"Well I don't see anything dangerous." She stated while hopping down from where she clung to him and proceeding forward to try scouting the path ahead.
Meanwhile, Thane was glancing about and taking a deeper look at their immediate surroundings. *"Hmm..."* He thought to himself silently. *"The tunnel that we came through has a bit of a waterfall coming from it which has collected down into a small pool. The water I can already tell is fresh, and the air in this cave seems to be purified by the greenery that follows deeper down into the tunnel. There don't appear to be any tracks upon the ground, not even from animal life. And there is the opening in the ceiling for a quick exist by flight if need be."*
After using her electricity to shatter another stone and widen a space leading further underground, Kalypso returned to him. "I imagine Kano could benefit with the tunnels. But only if I can properly map it out for him." However, the two seemed to be of one mind as neither felt a need to have this space tunneled out for smoking, trashing, ruffians.
"I can decide what Kano can and cannot make use of." Thane declared while lifting himself straight up a bit. "He already has a base of operations, and I'm not entirely certain that we couldn't make use of this space for our own purposes..." However, quickly his gills seemed to choke before he turned back. "I mean, my own purposes." He corrected himself while circling the area without exploring the deeper tunnel yet.
Once circling back around to Kalypso after counting the circumference of the room with his own claws, he looked to her and said, "As a dragon, I have not yet taken a proper den for myself, even despite the luxury and lodgings provided to me by Kano." After taking a moment to glance down to the expression on her face he added, "What I take for myself is not a thievery from him. As one of his leaders, what I take for myself only adds to the power of those who work for him. Should I take this cave as my own, that only gives Kano a more substantiated member of the Black Dragon; it is not the same as pilfering his spoils from a conquest directly."
Thane's eyes did dart towards the plant enshrouded passageway, yet his mind was focused on something else entirely. *"A chance! That is what they called it in the movies. We are alone, and the scenery is not unappealing. This could be the opportunity to be 'a moment' if what I have seen is to be believed."* He told himself before turning to face Kalypso once more. "I can detect a healthy sense of adventure from you. That's good, that willingness and being unafraid to explore will help our organization greatly. Furthermore, you have impressed me during this outing. You can work together with another as a team. Your prowess underwater may be evaluable for aquatic missions as a specialist. And you definitely make strike squad potential with your lightening. I forsee you quickly achieving the same rank in the Black Dragon as that of myself or Kabal. At the moment, Tremor is at Kano's right hand in the clan."
It was at this point that Thane silenced himself. They were alone and he had only meant to compliment her or offer some positive reinforcement. However, spending this time talking about the organization isn't what he'd had in mind. "We are not expected back after any length of time. Kano has allied himself with my power, he does not control me. So we may take as much time away as we wish." Now gesturing with his hand he stated, "If finding our location becomes important then I can fly us up through the ceiling at any moment. And I admit that proceeding further to find what lies beneath would be enticing. Or, for at least the moment, we could stay... right here." He said while indicating toward a small recession in the floor where the ground looked softer nearby one of the walls. *"This is it. I am 'making my move' with her."* He told himself, trying to keep his lust under control. He wanted her consent, to feel her powerful mutual desire. For it would make the action meaningless to Thane if he simply broke down and raped her where she stood in this cave.
