This imprisonment could only last for a short amount of time; Elenwen would not have it spilling over into their possible plans for the Nord. It suited Ondolemar well enough as it encouraged him to take full advantage of their time together rather than become bored and forget as was his usual pattern.
His visits were frequent and cruel, but focused less upon physical torture and more upon mental degradation. “My obligations to Elenwen do not permit me to cripple you, but with such limitations my creativity has blossomed.” The Altmer would so callously chide. He took to reading novels written by Thalmor soldiers which recounted the events that took place during the Great War. As he strolled back and forth before the Nord’s cell, or sat nearby in a chair, he would loudly proclaim the details of the treaty that was set in place by the Aldmeri dominion; condemning Talos worship and the people of Skyrim. He also read more recent accounts and files sent to him by his superiors which explained how these people should be dealt with. When stirring the Nord into a silent, brooding rage this way wore off, he took to demonstrating these ‘reformation’ techniques upon any follower of Talos he could drag in. A good branding with a hot iron cast in the shape of the dominion’s symbol upon these heretics was usually enough to stir deep, visible unrest in the man. Ondolemar did not stop there either. He boasted of the cleansing and the fine lines of the treaty. That it was merely a brief delay in the Thalmor’s eventual and complete mandatory extinction of Skyrim's ‘disease’ that was the current inhabitants. “The Altmer are the higher beings.” He’d hiss most devotedly. “The rest are cattle to be lead to the slaughter-“ At a simple glance, Ulfric seemed to betray no more emotion than he had upon his first days here. Ondolemar had learned to see through his defenses and truly relish the internal writhing revealed in his subtle facial twitches and posture. He knew just what buttons to press and with patience, he found the Nord’s fury became much less contained. “CEASE-“ The man once screamed during one such session. It was so sudden and unexpected that the Altmer stopped dead still and stared on wide-eyed as if unsure the sound had come from the Nord. “Why, there is your voice-“ The elf chided as if he spoke to a child. After a pause, it became apparent that was all the Nord would say. He was coiled like a snake though; a vein throbbed in his temple and his nostrils flared in a truly blistering level of fury. “I can take absolutely no more of your presence! Not a moment more! If I am to suffer one more weasley word from your impudent, malformed face I shall bust a vein open of my own accord and embrace death with sweet relief that my eyes shall weep no longer upon looking at you, nor my ears bleed no more from hearing that painful, high screech! You are truly a disgusting sight to be forced to behold. It is no wonder your race seeks to wipe out all else, for looking into a reflective surface must be painful when you are surrounded by constant reminders that you are unnaturally hideous.” The sudden outburst was so completely unlike anything Ondolemar was used to hearing from Ulfric; the Nord had barely uttered a word since he arrived so this display was more than enough to make the Altmer incapable of interrupting until the man was finished. Then……he was at a complete loss at what to say. Out of everything the man could have possibly chosen to scream about, it was his appearance that came up!? It was so positively preposterous that he had no reply ready. “………………………………………….Guards…….” The high elf made a little motion and retrieved the men from their posts. Ulfric was looking on like a caged lion that had been poked far too many times with sticks. His blazing rage would surely seer the flesh of Ondolemar’s face should he look in that direction any longer. “Our friend has overstayed his welcome………..drag him into the woods and release him back into the wild from whence he crawled.” The guards were looking at their superior as if he had gone mad. “Do as I say!” He responded furiously. Immediately, the Nord’s posture changed. He was gasping lightly as if the outburst had drained all of his final reserves. Or perhaps it was shock and paranoia brought about from the elf’s command. He did not fight back as the men warily came in and unchained him before binding him so that he may be safely transferred. It was quick enough that he almost did not have time to address Ondolemar as he was pulled by the Altmer. Almost. “Do not ever walk alone upon the soil of Skyrim, elf.” He snarled with a facial expression full of revulsion. The Altmer merely crossed his arms and raised his prominent brows. What a ridiculous notion. He thought to himself as Ulfric left his sight for good. He would never walk anywhere without his guards anyway. While AFF and its agents attempt to remove all illegal works from the site as quickly and thoroughly as possible, there is always the possibility that some submissions may be overlooked or dismissed in error.
