(Valkyrie Profile 2 OST Vol. 2 Silmeria Side: Confidence in the Slumber or (Stable Float) A myriad of shimmering particles began to materialize into an open field. In a matter of seconds the figure of a cloaked man appeared. He wore a fine vestment of midnight blue adorned satin sheen gold embroidery and seams. The design was elegant yet bold. The man gave off an air of divinity as the space that shimmered and pulsated around him faded away. Lezard Valeth carefully surveyed all that lay before him. His amethyst soaked eyes marveled at the beauty and serenity that now surrounded him. A luscious panorama of verdant fields, meadows, and architecture flawlessly melded into each other. Expansive valleys and hills of lush green grass covered the land to the East. Scattered about the valleys were high fluted pillars of white soapstone. Scenes depicting themes of triumph, charity, faith were masterfully engraved into them. Tendrils of green or golden vines wrapped around the tall columns. Lezard's gaze soon fell upon steps of tumbled flagstone which lead to angelic temples made of alabaster and marble. Their exteriors harbored metopes of goddess, nymphs, and divine mythical creatures delicately inlaid with fine gold. Each sanctuary’s design and construction was different. Towering sculptures of battle maidens and warriors lined both sides to the entrance of one temple. Others had monuments of gods and goddess’ in a circular pattern. There were even a few lone statues were positioned upon high hills. Lezard could only surmise they were placed there in honor of some brave soul. The firmament above this majestic abode was a palette of ethereal blues: opaque celeste, powder, sky, and true blue; mixed with wisps of stratus and altocumulus clouds. All of which culminated around a glorious cirrostratus nebulous; An immense halo of golden light surrounding the sun. For a moment Lezard lost himself to its beauty. A soft breeze began to pick up, causing Lezard’s plush russet hair to gently sway to and fro. He combed a single gloved hand through it. An unfamiliar scent wafted through the air. It was delicate and fresh yet he couldn’t quite make it out. “Hmm, this must be it,” he spoke “The first layer.” Lezard had managed to cross the threshold and enter the depths of Lenneth's soul. A smile of utter confidence formed on his smooth yet masculine lips. With the power he usurped from Odin, Lezard now had the ability to be in two places simultaneously. It was a matter of ease. He steadied his thoughts. In his mind’s eye he became fully aware of his physical body. He was in a trance performing the incantation for soul transfusion. But this alone wouldn’t be enough achieve his ultimate desire. Returning full attention to his astral form Lezard began to dematerialize. TBC ~*~ The title is in Norwegian: Hallowed Sphere: First Layer I might have to rework the title Sorry this is taking so long, but there's so much work to be done in IRL :'(.
