"I made my choice." said Zoey.
"What is it?" asked Angel.
"I'll become a hunter." Zoey moved the hair from her neck, waiting for Angel to latch on to it. "Why aren't you doing it?"
"I got to tell mom. She's going to want to do it out in the store." replied Angel. "I'll be back."
Zoey watched Angel leave through the door but she laughed as she heard Angel let out a happy squeal like noise before hearing her sprint away. Angel was sprinting down an aisle trying to figure out where the hell her mother or father was. Axel had Raven's hood down and was nuzzling her face making Raven smile and nuzzle back. Raven looked as she heard shouting and sighed.
"Your daughter is coming." said Axel kissing Raven's cheek.
"How come when she's being a pain she's my daughter?" asked Raven.
"She's the spitting image of you." smirked Axel.
"Mom! Mom!" shouted Angel running and when she lost her footing and slammed into the shelf her parents where perched on. "Ow."
"What is it Angelina?" asked Raven.
"She wants to become a hunter!" said Angel smiling.
Raven smiled back and looked at her husband. "Go make a make shift bed. Looks like Angel's turning someone into a hunter," Axel whistled sharply making his older daughter and her girlfriend look. He motioned with his head and they ran after him.
Angel ran back into the storage room and took Zoey's hand. "Can you walk or do you have to be on all fours?" asked Zoey. Angel stood up and pressed her hands against her back making small crack. Angel took Zoey's hand and lead her out of the storage room.
"Don't leave my side. There are some hunters here that would kill you." said Angel pulling her a bit closer. Angel lead her through aisles trying to avoid the more aggressive Hunters.
One of the younger ones got in front of Angel. "Oh what's this?" he asked seeing Zoey. "You brought me a gift? Oh yes I'll mate with you." Angel kicked him in his balls hard. He grunted and fell to his knees.
"She's becoming a hunter you dumbass." snarled Angel. "And why would I mate with you? Our kids will end up fucking stupid if I did." Angel picked up Zoey into her arms and growled at him as she walked by him. "Besides if I remember correctly, female hunters can somehow mate with each other too." He growled and stood up clutching his groin.
"Really?" asked Zoey staring at Angel.
"Yeah. Audrey and her girlfriend plan on mating sometime this year. Harley and her girlfriend are waiting a while." answered Angel.
"What about you?" asked Zoey.
"I don't have a girlfriend yet." said Angel cutting through an aisle to where her father and mother where. She jumped up onto what was an area where they had desks and chairs. It was cleared off aside from blankets piled together and the middle hollowed a bit out so Zoey could lay there. Angel sat her down.
"Now what?" asked Zoey as Angel pulled Zoey's hair out of it's pony tail.
"Cut your lips." said Raven to Angel. Angel bit down on her bottom lip to break it open and she used her claw for the top lip. "Bite her." Angel looked at Zoey and moved Zoey's hair from her neck before biting down onto her throat making Zoey gasp as the sharp teeth broke her skin. Angel got her blood to enter the wounds and she shoved Zoey down as she continued to do so. "Okay enough." Angel pulled her fangs out and stared at Zoey with her own blood and Zoey's blood on her mouth.
Angel ran her hand across her mouth, the blood smearing across the top of her hand. "Now what?" asked Angel as Zoey laid there looking pale.
"Now we wait." said Raven. Angel took a blanket and covered Zoey up.
The following few hours where hell for Zoey. She felt cold but her body felt like it was on fire on the inside. She kept hearing Angel growling and snarling but she was too weak to see what was going on. She had seen Angel rolling around on the ground with someone that wasn't Jason. Angel kicked him aside and let out a roar as she stared at him.
She moved back to Zoey and sat by her. "W-What are you doing?" asked Zoey staring up at her.
"The aggressive ones see that your weak and are trying to get to you. Well the three younger ones are, and I'm trying my damn best to keep them away." growled Angel. The one from before was on a shelf staring at Angel. "And Logan better fuck off before I kill him!"
The hunter Angel addressed as Logan growled and leaped off the shelf. "He seems to like you." said Zoey before groaning as pain went through her body.
"I don't like him" said Angel rubbing Zoey's head. "He keeps trying to get on my dad's good side so my dad will want us to mate. My dad doesn't even like him." Zoey laughed softly and coughed.
"H-How long do I have to wait?" asked Zoey.
"24 hours. It's only been three." said Angel. Zoey gripped at the blankets as tears left her eyes. "This is gonna be a long 21 hours."
As the hours went by, Audrey's girlfriend, who went by Sis, cam to help Angel with the aggressive hunters so Angel could stay by Zoey's side. Sis was keeping watch from the top of a shelf. Angel leaned down and kissed Zoey's temple who was trying to sleep. Zoey smiled softly as she felt Angel's lips touch her and she looked at Angel. Angel smiled back and saw Zoey sweating.
"Sis! Watch her!" said Angel hopping down and running. Sis climbed down and sat by Zoey's side.
"You're her s-sister?" asked Zoey.
"Not really. I'm her sister's girlfriend but I named myself Sis cause my parents left me for dead when I was two months old. My girlfriend's parents found me and took me in." said Sis.
"Oh." said Zoey. Angel came running back with a thin box. Angel put it up before hoisting herself up. She ripped it open with her claws and pulled the fan out. She leaned it against the wall and plugged it in. She did what her father said and turned the dial on the top to three. Zoey smiled as the cool air hit her. "Take my jacket off?"
Angel lifted Zoey up and Sis put her hands against Zoey's back so she wouldn't fall back down. Angel unzipped the jacket and Sis pulled it off as Angel held her around the waist. All Zoey wore under it was a plan white shirt that was stained here and there from Zombie blood. Angel laid her back down carefully. Zoey shifted so her face was aimed at the fan.
"How much longer?" asked Angel to Sis.
"It's only been another 12 hours from the last three." said Sis.
"Eight hours left." said Angel to Zoey. Zoey groaned as she realized she had another eight hours to endure.
Zoey finally fell asleep with in half an hour and stayed asleep until she felt shaking. She opened her eyes and saw Angel staring down at her. "W-What?" asked Zoey. Angel grabbed Zoey's hand and held it up. Zoey saw her skin was a grey blue color and Angel was smiling.
"You survived." said Angel kissing Zoey's forehead. "But you'll still be weak for a couple more hours. My sister Audrey said she'd stay with you while dad and I go hunting."
"Okay." said Zoey. Audrey had normal red hair coming out of her hood but Zoey could see that the two of them where sisters. Both having the same facial structure and body shapes.
"Don't let Logan near her." growled Angel to her sister who nodded. Angel ran off to go find her father.
"Why does Logan want to kill me?" asked Zoey laying on her back.
"He thinks Angel wants to mate with you." said Audrey sitting on her butt as she stared at Zoey.
"What?" asked Zoey.
"Logan's wanted to mate with Angel since she turned into the girl you see now but Angel keeps refusing him and often kicking him in the balls. Angel likes girls and wants to mate with girls since for some reason it is possible for female hunters to do so." said Audrey.
"Who's gonna carry the babies if you and Sis mate?" asked Zoey.
"Me. Hunters don't look pregnant when we are. We only carry the pups for three months and give birth." said Audrey.
"How do females mate?" asked Zoey.
"If I'm not mistaken, if two female hunters have sex on a full moon it makes one of them pregnant." answered Audrey. "So Sis found an empty apartment about a block away and on a full moon we're going there." Zoey blushed at the thought making Audrey laugh.
About an hour passed before a fish was dropped down beside Zoey making her jump and look. Angel was staring down at her smiling. Zoey grabbed it, she felt so hungry. She bit into the fish with her new fangs and tore at it growling a bit. Angel smiled wider and jumped down beside her. Zoey looked at Angel who kissed her cheek.
"Thanks." said Zoey.
"No problem. I figured you'd be hungry by now. I wanted to see if you where fully changed and you are." said Angel. Zoey held out the fish to Angel who blinked and took a bit from it. "You don't got to share. I brought it for you."
"I know." smiled Zoey. She leaned against Angel who flashed her fangs in a bit smile and she kissed Zoey's head.
