Rock sighed as he tried to get used to Forte’s systems and his blaster. Considering the fact his father couldn’t find anything wrong, no sign as to why they had suddenly switched bodies, he knew he was going to have to use his lover’s body as if he had been built with it from the beginning. If Wily attacked now they’d be at a severe disadvantage, especially if he couldn’t learn the ebony ‘bot’s command lines. Let alone the fact that Wily probably would realize, sooner than later, that Forte was amongst the missing in which his lover’s life would be in even more danger from his creator than it already was.
“You’re doing ok,” Forte said, breaking Rock from his thoughts, “why don’t we take a break?”
“No,” Rock said, “I need to figure this out.”
“Not if you keep pushing yourself like this,” Forte said, “you’ll just end up tiring yourself out.”
Rock sighed as he sat heavily on the edge of his bed, jumping a bit when it squeaked in protest.
“You forgot,” Forte said, a soft chuckle in his voice, “I wear more armor than you do.”
Rock sighed again as he banished Forte’s armor and stretched. He had gotten used to hearing himself talk with a deeper, more rough sounding voice and Forte talking with a gentle and kind voice, strange as it all still seemed, even if he was not used to the fact he was now in a larger body with heavier armor and more power than he ever realized a ‘bot could have. He looked up when Forte moved over and he smiled when he leaned down to kiss him. When Forte sat beside of Rock, the former blue ‘bot smiled even wider, giving Forte a hug.
“You’ll get it eventually,” Forte said, “just trust yourself, ok?”
“I know,” Rock said softly, something that sounded strange from the ebony ‘bot’s vocal unit, “it’s just that … “
“You want to protect you family and you don’t think you can now with my body, right?” Forte asked.
Rock hesitated, chewing on a lip, wincing when he nearly pierced it with a fang, not used to having such sharp teeth. He nodded, not wanting to voice his fears.
“I’m still here for you,” Forte said, “and Blues as well. I don’t think he’s going to go wandering while you’re in my body.”
“I just hate feeling so weak,” Rock complained as he rested against Forte.
Forte chuckled. “Trust me, my body’s not weak, you’re just not used to it, that’s all.”
“What if I never get used to it?” Rock asked before he could stop himself. He looked down, tears starting to form.
“You will, love, don’t worry about it,” Forte said as he nuzzled Rock’s cheek.
Rock blinked at that. “You never call me ‘love’,” he said, “at least on your own.”
“I guess your personality is starting to wear off on me,” Forte said with a half shrug.
“If it does … what does that mean will happen to me?” Rock asked, not wanting to think of losing his soul to Forte’s madness. Not that he wouldn’t accept the sacrifice to help Forte live a life free of the sorrow and pain he felt deep in his core, emotions he knew came from Forte himself.
“Then you’ll become a madman, a cold and unfeeling being who wants nothing more than to prove your strength against the world,” Forte said, “except against one, lone being who has the power to keep your sanity intact and give you a fleeting hope of living a normal life.”
Rock hesitated at that, unable to hide a shocked look from his face. He knew that Forte had been hurting inside and that he wanted to prove he was stronger than anything else, but he never knew that the ebony ‘bot, the owner of the body he was now in, had used Rock as his lifeline to sanity and depended on it.
He reached up and softly caressed Forte’s cheek, finding it strange, still, to be looking down at his own face and knowing he was no longer in control of it.
“Just give your old man some time,” Forte said, “and see if he can find something in the tests he ran. I know he didn’t find anything right now but maybe he can. If not then I’ll sneak back in and get those plans and then he’ll know exactly how Wily built me and how he came about for my energy formula.”
“That’s too dangerous,” Rock said, “what if Wily catches you?”
“If he catches you in that body,” Forte said with a slight shudder, “just, no, it’s not something I want to think about.”
“Because he’ll torture you, I mean me, right?” Rock asked.
Forte nodded. “I was unlucky enough to get caught a few times sneaking out, or in, to the fortress and Wily … let’s just say it took time for my systems to straighten themselves out. That’s why you didn’t see me for a while every so often.”
Rock felt sadness creeping into his heart. “Wily tortured you because of us … “
“It was worth it,” Forte said, “I’d go through Hell and back just to be with you.”
“Forte …” Rock said, feeling a tear fall even as he shifted to give his lover a deep kiss. He felt Forte match the kiss and his lover’s arms trying to wrap around him. So different it was to be the larger ‘bot. So strange it felt to know he was kissing Forte even though the face that stared back at him was his own.
However, Forte didn’t respond as he kissed Rock back, though the Right ‘bot couldn’t miss the flicker of emotions in his lover’s eyes. He knew that Forte wasn’t lying when he said he would go to any lengths to be with him and it touched Rock deeply.
When Forte reached up to wipe away the tear, Rock nuzzled his hand. “I meant it,” Forte said, “no matter what anyone else might think, I do love you. Strange as it seems you’re the only thing that really matters to me.”
“I love you more,” Rock said, his crimson gaze on Forte’s face.
“Then show it to me,” Forte said, “show me how much you love me.”
“Um, should we?” Rock asked, “I mean, we’re not in our own bodies … “
“And that’ll stop us how?” Forte asked as he quirked a brow in amusement, “it just means that you get to lead this time. I mean, I’m never on the bottom and besides, your body is perfect for the taking.”
Rock couldn’t help but blush deeply at that. “I-I don’t know if I could.”
Forte caressed Rock’s cheek. “I know you can, love, so don’t worry about it.”
“You really are turning into me,” Rock said, “that’s the second time you called me ‘love’. I always have to get you to say it.”
“Well, the time is right, ok?” Forte said more than asked with a soft chuckle.
Rock just nodded, squeaking when Forte suddenly darted his hand down to give the Right ‘bot a quick grope.
“You do realize that I pleased myself every so often when I couldn’t get away from Wily,” Forte said, “so I know each and every sensitive spot I have. I could have you begging for mercy … but I won’t torture you that much.”
“Y-you did?” Rock asked, tilting his head to the side.
“Of course,” Forte said, “what? You never got off thinking about me?”
“Um, no,” Rock said.
Forte chuckled. “You’re such a prude at times, you know?”
“That’s bad, right?” Rock asked.
Forte laughed this time, the sound soft. “Coming from you, no, I’d almost expect it. I mean, I am the one with the dirty mind, and all. Corrupted you just fine I’d say.”
Rock felt his cheeks heating up at that, knowing he had to have been blushing furiously by then.
“Why don’t we cut the chatter and get down to business, hm?” Forte asked.
Rock squeaked again when Forte began to touch him softly, easily bringing out soft moans from the now larger ‘bot. You’re afraid this might be our last time together, aren’t you? Rock thought, even as his hips arched more toward Forte’s hand, you’re afraid that Wily will get one of us and it’ll be all over, right?
However, when he felt Forte lowering the zipper to his now too-tight pants, Rock let his worries fade, concentrating on the here and now and what his lover was doing to him.
Whenever Forte hit a sensitive spot, and the former ebony ‘bot hadn’t been lying when he said he knew all of his body’s sensitive parts, Rock would feel his body arch, a low moan escaping him. When he felt Forte’s lips on his he kissed back, almost hungrily, his body taking control of his actions. A low growl escaped his throat as he nipped sharply at Forte’s lip.
Forte pulled back from the kiss. “That’s something I’d do, not you,” he said.
“Can’t help it,” Rock moaned out, hips shifting and thrusting into what Forte’s hand was doing to him. He leaned in, putting one hand to the back of Forte’s head before kissing his lover hungrily again, moaning deeply, every so often growling. He shifted a hand down and began to roughly caress Forte, shivering at the sounds of his lover’s mewls against his lips. His emotions seemed to slam into a brick wall when he saw the emotion flickering in Forte’s gaze, sadness swirling with love.
It’s because I’m turning into you, isn’t it? Rock thought bitterly, I’m losing myself to your madness and it’s hurting you in ways you never thought possible …
"Rock, don’t stop," Forte breathed out, taking back control of the kiss, "please, don’t stop."
“Forte … you never beg,” Rock breathed out as Forte kept touching him, “I’m the one who always begs.”
“There’s always a first,” Forte murmured as he dragged his nails up Rock’s arousal even as he captured his lover in another deep kiss.
Rock nearly screamed into the kiss as his body tensed hard. Without thinking he shoved Forte back, nearly ripping his pants off as he roughly began to please his lover, biting and raking him with his fangs, growling softly every so often, knowing how Forte had touched him in the past, exploiting it to his advantage until he had Forte right where he wanted him. He didn’t stop, only long enough to reach over where he knew he had stored some oil to replace what he had when it ran out in case he met up with Forte for lovemaking. He coated himself then slid his slick fingers into Forte, stretching him even though he knew he didn’t need to be stretched that much where this wasn’t his first time with his lover.
“Rock,” Forte breathed out, eyes glazed over and dark with emotion, “I love you.”
“Love you too,” Rock said as he thrust his fingers sharply into Forte, only stopping to capture his lover in a fierce kiss, removing his fingers and thrusting in hard. He felt Forte arch under him and he didn’t stop, growling out his body’s frustrations and feelings, not used to controlling the raw needs that emanated from the ebony ‘bot’s body.
Something in Rock shifted as he heard the thin, almost pained mewls coming from Forte and he reached down to roughly stroke him, biting down on his lip before soothing it, trying to keep them as quiet as possible. This might not have been their first time together but it was the first time in his room and, even though Forte’s personality was starting to influence him, he at least retained enough of his own to be a bit embarrassed by it.
Forte nearly screamed, a tear falling as he found his release, body shaking hard beneath Rock.
Rock thrust a few more times into Forte before growling low and deadly, his own body shaking as he felt himself empty into Forte, leaving the fires burning on the edge of his awareness but not as strongly as before.
Forte continued to mewl softly, shifting a bit. “Rock … you lost control … “
“I-I know,” Rock panted out as he pulled out of Forte and laid beside of him, nuzzling his lover’s flushed cheek, “sorry.”
“I know what it’s like,” Forte said, “it’s my body, after all … but … you don’t know how to control my rough emotions.”
Rock looked away at that knowing what Forte said was true. He had felt a primal need deep inside and that overwhelmed his controls and allowed him to use Forte as he saw fit, despite what his lover had gone through.
“Rock, it’s ok,” Forte said, “I should have realized … please, don’t turn away from me. I still love you. I just need to teach you how to control those emotions so they don’t rule you but you rule them.”
Rock nodded, nuzzling Forte’s cheek again before giving it a soft kiss. We need those plans, he bitterly mused as he watched Forte drift to sleep, exhausted from their time together. He knew his body would have to go through a sleep cycle to heal and replenish energy. Whenever they were together and Forte did get a bit rough with him, Rock knew that he had to sleep it off no matter how much he wanted to resist it. Even though Forte had a stronger spirit than he did, apparently he didn’t have that level of control in Rock’s body. Either that or he was playing it safe.
Don’t worry, Rock thought as he tenderly caressed Forte’s cheek, waiting until he knew he was in a deep sleep cycle before rising, forming Forte’s armor around him, finding the motion to be more natural now. He looked down at Forte’s peaceful face before turning and walking off. “Gospel,” he said softly, “come.”
The violet wolf rose and shook before padding obediently over to Rock, nuzzling his hand.
“We’ve got a job to do,” Rock whispered, “you know Skull Fortress better than I do, so I need you to lead me to where he’d keep the plans for Forte and you. We need to get them and fast.”
Gospel nodded, growling silently, his gaze shifting to Forte for a brief second before turning back to Rock.
Rock laid a hand on Gospel and teleported them to a place outside of Wily’s grounds. He traced the way back to the grate they had used, finding Forte’s radar to be far more effective than his was. Maybe when this was all over and they were in their true bodies Doctor Right could upgrade him to this level of combat?
Once they were at the wall Rock looked up. He closed his eyes and sought out the command, the link to Gospel to form Gospel Boost. When he felt the wolf’s mind merge with his, no resistance this time, he didn’t question it. He fired Gospel’s jets and shot up, hovering while he shifted the grate back, cutting the jets only once he was in enough. He willed the merger to end, letting the wolf’s form glow, reforming a short distance away.
Rock shifted and pulled the grate closed before creeping along as silently as he could, radar always on alert. He knew he could trust Gospel to keep him safe. He could already feel the bond forming with the robotic wolf, the same bond he should have shared with Rush.
Pushing the thoughts from his mind, Rock continued along, crimson gaze scanning every inch of the tunnel he was in and when he was close enough to the end he formed his blaster on instinct. When the coast seemed clear Rock left the tunnels, banishing his blaster when he realized how silly it would look for Forte to be walking around Wily’s stronghold with his weapon active.
He followed Gospel, stopping to melt into the shadows only when one of Forte’s brothers passed by. No, he dimly corrected himself, they were his brothers now. Once two of them had passed by he moved again, eyes narrowing as the fires he had felt earlier started to rise again. “Bah, pathetic,” he mumbled before he could stop himself.
Shaking his head he continued until he passed a door that seemed familiar until he realized it was the door to Forte’s hole in Skull Fortress. He stopped and looked up at a large door not that far from his lover’s room, especially when Gospel sat before it, pointedly looking at Rock.
“So how to we get in?” Rock asked, voice a bare whisper.
Gospel moved over to a grate and nosed it before looking back at Rock.
Rock nodded and moved over, removing the grate. He watched Gospel move back and he knew what he had to do. “I’ve got to open it from the inside and let you in, right?”
Gospel shook his head, however, a sense of You’ve got to do this on your own, coming into his mind.
“Oh, I see,” Rock said, “which computer is it?”
You’ll know, came the reply he knew had to be from Gospel through their bond.
Rock could only hope Gospel was right before he replaced the grate and followed his radar, stopping at the next grate to peer down. Glad to see no one was there he shifted the grate and leapt down, letting Forte’s instincts lead him to the correct computer. He linked to it and began to download everything he could of Forte’s and Gospel’s systems. Everything from the energy Wily had created that had led to Forte’s ‘birth’, the materials he had used and even what Wily had done to change the Adaptor plans into Forte’s Gospel Boost. He knew those were the things he needed the most.
When the last file downloaded, Rock breathed a sigh of relief. He started back toward the vent grate when he heard the door click. Silently cursing Rock leapt for the vent, scrambling in and replacing the cover just as the door opened. He watched in silence, not moving, knowing his armor would give away his location.
He watched Wily enter and move over to a capsule he hadn’t realized was there, tucked away in a corner. He could see a partially built robot and he knew what that meant. More trouble for him. Though not as much trouble as his gaze shifted to the computer, realizing he had left it active.
“What is this?” Wily nearly roared before hitting a button, activating the alarms.
Rock winced knowing he was in trouble now, though a thought formed on the edge of his awareness and he took the opportunity to follow the vents, hoping that Gospel would realize where he was going and meet him there.
“Forte!” Wily’s voice shouted over his audio receivers, “where are you?”
Rock hesitated before firing, letting his shot rebound off of the vent’s walls. “I’ve got him in the vents,” he said, trying to sound like Forte, “Rockman’s trying to escape.”
“Don’t let him get away,” Wily shouted, “he might have stolen the plans to my latest project and that would be bad … for not only him but you as well if you fail.”
“I won’t fail, old man,” Rock shot back, firing again.
“You had better not,” Wily said before cutting the transmission.
Rock winced at the loud click as he scrambled along. He could sense the other robots heading for the vents and he knew he was running out of time to get out of there and back home.
He kicked his way out of a vent when the coast was clear and ran along, blaster at the ready. Now all he had to do was keep reminding himself not to attack the others but to work with them.
“Forte,” he heard a voice shout and he tried to quickly process who it was.
“What do you want?” he growled out as he turned.
Centaurman simply looked down at him. “Same as you, to catch Rockman,” the mechanical centaur said.
“Then why are you standing around here jabbering and not looking?” Rock asked with a low growl, one echoed by Gospel.
“Something’s not right with you,” Centaurman said as he tilted his head to the side, “there’s no anger in your eyes, no bloodlust, no hate. I sense … fear. Why are you afraid, Forte? Were you the one who stole your own plans? Are you going to finally defect to Right’s side?”
Rock growled, the sound low and deadly as he leveled his blaster at Centaurman. “I had Rock in sight until I lost him.”
“Rockman, you mean,” Centaurman said, “we never call him just Rock. That’s your first slip. But don’t worry. A few of us know that you’re not happy here and want to be with Rockman.”
“How can I trust you?” Rock asked, not liking how this was slowing him down.
“You actually have to ask that?” Centaurman asked before hesitating, “wait a minute … this strange behavior … you’re not Forte, are you?”
Rock took a step back. “How … “
“Who are you?” Centaurman asked, “you can’t be Rockman, he wouldn’t have the imagination to pull this stunt off.”
“Um … Forte and I … um … switched bodies,” Rock admitted.
“This is unusual,” Centaurman said, “and dangerous. Now I see why you were after your, I mean his, plans.”
“We need to get back into our own bodies,” Rock said, a hint of desperation in his voice.
“That you do,” Centaurman said, “come, we have a bit of work to do. And do not fear, there are a few of us who, though we are bound to Wily’s will, would break free as you, I mean Forte, have, if we had the chance. We are not so loyal, however, that we will not help our own brother … or his lover, in this case.”
“Thank you,” Rock said, breathing a soft sigh of relief.
“We need to move,” Centaurman said as he pawed at the ground, “I will help open a way for you to go back home.”
Rock nodded.
“Give me a few minutes and when you hear my signal I need you and Gospel to play your parts,” Centaurman said.
“What’s that?” Rock asked.
Centaurman smiled, something Rock never though he’d see another robots Wily had stolen and reprogrammed do. “You will know.”
Rock just nodded, confused and it showed on his face. He watched the mechanical centaur run off before turning to look at Gospel.
Gospel nuzzled Rock’s hand before nudging against him.
Rock nodded again before moving, trying to seem like he was searching for himself, growling softly or narrowing his eyes, trying to seem darker and more threatening than he felt right then.
“He’s outside,” he suddenly heard over his radio, Centaurman’s voice, “he’s using Rush Jet to try and get away.”
“I’m on it,” he heard another voice, deeper.
Running as fast as he could, Rock left the fortress, ignoring the other robots. “Gospel!” he shouted.
The wolf howled in response to Rock’s barely thought command.
Rock felt Gospel merge with him and he took to the skies, jetting as fast as he could after the signal he knew had to be the robot that was after who he thought was Rock.
Soon Rock was next to the robotic, humanoid-like demon-bird, Tenguman he recalled. “Where is he?” he asked, “you didn’t lose him, did you?”
“You can’t lose what isn’t there,” Tenguman said, “Centaurman warned me what had happened. I’m not your enemy, at least not now.”
Rock nodded. “Thanks for helping,” he said, “I wish there was a way to free you so you could come back with us.”
Tenguman shook his head. “That’s not my destiny right now, but it is Forte’s. He’s an independent robot whether he realizes it or not. Wily messed up when he created him. He lacks the same controls that we have. His spirit is so wild and untamed that even Wily has a hard time with him.”
“Maybe one day,” Rock said, voice going soft, feeling sad for what some of the robots were going through.
Tenguman said nothing as he banked hard, leaving Rock alone.
Rock turned and headed back toward Right’s lab as fast as he could, firing his blaster every so often so it would appear he was attacking something.
“Forte!” Wily roared, “what’s taking so long?”
“Shut up,” Rock growled as he darted down, firing again, “I can’t concentrate when you yap like that.”
“I’ve activated my global radar,” Wily said, “I don’t sense any other signals in your area but you so what are you firing at?”
Rock cursed under his breath.
“And why is your recall unit not responding?” Wily asked.
“Damaged,” Rock said.
“Get back here now,” Wily growled out.
“No,” Rock said before he could stop himself. He was so close to home now …
“What did you just say?” Wily asked, a hint of disbelief in his voice.
“Not until I make Rockman pay for what he’s done,” Rock growled out, hoping he sounded convincing.
“That can wait,” Wily said, “get back here now or else … “
Rock growled softly as he quickly dumped the data into a packet, flying close to the labs and letting it go. At least he could deliver the goods even if he himself couldn’t escape. He banked so close he knew that Gospel’s jets had to have rattled every window in the lab and he took off, teleporting just as he saw Blues come out, buster at the ready before looking down at the data packet Rock had dropped off.
I’m sorry, Forte, he whispered silently before he teleported back to Wily’s fortress knowing his fate was going to be sealed once Wily realized what had happened.
When Rock arrived he strode to where he instinctively knew Wily would be, throwing the door open violently.
“Get out of that armor so I can repair your recall unit,” Wily said without turning around.
“So what if it’s out of whack?” Rock asked, “I can still fight, you know.”
“And lose,” Wily said with a snort, “how do you think I get your sorry hide back when you lose to that blue pest? Besides, you’re too much of a wildcard for me to trust.”
Rock didn’t like the sound of that and he growled, barring his fangs.
“Threaten me like that again and I’ll dismantle you,” Wily simply said.
“I keep telling you, there’s nothing wrong with me,” Rock growled out when Wily turned and tried to touch him, shrinking back.
“Forte,” Wily said, a hint of anger in his voice, “if you don’t get out of your armor now I’ll pry it off, piece by piece. You know I’ll do it. You know what I’m going to do to you once I get my hands on you, don’t you?”
Rock took a step back before he could stop himself, a hint of fear flashing in his gaze.
“I knew you’d understand,” Wily said, snagging Rock’s arm and connecting a cord to it before he could react.
Rock blinked down at the cord before he felt his motor control release and he crashed to the ground. His systems were online still so he could hear and feel, and that was what made him worry. Unable to move all he could do was listen to Gospel’s fearful whines and hear as two larger robots moved over and lifted him onto the table. He felt Forte’s armor, and even his body suit, melting from him, leaving him naked in front of Wily.
“Now to fix your recall unit and then teach you not to disobey me again,” Wily said before he moved out of view.
Rock tried to close his eyes but found them unresponsive. He tried to shift his gaze so he could look away when Wily returned, a welder’s mask propped on his head but he found himself unable to do that as well.
“Time to open you up,” Wily said.
Rock screamed, his body wanting to both arch into the pain and shy away from it as well as he felt the knife cut into his synthetic flesh, peeling it back, exposing his systems. He felt Wily’s hands on him, moving wires and cords out of the way as he worked to repair what he thought was a damaged recall unit. Rock couldn’t stop the tears that fell at how much pain he felt knowing now why Forte was so afraid that Wily would get his hands on the Right ‘bot while he was still in Forte’s body.
“Hm, now that’s strange,” Wily said, “it’s not damaged at all … There wasn’t a battle, was there? You tried to defect!”
Rock wanted to shake his head no but all that escaped him was a whimper.
“You good-for-nothing pile of scrap!” Wily roared, “I built you by accident to be Rock’s superior and what do you do to repay all the work I put into you? You try to defect to his side!”
“No,” Rock whispered fearfully.
“Then why is your recall unit offline?” Wily asked, “and how did you learn to do it?”
Rock whimpered at that knowing he couldn’t tell Wily the truth and through the haze of pain he couldn’t think fast enough to form a convincing lie.
“I’ll find out soon enough,” Wily said.
Rock screamed again when Wily pressed hard on something, feeling command lines flickering as the recall unit was reactivated. When he felt Wily pressing something sharp against other parts of his body he couldn’t help but scream, his vocal unit feeling like it was going to shatter.
“That’s it, Forte, scream,” Wily said, a hint of something in his voice that froze Rock to the core, “know pain and why you should never, and I mean never disobey me again.”
Rock couldn’t answer, his vocal unit altering between screaming and whimpering, tears leaking down his face faster than he thought possible.
He barely registered that something had been connected to his core or that programs were accessing the data there. If he had, he might have panicked that Wily would learn the truth and that not only his life, but Forte’s as well, would be in danger.
“Well, isn’t this something?” Wily said, “now I see why you were trying to steal vital information … “
“Forte,” Rock choked out around his tears, body wanting to curl up in pain but unable to.
“I need to analyze this further,” Wily said, “that and extract all of your data, your memories. Now I can learn Right’s secrets and finish him off once and for all … and that traitor Forte as well.”
“I-it’s not his fault,” Rock whimpered out.
“I don’t expect either one of you to know how this happened or how to undo it,” Wily said, “but if Forte spills anything to Right … “
Rock said nothing, whimpering before screaming outright when he felt data flooding from his systems. He knew Wily would see that he and Forte were lovers, would see the last memories they had. Would see where Forte had thought seriously about defecting, would defect if it wouldn’t mean risking Right Labs. He cried harder around his pain knowing they were now both as good as dead.
“That good-for-nothing bastard,” Wily growled out, “how dare he fall in love with a Right ‘bot? How dare he fool me into thinking he was really fighting you … I’ll make sure his life is a living Hell when I’m done.”
Rock stayed silent, his screams dying away to hoarse cries as he felt Wily cutting his body all over, even down there. He felt rough hands on him and he knew what Wily was going to do. It might have been Forte’s body but it was Rock’s soul that felt the violation with various objects he didn’t want to know what they were. Wily was going to make him unfit to have a lover. He was going to defile his body so Forte wouldn’t want anything to do with it.
That was, if he survived this.
“I can’t believe he loved you,” Wily growled out, “I can’t believe my most prized possession could ever feel something like that for another … I never programmed him to love, only destroy. To be the best, not be weak from unneeded emotions. Robots can’t love … “
Rock bit his lip, feeling his fangs go through the fragile synthetic skin, but what was one more pain? Now he understood Forte’s own inner pain, as well as the numerous scars he had always seen on the ebony bot’s body when they spent some private time together. Wily had done this to his own son.
“Bah,” Wily said as he disconnected the machines from Rock, “it might not be so bad in the end.”
Rock screamed soundlessly when Wily triggered his armor recall, body suit pressing against all the new cuts and tears Wily had made in his flesh.
”Forte will come looking for you,” Wily said, “he won’t be on top of his game because he’ll be worried about you. Maybe I should leave you as bait, hm? Watch him come rushing to you, embrace you, then kill you both before you could even blink.”
Rock could only stare into Wily’s hateful face, trembling slightly in fear and pain. It was then that something snapped inside of him and he realized he could move, if sluggishly, again.
“Centaurman, Tenguman, get in here this instant,” Wily suddenly roared before looking down at Rock, “I know how to deal with traitors … “
Before Rock could react Wily triggered his teleport unit and he found himself back in the dark and dirty room he had first awoken in. He sobbed harshly as he curled into as tight a ball as he could, knowing Wily was now going to torture the other two robots for trying to help him to escape with the data.
When he felt Gospel nuzzle him, licking at his cheek, he weakly held the robotic wolf close. He could hear the plaintive whines from Gospel and he knew the wolf was hurting as much as his master was, no, Rock tried to counter, as much as Forte’s body was.
You’re my master now, Rock dimly heard through the pain.
“Gospel,” Rock whispered, the words barely audible, his vocal unit badly damaged from his screaming.
Gospel nuzzled Rock, licking his face as if trying to soothe away his tears.
When Rock heard the screams come from Wily’s lab he tried to bury his face against Gospel to shut out the sounds. They’re paying because of me … I’ve failed, Forte, I’m sorry. I wasn’t strong enough. Hopefully dad can use the specs I stole to help you … I love you so much …
Staying close to Gospel, Rock didn’t bother fighting the darkness that wanted to claim him knowing the next time he woke, if he did, it would be to more pain and, maybe, a sweet release into death.

The AFF system includes a rigorous and complex abuse control system in order to prevent improper use of the AFF service, and we hope that its deployment indicates a good-faith effort to eliminate any illegal material on the site in a fair and unbiased manner. This abuse control system is run in accordance with the strict guidelines specified above.
