weak. She could tell she had barely enough energy left to think coherently, and maybe weakly move a limb around for a short while.
As she tried to get her bearings again, she felt a cool draft on her body, and her brows furrowed. With a small grunt, she looked down from the prone position she was in, and was surprised to find out her body armor had been removed. Then, she felt two presences besides her, and her gaze shifted to see a naked Luka slowly, hesitantly climb on the bed she was lying in, and Liese calmly holding his shoulders, murmuring inaudibly in his ear.
Her mind confused by her weakened state, she observed Luka move around until he was kneeling right before her, not sure of what he was trying to do. Then, he leaned in and gently gripped her knees, attempting to separate her legs. She blinked, her gaze shifting to Liese, and when she saw the quiet, determined expression on her face, she suddenly realized what Luka was trying to do.
Her reaction was immediate. Mustering up her remaining strength, she lifted her right arm and pushed it against Luka’s shoulder, attempting to shove him off.
“S... stop!” she managed to choke out, a feeling of dread washing over her. “You don’t know... what you are doing...! It’s too dangerous! Just... don’t...”
She saw Luka hesitate at that, looking at Liese. The human woman shook her head and leaned in again.
“Luka is aware of the danger, Thermidor,” she said quietly. “I explained it to him fully. He still wishes to help.”
“No... he mustn’t!” was the fencer’s reply as she tried to push the boy back again, meeting with even less success than the first time. “Please, Liese... if something happened to him, I...”
“But I don’t want you to die, either!” Luka spoke up, looking at her with a pleading expression. “If I can help... then I don’t mind. Even if it’s dangerous.”
“Luka, you can’t. I’m not worth the risk--”
“That’s not for you to decide, Thermidor,” Liese interrupted, an unusual harshness creeping in her voice. “Up until now, you kept downplaying the value of your life, thinking it not worth saving. But at least two people, here, want you to live. Luka wants it badly enough, in fact, to willingly put himself in harm’s way to ensure you do live. Calling your life not worth saving is like saying our feelings on the matter are worthless.”
At that, Thermidor paused. Seeing an opportunity, Luka himself decided to speak.
“I really don’t mind. I want you to get better,” he said quietly, looking at her with a resolute expression. “And if I couldn’t even save one of the people I love, what kind of useless Hero would I become? If I let you die, all I've done and believed in so far... It'll all have been for nothing! A lie!" He paused, breathing heavily. "I-I don’t want that either. I wanna keep my dream, and I wanna keep you! So please, even if I'm weak, and even if it is dangerous... at least let me try to help you!”
That was enough to break through the swordswoman’s remaining resistance. She couldn’t deny her body ached for Luka’s lifeforce, even as much as she hated to admit it. And while her concern for Luka’s safety was still great, his heartfelt appeal made her realize that even if she refused and let herself die, she’d just as surely kill him nonetheless - in a completely different, but far more soul-crushing way.
With that, she slowly let her arm drop back down, sighed, and closed her eyes, exposing herself for Luka to do with as he saw fit.
If nothing else, she would let him be in full control for his first time.
----
Liese internally sighed with relief as she saw Thermidor’s hand drop down on the bed sheets. For all that she’d been pushing Luka to take the active role, she honestly had no idea if she would have been able to keep him going had Thermidor expressed more opposition. Nor was she sure if she would have wanted to herself. While she wished to save the swordswoman, the idea of Luka’s first experience possibly amounting to rape didn’t sit very well with her.
Setting her relief aside, she once again gripped Luka’s shoulders softly, sensing he was unsure of what to do.
“Don’t worry about being perfect,” she murmured soothingly. “Just touch anywhere you like for the time being. She won’t mind, and it will get her in the right mood.”
Luka hesitated for a moment, then nodded. Reaching out, he cautiously placed his hands on the one spot that had attracted his attention first: Thermidor’s round breasts. He started a bit as a low hum came from the fencer, and stopped for a second, but as no negative signs were offered, he concluded it hadn’t been unpleasant, and began focusing on her chest.
As Luka tentatively explored, he couldn’t help but be surprised by how soft Thermidor’s breasts were. He’d rather expected the swordswoman to be firm and tough everywhere, but she felt just as soft in that spot as he remembered his mother to be. Reassured by the comforting sensation, he began squeezing the soft orbs lightly, eliciting a slightly louder hum this time. Looking up, he noticed Thermidor’s eyes were just barely open, and were observing him.
Deciding that the lack of reactions from the woman meant he was doing it right, he kept squeezing and fondling, finding the activity pleasant himself. Her skin had an odd quality to it - rather than feeling like a human’s, it felt like smooth velvet, and occasionally rippled slightly under his fingers. He wondered if it was normal in all women, or a reaction specific to her.
As his hands met her nipples, he noticed she shifted slightly. That seemed a good spot to feel around, so he began to focus on the small nubs, lightly passing his fingers over them. He wondered if it really felt good, but as the humming resumed, he decided it at least didn’t hurt. Growing a little bolder, and with Liese's urging, he pinched them lightly and rolled them around, earning a louder hum.
Full of curiousity, he widened his exploration, letting his hands trail down towards her abdomen. He wasn’t all that surprised to meet smoothness there, as well; had it been a human, he’d have expected hard, toned abs like the ones he’d begun to develop in training, since she was a fighter, but a monster’s body was obviously different.
The skin there rippled under his touch, too. He was surprised to note she had no navel, but mentally amended himself: she was a monster, and from what he’d understood, she hadn’t even been born the way everyone else was. The lack of a navel was hardly something to be surprised about.
As he felt around, he also corrected his first impression; while she was smooth and soft, there was an underlying hardness beneath the surface. He was not sure if it was just her or if it was common to all fit women, but it felt nice nonetheless.
At this point, he felt Liese’s hands on his shoulders again, and her face once again leaned near his ear.
“That will be enough for now,” she advised. “You should move on to other parts. First, take off her panties.”
Luka nervously nodded. That was a part he’d been looking forward to and dreading at the same time. He was curious, no doubt, wondering what a girl’s most private part looked and felt like, but... would a monster’s be special, somehow? Having never seen one before, he really had no way to tell.
With a slow breath, he decided to just go with the flow and see what happened. Reaching for Thermidor’s waist, he couldn’t help but notice that even though she was a strong woman, her choice of underwear was surprisingly... frilly.
He paused a moment, then reached for the knots on the side of the panties. Taking hold of the extremities, he pulled, undoing the laces.
As he peeled the fabric off, his eyes were drawn to the place between her legs.
At first, he wasn't sure what he was supposed to think. The area he’d finally uncovered was smooth, like the rest of her body. Unlike his own body, and his mother’s, there was no hair on it. He did remember his mother occasionally not having any hair down there when they bathed together, but the smoothness he saw here was different. It was obvious that there had never been hair on it in the first place. And in the middle of it all was... a slit, in the middle of a mound. It looked kind of like a peach, really.
“Oh, a puffy one?” Liese chimed in, somewhat amused. “I’d never have imagined it. Go on, Luka, try pulling the sides apart, gently. Think of it like a surprise gift!”
Luka was a bit creeped out by the sudden mirth in his mother’s tone - what was she finding so amusing? - but complied. Reaching in, he placed his thumbs on the fleshy mound’s sides as delicately as possible, and softly pulled them apart.
The flesh parted, and he held his breath as he admired a woman’s secret place for the first time.
It was... a little weird-looking, to be honest. Within the lip-like folds he’d just parted was another, smaller set, and a tiny nub-like protrusion could be seen peering from above. There appeared to be only one hole, as well. That was strange; his mother had mentioned there were supposed to be two.
“Um, this...” Luka began. Liese patted his shoulders reassuringly.
“Don’t worry, it’s all right,” she said. “It may not match exactly what I described to you, but it’s the right spot. Now then... feel around, but be careful. That’s a sensitive spot, especially the nub.”
Luka needed no prompt for that. He’d once accidentally hit himself in the groin with the pommel of his sword while practicing his downswings, and it hurt more than anything else had ever hurt before. If a woman’s parts were anywhere as sensitive as a boy’s, then it would probably feel even worse if he pawed around carelessly.
He began to gently massage the fleshy mound he’d parted, at first. It was pleasantly soft and supple, and it had a nice, enticing scent to it. The humming which had been coming and going since he started touching returned, but this time it was loud, and he suddenly realized that the rippling of the skin he’d felt went in tune with it.
As he felt around, he noticed that the inner part of Thermidor’s vagina seemed to have gotten... shinier. Curious, he reached for the inner lips with a finger, and as he touched them, he felt a wet, slightly slimy sensation and was rewarded with a sigh from the prone woman.
Now he was sure that as long as he minded his strength, feeling around that place would elicit a positive response from the monster woman, and he started to lightly trace the shape of her sex with both fingers, making sure not to let his nails scrape on it. He doubted being scratched in a place like that would be pleasant at all.
“You should pay some attention to that tiny nub over there, as well,” Liese chimed in as he touched Thermidor. “It’s called a clitoris. It’s a very sensitive spot for human women, and since she has one as well, it will likely feel good for her too.”
“Um... like this?” Luka murmured as he shifted one of his now-slick thumbs from the pink folds he’d been massaging to the small button.
The reaction he got startled him: Thermidor’s body jerked and she moaned loudly, a clearly pleased sound. Licking his lips, he decided that was a spot to pay attention to, and started gently rubbing it with his thumb, making sure not to exert too much force.
“Mmm...”
Another pleased moan escaped Thermidor’s lips, and Luka decided it felt good to get her to make these small sounds. It was somehow satisfying.
As he rubbed gently, Liese chimed in again, leaning near his ear.
“Normally, I would encourage you to continue, but right now, I believe we should move a bit faster,” she said. “Do you see that hole you’ve been avoiding so far? Go on, try sticking one of your fingers in. Slowly, though...”
“Is it really all right...?” Luka asked, dubious. The one hole he could see didn’t really look like it was meant for sticking fingers in, although his own admittedly were small enough to fit.
“Why don’t you try? Go on,” was the reply. Luka cast another dubious glance at Liese, then shrugged. So far, everything she said proved to be spot-on.
Moving slowly, he placed his index finger at the entrance to Thermidor’s hole. He’d noticed it became increasingly wet as his ministrations continued, and figured that was further proof he was doing things right.
Cautiously, he began to push his finger in - and was almost immediately pulled in by a ripple in her inner muscles. Startled, he stared wide-eyed at his digit, now fully encased in Thermidor’s body.
He quickly became aware of a strange sensation - an odd flowing feel that went from his hand to his finger, and appeared to then be sucked in the fencer’s body. He recalled what his mother had told him earlier - that Thermidor’s kind can absorb lifeforce directly from their partners - and realized this had to be the fabled “Energy Drain” he’d heard some monsters were capable of. Even so, it didn’t feel unpleasant, or all that threatening. In fact, the sensation was somewhat nice, as if a tranquil stream was going through his hand and into the woman.
As he focused on the odd sensations his finger was transmitting him, a frustrated sound came from Thermidor, and he looked up to see her semi-open eyes glare at him.
“She wants you to move,” Liese suggested. “Try pulling your finger back out, then pushing it back in. Really, were you paying attention to what I taught you?”
“Oh... Oh!” Luka realized. “She wanted me to do that. So that’s why she got annoyed? Okay, then...”
Following Liese’s instructions, Luka pulled his finger almost completely out of Thermidor’s body. He had to put some effort in it, as her inner walls began gripping his digit as soon as it started withdrawing, as if unwilling to let go, and actually made it difficult to withdraw. He then pushed back in, and noted that the warm folds relaxed and parted effortlessly, as if welcoming him back, although they still exerted a pleasant pressure on his finger.
He suddenly realized that’s where he was supposed to insert his penis, and worry abruptly overcame him. It was an intense enough feel with just his index finger. What would happen if he used such a sensitive part of his body to do... this?
“Don’t worry about details,” Liese said, as if reading his mind. “You’ve done good so far. But, I believe it’s time to get this over and done with. She is ready and eager, and needs the energy. That’s the most important thing for now. And you’re ready, too, aren’t you?”
He was. In fact, Luka found himself having to deal with a rather uncomfortable erection for the past few minutes. While before, he had been too busy exploring Thermidor’s body to mind, he was now becoming acutely aware of it, knowing it was what he would have to use next.
As he straightened, Liese glanced at his groin and couldn’t help but raise an eyebrow in appreciation.
“Oh, my,” she commented. “You aren’t bad at all for your age. I’m sure Thermidor will be pleased.”
Luka couldn’t help but blush violently at that. He wasn’t sure whether to be flattered that he’d be complimented on his endowment, or slightly disturbed the compliment had come from his mother. He then internally shrugged; there was no point getting embarrassed about this after all he’d done in the past few minutes, and he still had something important to do.
Sighing, he repositioned himself until he was between Thermidor’s legs. Looking down at her, he noticed her peer at him through her half-closed eyelids. He stopped briefly, licking his lips. Looking at her waiting hole and then at his erect member, he suddenly felt unsure: the opening didn’t look at all wide enough for even his penis. Was it really meant to take something that large?
“...Babies come out of a hole like that, you know,” Liese said, again reading his thoughts. “And she’s a monster, too. I suspect her body isn’t as fragile as you may think.”
“Okay,” Luka replied with a deep breath. "Here goes nothing..." Shifting a bit, he tried to align his penis with her vagina. He grew slightly flustered as it kept swaying, however. Casting a glance at Thermidor, he saw an odd look in her eyes, and stopped for a second, looking down. She had raised one of her hands and was making a gripping motion.
He suddenly figured out what she was suggesting. Holding his member firmly, he tried again, and managed to align himself properly. Looking up at her again, he noticed her give a small, approving smile, then close her eyes again as her hand dropped down.
Taking another deep breath, Luka finally leaned forward and pushed in, parting the soft folds of Thermidor’s sex in one firm thrust.
Almost immediately, he felt his manhood being gripped tightly and pulled in as the flesh around it shifted to accommodate the intruder, settling into a snug fit. At the same time, the humming sound he’d repeatedly heard Thermidor emit returned in full force, and this time, her inner folds began to shift in tune with it, beginning a gentle massaging motion with their ripples.
Luka’s breath caught in his throat as the overwhelming sensation struck him. At the same time, the flowing feel he’d been experiencing returned, even more pronounced. He found himself stopping abruptly, unable to move due to the intensity of the feelings washing over him. As he tried to make sense of the new sensations assaulting him, he began to feel a deeper urge rising. Unsure of what it was, he began to breathe in and out, attempting to focus and clear his mind of other thoughts.
However, Liese noticed that, and frowned. Approaching from the position she’d backed off to when Luka had finally taken the last step, she leaned in again next to his ear.
“Luka, honey, I know you’re trying to hold back, but right now, that’s the last thing Thermidor needs you to do. Don’t worry about what you feel, or what she feels... just let go and allow whatever happens to happen,” she murmured. “If you are feeling guilty about being the only one feeling good, think of this as you sharing your own life with someone you hold dear, and the pleasure it gives you is your reward for this good deed. Let yourself go and follow your instinct. That is how you will truly help her. Go with the flow; don't try to fight it."
Hearing that, Luka relaxed, and began to listen to what his body was telling him to do. Tentatively, he pulled back, and the same gripping sensation that he’d felt on his finger returned, attempting to keep his penis from leaving its place. If at all possible, the friction caused by it was even stronger now.
He withdrew until he was almost fully outside Thermidor’s pussy, and then drove back in, this time a little more forcefully. Again, he felt the flesh inside part and welcome him back with a snug grip, and the building sensation he’d been feeling grew even stronger. He realized what it was, and it didn’t take him long to understand he wouldn’t last much at all... but then again, it was what he was supposed to do from the start. He finally ceased to worry and instead focused on the activity at hand. Once again, he withdrew and then drove himself back in.
Predictably, between his inexperience and the strong stimulation provided by Thermidor’s hungry body, the boy couldn’t last more than a few thrusts. Within a few short seconds, he felt himself reach the breaking point and instinctively shoved himself as far inside her as he could, crying out in ecstasy as the first orgasm of his life washed over him.
----
Thermidor was still humming when she felt Luka tense up and reach his climax. The humming became loud enough to fill the room as she felt his seed splash inside her receptive body, and she couldn’t help but bask in the warmth of the sensation.
Then it hit.
The humming became a keening wail as the swordswoman’s eyes shot open, an enormous wave of life energy jolting through her. Thermidor could barely believe it - the amount of energy that was running through her body was something she’d never have expected even from a couple grown men, let alone a young boy like Luka. Even that one extremely regrettable time hadn't given her so much!
She instinctively raised her hands to grab onto Luka, and managed to just barely stop herself short from jabbing her sharp, gauntleted fingers straight into his unprotected back. Mustering up all of her remaining willpower, she balled up her hands into fists to keep herself from injuring the boy.
Then, she lost the ability to think and, tightly wrapping her legs around Luka’s waist while pressing her own body against his, she held on as the storm of energy raged within her.
----
Luka immediately felt something was different when the hum Thermidor had been emitting became a strangled cry. He nearly had the wind knocked out of him as, suddenly, her pussy violently clamped down on his still-sensitive dick and pulled him even deeper in than he’d been before, a powerful sucking movement developing within it.
Overwhelmed by the stimulation, the boy barely had time to cry out in surprise before he felt another orgasm coming on. Confusedly, he wondered if this was the true difference between monsters and humans. Was it always this intense?
Then he, too, stopped thinking and tightly hugged the swordswoman’s body as a second climax hit him. Crushed by the sensations inflicted on him, his world went white as he released even more of his seed and his lifeforce within her, and consciousness left him.
----
Liese was startled out of her observation by a sudden keening sound, and realized it came from Thermidor. Alarmed, she got up, unsure what to do; this wasn’t something she’d been expecting. As she tried to assess the situation, she stopped and stared, transfixed.
Thermidor’s body was glowing.
It wasn’t the dull glow she’d become accustomed to, but rather a radiance that was clearly out of this world. Starting from where she and Luka were connected, it spread in a flash through her body, at the same time as she burst into sudden movement and latched onto Luka like a drowning woman to a floating piece of wood.
The glow almost made her look... divine, maybe? Liese wasn’t sure what word she was looking for, but she was sure that, if someone had walked up to her and told her the swordswoman was a saint, she’d have believed those words on the spot based on the glow alone.
As she watched, she noticed both bodies go limp, and at the same time the glow began to subside, spreading more uniformly over Thermidor’s body. Deciding that had been enough, she set in motion, quickly reaching for Luka and gently pulling his senseless form out of the monster woman’s embrace. As she did so, a small unhappy noise escaped the equally unconscious Thermidor’s lips; apparently she’d felt the sudden loss of proximity, and was reflexively protesting against it.
Holding Luka closely, she checked his vital signs, just in case, and was relieved to find that they were completely fine; his heartbeat was accelerated, but strong and steady, and his body temperature was likewise slightly elevated but well within control. He’d apparently passed out from excessive stimulation, something she could understand perfectly given what had just transpired.
Gently setting Luka down at the base of the bed, she spent some time to pull the sheets over the swordswoman’s prone form, eliciting a content sound from her. She appeared to be somewhere between barely conscious and passed out, but did not seem to be aware just yet.
Picking Luka’s sweaty, exhausted form back up, she left the room, struggling for a moment as she quietly closed the door. Then, she headed for the bathroom. She figured she could at least clean Luka up before putting him to bed.
The trip to the bath was short and easy, all things considered. While he’d put muscle on, Luka was still smaller than other boys his age, and thus he was light enough that even Liese could carry him without much issue.
Once she reached it and opened the door, she set Luka down on the mat she typically used to prevent slipping when the floor was wet. With him being unconscious, using the bathtub was probably not a good idea.
Moving quickly and efficiently, with the familiarity of years of repetition during Luka's upbringing, she gathered a bucket of soaped-up water, a sponge and a dry towel. Setting the towel aside, she gently propped Luka up, dipped the sponge in the bucket, and began to clean him, removing the accumulated grime from the slime incident and the recent sexual encounter.
The slime, she decided, was easy to remove from his skin in its current dry state, largely because most of it had been washed away by the sweat of his intense activity beforehand. Luka's hair was positively caked with the stuff, though. She would leave it for last, instead concentrating on washing the rest of his body.
As she ran the sponge up and down Luka’s sleeping form, she was somewhat surprised to notice that her ministrations had caused him to partially harden again. While it wasn’t out of the ordinary for someone who’d recently had sex to be sensitive to touch, she would have thought him too worn out by the intense experience to muster that much strength up, even if it was wholly instinctive.
Pushing the thought aside, and the attendant curiosity with it, she set to also clean his boyhood, gently but efficiently wiping it with the sponge. Scrubbing the remaining fluids off it, she then doused it clean with a bit of the bucket’s water, and proceeded to use what remained in the bucket to wash the dirt off his hair and rinse any spots she may have missed.
Satisfied with her work, she picked up the towel and quickly dried him up. Drying his hair completely proved impossible in the current situation, but she managed as best as she could.
Having cleaned Luka up, she picked him up again, and headed for his room. Reaching it, she set Luka on his bed, quickly dressed him up for the night, and tucked him in. Pausing, she leaned in to give him a kiss on the forehead.
“Rest now... you deserve it,” she murmured, then turned around and quietly left the room, heading to the kitchen and checking on Thermidor along the way. She had considered washing her as well, but a quick examination revealed that all bodily fluids had disappeared off her - probably absorbed by her body, though Liese had no way of telling whether it was that or something else. Either way, she decided the fencer was best left alone.
She proceeded to the kitchen without further delay. For the first time in a long while, she really felt the need for a stiff drink.
----
Liese sat quietly in the kitchen, slowly sipping the contents of a small glass. She normally didn’t like strong alcoholic beverages, but at the moment, she felt like making an exception. It was probably her nerves talking, she knew that, but she still indulged the sudden urge to calm them with the liquid heat. Practical she may have been, but she was not unfeeling stone.
She sighed as she felt the alcohol's pleasant warmth spread across her chest, and became lost in thought. She had been highly agitated at the sudden events towards the end, and bathing Luka proved to be as much for her own sake as his. The comfort of a familiar action allowed her to relax. Luka had been past the age where she’d bathe him for a while now, but her mind and body hadn’t forgotten, and still drew comfort from the simple activity.
Looking up at the ceiling, dimly lit by a lamp on the table, she started thinking. She was sure both would be physically all right, but she would have to watch them closely for the time being, to make sure they would be fine mentally as well. And she was certain Thermidor was going to be very, very upset at her for a good while. Hopefully, she could make up to her for it, but she was prepared to accept the full consequences of her actions.
What she wondered about the most was how Luka’s worldview would change following today. Among other concerns, she felt afraid she might have spoiled him for human women forever; she hadn’t anticipated it being as intense an experience as it ultimately was. True, she didn’t mind Thermidor, and would be fine should Luka develop more romantic feelings towards her... but she’d still feel like she'd forced the decision on him.
Liese sighed and shook her head. There was no point worrying about all of this now. She would know soon enough how things were fated to turn out. All she could do was wait.
With that decided, she got up and headed back to Luka’s room. With Thermidor using her bed, she might as well sleep next to him for tonight.
She’d missed his warm presence beside her, anyway.
