==LAP 3==
The race was about to begin. Minutes after Seppuku was introduced, all of the racers were lined up at the starting line. The crowd was out of control throwing things, screaming, even some fights were emerging in the crowd. The only racer not present was the notorious Black Shadow, which was of no surprise. Black Shadow already had Blood Falcon doing so for him.
“At this time all racers may start their engines!” the announcer yelled loudly.
All of the F-Zero machines had turned on, they began to slowly lift a few feet into the air. Three floating monitors came above the starting line. This was it.
Three, Two, One, Go.
All of the F-Zero machines instantly darted past the starting line officially kicking off the Grand Prix. Monitors turned on near the stands so that the fans could see where the racers were at throughout the race. The Red Gazelle took off with the lead, but had the Crazy Bear quickly coming up from behind. Captain Falcon appeared to be in seventh, Seppuku was around fifteenth.
Chiya was observing Captain Falcon carefully as she was taking lessons from him. The way Captain Falcon maneuvered the track was very professional, he used tactics and strategy in his turns, somehow keeping an eye on his rivals at the same time. Lieutenant Seppuku flew up close to the other racers, knocking himself back up to the top ten. Seppuku appeared to be rivaling against Captain Falcon, as he bumped into his vehicle roughly but not in a lethal way. The Blue Falcon sped up to escape the Red Dove. The Red Dove appeared to have worse stats than the Blue Falcon. Seppuku was immediately gaining on Captain Falcon despite his inferior machine parts. Seppuku had another machine coming from his rear. Seppuku was almost neck-and-neck with Captain Falcon, when suddenly the Blood Hawk sped up next to the two, ramming both racers violently. Captain Falcon quickly drifted back into the correct direction, Seppuku had taken a few seconds to face the correct direction again.
“I hate Blood Falcon,” Chiya muttered aloud angrily.
Seppuku was caught way in the back again, several racers passed him. However, Seppuku did not take long to make his way up the track again. At this time they completed their first lap and their boosters were now unlocked. All F-Zero machines were equipped with boosters that could launch the machine forward by releasing an incredible amount of power from the rear. The drawback of using boosters was that it drained the machine’s energy quickly, making the vehicle more vulnerable to shutting down. A machine would shut down if the energy was completely depleted. Seppuku took up the opportunity and used much energy to boost up the track, keeping watch on his overall energy. Blood Falcon and Captain Falcon met each other again, this time both were well aware of each other’s presence. Captain Falcon quickly dashed to the side and attempted to ram Blood Falcon but failed. Blood Falcon took up the opportunity and tried to counter-attack but Captain Falcon performed a spin that blocked Blood Falcon’s attack. This knocked Blood Falcon two racers in back of Captain Falcon.
The Big Fang bashed the Red Gazelle on the side but was quickly passed by the Crazy Bear. The Blue Falcon flew past the Big Fang as well. The Red Dove was gaining on Captain Falcon again but was confronted by the brute like gang leader, Michael Chain. Both racers challenged each other and begun hostilely attacking each other. Seppuku and Chain simultaneously clashed with each other. Countless sparks flew amid the air. Chain backed away from the Red Dove and began tailing the machine, planning to ram Seppuku from behind. Seppuku quickly made the decision to do a spin attack, quickly coming to a stop. Chain ran into his trap and took heavy damage, smashing the Wild Boar onto its side. Once again, Seppuku fell behind the other racers but quickly moved up the track.
“The Wild Boar is eliminated from this race! What do you think about pilot Chain’s attempt to take Seppuku out?” the announcer asked his partner over the intercom.
“Well you see, Chain made a bad move on his part. The Wild Boar and Red Dove both have similar bodily features, making it seem like both would have similar weak points. But what racers often forget when challenging another racer, is that they need to multitask and stay focused on the race!”
“Well obviously Michael Chain will have gotten a terrible start to the Grand Prix, automatically being granted no points.”
All racers made it past their second lap and entered the final lap. Captain Falcon was gaining on the Fire Stingray, which was holding first place. The Fire Stingray was piloted by Samurai Goroh, a longtime rival of Captain Falcon. Captain Falcon found himself getting boxed in by his enemies, the Blood Hawk had made it to third place and as always, focused on trying to kill Captain Falcon. Goroh and Blood Falcon appeared to be working together to smash the Blue Falcon, when suddenly the White Cat and Red Dove came up and engaged the other racers. Seppuku smashed into Goroh and was pushing him slowly to the side of the track. Seppuku scraped Goroh against the safety railing then boosted away from him. Blood Falcon counter-attacked the White Cat successfully and stayed on the Blue Falcon. The Blue Falcon and Red Dove were driving next to each other. Captain Falcon nodded to Seppuku likely in appreciation for assisting him, but Seppuku disregarded the gesture.
The Blood Hawk had caught up once again, but this time he changed targets. He was directing himself towards the Red Dove instead, seeing him as a potential threat. Seppuku saw Blood Falcon moving to his side but was accidentally boxed in by Captain Falcon, who was closely to his left not allowing any room to drift to the side. Seppuku smashed his hand down on his vehicle’s dashboard in anger and slowed down, allowing Blood Falcon and Captain Falcon to go at each other again. Seppuku immediately picked up the speed but was already passed by the White Cat and Deep Claw. Blood Falcon and Captain Falcon were struggling to defeat each other, both dashing into each other constantly. Blood Falcon didn’t hesitate to start smashing into him like some deranged brute. Blood Falcon pinned the Blue Falcon to the side of the track and was preparing for a massive side attack. As soon as the Blood Hawk moved towards the Blue Falcon, Captain Falcon boosted out of the way. Blood Falcon ended up side attacking right into the safety of the track.
Seppuku managed to pass the Deep Claw but could not gain enough speed to pass the White Cat. He was too late, the finish line was up ahead and Captain Falcon victoriously passed the line taking first, Blood Falcon following him in second.
The crowd suddenly started to go out of control, “That’s it for the first race! Captain Falcon taking First! Blood Falcon second, Jody Summer third, Lieutenant Seppuku fourth, and Octoman taking fifth.”
Captain Falcon waved to his cheering fans. Blood Falcon grinned with his razor sharp teeth at his victorious rival. Captain Falcon looked back at him and returned an expressionless look. Blood Falcon couldn’t physically attack Captain Falcon inside of a racetrack—the rules of F-Zero prohibited violence outside of the race. The Galactic Space Federation wasn’t allowed jurisdiction in racetracks. F-Zero had its own set of laws, and the F-Zero committee enforced these rules. Captain Falcon drove away from the track with the others following him.
Chiya was stunned at how dangerous the race had gotten. Clearly the F-Zero committee didn’t care that attempted murder was on the track several times, F-Zero was truly a sport where anything could happen. The question on her mind now was where Seppuku planned on going now.
@Chiya was walking out of the stands with a sent back expression. The race was short, but amazing. Chiya came to a complete stop and gasped, her eyes began to quiver as she stared at the door. Captain Falcon stood still looking straight into her eyes. She gazed at him in astonishment, baffled by his appearance and look of interest in her. He approached her and grinned.
“C- C- Captain Falcon!?” she squealed with a quivering smile.
Captain Falcon grabbed the side of her face and knelt down before her, “My sweet Chiya Flower. I’ve longed for the day I could meet you face-to-face, and now my dream has been fulfilled...”
Chiya gasped at him while trembling and blushing greatly. She was speechless at what was going on, what was happening to her.
“Come with me, so we can live a happy life away from racing, in a meadow of flowers.” he said as he kissed her hand.
Chiya began to grunt and squirm excitedly, as she had a massive crush on Captain Falcon.

Suddenly Chiya launched herself up onto her rear. She began to hyperventilate with widened eyes and scanned the area. She was back in the warehouse lying on her mattress. Unfortunately, she had only dreamed that Captain Falcon approached her that race. She sighed sadly as she looked at all of the garbage that surrounded her. She had watched her first F-Zero race in person last night then went home immediately after. None of it seemed real, but it was, she was there and the stories were true. F-Zero would get very dangerous.
Chiya put her stock hat on and looked in the mirror, sadly looking at her own face she sighed, “I can’t keep living like this…”
Chiya walked out of the bathroom with a feeling of depression. She fell back onto her bed. While gazing up at the ceiling, a thought had crossed her mind. She momentarily grabbed the handgun Seppuku lent her and examined it. She was looking closely at the model and ammunition of the weapon—and then it hit her.
“Hold on a second. This is too powerful to be meant for civilian use.”
She hesitantly put the clip back in the handgun and looked at some scrap wood in the building. Still lying down on her bed, she flipped over and took aim at some of the wood. She turned off the safety and cocked the gun with her tongue stuck out. Her aim was very wobbly, she closed one eye.
CRACK.
She fired the weapon and severely damaging the wood. The bullet had left an unusually large hole, nearly breaking the wood in half.
“What the Hell? This must be for military use,” she concluded aloud, she was now trembling after firing the loud weapon.
This time she fired blankly at the wall and observed the damage done to it. The bullet left massive damage with cracks surrounding the hole.
“Where did he get this?”
She widened her eyes and grunted as she remembered the weapon Seppuku had used. Seppuku hadn’t rescued her with a handgun, rather he did so with a massive rifle. One would never be able to purchase such a powerful rifle off of any ordinary store. She knew that the gun she had was illegal.
“What is he doing with this stuff?” she questioned aloud.
She put the gun back on the table and walked outside. As usual, she was going to start her day off by bringing herself to Rough Odds.
While walking she noticed that the streets were littered with paper as if everyone just let loose the past night, not caring about keeping a city clean. She walked inside of the bar, somewhat hoping she would find Earl Bendek, the man who gave her the ticket to see the race. She had no luck scanning for him, but her eyes did catch something else just as eye alluring. It was Lieutenant Seppuku. He was playing a card game with fellow F-Zero racer; Baba. She grunted loudly with quivering eyes. She could finally talk with him since her frightening first encounter.
Chiya gasped and swallowed nervously. What was at first a choice had just become mandatory, she was feeling forced to speak with him as their eyes met. Seppuku’s eyes were white because of the special visor he was wearing. The white eyes appeared to be fake but could still change shapes depending on how Seppuku adjusted his actual eyes. Seppuku‘s intimidating gaze was pulling her in towards him. She had no choice as she began walking towards him. She was going to enter the table with Seppuku.
