Vampire's Kiss
This story was made for fun and definitely NOT for making profit or money out of it. Trust me, ya boi Mina only sees writing as a hobby and their passion. More important, I do NOT own King of Fighters.

After a moment, Orochi chuckles and gives a mocking look. “What a pathetic and disgusting low-life creature you are. I told you - you are helpless in my world!”
Now, the demon unleashes an aggressive slashing strike with his long nails at the vampire, but his nails only cut through the air. He immediately becomes alert to Kyo’s presence behind him and gets pushed lying on his stomach.
When Kyo stomps on Orochi’s back and keeps him under his foot, he grips his tail and taunts him. “Where are you aiming at?”
Now, he pulls the demon’s tail and makes his opponent grimace in pain while keeping his serious look. “Where is your big talk now, you pitiful demon? How about I teach a lesson by cutting your wings?”
While his hand holds the incubus’ tail, Kyo squats down and grabs the humerus of the wing. A moment later, that follows by a cracking noise and Orochi’s scream. Thus, the thorn wing is thrown on the ground.
In the meantime, the unfortunate creature even closes his eyes and bites into his hand while folding and keeping his other wing close to him. Surely, an evil vampire is not joking around and may take his life away in his created world.
When the white-haired vampire grabs his other wing’s humerus and leans closer to him, he adds. “What’s wrong? Already admitting your defeat? Just let me return to my world and I might spare you.”
However, Orochi uses his chance, and upon widely spreading his remaining wing, he tosses this arrogant fool away.
After hitting the ground with a short grunt, Kyo shakily sits and notices that his chest is heavily scratched without a health spot. When he lifts his crimson eyes, he spots the culprit behind the crime - Orochi’s bat wing is covered in countless sharp needle spikes and dripping blood from it.
When the silver-haired demon shakes off the red liquid by flapping his wing, he approaches the healed vampire, who sits on his knees.
Kyo only indignantly stares and hisses at his opponent. “You shitty demon. You can’t go without using your dirty tricks, can you?”
On the other hand, one more step from his opponent is enough, and this unsuspecting fool will pay. Kyo ponders. After making a victorious look and raising his arm to his chest level that points at his opponent, he snaps his fingers and releases a gigantic wave of orange flame at the demon.
There is no way anyone is fast enough to avoid the pillar wave of fire. When the vampire closes his eyes, he listens to how his flame devours his opponent with satisfaction. Finally, it’s over.
After Kyo stands up and opens his crimson eyes, he sees no trace of the incubus. More so, he is still in this illusion world.
He immediately becomes alert because the incubus might be alive somewhere.
Speaking of which, the voice of the silver-haired demon echoes around him. “Do not rush your doom, vampire.”
A moment later, he hears a noise of flapping leather wings from above, from the right, everywhere, with no idea where this fiend hides.
After a while, Orochi appears in front of him with a new pair of black wings and announces in a calm tone. “You have defeated a mere illusion. How many times have I said that you cannot defeat me?”
However, Kyo doesn’t give up on this demon’s crushing intimidation and mockingly replies. “If that is so? Then I have to roast you as many times as I need until you’re dead.”
Orochi remains silent and levitates in the same spot.
“Very well, demon. It only makes things easier for me~” The vampire says before launching a fireball at the silver-haired demon’s face.
Just the moment before the impact, Orochi reflects the flame by using a power shield and sends the bright orange fireball to his owner.
Unfortunately, Kyo’s reaction is too slow, and he falls to the ground with a soft moan.
However, Orochi shows no mercy and lifts his body by telekinesis until their eyes meet.
While Kyo groans in pain after tasting his flame, he refuses to give up to the demon, who asks him in a serious tone. “Stop fooling around. You don’t know when to quit, do you?”
When Orochi closes his eyes, he slowly opens them and declares his judgment. “You left me no choice, vampire.”
While he devilishly smiles and pushes his hand inside Kyo’s chest, the brunette responds by groaning. “Do think that will kill me, idiot? I can still heal and kick your ass.”
Yet the silver-haired demon delightfully observes the vampire’s suffering and proudly replies. “Of course, not. But this, it would serve as the lesson for you.”
While his hand is exploring inside the vampire’s chest, he adds. “Such a fool cannot be killed so easily. Oh...”
Finally, his hand stops somewhere around his heart. “I’ve found it~ Don’t worry, I won’t remove that huge and disgusting red muscle.”
Before withdrawing his hand, Orochi silently casts a spell that makes his hand unmaterialized until it becomes barely visible. Soon, he slowly removes it from the brunette’s chest.
Meanwhile, the vampire’s eyes are wide open, and his eye color slowly dims before slowly shutting them. Even his fangs disappear, and his skin and hair color return to the former one. The brunette looks like returning to his human form to die. No, he is too exhausted even for that.
When Orochi places his other arm to support the brunette’s back, he removes his hand from his chest. Thus, in the same spot where the demon has inserted his hand, there is a visible scar.
Lastly, he lowers Kyo to the ground and bends closely to him. For now, the silver-haired demon gently slaps his cheek. “Hey, you can’t just die yet. Look.”
After the vampire opens his amber eyes, he notices Orochi has clenched one hand into a fist, as if holding something inside.
When Orochi unclenches his fist, he reveals a small, lively orange flame dancing on his palm and explains. “Do you know what is this? No. It’s not your soul. Creatures like you do not deserve one. It’s your life force!~”
After exhaling, he continues with a reassuring smile. “But don’t worry. Losing such a small part of it won’t kill you, but you can never use your powers or that ugly vampire form ever again.”
Kyo frowns and demands in a weak, tired tone. “Return it to me... You sick bastard… Return, or else-”
Orochi only chuckles and backfires. “Why do you need it, if you can’t use it properly, you stupid vampire?”
When he rubs his chin, he adds. “Hmm... But what should I do with it? I can’t consume it. It’s still raw and I don’t want your pity power. But I can’t return it to you either.”
In the end, the silver-haired demon sadistically smiles and keeps his palm straight, making sure that Kyo will see it. “Look~”
Suddenly, the innocently dancing little flame on his palm is crushed.
The vampire immediately widens his eyes, and his face slowly twists in pain. He still desperately attempts to reach Orochi’s palm, which has his powers, even if he understands his effort is in vain.
However, before returning the brunette to the human world, the incubus whispers into Kyo’s ear. “Fufufu~ Now you are as powerful as a mere human~”
These words leave him in shock and feeling useless.
Soon, both return to the same church where they left before the fight, and it seems Shingo can sleep like this until the morning.
As for the vampire, he remains stunned and in denial. Only Orochi’s impersonal voice helps him return to his senses. “I suggest you leave while this boy is still sleeping. Or do you prefer to be killed? Get out and never show here ever again, vampire. There won’t be any second chance.”
As the brunette stands up, he quickly adjusts his clothing, slams the door, and curses under his breath without looking back.
Hell, how could he have been defeated by the incubus? He isn’t sure, but doesn’t care anymore. Either way, he needs to restore energy and plan what to do further. Or so Kyo convinces himself, while accepting his utter defeat.
Meanwhile, in the same church. Shingo rests his head on Orochi’s knees.
Surely, the silver-haired male cannot let him sleep on the floor like that. After all, what if he catches a cold?
But for now, he strokes his partner’s hair and thinks that it is a relief that the vampire didn’t hurt him.
Eventually, Shingo shakes his head during the sleep and wakes up. Now, he lifts his head upon hearing a gentle and caring voice. “Oh, you’re awake? Should I get you into your bed?”
The brunette asks him in a sleepy tone. “Orochi-sama… What happened? Where is that vampire?”
When he gives a concerned look, he adds. “Please, don’t tell me you have killed anyone again…”
However, Orochi comforts him while stroking his partner’s hair and cheek. “Shingo, it’s okay. I just asked this vampire to leave before he harms anyone else. But he refused to listen to me. So, I had to explain to him again until he left on his own.”
It seems the young priest believes his words and sighs. “Fine. If this is true, then it’s alright. You can follow me if you want, but promise me you won’t try anything funny.”
Orochi only chuckles at such an answer and innocently explains. “Shingo, did I ever done anything wrong with you? I’m just making sure that no one disturbs your sleep. That’s all~”
In the end, the brunette knows it’s useless to argue with him, and he prompts Orochi to follow him.
