Link began walking towards Lon Lon Ranch once more, and smiled to himself. The sun had reached it's highest point in the sky, and was slowly descending in it's arc. "Malon...I wonder how she'll react when she sees me?..." Link thought. Navi flew by Link's face. "Link, you've slept with Malon, haven't you?" She asked. Link nodded slightly. "A long time ago. She was one of the first girls I ever got intimate with. She was the second, as a matter of fact." Navi was silent for a few moments. "Were you nice to her?" Link nodded. "Of course, Navi. I've never been mean to any of the girls I've slept with." Navi smiled, invisible to Link. "I know. You told me before. I believe you, Link. I just felt like asking." Link smiled. Navi flew behind him as Link picked up his pace. He ran through the entrance to Lon Lon Ranch, walking up a small slant in the path. He went around a corner, and he saw two buildings up ahead. He knew that the one to the left was Malon and Talon's house, and the one to the right was a stable for horses and cows. He walked forward.
He saw Ingo nearby, who smiled at him. "Hey, Link! Come to buy some of Lon Lon Ranch's famous milk?" Link smiled. "Maybe, but first I'd like to see Malon. Is she here, or has she gone out to deliver milk?" Ingo smiled, pointing over his shoulder. "She's just over there, Link. It's good to see you again, by the way!" Link smiled. "You too, Ingo." Link had quickly forgiven Ingo for his previous attitude, back when Link first tried getting Epona after he had grown up. He walked past Ingo, out into the large field of Lon Lon Ranch. The huge pen for the horses was ahead, a track for racing made of dirt going around it. A few horses relaxed within the pen, Link quickly spotting Epona as one of them. It hadn't taken Malon long to spot him. She was standing by the entrance to the pen. She grinned with extreme joy. She hadn't been that happy in a long time. She had been feeling pretty sad ever since the last time she had seen him. She really missed him. Link waved, quickly heading over to her. Malon ran over to him as best as she could in her dress. She jumped into his arms, grinning happily. "Link!" She said. "I missed you so much!"
Link grinned, wrapping his arms around Malon. "I missed you, too!" He said happily. He felt rather full of joy to see her. Malon put so much weight on Link he stumbled, gasping and falling on his back. Malon gasped. Link thudded against the ground, holding Malon tightly, not wanting her to ram into the ground. Link smiled slightly, opening both his eyes fully. "How are you, Malon?..." He asked. Malon smiled a little more. "Pretty good...How are you?..." Link closed his eyes. "Better, now that I'm with you." He kept his eyes closed for a moment. He felt a pair of soft, warm lips press to his in a kiss. He felt a slight tingle go up along his shoulders and neck at the unexpected kiss.
He opened his eyes a bit. Malon had her eyes closed, and she was blushing. He slowly wrapped his arms around her lower back. "Sure." He said, smiling as he closed his eyes.
The two of them got up, starting to walk over to the gate where Ingo still stood. Malon reached over, holding Link's hand. Link smiled, holding her hand. They walked through the gate, Ingo seeing them hold hands. He whistled quietly, walking away to do personal business. Link opened the door to the house, letting Malon walk in first. Malon blushed lightly. Link smiled, walking in after her. Talon was sitting at a table near the door, holding a cucco. He was staring at it intently. Malon looked at him. "Father, what are you doing?..." She asked. Talon didn't look over. "Oh, you know, Malon. Nothing really exciting." Malon smiled. "Well...Link is here..." Talon looked over, grinning suddenly. He got up from the table. "Link!" He said. "Good to see you!" Link smiled. "Good to see you too, Talon." Malon smiled sweetly, closing her eyes. "We're hungry, dad...Can you make something?" Talon looked to the ground. "Sorry, Malon...I have to take care of this cucco right now...I can't do anything else for a little...And then I've got some other business after, so...I don't think I can."
Malon sighed quietly, tapping her left foot against the floor a few times. Talon's face showed that he didn't particularily like this reaction from Malon. He wasn't angry, and he wasn't really scared, but it was like he just didn't want her to be in that kind of mood. He smiled nervously at her. "You know how to make food, Malon. Why don't you make some for the two of you?" Malon shrugged lightly. "I guess I'll have to...Come on, Link." Malon walked past Talon, heading up a set of stairs nearby. Link smiled at Talon, quietly saying "It was nice to see you again." Talon smiled, saying the same back in a quiet tone. Link followed Malon's path, heading up the stairs and going through a door. Malon quickly turned around, smiling. Link looked around the room. There were two seperate beds, a window and some bookshelves to his right, by the wall, and a few other pieces of furniture to Link's left, on the other side of the room. Link saw an oven nearby, against the wall, under a small hole in the roof. "What do you want to eat?" She asked, still smiling. Link shrugged. "It really doesn't matter to me, Malon. I'm sure whatever you make will be great."
Malon smiled sweetly. She blushed lightly. "Well then...Why don't you go rest on my bed in the meantime?..." Link smiled at her, looking her in the eyes. Malon smiled, stepping closer to him and taking his hand. "Come on...Rest on it. I don't mind." Link let her guide him along, taking him to her bed. Link sat down on it. Malon smiled. "Lie down, I shouldn't take long." Link nodded slightly, saying "Alright, fine." He smiled. He lay back on her bed, placing his hands on his stomach. Malon leaned over him, pressing her lips to his gently. She blushed afterwards. "Just relax, Link. I'll make some eggs and bacon, okay? I know that's more like breakfast, but I'm kind of in the mood for it right now..." Link smiled. "That's pretty random...But alright, that sounds great...." Malon smiled. She walked away from the bed, stepping over to the oven, stepping over to a large cabinet nearby that Link hadn't noticed before. Link lay back in the bed, closing his eyes as Malon prepared some food.
Link wanted to get up and help her several times, feeling strange just lying in bed while Malon prepared the food. Whenever Malon saw him get up from the bed, however, she’d smile and say "Link, go back and rest, please. I can do this, put some faith in me." Link would nod slowly, and lie back in bed. After a few more minutes, he heard Malon happily say "Okay, Link! It's all ready!" He opened his eyes, sitting up on the bed. Malon placed a tray down in front of him as he crossed his legs. Malon sat on the other side of it, smiling a bit nervously at Link. Link smiled at her. He looked at the tray. There was a plate of scrambled eggs, a few pieces of bacon, a few sausages, and a few slices of apple. Malon was still smiling a bit nervously when she said "I started to get hungry as I was making it all, so I started making a bit more than I had first planned...I'm sure we can eat it all, though." Malon seemed to spot something on top of Link's head. Her eyes widened slightly, but only for a moment before she smiled happily. She giggled. "Fairy boy!" She said. Link frowned slightly. He looked up. He realized that Navi had slipped into his hat as he ran into the Ranch, resting in there as she often used to do. She was now lightly perched on top of his head. She didn't say anything.
Link smiled for a moment, glad to have Navi with him. But then he frowned. "You know I don't really like that name..." He said. Malon grinned. Link frowned a little more, trying to hide an appearing smile. "You keep calling me that, and I'll think up a nickname for you, too." Malon raised an eyebrow curiously, still grinning. "Really? Like what?" Link shrugged, and said "Horse girl." Malon's face showed indignation. "Horse girl?" She repeated. "That's awful!" She said. Link grinned. Malon narrowed her eyes. "Alright, I get it..." She smiled a bit. "I won't call you fairy boy anymore." Link nodded. Navi floated around Link's head slowly a few times, Malon smiling as she looked at her. "She seems nice...Can she talk?" Link nodded. "I think she's a bit shy, though..." Malon smiled. Navi flew around to Link's chest, quickly slipping into his tunic top through the front of his slightly-sagging neck hole.
Link gasped. Malon raised an eyebrow, a curious face crossing her. Navi rubbed up against Link's chest, not saying a thing. Malon smiled. "I hope you enjoy it..." She said. Link grinned. "i'm sure I will." The two of them said no more, digging in and feasting on the breakfast food Malon had made for supper.
After around fifteen minutes, the two of them had eaten all of Malon's food, feeling rather content. Link sighed, smiling as he lay back on the bed slightly. Malon grinned. "I take it you liked my food?" Link nodded, smiling. "I ate most of it, didn't I?" Malon blushed slightly, looking down to the tray. She picked it up and carried it away. "I'll be right back, Link..." She said softly. She opened the door to the room and stepped outside. Link rested back on the bed. He felt Navi move, crawling out of his tunic top. Link was silent for a moment, as well. "Maybe...I really don't know." Navi was quiet for a little while. The two of them didn't say anything for a few moments. "...It's fine with me if you do..." Link sighed quietly. "Navi...If it hurts you, then..." Navi smiled softly. She got down on Link's throat, lying on him gently. She hugged him as best she could. "It's fine..." She said. Link raised a hand to his throat, gently touching Navi's back with a fingertip. He closed his eyes. Link heard Malon coming back up the stairs, outside the door. Navi got up from him, flying over to a bedside table to the left of Malon's bed, resting down on it. Link didn't move from the bed, lowering his hand, keeping his eyes closed. Malon opened the door and stepped inside, closing it behind her. Link chose not to react. Malon looked at him silently. She slowly walked over to the bed, Link feeling her crawl on it.
