The figure slowly opened his eyes. As he did so, his arms and legs lit up with blue flourescant arcane looking symbols. "Ugh... where am I?" he said in a dazed manner. Then he took notice of the other person in the small shed with him. "Who are you?!?!" He said, seeming very panicked. A roll of thunder crashed overhead, and he jumped several feet in the air, seeming to float a foot off the ground, held there by some invisble force.
"This better not be the Goddesses' idea of a joke!" he mumbled as he hovered in a circular pattern arounnd the by now drenched girl. "So... got anywhere I can stay? I seem to lack a home as of..." he trailed off for a moment. "Where am I anyway?" He asked the girl, not bothering to ask her name. By all indications, he didn't know where or who he was, and his attitude probably wasn't helping the situation.
He put his hands on his hips, and hovered in front of the girl. "Well? I'm waiting!"
The girl couldn't help but stare; this being looked odd, including the iridescent tattoos on its arms. Her hair was sticking to the top of her shoulders and flatly to her head on account of the rain, and her gown was soaked. But she hardly noticed that as she watched him jolt into the air, and, somehow, floated. She gawked with her mouth open and her eyes big. Judging from the size, he wasn't from around here. Plus, he just fell from the skies! That wasn't normal.
Ester was taken aback from his blunt questioning, but she answered anyways. "You're in Clocktown. And...." She put her finger to her chin, humming a bit. Would her father agree to take in this odd creature? After all, he had fought many a vile demon in his time, and perhaps this was one of them! But... if he was evil, wouldn't he have killed her by now? "Well, you can stay in my room for now. Since you can fly, you probably can get in through my window. Just... make sure my dad doesn't see you."
With that, she picked herself up and pointed to the window, facing the opposite direction of the front door. "I'll open it in just a bit" She added quickly, hurrying into the house as another crash of thunder made her jump.
"Hey dad, it was just some stupid Keese that got in the shed again." she lied, though it crossed her mind how she was going to explain the hole in the roof. Maybe it had a bomb.... Ugh he would never buy that! Hurrying past the two reminiscing about their past, she called back as she climbed the stairs "I'm not really hungry. I'm going to bed!" Once she got to her room, she shut and locked the door and opened the window as wide as it could go.
Link dismissed his daughter as she excused herself, and went straight back to talking with Kafei.
When Ester opened the window, a bunch of small dark purple circles entered the house and converged in the middle of her room, taking the shape of the small man -if he could even be called that- who had crashed in the family shed. "So..." he began as the last little bits of him materialized, "What's your name? or do I just need to shout 'hey, listen!' every time I want to say something?" Then he began floating around the room and looking at everything as if it was fascinating. then his stomach rumbled.
"I'm hungry. what you got to eat around here?" he asked. "Don't worry, I'll stay out of sight." he said, suddenly disappered into her shadow.
"what? did you think I couldn't hide myself?" he scoffed at her expression.

When she opened the window, she tried not to shriek as purple orbs entered her room. She didn't expect the being to come in like THAT! "What in Goddesses names?" she muttered, watching him materialize. "Well... I'm Ester. What's yours?" When he didn't answer her question and just blew it off, she nibbled the inside of her cheek. This guy was a bugger, that was for sure! However, in the blink of an eye, he was gone. She blinked in confusion, looking around, until her eyes caught sight of her shadow. "What.... in Termina ARE you?" she asked, clearly puzzled at his abilities. How many other beings did she know that could meld with her shadow?
Slowly, she moved a foot. Her shadow moved just fine, which she thought was good. At least it wasn't all wonky and stuff. Poking her head out her door, she listened to see if her dad was still chatting. Ester could still hear voices, so it was assumed that he was. Carefully, like a thief, she snuck down the steps and lingered just beside the entrance to the kitchen. Then, as quick as she could, she darted in, grabbed the bowl of soup from off the counter, and bolted back up the steps, nearly falling flat on her face in the middle of it. Kicking the door shut, she leaned against the door, panting heavily. "There.... now eat!"
