Gwen could not believe her eyes. A talking guar? Well, she was in a dream, but it was still odd to see a creature not of Cyrodiil standing in front of her. It looked at her placidly, as if expecting a reply.
“Um, I’m sorry, but who are you?” Gwen asked, trying to be polite. Laurian was looking with curiosity at the animal, never having been to Morrowind before. The dark elf thought that if this dreamscape belonged to the disembodied voice, it must know of all the things around her, including the guar, because how could they be in his mind if he did not know of them. Suddenly a thought struck her. This might be MY dream…if it is we may have hope and…opportunity. The dunmer’s libido was rising again, thinking of all the possibilities for fun in a world where anything could happen. She realized the guar was about to speak to her, and put aside her dreamscape fantasies for the moment. “I am Emory, and I am here because of your fondness for you homeland, and you’re fondness for guar. You think us…cute?” it tilted its head up at her curiously, and she blushed. So this was her dream, and this animal, Emory, knew her thoughts as well. But if he was a product of her dream, how could he help her? “I sense your distress, Gwen, but do not fear, for as I am a product of your memories, I hold some of your memories safe, and know of your past clearer than you can remember it.” “You think these things are ‘cute,’” Laurian asked, a grin lighting her face. “I didn’t know you thought of anything as ‘cute.’ I know what you find ‘sexy,’ but I didn’t think you, Master Thief, fancied anything as cute.” “Well,” Gwen replied, slightly flustered, “look at that big head, those tiny arms, all those teeth. And when can I not ‘fancy anything as cute’?” She didn’t think she had built up that type of image for herself, but apparently she was known better for her master thievery, fighting prowess, and her non-stop sex drive. “If we can get back to the problem at hand, ladies,” Emory cut in, “we have a mage to take care of and a world you need to get back to.” “A mage, hmm,” Gwen said. “The voice was familiar, and you’re my memory, so, who was it?” She wasn’t sure why the voice didn’t just say who it was, since it had obviously gone to some trouble to trap them there, and she thought it would love to tell the grandeur of its plan in full detail. “It is Roderic Velain, a warlock you defeated a few months ago, although you never found the body in his tower after he plummeted from that platform. Well, it seems like he did survive, and has trapped you within your own dreams. You remember helping Henantier? Well, this is similar, except somehow the effect is enhanced, since you and Laurian are both here, and you were not wearing an amulet at the time of your slumber,” the guar finished, pondering how they could have been sucked into the dream world. “I do remember Velain, though it’s a bit fuzzy,” Gwen replied. “But this can’t be. Henantier would never let his amulet get into the wrong hands, nor would that upstart mage have the strength to enhance an enchantment of this magnitude. Well, if he is behind this, and it is like that one…incident…then I just have to wake up, right?” “I don’t think it’s going to be that simple, Master,” Laurian said. “We were both in the front room, we’d both need to wake up, and who knows who else is getting sucked in? Also, how did he plant the amulet in the first place without it taking him inside, too?” Gwen didn’t know how to answer her fellow thief. “Well, it could be a delayed cast enchantment, but who knows if it’s even an amulet? It could be any of the items that came in the last day or so…oh. Oh no.” “What?” Laurian asked, fearing the look on her guildmaster’s face. “I know what it was. The amulet that Martin brought in, and I remember now, that Velain swore his revenge as he fell. I didn’t think much of it, as most bandits and necromancers say the same thing, but I should have searched for a body. He wore an amulet, however, that looked just like the one Martin stole from the shop the other day. I should have noticed the etching on the back, it’s very distinct. He couldn’t know of Henantier’s experiments, though, it’s impossible.” “So Martin is behind this? That little scrap of a fletcher?” Laurian asked in disbelief. “I’m not sure if it is Velain masquerading or if Martin is under some kind of control, but it has to be that pendant that he took,” Gwen said, shaking her head. She was usually so careful, especially with new recruits. She just couldn’t resist helping a fellow thief when the Imperials were after them. She was frustrated with herself, as well as with the growing need between her legs. “I can’t think straight right now,” Gwen said, mostly to herself. “Oh dear, you’re thinking about that subject again?” Emory asked, squinting up at her. “I just need to clear my head,” Gwen said, giving Laurin a roguish, knowing grin. “Maybe my little cat burglar can help me with that? Or maybe we can find some more fun with the denizens of this dream world. You know, anything is possible here,” she said, smiling at Armand and Mehrunes who were petting large deer that had come to graze near the flowers. “But Master Gwen, we need to find a way to escape…” Laurian began. “We will, but first I need to ‘clear my head’. Then we will formulate a plan,” she said, and Laurian sighed, then began to undress, a hint of a smile playing on her lips as Gwen began to undress as well. Emory sighed, then vanished. While AFF and its agents attempt to remove all illegal works from the site as quickly and thoroughly as possible, there is always the possibility that some submissions may be overlooked or dismissed in error.
