When I finally stirred from my slumber, I noticed that I was back in my own bed. I quickly looked down at the side of my bed and saw that my sword and shield were back where I usually set them before I go to sleep. Was it all just a dream? I tried to get up, but my muscles suddenly felt sore, and fell back onto the bed. No it couldn’t have been a dream but why would Ghirahim do that to me? Images of the night’s events flashed through my mind. I blushed and quickly shook it out of my head.
“What’s wrong Link?” Zelda asked as she came out of nowhere. I freaked out and fell off the bed, startled by Zelda’s sudden appearance. Luckily, or maybe more disturbingly, I was back in my clothes as well. I rubbed my head as I stood up shakily. “Oh gosh, I didn’t mean to startle you,” Zelda said apologetically as she came to my side. “It’s alright I’m fine,” I muttered to her. I just pushed by her, grabbing my sword and shield, and went out into the woods. In reality I was not ok, I was so freaking confused by the events that had happened between Ghirahim and me. I couldn’t get them off my mind, and the worst thing was that somewhere deep down I liked it. That fact sent shivers down my spine. I decided right there that I would go and find Ghirahim, and demand an answer, a reason, for what he did to me. My determination led me on a wild goose chase through the entire Faron Woods, but I had no luck with finding him. I wasted all day looking for him but I ended up back where ‘it’ happened, at sunset. I sat down on a stump and ran my fingers threw my hair in frustration. “Why do you look so troubled Sky Child?” I heard Ghirahim ask from a tree across the way from me. I quickly looked up at him with a frustrated look. “Why do you think?!” I snapped at him. “Why did you do all those things to me?!” I was on the verge of tears from frustration and confusion. Ghirahim sighed and looked at the ground instead of me. “I didn’t know that you would be so displeased with these actions,” he said quietly. All of a sudden he appeared right before me, his eyes gazing into mine. “Do you really despise me that much?” he asked softly. “What you expected me to like you?!” I said disgustedly. The sorrow that now filled Ghirahim’s eyes jerked at my heart. He quickly looked away and walked away from me in a depressed manor. “I guess I was just stupid for thinking you would feel the same way…” he muttered barely audible. He turned toward me again and I could see tears coming from his eyes, then he disappeared with a flurry of diamonds. My heart felt somewhat torn from seeing Ghirahim’s tears and disappointment. He actually had feelings for me and what we did last night was his way of expressing those feelings, and I was to ignorant to notice! I berated myself and punched nearest tree out of anger. I started to pace as my mind was racing at a mile a minute. But why would that guy, my mortal enemy, like me in that way?! My thoughts questioned. I stopped pacing and shook my head. I may have not known why he felt that way for me, all I knew for sure was that Ghirahim cared for me whether I liked it or not. I stood there for a little while longer until I decided to just go home for now and get some rest and think about this a little more. Of course my mind was still racing from everything when I got back to the house. Zelda had made dinner and left it on the dining table for me. I was not hungry though, so I just went to bed to try to relax. Eventually I was able to fall asleep but it was a dreamless half sleep. Occasionally images of Ghirahim crying would appear before my sleeping eyes, and I could feel something tug at my heart when this happened. After a little while I gave up on trying to sleep. My heart and thoughts were swarming with all kinds of confusing thoughts and emotions. I went for a walk again to try to help clear my head and get my true feelings in order. When I made it to the clearing, I stared up at the large full moon. I took a deep breath and shut my eyes, taking in my surroundings and organizing my chaotic thoughts. When I opened my eyes and returned gaze to the Earth, Ghirahim appeared before me crying and bloodied up. “Sky Child…….” He gasped barely as he looked in my eyes and shakily put his hand on my shoulder. “What happened to you?!” I exclaimed at the sight of his horrible condition he was in. “Help me……” He barely choked those words out before he passed out and collapsed into me. I caught him as he collapsed and frantically check for signs that he was still alive. I sighed in relief when saw is chest still moving from him breathing. What the hell happened to you Ghirahim? I thought as I heaved him up into my arms and carried him back to the house. Zelda was waiting at the door when I finally made it back with Ghirahim in tow. At first she was shocked that I was carrying my enemy back to our house until she saw his injuries. “I’ll ask later, just get him inside now!” Zelda exclaimed after seeing the state he was in. I nodded and quickly got him inside and laid him down on our couch. By this time he was trembling and looking very frail, which made me worry even more. Zelda walked up behind me and put her hand on my shoulder. “I’ll take care of him you wait in the bedroom ok?” I just nod and take one last glance at Ghirahim before heading to mine and Zelda’s bedroom to wait for her to be done. While AFF and its agents attempt to remove all illegal works from the site as quickly and thoroughly as possible, there is always the possibility that some submissions may be overlooked or dismissed in error.
