Chance looked up at the large figure in the center of the room. "Hey, Odalwa! Long time no see! Listen, we need your help to- YIKES!" He shouted, jumping back as the huge figure of Odalwa tried to slice him in half. "Jeez! I knew he wouldn't cooperate, but trying to kill me?" Chance said as he got back up. he had pretty much forgotten that the idea behind a Boss fight was one of you would lose a fight and perhaps your life in the process.
Odalwa didn't waste time and started chanting. "Ah ha dai, ah ha dai!" This made a group of crab-like bugs about half Ester's height be summoned and rush towards the two. Chance immediately drew his sword And began attacking the bugs. mid way through his attack, he threw the newly aquired Stone Mask at Ester's feet.
"Put it on. I'll distract him." Chance yelled while still eradicating the bugs.
Ester arched a brow, not realizing Chance had somehow met Odalwa before. Suddenly, his massive sword came crashing down, making the girl shriek and cover her mouth with surprise. She wasn't expecting THAT! She drew her sword and shield at once, a look of disgust on her face as bug began to attack the two. When the mask was thrown to her, she picked it up quickly and put it on. Oddly enough, it didn't hurt as her body morphed with the mask's powers, turning her invisible. She didn't realize it at first, but looking down at where her legs had once been, as well as the bugs instantly swarming Chance instead of her, gave her the idea.
Hacking and slashing her way through the bugs, she headed towards the boss. At once she began to slice at the creatures legs, trying to weaken it.
Odalwa took absolutely no notice of Ester as she approached him. When she began slicing at his feet and knee areas, he jumped both in surprise and to initiate a counter attack. Since to him Chance was the only one in the room, he landed in front of the Twili and created a ring of fire around him to hold Chance in place, then attemted once more to slice Chance up where he stood.
Chance barely had time to dodge, and the massive form of Odalwa began to chant once more, this time burying Chance in a pile of rocks to the point where he couldn't break free.
Ester jumped just as Odolwa did, suddenly landing in front of Chance. "Look out!" she cried, her eyes wide as she ran towards the demon. A sudden avalanche of rocks from out of nowhere, burying Chance made Ester freeze, her heart skipping a beat. "Chance..." At once, she ran to the pile, jumping over the flames and began to throw the rocks behind her, desperate to get to Chance. "Chance! Are you ok?! CHANCE!"
Since the Stone Mask made her too boring to notice, Odalwa simply walked back to the center of the room, facing the door, all the while assuming he had won the fight. As soon as Ester uncovered the Twili from underneath the rubble he stood up, looking pissed. he couldn't see or hear Ester either though, so he ran behind Odalwa and initiated a Harbringer sweep with his sword, making the surprised Demon howl in pain as chance continued to slash his opponent mercilessly.
"NOBODY kills the Prince of Twilight, you huge jungle coward! Fight me like a man, and you might have a chance!" Chance shouted angrily, still leaving huge gashes in the figures back. The mask Ester now wore had the effect of being so unoticable that Chance forgot she had been there only moments ago, and he was now fighting with all the ferocity of the warrior he had once been, unaware that she could see everything, or was even there at all.
Ester gasped when Chance suddenly stood up, and walked right past her, not even seeming to notice her. Her eyes grew huge when he suddenly ran up and began to mercilessly hack at the demon. "Holy..." she muttered, gripping her sword again and calmly walking up to the two warriors. Suddenly, the demon let out a loud noise, and began to lean to one side, slowly falling down, right towards Ester. At once, Ester screamed, bolting out of the way as the giant came crashing to the ground. When she dove out of the way, somehow, the mask dislodged from her face and skittered a few feet away, turning her visible again.
Chance panted heavily as the Demon Odalwa fell, but when he heard a scream, he jumped and found Ester looking at him with a stunned expression as he suddenly remembered she had been there the whole time. A look of the same nature crept across his face and he looked down at his blood covered sword, then back at Ester.
"I-I'm sorry you had to see that." He said, wiping the blood from his sword and sheathing it. Unfortunately, the Demon wasn't finished. He grabbed Chance around the waist and began the slow process of crushing him to death.
"I think it's time we did something, don't you?" a voice said as the Fierce Deity Mask appeared in Ester's hands. "For the record, I could have done that whenever I wanted to." it said.
She blinked, slowly getting up, and staring at Chance. She was breathing hard, not too concerned about how he had been mauling that demon, mostly just surprised was all. Out of nowhere, the demon's massive hand suddenly took hold of Chance. Ester screamed in horror as she saw its hand muscles tighten, ready to crush the Twili to death. 'No....NO!' she thought, her heart gripped in fear.
Suddenly, she felt a hollow heat from her empty hand, and she looked down to see the Fierce Diety Mask. She stared at it, clearly torn between saving Chance and not unleashing whatever hell this mask in front of her had in store. "NO!" she cried, throwing it down to the floor and running up to the hand, driving her sword in between the thumb and index finger, and gave it a harsh twist. She could feel something pop on the other end of her sword, and she prayed it would be enough to get Chance free.
Unfortunately, the hand only tightened faster. Chance saw the Fierce Deity mask and with his fading breaths managed to turn into the small version of himself, grabbing the mask with his hair. "E-E-Ester. I-f you don't, I-I will." he said holding the Fierce Deity Mask near his face.
Odalwa suddenly stopped squeezing him, apparently recognizing the mask, and spoke in a Demonic language lost to the ages. The Fierce Deity answered in the same tongue, and the Demon Odalwa looked at the two heroes...
and laughed.
"I'm sorry, I wasn't aware you two weren't siding with that shadow Girl and Majora. Forgive my treatment... Of course I'll help." The Jungle warrior said in a gruff voice "Although... gotta say Collector, didn't expect to see your true form! Ah well, here, let me clear the poison for you! there are some treasures in the water if you can hold your breath."
He then began chanting something and a rumble was heard as the poison evaporated from the water. "The Twilight around the place should be completely gone now too. See you two later!" and the Demon jumped up and out of sight, leaving a peice of paper on the ground with music notes on it.

Ester was in a panic; it wasn't working! Tears began to flood her eyes, she was certain he might be hurt, or even killed if she didn't do something. But what could she do? Suddenly, Chance, in his other form, took hold of the mask. The Terminian was about to take it from him, to prevent whatever torture her father had suffered at the mask's hands, when Odolwa suddenly stopped. She felt the sword being easily drawn out of its skin and clatter to the ground as she listened to the odd language the two demons spoke.
She jumped forwards as Chance collapsed, she quickly grabbed him. Her heart was racing as she hugged him, "Oh Goddesses.... I thought I'd lost you..." she breathed. She arched a brow, seeing the piece of paper over Chance's shoulder.

Chance smiled as Ester caught him. "I'm fine, alright? Let's get back to the Deku Queen. She should still have a place we can recuperate." He looked at the Fierce Deity mask for a moment before speaking. "Why did you save us? I just don't understand... Why?"
The Mask was silent for a moment. When it finally answered, it held the most sincere tone it could use in it's voice. "I have a soft spot for romance, and if one of you died, well... I don't want to see either of you unhappy." then the tone of it's voice turned jovial. "Besides... I want to see what you try next time you two are naked."
Ester nodded, then looked over at the mask with a curious look. Hearing it say it liked romance made her arch a brow. At once she began to blush. It was such a pervert! How could a mask be a pervert?? It was a mask!! She rubbed the back of her head with embarrassment. "Alright, so let's get out of here. Oh! We could get those treasures the demon was talking about with the Zora mask. Though I wonder, with your rich background, you wouldn't really need it."
Chance scowled and put the mask away again. Walking over to the paper, he said "I guess this summons Odalwa, then?" As they made their way back through the temple, he had plenty of time to think about what the mask had said. True, it was disturbing that the mask could see them at all times, but was that any different than the Goddesses if he really was sincere about not wanting to see them unhappy? As they reached the last room in the temple, Chance was surprised to find Shadow Ester standing at the entrance
