It started last Thursday. A letter came in, adressed to Dave, requesting to see me. I am a very special Pokémon. It kinda sucks to be special... Everyone wants to see me, to talk to me, to take a picture with me... I know I am an Eevee, I know there are very few Eevee in Unova, I know I am shiny... But I just want to be me... Why won't everyone calm down? Oh, I remember now... I can talk. I speak human. So what? I am raised by humans, without knowing any other pokémon untill i was three months old (which can be compared with six human years). I can also talk with other Pokémon, but "human" is my native language.
What was I thinking about... Right! Friday! The letter mentioned Team Plasma would come on Friday. They did. They tried to steal me and set me free, but I didn't want to come. Edith whispered in Dave's ear that he should make for the Jotho region. She handed him a lot of money (people paid to see me, so we weren't poor anymore) and told the Plasma Grunts to come come to the kitchen to discuss for how much she would sell me. Dave ran out the door as soon as they were away, and I followed. He asked around to find a ship departing to the Johto region, and we found a freighter. The captain would take us aboard if we paid him generously. We did and now we are at sea with no land to be seen.
Dave sighes. "Dave? Are you awake?" I ask in a low voice. "Yeah... I can't sleep. So much has happenend last Friday... I really miss our family..." "Me too" Silence. "Dave?" I ask again. "Yes?" he answers in a sleepy voice. "My head is growing foggy..." "You should drink some water" he says and as he rises and picks me up. He carries me to the bathroom, where he fills a sink. I drink the water, while he sits on a toilet. He's thinking, that's obvious. "You can't stay like that!" he suddenly says. "Like what?" I ask. "Listen..." he starts "What's going on?" I ask. He continues "You have to evolve before we enter Johto region. They will recognize you. You have to to evolve on this boat." "Yeah... I guess you're right..." I sigh. I don't really want to... I'm not familiar with evolution... "Can it wait untill tomorrow? I'm very tired..." I yawn. "Have you had enough water?" "Yes" "Okay, well, let's go to bed!" He picks me up, carries me to our room and tuck me in. He lays down next to me and I climb upon his chest. It's been a while since I last slept upon his chest. I alway did thad when I was little, but it feels comforting now. We both dooze off.
I wake up late. Dave is still asleep. I have had such a weird dream. I don't really remember it. All I can recall is something hard poking me... It was about the size of my whole front leg! The thing is, it didn't feel uncomfortable.I don't know what it was... It was completely new to me. All I knew was that I wanted more of it. I got up and jumped. There is a stain in Dave's underwear. It is kinda sticky and it has a strange smell. I wake him up and ask "What's that stuff?" "Nothing!" he replies. He's turning red as he pushes me of his crotch, and he quickly pulls the blanket over it. "What's wrong?" I climb up on the blanket and I look at him. He avoids my eyes. "Can I have some privacy for a sec?" "Sure, but why?" "Sam, please... I'm confused... Just go to the bathroom and stay there untill I call you back" "Okay..."
I walk to the bathroom with my tail low to the ground... In the bathroom I start playing with the litterbox that they put there for me. I don't use it, I normally use the toilet. Dave put a chair next to the toilet. A small one, that was made for very small children. Like little Tom... He's four now... I wonder how he's doing. He really liked me, and I liked him, even though he usually pulls my collar. And I miss Amanda... She's alsmost sixteen now... She used to take me anywhere, if Dave let her. Now she's always in her room chatting with Jake. Jake and Amanda have a long distance relationship. He lives in Johto, so we might meet him. I also miss Edith and Rob... They were like my own parents...
