Chance woke up to find Shadow Ester was in the kitchen of their current abode, and it looked like she was cooking something. As usual, he found Ester's arms around his waist, and had to free himself from her to get out of bed. Walking over to Shadow Ester, he sniffed the fish that were cooking. "That actually smells really... good! I didn't know you could cook!"
Shadow Ester frowned a bit. "What do you think I had to do when I was alone all those seven years just waiting on Link to get unfrozen from that 7 year time stasis? I taught myself a lot more than cooking. ever heard of the seven hidden skills of old?" she asked Chance. Chance nodded his head as he remembered something about them Link had said once. "I've heard of them, but what do you have to do with those skills?"
Ester turned to him, and spoke with sincerity. "I happen to be the one who invented them." she said calmy, never taking her eyes off him.
Chance snorted, then broke out in laughter loud enough to wake up the sleeping Ester. "You... you have got to be joking!" he cackled.
"Nope. Dead serious I'm afraid. Now get up off the floor and eat your fish." Shadow Ester deadpanned. noticing that Ester was now awake from Chance laughing so loudly, she turned to her. "Like I said, I can teach you some major sword moves, and Godessess know you could use them. Anyways, breakfast is ready, and I washed our clothes. here are yours." Shadow Ester said, handing Ester a bug gut free dress, and walking back to the table to eat her own portion of breakfast.

Ester was thankfully too tired to take much insult to Shadow Ester's reply. All she did was snuggled up close to Chance as she had last time, and dozed off.
As she slept in, she could hear her two companions talking, but she didn't react much. Letting out a little sleepy noise, she rolled over, now hugging the pillow. Just as she was about to fall asleep a burst of laughter made her sit up with a start. "I'm awake!" she yelped, looking around with wide eyes. After a second of looking at the two, she rubbed her face, getting her messy hair out of her eyes. "Uhhh.... what now? Wait... my battle techniques aren't THAT bad!" She raised her fist in defiance, getting out of bed and putting on her clothes. She soon downed her fish, humming a little. "Mmm, this is good"

Shadow Ester smiled, glad to be appreciated instead of hated for once. "I never said your battling skills were bad. I just told your dad I would help, and so I've decided to be your sparring partner." Shadow Ester paused as if in thought. "Besides, it would be the same as if I helped you by impersonating an enemy, so I guess I'm doing us both a favor." Then she cleared their plates and went over to their belongings. Picking up the two training swords, she also got out the Hylian and Terminan Shields. "Huh... guess he never told you that bit of information either!" Shadow Ester mumbled, then she smirked as a bad -or good depending on how you looked at it- idea popped into her head.
"Tell you what... how would you two feel about carrying a true Hylian shield into Link's house? It would be so worth it to see how he reacts to another secret of his being evaporated out of existence!" She laughed, a bit of the evil chill back in her voice. Chance raised a brow at the sound of that chilling laughter. "I thought you said you didn't hate heroes." He skeptically spoke. She looked back at the two and simply stated back in a pleasant tone "Hating and putting up with for the sake of my only friends are two different things. Now do you want me to teach Ester to Kill something with certainty no matter what it is or not?"
Chance gasped. "You don't mean you know the-"
Shadow interrupted. "Ending blow? Of course! I am the one who invented it aren't I?"
Chance smiled. "This I gotta see in action!"

Ester let out a smirk, arching a brow at Shadow Ester. "You do have a point... But I'm not going through the whole 'You lied to me, again' thing with my dad. He can 'keep' this secret. Hopefully you do too, unlike the last secret you spilled" With this, she put both palms on the table and gave a sharp look before going back to finishing off her fish. Why on earth was she so insistent on screwing with her dad? Weren't there any other heroes out there that she could go pester? After all, Ester didn't feel like much of a hero anyways.
Once the dishes were cleared and everything was neat, Ester picked up her sword. "So... what in Termina is this Ending Blow? I don't think I've ever heard of it... Sounds cryptic"

Shadow Ester smirked in a way that clearly said 'I know something you don't'. She walked to the door of the house. "Well... If I showed you here, someone would die. I'm pretty sure Chance isn't going to volunteer to get stabbed to death, so we should probably go outside where I can show you how I taught myself the Ending Blow."
Chance shuddered as a thought crossed his mind. If it was called the 'Ending Blow', then wouldn't they have to well... end someone's life to execute it? Although he did want to see it in action, he didn't want to upset Ester by forcing her to kill someone. Not when her reaction to HIM killing a Goron had been so drastic. Shadow Ester however, didn't seem worried. No she seemed like she had a very well thought out plan. Following her out the door, he voiced his thoughts.
"Don't you think showing her a one hit kill move is a little, oh I don't know... out of her comfort zone?" He asked. Her answer shocked more than just him.
"Relax, loverboy, She'll be practicing on..." Shadow Ester snapped her fingers, and promptly had a Shadow Ester clone standing next to her. "Me!" the clone finished. Chance looked at the two, dumbfounded. "Ummm... can those be used for more than battle tactics?" he asked sheepishly, and admittedly a little ashamed of where his thoughts had instantly gone. Both Shadow Esters nodded. "You bet, loverboy!"

As they walked out, Ester could see that Chance was nervous. She arched a brow at him, wondering why HE was nervous. After all, whatever was going to be on the other end of her blade was the thing that would die, and she certainly wasn't going to aim something called an Ending Blow at her lover. Ester gave Chance a look that asked 'Really?' when he voiced his opinions on learning the new move. "Chance, I've killed plenty of things. Mostly Deku Babas and Keese, but I've killed them nonetheless. Learning this move will make it so we have a better chance of getting out of the Goron Temple ALIVE."
Thankfully, Shadow Ester seemed to have a proper plan, but what she did next was something that took the real Ester offguard completely. She made a duplicate of herself. With wide eyes, she muttered, "So, wait... you could do that the whole time? And... you could've made an ARMY of yourself when we fought the first time?" Though her questions were ignored, Chance's wasn't, which made Ester roll her eyes with a huff. "Really... as if two of me isn't enough for you..." She gave him a quick jab to the shoulder, then readied her stance, holding the sword with both hands in front of her. "I'm ready"
The Shadow clone looked fearful, as if it had a mind of it's own. "Why is she looking at me like that?" she asked her original Shadow self. The first ignored her clone and drew her sword, then jumped at her clone, slashing it until the clone fell to the ground. "Not this again!" she groaned as Shadow Ester jumped into the air and drove her sword through the chest area of the clone, which dispersed in a cloud of smoke.
removing her sword from the ground, the original Shadow Ester smirked. "They always did protest." she chuckled as she looked at the two on lookers. Chance looked like he was not happy with the joy Shadow Ester had displayed in effectively killing herself. If she noticed, Shadow Ester didn't show it. "That," She explained, turning to Ester, "Is the Ending Blow Hidden Skill. Care to attempt it?" She asked, snapping, which created another Shadow Clone, which immediately tried to run away and was stopped by Shadow Ester grabbing it's dress.
"Dammit!" the clone cursed as she just stood there to be used for target practice

Ester watched the clone intently, and it seemed to show. The original Ester kept watching until the clone smoke had dispersed. "Huh, seems easy enough" she commented, hardly appearing to react to killing a clone of her clone self. Quickly she ran up to the clone, slashing at it, and replicating the jump Shadow Ester made, she thrust the blade into the Clone's chest. As it disappeared, Ester wiped her bangs out of her face. "How was that?"
Shadow Ester smirked. "You catch on quickly. Ack!" and she suddenly doubled over in pain. Chance looked at her worriedly, but not as worried as he normally would be. Then after thinking over something, he voiced his thoughts. "Why did you use Shadow Magic to split yourself in two with one of you being comprised of a single cell, then growing in half a millisecond?"
Shadow Ester stared at him in shock. "How did you figure it out?" she asked as she recovered from absorbing the two cells she had used. Chance shrugged. "When you use Twilit magic, it's easy to see through Shadow Magic. On top of that, I am a Twilit Prince, so I am very... well educated in those arts. Anyways, Ester learned the Ending Blow, so let's head to the temple." He turned to Ester. "From what I saw yesterday, you are going to need to be a goron to get there, though."

Planting the point of the sword in the ground, she leaned on it for a second. "Than- Hey! You ok??" She started towards her doppleganger but Chance's words made her stop and look at him with a curious look. "Oh yeah... I forgot you were a Twilit Prince..." She felt kind of sheepish after that. "I'm on it" she said, pulling the Goron mask out with a flourish and putting it on her face, soon clutching it tight as pain coursed through her once more. Thank the Goddesses that shirt was still on her. With a rather toothless smile, she waved them over and rolled into a ball, setting off for the temple.

Interestingly enough, as Ester shifted to a Goron, Shadow Ester followed suit. Rolling after the hero, she laughed as Chance gaped. "What? thought I couldn't morph to whatever she is? you really are clueless sometimes!" She said when the three arrived at the door to the temple. Chance was now in his smaller form, and lifted the door with his hair. "After you, ladies!" he said as the three of them entered the huge temple.
