Chance and the two Esters went back to the Deku Palace, where Chance went to the nearest candy vendor (Yes, Deku Scrubs have candy stores) And bought the biggest box of chocolate he could. Giving it to Ester, he smiled. "I did say I'd buy you chocolates." He said, and he laughed at her reaction to how big the box was.
"We should probably go back to Clock Town to let your father know how we're doing." Chance said as he watched Ester eat the sweets. Shadow Ester promptly stopped walking next to him and gulped. "Ummmm... do we really need to see Link? I'm pretty sure he'll skewer me."
Chance let out a chuckle as he recalled the previous night's events. "You and me both!" he said. "But that's pretty much unavoidable and should be dealt with sooner rather than later. Right Ester?"

Ester was quiet while they walked back to the town.. She really didn't have much to say about it, but she was glad Chance apologized. Though she HAD been a bit forceful about it...
In town, a few Deku Scrubs turned their heads, shocked at the two identical women walking around. But Ester ignored it and gasped when she saw the size of the box Chance bought for her. "It's the size of my head!" she nearly shouted, her eyes big. She instantly opened up the box and dug in. "Mmmm so good..." she purred, her hips swaying a little happily.
At the mention of her dad, she gave a nod, smirking at Shadow Ester's reaction. "Yeah, we probably should. Though... we should probably warn my dad before he kills you, and therefore, me. Well, let's head out!" After throwing the box away, she headed for Clock Town, which was hopefully back to normal now

As it turned out, only the section of Clock Town that was to the south, pointed towards the Deku Palace was void of Twilight. However as luck would have it, Link had figured this out, and saw them coming as he was standing directly in the town's gates. when he saw the fact that there were two Esters, he immediately drew his sword and began running toward them. when he got close enough to them, he stopped and while still looking at both of them, he said.
"Which one of you is my daughter, and which one of you gets slaughtered here and now?" he said calmly.
"Good to see you too, Hero." Shadow Ester blurted out, not realizing she had just given herself away. Link immediately attempted to kill her. Surprisingly, it was Chance who blocked his path, sword drawn and shield out.
"STOP!" He shouted as he stared the former Hero down. "If Shadow Dies, so does Ester!"
"Are you threatening my Daughter's life?" Link asked, confused and not understanding the *ahem* link between the heroine and her shadowy counterpart. Chance looked at the true Ester and said, "I think it's best we explain some things to daddy dearest."

Ester smiled, seeing that both her father and part of the town was free from the shackles of the Twilight. However, as soon as she saw the glint of his sword, she held up her hands in a cautionary gesture. "Dad, relax. She isn't here to kill any of us. She just wants to help." But he didn't seem to notice her words as he lifted his sword arm, ready to kill. Ester had nearly jumped in front of her shadow counterpart when Chance intervened. The real Ester let out a sigh at Shadow Ester's words, and pressed her thumb and forefinger against the bridge of her nose.
"Alright... Look Dad, apparently, as unbelievable as it sounds, she's here to help me. She was also there to help you during your journey, though you may have thought her way of making friends was trying to kill you" She gave the shadow being a sideways glance, then continued. "Yes, I thought she was here to kill me, among other things," at this, she spoke through her grit teeth, then continued in her normal way "but she assured me that her true purpose is to help the hero, that being me right now. I know you probably can't trust her right away, (can't say I can either) but you can try?"

Link looked at the Purple clad Ester clone for a long while. When he finally spoke, he sounded like he was trying his hardest to not be hostile, and was failing miserably. "You call creating a bomb big enough to wipe out Hyrule Castle HELPING??? And what about the time you-"
Shadow Ester cut him off at this point. "Restocked all the pots in Hyrule that had items in them so you could defeat Ganon and Vaati? Allowed you to chase me so you could find the dark mirror and destroy it before Vaati could take over? I think those are reasons enough to prove I was helping."
Link arched a brow, seeming to think this information over very carefully. "You can't expect me to just trust you right away. you have to earn it. Here's what we'll do. You will accompany Ester and Chance to the surrounding areas and help clear the Twilight. They will return to my house and give me a report on what you did. If I sense that you are trying to deceive and kill my daughter... I will slice your neck open. Are. We. Clear?"
Chance leaned over to the real Ester and whispered "Overprotective much?" while Shadow Ester gulped in slight fear. He then remembered something, and approached Link. "Hey... um... Link" he began. "I just wanted to say I'm really sorry for making you go through those three days constantly. I didn't think of how you felt about it, and I feel like an ass for doing that to you."
Link sighed. "Well better late than never I suppose. Apology accepted." he then patted Chance on the shoulder. Shadow Ester giggled mischievously. "You won't be saying that when you hear he popped Ester's cherry!" And then fell over laughing hysterically as all the color drained from Link's face. Rather than attack Chance however, he turned to his daughter. "Explain yourself. Now, young lady."

Ester stayed quiet, knowing the two had to make up by themselves. Though she still would get in the way if her father decided to end Shadow Ester right then and there. There were clearly a lot more things about her father that she didn't know, like what the dark mirror was, and who Vaati and Ganon were. More secrets, she assumed.
Ester nodded at Link's plan of action. How else were they going to find out if she was good or bad unless they were in a very stressful situation? That's how it normally worked to find out someone's true nature.
At Chance's muttered comment, Ester snickered. Then he did something she didn't expect. He was apologizing? She smiled softly, glad he wanted to make things right, when another voice told another secret that should have been kept in the *ahem* shadows. At once, Ester's face turned pale white, just like her father. She whipped around, giving Shadow Ester a mortified look before turning back to her furious father. The girl seemed to shrink down a little; her father was terrifying when he was mad! After a moment of stuttering, she finally sighed, slumping a little. "Look.... Dad, I-I love Chance. I know how you two fought in the past, but Chance wants to make it up to you. He cares enough about the both of us not to run away with me at the first chance he gets! So... yes, I wanted him to love me.... and YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE KNOWN THAT!!" She twirled on heel, wrapping her hands around Shadow Ester's throat, a look of fury on her face.

Shadow Ester kept laughing as her counterpart tried to strangle her. then just before her airway was cut off, she dispersed as if made of black mist and reformed behind Chance. grabbing his hand, she said, "What? I can determine everything you do just from how my emotions rage. That's why I wanted you to share. I'm an extension of you, remember? the hornier you are, the more I crave the same thing." She said.
Link noticed that Chance wasn't the least bit concerned about being "shared" as Shadow Ester called it. "Don't you have any SHAME?!?!?" he yelled at the Twili when he realized what Shadow Ester's idea of sharing was.
"I have plenty." Chance said shrugging his shoulders. "See... ummm.... the thing is... well..." he looked down at the ground while twiddling his fingers. "Harems aren't really frowned on in the twilight, so I don't have a problem with loving two of the same girl."
Link frowned, his mood worsening, though what he said was, "I'm sorry... could you repeat that out loud? In my good ear, if you please?"
Chance gulped and looked up, then suddenly as if moving at 8 bit speeds his arms flew behind him and his face showed extreme anger as well as panic. "Alright, FINE! Harems are common in my species! Happy now? I mean it's not like they look or sound any different! and besides, she said she'd help! Speaking of helping the hero MAYBE SHE SHOULD INSTEAD OF ME!!!" And with that, chance snapped and teleported somewhere unknown to any of them with his twilit magic, dispersing into tiny black particles. Shadow Ester stared, as did Link. After a few minutes, Shadow Ester broke the silence.
"Well... That was... unexpected...."
