Luka nodded, "Sounds good to me. Do you see her any time today?"

The bell rang. Gumi got up fast, set on meeting Rin at her locker. As Luka watched her walk away she couldn't help but feel the tiniest bit of jealousy. Gumi rarely took her out on dates, and when she did it was only because Luka asked her. Luka sighed, and went to her next class.

"Is 6:30 an okay time? As for what movie we'll see, we can just see what's on when we get to the movies."

Rin smiled, "That's perfect!"

Rin ripped a scrap of paper from one of her notebooks and wrote her number on it. She handed it to Gumi.

"Thank you," Gumi said, "I'll be there."

But Gumi just smiled and bought the tickets. Once in the movie Gumi was surprised to find that she actually kind of liked it. Though Rin definitely got more into it than Gumi. Rin cried during a few really sappy parts. When the lights had first gone out, Gumi had locked arms with the younger girl. They exited the movie theater and got into Gumi's car. Once inside Rin turned to her and said, "Thanks for taking me to the movies Gumi" a genuinely wide smile graced her lips.

Gumi smiled back at her, "no problem. Now, when we get to my house we get to watch a movie that I like."

The ride to Gumi's apartment was uneventful. Rin mostly talked about the movie. Gumi parked outside of her apartment and carried Rin's over night bag for her. Gumi unlocked her apartment door and turned on the light, reviling the living room to her plain apartment. the only things really in it were a green sofa, coffee table, with a lamp on it, and an entertainment center with a flat screen TV on it, as well as a DVD player, and a few different gaming systems.

Once they were both in the apartment Gumi closed the door and sat Rin's things beside the Sofa. Gumi turned toward Rin, "Welcome to my humble home". Gumi said with a smile.

Rin looked around, slightly confused, "Do you live here by yourself?"

Gumi nodded. "Now, I'm going to get one of my favorite movies, and make us some popcorn. You can make yourself at home on the sofa."

Gumi walked into a room connected to the living room and came out holding a scary movie. Rin gulped, she became frightened easily. Gumi popped the movie into the DVD player and while the beginning trailers were on made popcorn. Gumi appeared shortly afterwards holding a bowl filled with popcorn. She put the bowl on the coffee table and turned off the lights. Gumi plopped down beside Rin and turned on the movie.
